Isaiah 65
1 I have let myself be consulted by them who had not asked, I have suffered myself to be found by them who had not sought me, —I have said, Here I am! Here I am! Unto a nation that had not been called by my name,
૧“જેઓ મને પૂછતા નહોતા તેઓ મારે વિષે તપાસ કરે છે; જેઓ મને શોધતા નહોતા તેઓને મળવા હું તૈયાર હતો. જે પ્રજાએ મને નામ લઈને બોલાવ્યો નહિ તેને મેં કહ્યું, ‘હું આ રહ્યો!
2 I have spread out my hands all the day, Unto a rebellious people, —Who walk In the way that is not good, After their own devices.
૨જે માર્ગ સારો નથી તે પર જેઓ ચાલે છે, પોતાના વિચારો અને યોજનાઓ પ્રમાણે જેઓ ચાલ્યા છે! એ હઠીલા લોકોને વધાવી લેવા મેં આખો દિવસ મારા હાથ ફેલાવ્યા.
3 The people who are provoking me to anger to my face continually, —Sacrificing in gardens, and Burning incense upon bricks;
૩તે એવા લોકો છે જે નિત્ય મને નારાજ કરે છે, તેઓ બગીચાઓમાં જઈને બલિદાનનું અર્પણ કરે છે અને ઈંટોની વેદી પર ધૂપ ચઢાવે છે.
4 Who tarry among graves, And in the secret places, do lodge, Who eat the flesh of swine, And the broth of refuse things is in their vessels, —
૪તેઓ રાત્રે કબરોમાં બેસી રહીને રાતવાસો કરે છે તેઓ ભૂંડનું માંસ ખાય છે તેની સાથે ધિક્કારપાત્ર વસ્તુઓનો સેરવો તેઓના પાત્રોમાં હોય છે.
5 Who say—Draw near by thyself, Do not approach with me, For I am holier than thou! These, are A smoke in my nostrils, A fire, burning all the day.
૫તેઓ કહે છે, ‘દૂર રહો, મારી પાસે આવશો નહિ, કેમ કે હું તમારા કરતાં પવિત્ર છું.’ આ વસ્તુઓ મારા નસકોરામાં ધુમાડા સમાન, આખા દિવસ બળતા અગ્નિ જેવી છે.
6 Lo! it is written before me, —I will not keep silence, But I have recompensed, and will recompense into their bosom:
૬જુઓ, એ મારી આગળ લખેલું છે: હું તેઓને એનો બદલો વાળ્યા વિના, શાંત બેસી રહેનાર નથી; હું તેઓને બદલો વાળી આપીશ.
7 Your own iniquities, And the, iniquities of your fathers together, Saith Yahweh, Who have burned incense upon the mountains, And upon the hills, have reproached me, —Therefore will I measure their former work into their bosom.
૭હું તેઓનાં પાપોને તથા તેઓના પૂર્વજોનાં પાપોનો બદલો વાળી આપીશ,” એમ યહોવાહ કહે છે. “જેઓએ પર્વતો પર ધૂપ બાળ્યો છે અને ટેકરીઓ પર મારી નિંદા કરી તેનો બદલો વાળીશ. વળી હું તેઓની અગાઉની કરણીઓને તેઓના ખોળામાં માપી આપીશ.”
8 Thus, saith Yahweh—As, new wine, is found, in the cluster, And one saith, Do not destroy it, for a blessing is in it, So, will I do for the sake of my servants, That I may not destroy the whole [nation];
૮આ યહોવાહ કહે છે: “જેમ દ્રાક્ષનાં ઝૂમખાંમાં નવો દ્રાક્ષારસ મળે છે, ત્યારે કોઈ કહે છે, ‘તેનો નાશ કરશો નહિ, કેમ કે તેમાં રસ છે,’ તેમ હું મારા સેવકોને માટે કરીશ, જેથી તેઓ સર્વનો નાશ ન થાય.
9 Therefore will I bring forth Out of Jacob, a seed, and Out of Judah, an inheritor of my mountains, That my chosen ones may inherit it, And, my servants, dwell there;
૯હું યાકૂબનાં સંતાન અને યહૂદિયાનાં સંતાનોને લાવીશ, તેઓ મારા પર્વતોનો વારસો પામશે. મારા પસંદ કરેલા લોકો તેનો વારસો પામશે અને મારા સેવકો ત્યાં વસશે.
10 Then shall, Sharon, become, a fold for flocks, And the vale of Achor for the lying down of herds, —For my people who have sought me.
૧૦જે મારા લોકોએ મને શોધ્યો છે, તેઓને માટે શારોનનાં ઘેટાંના ટોળાંના બીડ સમાન અને આખોરની ખીણ જાનવરોનું વિશ્રામસ્થાન થશે.
11 But, ye are they—Who forsake Yahweh Who forget my holy mountain—Who prepare, for Fortune, a table and Who fill for Destiny, mixed wine;
૧૧પણ તમે જેઓ યહોવાહનો ત્યાગ કરનારા છો, જે મારા પવિત્ર પર્વતને વીસરી ગયા છો, જે ભાગ્યદેવતાને માટે મેજ પાથરો છો અને વિધાતાની આગળ મિશ્ર દ્રાક્ષારસ ધરો છો
12 Therefore will I destine you to the sword, And, ye all, to the slaughter, shall bow down. Because I called and ye answered not, I spake, and ye hearkened not, —But did that which was wicked in mine eyes, And of that wherein I delighted not, ye made choice,
૧૨તેઓને એટલે તમને તલવારને માટે હું નિર્માણ કરીશ અને તમે સર્વ સંહારની આગળ ઘૂંટણે પડશો, કારણ કે જ્યારે મેં તમને હાંક મારી ત્યારે તમે ઉત્તર આપ્યો નહિ; જયારે હું બોલ્યો ત્યારે તમે સાંભળ્યું નહિ; પણ તેને બદલે, મારી દૃષ્ટિમાં જે ખરાબ હતું તે તમે કર્યું અને હું જે ચાહતો નહોતો તે તમે પસંદ કર્યું.”
13 Therefore, Thus, saith My Lord, Yahweh, —Lo! my servants, shall eat but, ye, shall be famished, Lo! my servants, shall drink but, ye shall be thirsty, —Lo! my servants, shall rejoice but ye, shall turn pale;
૧૩આ પ્રભુ યહોવાહ કહે છે: જુઓ, મારા સેવકો ખાશે, પણ તમે ભૂખ્યા રહેશો; જુઓ, મારા સેવકો પીશે, પણ તમે તરસ્યા રહેશો; જુઓ, મારા સેવકો આનંદ કરશે, પણ તમે લજ્જિત થશો.
14 Lo! my servants, shall shout in triumph for mirth of heart But, ye, shall make outcry, for pain of heart, And for a breaking of spirit, shall ye howl.
૧૪જુઓ, મારા સેવકો હૃદયના ઉમળકાથી હર્ષનાદ કરશે, પણ તમે હૃદયની પીડાને લીધે રડશો અને આત્મા કચડાઈ જવાને લીધે વિલાપ કરશો.
15 So shall ye leave your name for an oath, to my chosen ones, —So then My Lord Yahweh, will slay thee, —And his servants, will he, call by another name:
૧૫તમે તમારું નામ મારા પસંદ કરાયેલાઓને શાપ આપવા માટે મૂકી જશો; અને હું, પ્રભુ યહોવાહ, તમને મારી નાખીશ, હું મારા સેવકોને બીજા નામથી બોલાવીશ.
16 So that he who blesseth himself in the earth, Will bless himself in the God of faithfulness, And he who sweareth in the earth Will swear by the God of faithfulness—Because the former troubles have been forgotten, and Because they are hid from mine eyes.
૧૬જે કોઈ પૃથ્વી પર આશીર્વાદ માગશે તે મારા, એટલે સત્યના ઈશ્વર દ્વારા આશીર્વાદ પામશે. જે કોઈ પૃથ્વી પર શપથ લેશે તે મારા, એટલે સત્યના ઈશ્વરને નામે શપથ લેશે, કારણ કે અગાઉની વિપત્તિઓ વીસરાઈ ગઈ છે, કેમ કે તેઓ મારી આંખોથી સંતાડવામાં આવી હશે.
17 For, behold me! Creating new heavens, and a new earth, —And the former shall not be mentioned, neither shall they come up on the heart,
૧૭કેમ કે જુઓ, હું નવાં આકાશ અને નવી પૃથ્વી ઉત્પન્ન કરનાર છું; અને અગાઉની બિનાઓનું સ્મરણ કરવામાં આવશે નહિ કે તેઓ મનમાં આવશે નહિ.
18 But joy ye and exult, perpetually, in what I am about to create, —For, behold me! Creating Jerusalem an exultation and Her People a joy;
૧૮પણ હું જે ઉત્પન્ન કરવા જઈ રહ્યો છું, તેનાથી તમે સર્વકાળ આનંદ કરશો અને હરખાશો. જુઓ, હું યરુશાલેમને આનંદમય તથા તેના લોકોને હર્ષમય ઉત્પન્ન કરું છું.
19 Therefore will I Exult in Jerusalem, and Joy in my People, —And there shall be heard in her, no more The sound of weeping, or the sound of a cry:
૧૯હું યરુશાલેમથી આનંદ પામીશ અને મારા લોકોથી હરાખાઈશ; તેમાં ફરીથી રુદન કે વિલાપનો અવાજ સાંભળવામાં આવશે નહિ.
20 There shall be thenceforward, no more, A suckling of a few days, or an elder Who filleth not up his days, —But, a youth a hundred years old, may die, Yea a sinner a hundred years old, shall be accursed,
૨૦ત્યાં ફરી કદી નવજાત બાળક થોડા દિવસ જીવીને મૃત્યુ પામશે નહિ; કે કોઈ વૃદ્ધ માણસ પોતાના સમય અગાઉ મૃત્યુ પામશે નહિ.
21 Then shall they build houses and dwell in them, —And plant vineyards and eat the fruit of them;
૨૧તેઓ ઘર બાંધશે અને તેમાં રહેશે અને તેઓ દ્રાક્ષવાડીઓ રોપશે અને તેનાં ફળ ખાવા પામશે.
22 They shall not build, and another, dwell, They shall not plant, and, another, eat, —For as the days of a tree, shall be the days of my people, And, the work of their own hands, shall my chosen ones, use to the full:
૨૨તેઓ ઘર બાંધશે અને તેમાં બીજા વસશે નહિ; તેઓ રોપે અને બીજા ખાય, એવું થશે નહિ, કેમ કે વૃક્ષના આયુષ્યની જેમ મારા લોકોનું આયુષ્ય થશે. મારા પસંદ કરાયેલા પોતાના હાથોનાં કામોનાં ફળનો ભોગવટો લાંબા કાળ સુધી કરશે.
23 They shall not labour in vain, Nor have children for terror, —For the seed of the blessed ones of Yahweh, shall they be, And their offspring, with them.
૨૩તેઓ નકામી મહેનત કરશે નહિ, કે નિરાશાને જન્મ આપશે નહિ. કેમ કે તેઓનાં સંતાનો અને તેઓની સાથે તેઓના વંશજો, યહોવાહ દ્વારા આશીર્વાદ પામેલા છે.
24 And it shall come to pass—That before they call, I, will answer, And while yet they are speaking, I, will hear.
૨૪તેઓ હાંક મારે, તે અગાઉ હું તેઓને ઉત્તર આપીશ; અને હજુ તેઓ બોલતા હશે, એટલામાં હું તેઓનું સાંભળીશ.
25 The wolf and the lamb, shall feed, in unity, And, the lion, as an ox, shall eat straw; But as for the serpent, dust, shall be his food: They shall not harm—Nor shall they destroy, In all my holy mountain, saith Yahweh.
૨૫વરુ તથા ઘેટું સાથે ચરશે અને સિંહ બળદની જેમ ઘાસ ખાશે; પણ ધૂળ સાપનું ભોજન થશે. મારા આખા પવિત્ર પર્વતમાં તેઓ ઉપદ્રવ કે વિનાશ કરશે નહિ.” એવું યહોવાહ કહે છે.
