Isaiah 57
1 The righteous one, hath perished, And not a man, hath taken it to heart—Yea the men of lovingkindness, have been withdrawn No one considering, That from the presence of calamity, hath the righteous been withdrawn.
౧నీతిమంతులు చనిపోతున్నారు గానీ ఎవరూ పట్టించుకోవడంలేదు. నిబంధన ప్రజలు చనిపోతున్నారు గానీ ఎవరికీ అర్థం కావడం లేదు. కీడు చూడకుండా నీతిమంతులను తీసివేయడం జరుగుతూ ఉంది.
2 He entereth into peace, Let them rest upon their couches, —Each one who went on a straight path.
౨అతడు విశ్రాంతిలో ప్రవేశిస్తున్నాడు. యథార్ధంగా ప్రవర్తించేవారు తమ పడకల మీద విశ్రాంతి తీసుకుంటారు.
3 But, ye, …draw near hither, Ye sons of divination, —Ye seed of an adulterer when your mother committed unchastity!
౩మంత్రకత్తె కొడుకులారా, వ్యభిచార సంతానమా, వేశ్యాసంతానమా, మీరిక్కడికి రండి!
4 Against whom would ye disport yourselves? Against whom would ye widen the mouth and lengthen the tongue, —Are not, ye, Children of transgression, A Seed of falsehood.
౪మీరెవర్ని ఎగతాళి చేస్తున్నారు? ఎవర్ని చూసి నోరు తెరచి నాలుక చాస్తున్నారు? మీరు తిరుగుబాటు చేసేవారూ మోసగాళ్ళూ కారా?
5 Who inflame yourselves With the terebinths, Under every green tree—Slaying the children, In the torrent-valleys, Under the clefts of the crags:
౫సింధూర వృక్షాల కింద, పచ్చని ప్రతి చెట్టు కింద, కామంతో రగిలిపోయే మీరు, లోయల్లో రాతిసందుల కింద, మీరు మీ పిల్లలను చంపుతున్నారు.
6 Among the smooth stones of the torrent—valley, is thy portion. They, they, are thy lot; Even to them, hast thou Poured out a drink-offering. Caused to ascend a gift. Over these things, can I cease to grieve?
౬లోయలోని రాళ్ళే మీ భాగం. అవే మీ వంతు. వాటికే పానార్పణ పోస్తున్నారు. వాటికే నైవేద్యం అర్పిస్తున్నారు. వీటిలో నేను ఆనందించాలా?
7 On a mountain high and uplifted, hast thou set thy couch, —Even thither, hast thou gone up, to offer sacrifice;
౭ఉన్నత పర్వతం మీద నీ పరుపు వేసుకున్నావు. బలులు అర్పించడానికి నువ్వు అక్కడికే ఎక్కి పోయావు.
8 And behind the door and the post, hast thou set thy symbol, For, with another than me, hast thou uncovered thyself and gone up—Hast widened thy couch, And hast solemnised for thyself a covenant from them, Thou hast loved their couch a sign, hast thou seen;
౮తలుపు వెనుక ద్వారబంధాల వెనుక నీ గుర్తులు ఉంచావు. నన్ను వదిలిపెట్టి బట్టలు ఊడదీసి మంచమెక్కావు. నీ పరుపు వెడల్పు చేసుకున్నావు. నువ్వు వాళ్ళతో నిబంధన చేసుకున్నావు. వాళ్ళ మంచాలంటే నీకిష్టం. నువ్వు వాళ్ళ మానం చూశావు.
9 And hast gone to the king with oil, And hast multiplied thy perfumes, —And hast sent thy messengers afar, And…lowered thyself as far as hades! (Sheol h7585)
౯నువ్వు నూనె తీసుకుని రాజు దగ్గరికి వెళ్లావు. ఎన్నో పరిమళ ద్రవ్యాలను తీసుకెళ్ళావు. నీ రాయబారులను దూరప్రాంతాలకు పంపుతావు. పాతాళానికి దిగిపోయావు. (Sheol h7585)
10 With the length of thy journey, thou wast wearied, Thou didst not say, Hopeless! The reviving of thy power, thou didst find, For this cause, hast thou not become sick.
౧౦నీ దూర ప్రయాణాలతో నువ్వు అలసిపోయావు. అయితే “అది వ్యర్ధం” అని ఎన్నడూ అనలేదు. నువ్వు నీ చేతుల్లో బలం తెచ్చుకున్నావు. కాబట్టి నువ్వు నీరసించిపోలేదు.
11 Whom then hadst thou been anxious about and feared that thou shouldest speak falsely, When me, thou rememberedst not, caredst not for me? Did not, I, keep silence even from age-past times, Although me, thou wouldest not fear?
౧౧ఎవరికి జడిసి, భయపడి అంత మోసం చేశావు? నా గురించి ఆలోచించలేదు, నన్ను జ్ఞాపకం చేసుకోలేదు. చాలా కాలం నేను మౌనంగా లేను గదా! అయితే నువ్వు నన్నంతగా పట్టించుకోలేదు.
12 I, will expose thy righteousness, —And thy works—but they will not profit thee!
౧౨నీ నీతి ఎలాంటిదో నేనే వెల్లడిచేస్తాను. వాటివలన నీకేమీ ప్రయోజనం ఉండదు.
13 When thou makest outcry, let thy gathered throngs deliver thee! But all of them, shall A wind, catch up—A breath, take away! Whereas he that seeketh refuge in me, Shall inherit the land, And possess my holy mountain.
౧౩నువ్వు కేకలు పెట్టేటప్పుడు నీ విగ్రహాల గుంపు నిన్ను తప్పించాలి! వాటన్నిటినీ గాలి ఎగరగొట్టేస్తుంది. ఊపిరితో అవన్నీ కొట్టుకుపోతాయి. అయితే నన్ను నమ్ముకునేవారు దేశాన్ని స్వతంత్రించుకుంటారు. నా పరిశుద్ధ పర్వతాన్ని స్వాధీనం చేసుకుంటారు.
14 And one said—Cast ye up—cast ye up, prepare ye a way, —Lift the stumbling-block out of the way of my people.
౧౪ఆయన ఇలా అంటాడు. “కట్టండి, కట్టండి! దారి సిద్ధం చేయండి! నా ప్రజల దారిలో అడ్డంగా ఉన్న వాటిని తీసేయండి.”
15 For, thus, saith he that is high and lifted up—Inhabiting futurity, And, holy, is his name: A high and holy place, will I inhabit, Also with the crushed and lowly in spirit, To revive the spirit of the lowly, and To revive the heart of them who are crushed; —
౧౫ఎందుకంటే, మహా ఘనుడు, మహోన్నతుడు, పరిశుద్ధుడు, నిత్యనివాసి అయినవాడు ఇలా చెబుతున్నాడు. “నేను మహోన్నతమైన పరిశుద్ధ స్థలంలో నివసిస్తూ ఉన్నాను. అయినా, వినయంగల వారితో నలిగిన వారితో కూడా ఉంటాను. వినయం గలవారి ప్రాణాన్ని సేదదీర్చడానికీ నలిగినవారి ప్రాణాన్ని తెప్పరిల్లజేయడానికీ నేనున్నాను.
16 For not age-abidingly, will I contend, Nor perpetually, will I be wroth, —For, spirit, before me, would faint, Even the breathing souls, which, I, had made.
౧౬నేను ఎల్లప్పుడూ నిందించను. ఎప్పుడూ కోపంగా ఉండను. అలా ఉంటే మనిషి ఆత్మ నీరసించి పోతుంది. నేను సృష్టించిన మనుషులు నీరసించి పోతారు.
17 Because of his iniquitous gain, was I wroth—and smote him Hiding myself that I might be wroth, —But he went on turning aside in the way of his own heart.
౧౭అక్రమంగా సంపాదించిన అతని పాపాన్ని బట్టి నేను కోపపడి అతన్ని శిక్షించాను. నా ముఖాన్ని కోపంతో చాటు చేశాను. అయితే అతడు తనకిష్టమైన దారిలోకి తిరిగి వెళ్ళిపోయాడు.
18 His ways, have I beheld, That I might heal him, —And guide him, And restore consolations to him and to his mourners:
౧౮నేనతని ప్రవర్తన చూశాను కానీ అతన్ని బాగుచేస్తాను. అతనికి దారి చూపుతాను. అతన్నీ అతని కోసం దుఃఖించే వారినీ ఓదారుస్తాను.
19 Creating the fruit of the lips—Prosperity! Prosperity! For him that is far off and for him that is near saith Yahweh, So should I heal him.
౧౯వారికి కృతజ్ఞతాపూర్వకమైన పెదాలు ఇస్తాను. దూరంగా ఉన్నవారికీ దగ్గరగా ఉన్నవారికీ శాంతి సమాధానాలుంటాయి” అని యెహోవా చెబుతున్నాడు. “నేనే వారిని బాగుచేస్తాను”
20 But, the lawless, are like the sea when tossed, —For, rest, it cannot! But its waters toss out mire and dirt.
౨౦అయితే దుర్మార్గులు అటూ ఇటూ కొట్టుకునే సముద్రం లాంటి వారు. దాని నీళ్ళు, బురద పైకి తెస్తూ ఉంటుంది.
21 No well-being, saith my God, to the lawless!
౨౧“దుర్మార్గులకు ప్రశాంతత ఉండదు” అని దేవుడు చెబుతున్నాడు.
