< Isaiah 1 >
1 The vision of Isaiah son of Amoz, which he saw, concerning Judah and Jerusalem, —in the days of Uzziah Jotham Ahaz Hezekiah—kings of Judah.
Ti Sirmata ni Isaias a putot ni Amos, a nakitana maipapan iti Juda ken Jerusalem, kadagidi al-aldaw da Uzzias, Jotam, Acaz ken Ezekias a nagbalin nga ar-ari ti Juda.
2 Hear O heavens, And give ear, O earth, for Yahweh, hath spoken: —Sons, have I brought up, and advanced, And, they, have rebelled against me.
Dumngegkayo a langlangit, ken denggem, daga; ta nagsao ni Yahweh: “Nangaywan ken nangpadakkelak kadagiti ubbing, ngem nagsukirda kaniak.
3 An ox knoweth, his owner, And an ass his masters crib, —Israel, doth not know, My people doth not consider.
Ammo ti baka ti akin-kukua kenkuana, ken ammo ti asno iti pagpakanan ti amona, ngem saan nga ammo ti Israel, awan pannakaawat ti Israel.”
4 Alas! a nation—committing sin, a people—burdened with iniquity, a seed—practising wickedness, sons—acting corruptly. They have forsaken Yahweh despised the Holy One of Israel, —Are estranged and gone back.
Asika pay a nasion, managbasol, tattao a nailumlom iti kinadangkes, anak dagiti managdakdakes, annak nga agtigtignay a sidadakes! Tinallikudanda ni Yahweh, linaisda ti Nasantoan a Dios ti Israel, pinagbalinda a gangannaet dagiti bagbagida manipud kenkuana.
5 Why should ye be smitten any more? Ye would again turn aside! The whole head is sick, And the whole heart faint:
Apay ketdin a ti pakabautanyo ti birbirukenyo? Apay ta itultuloyyo ti panagsukiryo? Ti sibubukel nga ulo ket masakit, ti sibubukel a puso ket nakapuy.
6 From the sole of the foot even unto the head, there is in it no soundness, Bruise and stripe and newly-made wound, —They have not been pressed out, nor bound up, nor soothed with oil.
Manipud iti dapan agingga iti ulo, awan ti paset a saan a nadangran: pasig a sugsugat, litlitem, ken silulukat a sugsugat; saanda pay a nagserra, nadalusan, nabedbedan, wenno saan pay a naagasan iti lana.
7 Your country—is a desolation, Your cities—are consumed with fire, —Your soil—right before your eyes, foreigners are devouring it, And it is a desolation a very overthrow by foreigners;
Nadadael ti pagilianyo; napuoran dagiti siudadyo, dagiti taltalonyo-iti presensiayo-daddadaelen dagitoy dagiti ganggannaet-nadadael ken napanawan, pinarmek dagiti ganggannaet.
8 And left is the Daughter of Zion, Like a hut in a vineyard, —Like a lodge in a gourd-plot Like a city besieged.
Napanawan ti anak ti Sion a kasla kalapaw iti maysa a kaubasan, kasla paglinungan iti nakaimulaan dagiti pipino, kasla nalakub a siudad.
9 If, Yahweh of hosts, had not left us a very small remnant, Like Sodom, had we become, Gomorrah, had we resembled.
No saan a nagibati ni Yahweh a Mannakabalin-amin iti bassit kadatayo, nagbalintayo koman a kasla iti Sodoma, mabalin a nagbalintayo koman a kasla iti Gomora;
10 Hear the word of Yahweh, ye rulers of Sodom, —Give ear to the instruction of our God, ye people of Gomorrah: —
Denggenyo ti sao ni Yahweh, dakayo a mangiturturay iti Sodoma; dumngegkayo iti linteg ti Diostayo, dakayo a tattao iti Gomora:
11 Of what use to me, is your multitude of sacrifices: Saith Yahweh: I am sated with ascending-offerings of rams and the fat of fed beasts, —In the blood of bulls and young rams and he-goats, have I no pleasure.
“Ania ngay koma ti serbi kaniak dagiti adu a sagsagutyo?” kinuna ni Yahweh. “Naumaakon kadagiti daton a mapuoran a kalakian a karnero, ken iti taba dagiti napalukmeg nga ay-ayup; ken saanko a pagragsakan ti dara dagiti bulog a baka, karnero, wenno kalding.
12 When ye enter to see my face, Who hath required this at your hand trampling my courts?
No kasta nga umaykayo dumatag iti sangoanak, siasino ti nangkiddaw kadakayo iti daytoy, a baddekanyo dagiti paraangak?
13 Ye shall not again bring in an empty, present, Incense, an abomination, is that unto me! New moon, and sabbath calling an assembly—I cannot endure, iniquity and sacred festival!
Saankayon a mangiyeg kadagiti awan serserbina a sagsagut; makarimon kaniak ti insenso; ti panangrambakyo iti baro a bulan ken panagtitiponyo iti Aldaw ti Panaginana-saanko a maanusan no kasta nga agtitiponkayo gapu kadagiti dakes nga ar-aramidenyo.
14 Your new moons and your appointed feasts, my soul, hateth, —They have become unto me a burden I am too weary to bear:
Kagurak ti panangrambakyo iti baro a bulan ken dagiti naikeddeng a fiestayo; dadagsen dagitoy kaniak; nabannogakon a mangib-ibtur kadagitoy.
15 Even when ye spread forth your open palms, I hide mine eyes from you; Yea, though ye multiply prayers, I am not hearkening, —Your hands, with deeds of blood, are filled.
Isu a tunggal ingatoyo dagiti imayo nga agkararag, ilingedko dagiti matak kadakayo; uray no mangipaaykayo iti adu a karkararag, saanakto a dumngeg; napno iti dara dagiti imayo.
16 Wash you make you clean, Put away the wickedness of your doings from before mine eyes, —Cease to do evil.
Agbuggokayo, dalusanyo dagiti bagbagiyo; ikkatenyo dagiti dakes nga aramidyo manipud iti imatangko; isardengyo ti kinadakesyo;
17 Learn to do well—Seek justice, Correct the oppressor, —Vindicate the fatherless, Plead the cause of the widow,
sursuroenyo ti agaramid iti naimbag; ipakatyo ti hustisia, tulunganyo dagiti maidaddadanes, ikalinteganyo dagiti ulila iti ama, salaknibanyo dagiti balo.”
18 Come, I pray you, and let us settle the dispute Saith Yahweh, —Though your sins be found like scarlet, As snow, shall they be made white, Though they appear red like crimson, As wool, shall they become.
“Umaykayo ita, ta aglilinnawagtayo,” kuna ni Yahweh; “uray no dagiti basolyo ket kasla naraniag a nalabaga, pumurawdanto a kasla niebe; uray no nalabagada a kasla karmesi, kasladanto kapuraw iti dutdot.
19 If ye be willing—and hearken Of the good of the land, shall ye eat;
No natulok ken natulnogkayo, kanenyonto ti naimbag nga apit iti daga.
20 But, if ye refuse and rebel, With the sword, shall ye be devoured, For, the mouth of Yahweh, hath spoken it.
ngem no agkedked ken agsukirkayo, alun-onennakayonto ti kampilan,” ta ti ngiwat ni Yahweh ti nangisao iti daytoy.
21 How hath she become unchaste!—The city that was Faithful, —Full of justice, Righteousness lodged in her, But, now, murderers!
Nagkas-angen ta nagbalinen a balangkantis ti napudno a siudad! Napnoan isuna iti hustisia- napnoan isuna iti kinalinteg, ngem ita napnoan isunan kadagiti mammapatay.
22 Thy silver, hath become dross, —Thy wine, weakened with water;
Ti pirakmo ket nagbalin a narugit, ti arakmo ket nalaokan iti danum.
23 Thy rulers, are unruly, and companions of thieves, Every one of the people, loveth a bribe, and runneth after rewards, —The fatherless, they do not vindicate, And, the plea of the widow, reacheth them not.
Dagiti prinsipem ket nasukir ken kakadua dagiti mannanakaw; pagaayat ti amin ti pasuksok ken gunguna. Saanda nga ikalkalintegan dagiti ulila iti ama, ken dagiti darum dagiti balo ket saan a makagteng kadakuada.
24 Therefore, Declareth the Lord Yahweh of hosts, The Mighty One of Israel, —Alas! I must appease me on mine adversaries, I must avenge me on mine enemies
Isu a daytoy ti pakaammo ti Apo, ni Yahweh a Mannakabalin-amin, a Mannakabalin a Dios ti Israel: Asida pay! Agibalesakto kadagiti kabusorko, ket balsek dagiti kabusorko;
25 That I may turn my hand against thee, And smelt away, as with potash, thy dross, And remove all thine alloy;
iturongkonto ti imak a maibusor kadakayo, dalusak dagiti rugityo, ken ikkatek amin ti kinarugityo.
26 That I may restore thy Judges as at the first, and thy Counsellors as at the beginning, —After that, shalt thou be called Righteous citadel, Trusty city, —
Isublikto dagiti ukomyo a kas idi un-unana, ken dagiti mammagbagayo a kas idi punganay; kalpasan dayta, maawagankanto a siudad ti kinalinteg, maysa a napudno nga ili.”
27 Zion, with justice shall be redeemed, —And her returning ones, with righteousness;
Masubbotto ti Sion babaen iti hustisia, ken dagiti tattaona nga agbabawi babaen iti kinalinteg.
28 And the downfall of transgressors and sinners, shall be, together, —And, they who forsake Yahweh, shall be brought to an end;
Madadaelto a sangsangkamaysa dagiti nasukir ken managbasol, ken mapapatayto dagiti tumallikud kenni Yahweh.
29 For they shall turn pale on account of the oaks which ye desired, —And ye shall blush on account of the gardens which ye had chosen;
“Ta mabainkayonto gapu kadagiti nasagradoan a lugo a kaykayo a tinarigagayanyo, ket mabainankayto gapu kadagiti minuyongan a piniliyo.
30 For ye shall be as an oak with its leaf faded, And as a garden that hath no, water;
Ta kaiyariganyonto ti kayo alugo a magango dagiti bulongna, ken kasla minuyongan nga awan iti danumna.
31 Then shall the strong one become tow, And his work a spark, —And they shall both blaze together And there be none to quench the fire.
Ti napigsa a tao ket kaslanto nagango a kayo ken ti aramidna ket kas iti risak; mapuoranda nga agpada, ket awanto ti mang-iddep kadakuada.”
