Isaiah 65
1 I have let myself be consulted by them who had not asked, I have suffered myself to be found by them who had not sought me, —I have said, Here I am! Here I am! Unto a nation that had not been called by my name,
੧ਜੋ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪੁੱਛਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਨ, ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਪਰਗਟ ਕੀਤਾ, ਜੋ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਭਾਲਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਨ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਲੱਭ ਲਿਆ, ਇੱਕ ਕੌਮ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਜੋ ਮੇਰਾ ਨਾਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੈਂਦੀ ਸੀ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਂ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਵੇਖੋ, ਮੈਂ ਹਾਂ, ਮੈਂ ਹਾਂ।”
2 I have spread out my hands all the day, Unto a rebellious people, —Who walk In the way that is not good, After their own devices.
੨ਮੈਂ ਸਾਰਾ ਦਿਨ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਦਰੋਹੀ ਪਰਜਾ ਲਈ ਪਸਾਰਿਆ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਬੁਰੇ ਰਾਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੀ ਖ਼ਿਆਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਚੱਲਦੇ ਹਨ, -
3 The people who are provoking me to anger to my face continually, —Sacrificing in gardens, and Burning incense upon bricks;
੩ਇੱਕ ਪਰਜਾ ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਹੀ ਬਾਗ਼ਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਲੀਆਂ ਚੜ੍ਹਾ ਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਟਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਧੂਪ ਧੁਖਾ ਕੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਭੜਕਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
4 Who tarry among graves, And in the secret places, do lodge, Who eat the flesh of swine, And the broth of refuse things is in their vessels, —
੪ਜਿਹੜੇ ਕਬਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਗੁੱਝਿਆਂ ਥਾਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਾਤ ਕੱਟਦੇ ਹਨ, ਜਿਹੜੇ ਸੂਰ ਦਾ ਮਾਸ ਖਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਗੰਦੀਆਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਦਾ ਸ਼ੋਰਾ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਭਾਂਡਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ,
5 Who say—Draw near by thyself, Do not approach with me, For I am holier than thou! These, are A smoke in my nostrils, A fire, burning all the day.
੫ਜਿਹੜੇ ਆਖਦੇ ਹਨ, ਤੂੰ ਇਕੱਲਾ ਰਹਿ, ਮੇਰੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਨਾ ਆ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਤੋਂ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਹਾਂ। ਇਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਨੱਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਧੂੰਏਂ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਅੱਗ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਹਨ, ਜੋ ਸਾਰਾ ਦਿਨ ਬਲਦੀ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ!
6 Lo! it is written before me, —I will not keep silence, But I have recompensed, and will recompense into their bosom:
੬ਵੇਖੋ, ਮੇਰੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਇਹ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਹੈ, ਮੈਂ ਚੁੱਪ ਨਾ ਰਹਾਂਗਾ ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਬਦਲਾ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ, ਹਾਂ, ਮੈਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੱਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਦਲਾ ਪਾਵਾਂਗਾ,
7 Your own iniquities, And the, iniquities of your fathers together, Saith Yahweh, Who have burned incense upon the mountains, And upon the hills, have reproached me, —Therefore will I measure their former work into their bosom.
੭ਤੁਹਾਡੀਆਂ ਬਦੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਬਦਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪੁਰਖਿਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਬਦੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਬਦਲਾ ਵੀ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਪਹਾੜਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਧੂਪ ਧੁਖਾਇਆ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਟਿੱਬਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਕੁਫ਼ਰ ਬਕਿਆ ਹੈ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਫਲ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੱਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਿਣ ਕੇ ਪਾਵਾਂਗਾ।
8 Thus, saith Yahweh—As, new wine, is found, in the cluster, And one saith, Do not destroy it, for a blessing is in it, So, will I do for the sake of my servants, That I may not destroy the whole [nation];
੮ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਵੇਂ ਅੰਗੂਰ ਦੇ ਗੁੱਛੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਵੀਂ ਮੈਅ ਭਰ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਲੋਕ ਆਖਦੇ ਹਨ, ਇਹ ਦਾ ਨਾਸ ਨਾ ਕਰੋ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਰਕਤ ਹੈ, ਉਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੀ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਦਾਸਾਂ ਦੀ ਖ਼ਾਤਰ ਵਰਤਾਂਗਾ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਨਾਸ ਨਾ ਕਰਾਂ।
9 Therefore will I bring forth Out of Jacob, a seed, and Out of Judah, an inheritor of my mountains, That my chosen ones may inherit it, And, my servants, dwell there;
੯ਮੈਂ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਵੰਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਬਤ ਦਾ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਕੱਢਾਂਗਾ, ਮੇਰੇ ਚੁਣੇ ਹੋਏ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਅਧਿਕਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੈਣਗੇ, ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਦਾਸ ਉੱਥੇ ਵੱਸਣਗੇ।
10 Then shall, Sharon, become, a fold for flocks, And the vale of Achor for the lying down of herds, —For my people who have sought me.
੧੦ਮੇਰੀ ਪਰਜਾ ਲਈ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਭਾਲਿਆ ਹੈ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲਈ ਸ਼ਾਰੋਨ ਇੱਜੜਾਂ ਦਾ ਵਾੜਾ ਅਤੇ ਆਕੋਰ ਦੀ ਘਾਟੀ ਚੌਣੇ ਦੇ ਬੈਠਣ ਦਾ ਥਾਂ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।
11 But, ye are they—Who forsake Yahweh Who forget my holy mountain—Who prepare, for Fortune, a table and Who fill for Destiny, mixed wine;
੧੧ਪਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜੋ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਤਿਆਗਦੇ ਹੋ, ਜੋ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਪਰਬਤ ਨੂੰ ਭੁਲਾਉਂਦੇ ਹੋ, ਜੋ ਕਿਸਮਤ ਦੀ ਦੇਵੀ ਲਈ ਮੇਜ਼ ਸੁਆਰਦੇ ਹੋ, ਅਤੇ ਭਾਗ ਦੀ ਦੇਵੀ ਲਈ ਰਲਵੀਂ ਮਧ ਭਰਦੇ ਹੋ,
12 Therefore will I destine you to the sword, And, ye all, to the slaughter, shall bow down. Because I called and ye answered not, I spake, and ye hearkened not, —But did that which was wicked in mine eyes, And of that wherein I delighted not, ye made choice,
੧੨ਮੈਂ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਭਾਗ ਬਣਾਵਾਂਗਾ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਵੱਢੇ ਜਾਣ ਲਈ ਝੁੱਕ ਜਾਓਗੇ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਬੁਲਾਇਆ ਪਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉੱਤਰ ਨਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਮੈਂ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਪਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਨਾ ਸੁਣੀ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੀ ਨਿਗਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਦੀ ਕੀਤੀ, ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪਸੰਦ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ, ਉਹ ਹੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਚੁਣਿਆ।
13 Therefore, Thus, saith My Lord, Yahweh, —Lo! my servants, shall eat but, ye, shall be famished, Lo! my servants, shall drink but, ye shall be thirsty, —Lo! my servants, shall rejoice but ye, shall turn pale;
੧੩ਇਸ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਹ ਫ਼ਰਮਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਵੇਖੋ, ਮੇਰੇ ਦਾਸ ਖਾਣਗੇ ਪਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਭੁੱਖੇ ਰਹੋਗੇ, ਵੇਖੋ, ਮੇਰੇ ਦਾਸ ਪੀਣਗੇ ਪਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਤਿਹਾਏ ਰਹੋਗੇ, ਵੇਖੋ, ਮੇਰੇ ਦਾਸ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਮਨਾਉਣਗੇ ਪਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸ਼ਰਮਿੰਦੇ ਹੋਵੋਗੇ,
14 Lo! my servants, shall shout in triumph for mirth of heart But, ye, shall make outcry, for pain of heart, And for a breaking of spirit, shall ye howl.
੧੪ਵੇਖੋ, ਮੇਰੇ ਦਾਸ ਖੁਸ਼ ਦਿਲੀ ਨਾਲ ਜੈਕਾਰੇ ਗਜਾਉਣਗੇ, ਪਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸੋਗ ਨਾਲ ਚਿੱਲਾਓਗੇ, ਅਤੇ ਦੁਖੀ ਆਤਮਾ ਨਾਲ ਚੀਕਾਂ ਮਾਰੋਗੇ!
15 So shall ye leave your name for an oath, to my chosen ones, —So then My Lord Yahweh, will slay thee, —And his servants, will he, call by another name:
੧੫ਮੇਰੇ ਚੁਣੇ ਹੋਏ ਲੋਕ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਨਾਮ ਲੈ-ਲੈ ਕੇ ਸਰਾਪ ਦੇਣਗੇ, ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਮਰਵਾ ਸੁੱਟੇਗਾ, ਪਰ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਦਾਸਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੂਜੇ ਨਾਮ ਤੋਂ ਬੁਲਾਵੇਗਾ।
16 So that he who blesseth himself in the earth, Will bless himself in the God of faithfulness, And he who sweareth in the earth Will swear by the God of faithfulness—Because the former troubles have been forgotten, and Because they are hid from mine eyes.
੧੬ਜੋ ਕੋਈ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਅਸੀਸ ਦੇਵੇ, ਉਹ ਸਚਿਆਈ ਦੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਅਸੀਸ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ, ਜੋ ਕੋਈ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਸਹੁੰ ਖਾਵੇ, ਉਹ ਸਚਿਆਈ ਦੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਸਹੁੰ ਖਾਵੇਗਾ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਦੁੱਖ ਭੁਲਾਏ ਜਾਣਗੇ, ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਲੁਕਾਏ ਜਾਣਗੇ।
17 For, behold me! Creating new heavens, and a new earth, —And the former shall not be mentioned, neither shall they come up on the heart,
੧੭ਵੇਖੋ, ਮੈਂ ਨਵਾਂ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਨਵੀਂ ਧਰਤੀ ਉਤਪੰਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਅਤੇ ਪਹਿਲੀਆਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਯਾਦ ਨਾ ਰਹਿਣਗੀਆਂ, ਸਗੋਂ ਸੋਚ-ਵਿਚਾਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਨਾ ਚੜ੍ਹਨਗੀਆਂ।
18 But joy ye and exult, perpetually, in what I am about to create, —For, behold me! Creating Jerusalem an exultation and Her People a joy;
੧੮ਪਰ ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਮੈਂ ਉਤਪੰਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜੁੱਗੋ-ਜੁੱਗ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਮਨਾਓ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਗ-ਬਾਗ ਹੋਵੋ, ਵੇਖੋ, ਮੈਂ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਲਈ ਅਨੰਦ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਪਰਜਾ ਲਈ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਉਤਪੰਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
19 Therefore will I Exult in Jerusalem, and Joy in my People, —And there shall be heard in her, no more The sound of weeping, or the sound of a cry:
੧੯ਮੈਂ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਤੋਂ ਅਨੰਦ ਹੋਵਾਂਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਰਜਾ ਤੋਂ ਖੁਸ਼ ਹੋਵਾਂਗਾ, ਉਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਫੇਰ ਰੋਣ ਦੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਜਾਂ ਦੁਹਾਈ ਦੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਸੁਣਾਈ ਨਾ ਦੇਵੇਗੀ,
20 There shall be thenceforward, no more, A suckling of a few days, or an elder Who filleth not up his days, —But, a youth a hundred years old, may die, Yea a sinner a hundred years old, shall be accursed,
੨੦ਉੱਥੇ ਫੇਰ ਕੋਈ ਥੋੜ੍ਹੇ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਬੱਚਾ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ, ਨਾ ਕੋਈ ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗ ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਦਿਨ ਪੂਰੇ ਨਾ ਕੀਤੇ ਹੋਣ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਸੌ ਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਉਮਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਰੇਗਾ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਬੱਚਾ ਹੀ ਮੰਨਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ, ਪਰ ਸੌ ਸਾਲ ਦਾ ਪਾਪੀ ਸਰਾਪੀ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
21 Then shall they build houses and dwell in them, —And plant vineyards and eat the fruit of them;
੨੧ਉਹ ਘਰ ਬਣਾਉਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਸਣਗੇ, ਉਹ ਅੰਗੂਰੀ ਬਾਗ਼ ਲਾਉਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਫਲ ਖਾਣਗੇ।
22 They shall not build, and another, dwell, They shall not plant, and, another, eat, —For as the days of a tree, shall be the days of my people, And, the work of their own hands, shall my chosen ones, use to the full:
੨੨ਅਜਿਹਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਅਤੇ ਦੂਜਾ ਵੱਸੇ, ਜਾਂ ਉਹ ਲਾਉਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਦੂਜਾ ਖਾਵੇ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਮੇਰੀ ਪਰਜਾ ਦੇ ਦਿਨ ਤਾਂ ਰੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਰਗੇ ਹੋਣਗੇ, ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਚੁਣੇ ਹੋਏ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਲੰਮੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੱਕ ਅਨੰਦ ਮਾਣਨਗੇ।
23 They shall not labour in vain, Nor have children for terror, —For the seed of the blessed ones of Yahweh, shall they be, And their offspring, with them.
੨੩ਉਹ ਵਿਅਰਥ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਨਾ ਕਰਨਗੇ, ਨਾ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ ਕਲੇਸ਼ ਲਈ ਜੰਮੇਗੀ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਮੁਬਾਰਕ ਅੰਸ ਹੋਣਗੇ।
24 And it shall come to pass—That before they call, I, will answer, And while yet they are speaking, I, will hear.
੨੪ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੁਕਾਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਉੱਤਰ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਅਜੇ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਣਗੇ, ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਸੁਣ ਲਵਾਂਗਾ।
25 The wolf and the lamb, shall feed, in unity, And, the lion, as an ox, shall eat straw; But as for the serpent, dust, shall be his food: They shall not harm—Nor shall they destroy, In all my holy mountain, saith Yahweh.
੨੫ਬਘਿਆੜ ਅਤੇ ਲੇਲਾ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਚਰਨਗੇ, ਅਤੇ ਬੱਬਰ ਸ਼ੇਰ ਬਲ਼ਦ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਘਾਹ ਖਾਵੇਗਾ, ਸੱਪ ਦਾ ਭੋਜਨ ਮਿੱਟੀ ਹੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ, ਮੇਰੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਪਰਬਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਾ ਉਹ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਦੁੱਖ ਦੇਣਗੇ, ਨਾ ਨਾਸ ਕਰਨਗੇ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਫ਼ਰਮਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
