Isaiah 65
1 I have let myself be consulted by them who had not asked, I have suffered myself to be found by them who had not sought me, —I have said, Here I am! Here I am! Unto a nation that had not been called by my name,
Nilikuwa tayari kuchaguliwa na wale ambao hawakuniomba; Nilikuwa tayari kupatikana kwa wale ambao hawakunitafuta. Nilisema, ''Niko hapa!' kwa taifa ambalo halikuita jina langu.
2 I have spread out my hands all the day, Unto a rebellious people, —Who walk In the way that is not good, After their own devices.
Nimetawanya mikono yangu siku zote kuwasumbua watu wangu, wanao tembea katika njia isiyopasa, wanaotembea kwa kufuata mawazo yao wenyewe na mipango yao.
3 The people who are provoking me to anger to my face continually, —Sacrificing in gardens, and Burning incense upon bricks;
Kuna watu wanoendelea kunipinga mimi, wanatoa sadaka zao katika bustani, na kuchoma ubani juu ya matofali.
4 Who tarry among graves, And in the secret places, do lodge, Who eat the flesh of swine, And the broth of refuse things is in their vessels, —
Wamekaa miongoni mwa makaburi na kuangalia usiku kucha, na hula nyama ya nguruwe na mchuzi mchafu wa nyama katika vyombo vyao.
5 Who say—Draw near by thyself, Do not approach with me, For I am holier than thou! These, are A smoke in my nostrils, A fire, burning all the day.
Wanasema, 'Simama mbali, usisogee karibu na mimi, maana mimi ni mtakatifu zaidi yako.' Vitu hivi ni moshi katika pua zangu, moto uwakao mchana kutwa.
6 Lo! it is written before me, —I will not keep silence, But I have recompensed, and will recompense into their bosom:
Tazama, imeandikwa mbele yangu: Sitanyamaza, Maana nitawalipa wao tena; nitafanya malipo yao katika miguu yao,
7 Your own iniquities, And the, iniquities of your fathers together, Saith Yahweh, Who have burned incense upon the mountains, And upon the hills, have reproached me, —Therefore will I measure their former work into their bosom.
kwa sababu ya dhambi zao na dhambi za baba zao kwa pamoja.'' asema Yahwe. ''Nitawajibu wao kwa kuchoma ubani juu ya milima na kunifanyia mimi juu ya vilima. Hivyo basi nitapima juu ya matendo yao ya kale katika miguu yao.''
8 Thus, saith Yahweh—As, new wine, is found, in the cluster, And one saith, Do not destroy it, for a blessing is in it, So, will I do for the sake of my servants, That I may not destroy the whole [nation];
Yahwe asema hivi, ''Ikiwa kama juisi itapatikana katika nguzo ya zabibu, wakati mmoja ataposema, 'Usihiaribu hiyo, maa kuna uzuri ndani yake; hichi ndicho nitakachokifanya kwa niaba ya watumishi wangu: Sitawaribu wao wote.
9 Therefore will I bring forth Out of Jacob, a seed, and Out of Judah, an inheritor of my mountains, That my chosen ones may inherit it, And, my servants, dwell there;
Nitazileta koo kutoka kwa Yakobo, na kutoka Yuda wao ambao watairithi milima yangu. Niliowachagua watairithi aridhi, na watumishi wangu wataishi pale.
10 Then shall, Sharon, become, a fold for flocks, And the vale of Achor for the lying down of herds, —For my people who have sought me.
Sharoni itakuwa malisho ya makundi, na bonde la Akori itakuwa sehemu ya kupumzikia ya makundi yangu, kwa watu wangu wanaonitafuta mimi.
11 But, ye are they—Who forsake Yahweh Who forget my holy mountain—Who prepare, for Fortune, a table and Who fill for Destiny, mixed wine;
Lakini yeye aliyeachana na Yehwe, anayeusahau mlima wangu mtakatifu, anayeandaa meza kwa bahati ya mungu, na kujaza kikombe cha mvinyo uliochanganywa na miungu inayoitwa Hatama.
12 Therefore will I destine you to the sword, And, ye all, to the slaughter, shall bow down. Because I called and ye answered not, I spake, and ye hearkened not, —But did that which was wicked in mine eyes, And of that wherein I delighted not, ye made choice,
Nitaufikisha mwisho wenu kwa upanga, na wato mtainama chini kwa kuchinjwa, Kwa sababu nilipokuita wewe, haukuitikia; nilipozungumza haukunisikliza. lakini mlifanya yaliyo mabaya katika macho yangu na kuchagua kufanya yasiyo nipendeza mimi.''
13 Therefore, Thus, saith My Lord, Yahweh, —Lo! my servants, shall eat but, ye, shall be famished, Lo! my servants, shall drink but, ye shall be thirsty, —Lo! my servants, shall rejoice but ye, shall turn pale;
Bwana Yahwe asema hivi, ''Tazama, mtumishi atakula, lakini atashikwa na njaa; tazama mtumishi wangu atakunywa lakini atakuwa na kiu; tazama mtumishi wangu atashangilia, lakini atatiwa katika aibu.
14 Lo! my servants, shall shout in triumph for mirth of heart But, ye, shall make outcry, for pain of heart, And for a breaking of spirit, shall ye howl.
Tazama, mtumishi wangu atapiga kelele za furaha kwa sababu ya furaha ya moyo, lakini utalia kwa sababu ya maumivu ya moyo, na mtapiga kelele kwa sababu ya kusagwa kwa roho zenu.
15 So shall ye leave your name for an oath, to my chosen ones, —So then My Lord Yahweh, will slay thee, —And his servants, will he, call by another name:
Nanyi mtaliacha jina lenu nyuma kama laana kwa watu niliowachagua wazungumze; Mimi Bwana Yahwe, Nitakuwa wewe; Nitawaita watumishi wangu kwa jina lingine.
16 So that he who blesseth himself in the earth, Will bless himself in the God of faithfulness, And he who sweareth in the earth Will swear by the God of faithfulness—Because the former troubles have been forgotten, and Because they are hid from mine eyes.
Yeyote atakaye tamka baraka juu ya nchi atabarikiwa na mimi, Mungu wa kweli. Yeyote achukuae kiapo juu ya nchi anaapa na mimi, Mungu wa kweli, kwa sababu matatizo ya nyuma yatasaulika, maana yatafichwa machoni pangu.
17 For, behold me! Creating new heavens, and a new earth, —And the former shall not be mentioned, neither shall they come up on the heart,
Maana tazama, Ninakaribia kuumba mbingu mpya na nchi mpya; na mambo ya kale hayatakumbukwa tena wala kufikiriwa katika akili.
18 But joy ye and exult, perpetually, in what I am about to create, —For, behold me! Creating Jerusalem an exultation and Her People a joy;
Lakini mtakuwa na furaha na kushangilia daima kwa nitakachokiumba. Tazama, Ninakaribia kuumba Yerusalemu mpya kama furaha na watu wake wenye furaha.
19 Therefore will I Exult in Jerusalem, and Joy in my People, —And there shall be heard in her, no more The sound of weeping, or the sound of a cry:
Nitafurahia juu ya Yerusalemu watu wangu; kuomboleza na kilio cha dhiki akitasikika tena ndani yake.
20 There shall be thenceforward, no more, A suckling of a few days, or an elder Who filleth not up his days, —But, a youth a hundred years old, may die, Yea a sinner a hundred years old, shall be accursed,
Hakuna tena mtoto atakayeishi pale japo kwa siku chache; wala mzee kufa kabla ya mda wake. Yule atakayekufa katika umri wa miaka mia moja atachukuliwa kama mtu mdogo. Yeyote ambaye atashindwa kufikia umri wa miaka mia moja atachukuliwa kama laana.
21 Then shall they build houses and dwell in them, —And plant vineyards and eat the fruit of them;
Watazijenga nyumba na kukaa huko, na watapanda mizabibu na kula matunda yake.
22 They shall not build, and another, dwell, They shall not plant, and, another, eat, —For as the days of a tree, shall be the days of my people, And, the work of their own hands, shall my chosen ones, use to the full:
Hawatajenga nyumba na wengine waishi humo; hawatapanda, na wengine wale; maana kama siku za miti zitakuwa siku za watu wangu. Watu wangu wataishi kikamilifu kwa kazi ya mikono yao.
23 They shall not labour in vain, Nor have children for terror, —For the seed of the blessed ones of Yahweh, shall they be, And their offspring, with them.
Hawatafanya kazi bure, wala kuzaa kwa kusikitishwa. Maana ni watoto wa waliobarikiwa na Yahwe, pamoj na koo zao.
24 And it shall come to pass—That before they call, I, will answer, And while yet they are speaking, I, will hear.
Kabla hawajaita, nitaitika; na wakati wanaendele kuzungumza, ntisikia. Mbwa mwitu na kondoo watachungwa pamoja, na simba atakula majani kama ng'ombe; lakini udongo utakuwa chakula cha nyoka.
25 The wolf and the lamb, shall feed, in unity, And, the lion, as an ox, shall eat straw; But as for the serpent, dust, shall be his food: They shall not harm—Nor shall they destroy, In all my holy mountain, saith Yahweh.
Hawataumiza tena wala kuharibujuu ya mlima wangu mtakatifu,'' asema Yahwe.
