James 1
1 James, a servant, of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, —unto the twelve tribes that are in the dispersion, Wishes joy.
Rangte nyia Teesu Jisu Kristo laksuh, Jeems taangnawa: Mongrep noongrep ni Rangte mina loong tiisoontla loong suh jengseera.
2 All Joy, account it, my brethren, whensoever ye fall in with, manifold, temptations, —
Joon awaan loong, sen taangnah jaatrep phate joonnaam thok haadoh khangraangse ngeh ih li an,
3 Taking note, that, the proving of your faith, worketh out endurance;
tiimnge liidi erah likhiik phate joonnaam ah sen tuumaang nawa ih jen tanno juuba, jirep adoh jen naan eh an.
4 But let, your endurance, have, mature work, that ye may be mature and complete, in nothing, coming short.
Sen ih jat etheng, jen naan ih tanno roidong doh jirep ah jen an, eno juuba tiim lampo nah uh sen epun nyia lasoot lasaam ang an.
5 But, if any of you is sinning short of wisdom, let him be asking of God, Who giveth unto all freely and upbraideth not, and it shall be given him;
Enoothong sengdung dowa o ang an bah uh mongtham ese laje kanbah, sen ih Rangte rangsoom an heh ih kot ehan; tiimnge liidi Rangte ih loongtang suh larat lapat thang ih minchan ih chokoha.
6 But let him be asking in faith, nothing, doubting, for, he that doubteth, is like a wave of the sea, wind-driven and storm-tossed, —
Enoothong mabah rangsoom an, tenchi lah angthang ih hanpi an. O tenchi angla erabah juusih ni pong ih juutak saapmot ah likhiik.
7 For let not that man think that he shall receive anything from the Lord—
Sen loong emah mok ang anbah, nyia tiim re an bah uh sen thung nah lajen phanthun kanbah,
8 A two-souled man, unstable in all his ways.
Teesu taangnawa echoh eh ih ngeh ih nakmok thun an.
9 But boasting be the lowly brother in his uplifting;
Changthih Kristaan loong ah Rangte ih toonjoh adoh tenroon ang theng,
10 Whereas the rich, in his being brought low, —because, as a flower of grass, he will pass away;
adoleh changteng Kristaan loong ah Rangte ih datthiin ih adoh tenroon ang theng. Tiimnge liidi changteng ah woma ni popong kah mutdat ah likhiik ih mah ah.
11 For the sun hath sprung up, with it scorching heat, and hath withered the grass, and, the flower thereof, hath fallen out, and, the beauty of the face thereof, hath perished, —so, also the rich, in his goings, shall languish.
Rangsa ah khaamloolo ih dong tahaano nyia mi taano bangphook ah tekraat eha; hepoong uh takah poongka, adoleh hejaase ah uh emat e ah. Erah likhiikkhiik changteng loong ah neng pheehoon mootkaat damdoh thet haat ah.
12 Happy the man who endureth temptation! Because, becoming approved, he shall receive the crown of life—which he hath promised unto them that love him.
Phate joonnaam di o ih tuumaang roh eha erah juuba tenroon, tiimnge liidi erah thaak taari ha jen ano, heh mongnook loong asuh Rangte ih kakhamta jun ih hethaang ah roidong koh ah.
13 Let, no one, while tempted, be saying—From God, am I tempted, —for, God, cannot be tempted by things evil, and, himself, tempteth no one;
Erah likhiik thaak taari heedoh, seng ih mabah uh lajaatjaat jeng theng, “Arah thaak taari hali ah Rangte taangnawa.” Tiimnge liidi Rangte ah ethih ekhah ih tami thaak taari ka, he teewah ih o uh tathaak taari ka.
14 But, each one, is tempted, when, by his own coveting, he is drawn out and enticed,
Enoothong seng tenthun ethih nyia nyamnyook ih dat hoom hali.
15 Then, the coveting, having conceived, giveth birth to sin, and, the sin, when full-grown, bringeth forth death.
Eno seng tenthun ethih ekhah rah ih rangdah dongsam thukla nyia dongtup ha; erah lih adi rangdah ah hantek phong taano etek ih thukla.
16 Be not deceived, my brethren beloved: —
Joonte loong erah raangtaan ih naktoom mokwaan han!
17 Every good giving, and every perfect gift, is, from above, coming down from the Father of lights—with whom is no alternation, nor shadow cast, by turning:
Ranglakkot ese nyia epun lakkot ah rangmong nawa ra hala; rangmong dowa weephaak Dongsiitte Rangte reenawa ra hala, heh lekte tah angka nyia rangnak takah ngaak ang thukka.
18 Because he was so minded, he hath brought us forth with a word of truth, to the end we should be a sort of firstfruit of his creatures
Hethung hetak nawa ih nyia heh jengkhaap amiisak nawa ih dongtup tahe, tiimnge liidi mathan dongsiitta erah loong tung dowa seng loong ah phangkhoh tiik arah potiik loong ang theng.
19 Ye know, my brethren beloved, —but let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger,
Joonte loong, sen ih arah samthun roh etheng! Warep ih boichaat ah jaalo ih boichaat theng, enoothong ejeng nyia ekhat ah siak lakhat theng.
20 For, man’s anger, worketh not, God’s righteousness.
Mina tenkhat ih Rangte kateng tenthun nyia mootkaat ah mabah uh tachoka.
21 Wherefore, putting away all filthiness and overflow of baseness, in meekness, welcome ye the word fitted for inward growth, which is able to save your souls:
Erah raangtaan ih lalangka lampo ni jangse li dowa nyia ethih mootkaat loong dowa haloh ang theng. Jirep ah Rangte suh look anno sen tenthun ni tiimjaat jengkhaap dong thukla erah ah kaptheng, erah ih juuba jen puipang han.
22 Become ye doers of the word, and not hearers only—reasoning yourselves astray;
Heh jengkhaap ah boichaat luulu ih anno sen teenuh teewah nak mokwaan an; erah nang ebah erah chaat han jengkhaap kap suh jangse an.
23 Because, if any is, a word-hearer, and not a doer, the same, is like unto a man observing his natural face in a mirror, —
Sen ih jengkhaap ah boichaat luulu ih anno erah jun ih jangse lareeraang kanbah, theeri ni adoleh samsok ni o mina ih heh teenuh teewah likhiikkhiik ih japtup arah likhiik ih ang an.
24 For he observed himself, and is gone away, and, straightway, it hath escaped him, —what manner of man, he was!
Erah loong ah ebah neng teenuh teewah ah samkhikhih ih sok ano dokkhoom kala eno hethe hekhoh tiim likhiik angko taaja erah jaasiit di lak haat ha.
25 But, he that hath obtained a nearer view into the perfect law of liberty, and hath taken up his abode by it, becoming—not a forgetful hearer, but a work doer, the same, happy in his doing, shall be.
Enoothong marah hootthe mina puipang suh epunthoon ah, labeehaat thang ih erah hootthe ah kap anbah nyia boichaat luulu lah ethang ih jangse ih reeraang pakna anbah—sen tiim re an erah doh Rangte ih romseetam kohan.
26 If any thinketh he is observant of religion, not curbing his own tongue, but deceiving his own heart, this one’s, religious observance is, vain:
O ih bah uh sen jaachi ni ngah thooroom mina ngeh ih tam thun han? Heh tuihih ah laplap ih moot abah heh thooroom ah thaangmuh, erabah heh teeteewah ba mokwaan ha.
27 Religious observance, pure and undefiled with our God and Father, is, this—to be visiting orphans and widows in their affliction, unspotted, to keep, himself, from the world.
