Isaiah 66

1 Thus, saith Yahweh, The, heavens, are my throne, and The earth, is my footstool: Where then is the house which ye can build me? Or where is my place of rest?

۱ خداوند چنین می‌گوید: «آسمانهاکرسی من و زمین پای انداز من است، پس خانه‌ای که برای من بنا می‌کنید کجا است؟ ومکان آرام من کجا؟»

2 For, all these things, hath mine own hand made, And all these things came into being, —Declareth Yahweh. But for this one, will I look around, For him who is humbled and smitten in spirit, And so careth anxiously for my word.

۲ خداوند می‌گوید: «دست من همه این چیزها را ساخت پس جمیع اینهابوجود آمد اما به این شخص که مسکین و شکسته دل و از کلام من لرزان باشد، نظر خواهم کرد.

3 He that slaughtereth an ox, [is as one] who smiteth a man, He that sacrificeth a lamb, [is as one] who beheadeth a dog, he that causeth a meal-offering to ascend, offereth it with the blood of swine, He that maketh a memorial of frankincense, [is as one] who blesseth iniquity: They indeed, have chosen their own ways, And in their own abominations, their soul hath found delight;

۳ کسی‌که گاوی ذبح نماید مثل قاتل انسان است و کسی‌که گوسفندی ذبح کند مثل شخصی است که گردن سگ را بشکند. و آنکه هدیه‌ای بگذراندمثل کسی است که خون خنزیری را بریزد و آنکه بخور‌سوزاند مثل شخصی است که بتی را تبریک نماید و ایشان راههای خود را اختیار کرده‌اند وجان ایشان از رجاسات خودشان مسرور است.

4 I, also, will choose the things that vex them. And the things they dread, will I bring upon them, Because—I called and there was none to answer, I spake, and they hearkened not, —But did that which was wicked in mine eyes, And of that wherein I delighted not, made choice.

۴ پس من نیز مصیبت های ایشان را اختیار خواهم کرد و ترسهای ایشان را بر ایشان عارض خواهم گردانید، زیرا چون خواندم کسی جواب نداد وچون تکلم نمودم ایشان نشنیدند بلکه آنچه را که در نظر من ناپسند بود بعمل آوردند و آنچه را که نخواستم اختیار کردند.»

5 Hear the word of Yahweh, ye who care anxiously for his word: Said your brethren Who hated you. Who thrust you out for my Name’s sake, Yahweh be glorified! Therefore shall he appear to your rejoicing, But, they, shall turn pale.

۵ ‌ای آنانی که از کلام خداوند می‌لرزید سخن او را بشنوید. برادران شما که از شما نفرت دارندو شما را بخاطر اسم من از خود می‌رانندمی گویند: خداوند تمجید کرده شود تا شادی شما را ببینم لیکن ایشان خجل خواهند شد.

6 The sound of a tumult—out of the city, A sound, out of the temple, —The sound of Yahweh rendering recompense to his foes.

۶ آواز غوغا از شهر، صدایی از هیکل، آوازخداوند است که به دشمنان خود مکافات می‌رساند.

7 Before she travaileth, she hath brought forth, —Before her pains come to her, she hath given birth to a man-child!

۷ قبل از آنکه درد زه بکشد، زایید. پیش از آنکه درد او را فرو‌گیرد اولاد نرینه‌ای آورد.

8 Who hath heard the like of this? Who hath seen the like of these things? Can a land, be made to bring forth in one day? Or a nation, be born, at one time? As soon as she travaileth, Zion hath also given birth to her children.

۸ کیست که مثل این را شنیده و کیست که مثل این را دیده باشد؟ آیا ولایتی در یک روزمولود گردد و قومی یکدفعه زاییده شود؟ زیرا صهیون به مجرد درد زه کشیدن پسران خود را زایید.

9 Could, I, bring to the birth and not cause to bring forth? saith Yahweh. Or, I, be causing to bring forth and then prevent? Saith thy God.

۹ خداوند می‌گوید: «آیا من بفم رحم برسانم و نزایانم؟» و خدای تومی گوید: «آیا من که زایاننده هستم، رحم راببندم؟»

10 Rejoice ye with Jerusalem, and exult over her All ye who love her, —Joy with her right joyfully, All ye who used to mourn over her:

۱۰ ‌ای همه آنانی که اورشلیم را دوست می‌دارید با او شادی کنید و برایش وجد نمایید. وای همه آنانی که برای او ماتم می‌گیرید، با اوشادی بسیار نمایید.

11 That ye may draw to satisfaction out of the fountain of her consolations, —That ye may drain out and get exquisite delight from the abundance of her glory.

۱۱ تا از پستانهای تسلیات اوبمکید و سیر شوید و بدوشید و از فراوانی جلال او محظوظ گردید.

12 For, thus, saith Yahweh, —Behold me! extending unto her like a river, prosperity, And as a torrent o’erflowing, the glory of the nations. That ye may draw it forth—Upon the side, shall ye be carried, and Upon the knees, shall ye be caressed:

۱۲ زیرا خداوند چنین می‌گوید: «اینک من سلامتی را مثل نهر و جلال امت‌ها را مانند نهر سرشار به او خواهم رسانید. وشما خواهید مکید و در آغوش او برداشته شده، بر زانوهایش بناز پرورده خواهید شد.»

13 As one whom, his mother, consoleth, So, will, I, console you, And in Jerusalem, shall ye be consoled.

۱۳ و مثل کسی‌که مادرش او را تسلی دهد همچنین من شمارا تسلی خواهم داد ودر اورشلیم تسلی خواهیدیافت.»

14 As soon as ye have seen it, your heart, shall be joyful, And your bones, like green herbage, shall thrive, —So shall be known The hand of Yahweh with his servants, But indignation with his foes!

۱۴ پس چون این را بینید دل شما شادمان خواهد شد و استخوانهای شما مثل گیاه سبز وخرم خواهد گردید و دست خداوند بر بندگانش معروف خواهد شد اما بر دشمنان خود غضب خواهد نمود.

15 For lo! Yahweh, with fire, doth come, And like a storm-wind, [are] his chariots, —To render with fury, his anger, And his rebuke with flames of fire.

۱۵ زیرا اینک خداوند با آتش خواهد آمد و ارابه های او مثل گردباد تاغضب خود را با حدت و عتاب خویش را باشعله آتش به انجام رساند.

16 For, by fire, will Yahweh enter into judgment, And by his sword, with all flesh, —And many shall be the slain of Yahweh.

۱۶ زیرا خداوند باآتش و شمشیر خود بر تمامی بشر داوری خواهد نمود و مقتولان خداوند بسیار خواهندبود.

17 They who hallow themselves and purify themselves for the gardens, Behind a certain thing in the midst, Who eat the flesh of swine and the abomination, and the mouse, Together, shall be cut off—Declareth Yahweh.

۱۷ و خداوند می‌گوید: «آنانی که از عقب یکنفر که در وسط باشد خویشتن را در باغات تقدیس و تطهیر می‌نمایند و گوشت خنزیر ورجاسات و گوشت موش می‌خورند با هم تلف خواهند شد.

18 Because, I, …for their works and their devices, doth it come! …Am about to gather together all nations and tongues, —So shall they come and see my glory.

۱۸ و من اعمال و خیالات ایشان راجزا خواهم داد و آمده، جمیع امت‌ها و زبانها راجمع خواهم کرد و ایشان آمده، جلال مراخواهند دید.

19 Then will I set among them, a sign, And will send, of them such as have escaped unto the nations—Tarshish Pul and Lud that draw the bow, Tubal and Javan, —The Coastlands that are afar off, Who have not heard my fame Nor seen my glory, And they shall tell my glory throughout the nations.

۱۹ و آیتی در میان ایشان برپاخواهم داشت و آنانی را که از ایشان نجات یابندنزد امت‌ها به ترشیش و فول و تیراندازان لود وتوبال و یونان و جزایر بعیده که آوازه مرانشنیده‌اند و جلال مرا ندیده‌اند خواهم فرستاد تاجلال مرا در میان امت‌ها شایع سازند.»

20 Then shall they bring in all your brethren out of all the nations, As a present unto Yahweh, Upon horses and in chariots and in palanquins and on mules and on dromedaries Unto my holy mountain—Jerusalem, saith Yahweh, —Just as the sons of Israel, bring in their present in a pure vessel, into the house, of Yahweh.

۲۰ وخداوند می‌گوید که ایشان جمیع برادران شما رااز تمامی امت‌ها بر اسبان و ارابه‌ها و تخت روانهاو قاطران و شتران به کوه مقدس من اورشلیم به جهت خداوند هدیه خواهند‌آورد. چنانکه بنی‌اسرائیل هدیه خود را در ظرف پاک به خانه خداوند می‌آورند.

21 And of them also, will I take for priests—for Levites, saith Yahweh,

۲۱ و خداوند می‌گویدکه از ایشان نیز کاهنان و لاویان خواهند گرفت.

22 For, as the new heavens and the new earth, which I am about to make, are to remain before me, Declareth Yahweh, So, shall remain your seed and your name.

۲۲ زیرا خداوند می‌گوید: «چنانکه آسمانهای جدید و زمین جدیدی که من آنها را خواهم ساخت در حضور من پایدار خواهد ماندهمچنان ذریت شما و اسم شما پایدار خواهد ماند.»

23 And it shall come to pass, that From one new moon to another, and From one sabbath to another, Shall all flesh, come in, to bow down before me, Saith Yahweh.

۲۳ و خداوند می‌گوید که از غره ماه تاغره دیگر و از سبت تا سبت دیگر تمامی بشرخواهند آمد تا به حضور من سجده نمایند.

24 Then shall they go forth and look upon the dead bodies of the men who had been trespassing against me—For, their worm, shall not die, And, their fire, shall not be quenched; So shall they become an abhorrence to all flesh.

۲۴ وایشان بیرون رفته، لاشهای مردمانی را که بر من عاصی شده‌اند ملاحظه خواهند کرد زیرا کرم ایشان نخواهد مرد و آتش ایشان خاموش نخواهد شد و ایشان نزد تمامی بشر مکروه خواهند بود.
