< Isaiah 57 >
1 The righteous one, hath perished, And not a man, hath taken it to heart—Yea the men of lovingkindness, have been withdrawn No one considering, That from the presence of calamity, hath the righteous been withdrawn.
Ame dzɔdzɔe tsrɔ̃na, eye ame aɖeke mebua eŋu le eƒe dzi me o. Woɖea Mawumemewo ɖa, gake ame aɖeke mesea egɔme be ɖe woɖea ame dzɔdzɔewo ɖa be womagadze nu vɔ̃ɖi me o.
2 He entereth into peace, Let them rest upon their couches, —Each one who went on a straight path.
Ame siwo zɔna le dzɔdzɔenyenye me la yina ɖe ŋutifafa me, le ku me ke hã, wodzudzɔna.
3 But, ye, …draw near hither, Ye sons of divination, —Ye seed of an adulterer when your mother committed unchastity!
“Ke mite va afii, mi nyɔnunukala ƒe viwo. Mi ahasitɔwo kple gbolowo ƒe dzidzimeviwo!
4 Against whom would ye disport yourselves? Against whom would ye widen the mouth and lengthen the tongue, —Are not, ye, Children of transgression, A Seed of falsehood.
Ame ka ŋue miele fewu ɖum le? Ame ka ŋu mieke nu bãa ɖo hedo aɖe ɖe gota biɖaa na? Ɖe menye aglãdzelawo kple alakpatɔwo ƒe dzidzimeviwoe mienye oa?
5 Who inflame yourselves With the terebinths, Under every green tree—Slaying the children, In the torrent-valleys, Under the clefts of the crags:
Fieŋufieŋu le lãme na mi ɖe legbawo ŋu, le logotiwo kple ati dama ɖe sia ɖe te. Mietsɔa mia viwo sãa vɔe le balimewo kple agakpetowo te.
6 Among the smooth stones of the torrent—valley, is thy portion. They, they, are thy lot; Even to them, hast thou Poured out a drink-offering. Caused to ascend a gift. Over these things, can I cease to grieve?
Legba siwo le balime kple kpe zɔsrɔ̃ewo dome lae nye wò gomekpɔkpɔ. Woawoe nye tɔwò. Woawoe nèƒoa aha ɖi na, eye nètsɔa nuɖuvɔsa hã naa wo. Le nu siawo katã ta la, ɖe mazi kpia?
7 On a mountain high and uplifted, hast thou set thy couch, —Even thither, hast thou gone up, to offer sacrifice;
Èɖo aba ɖe togbɛ si kɔ bobobo la dzi. Afi mae nèyi hewɔ vɔsawo le.
8 And behind the door and the post, hast thou set thy symbol, For, with another than me, hast thou uncovered thyself and gone up—Hast widened thy couch, And hast solemnised for thyself a covenant from them, Thou hast loved their couch a sign, hast thou seen;
Ètsɔ wò trɔ̃subɔnuwo da ɖe wò ʋɔtruwo kple ʋɔtrutiwo megbe. Ègbe nu le gbɔnye. Èklo nu le wò aba dzi hede edzi, eye nèkekee ɖe edzi hebla enu kple ame siwo ƒe abawo nèlɔ̃, eye nèkpɔ woƒe amame.
9 And hast gone to the king with oil, And hast multiplied thy perfumes, —And hast sent thy messengers afar, And…lowered thyself as far as hades! (Sheol )
Èyi ɖe Molek gbɔ kple ami, eye nètsɔ ami ʋeʋĩwo kpe ɖe eŋu fũu. Èɖo wò ame dɔdɔwo ɖe didiƒe ke, eye wò ŋutɔ nèyi tsiẽƒe! (Sheol )
10 With the length of thy journey, thou wast wearied, Thou didst not say, Hopeless! The reviving of thy power, thou didst find, For this cause, hast thou not become sick.
Wò mɔwo na ɖeɖi te ŋuwò, gake mèdi be yeagblɔ be, ‘Wo katã nye tofloko’ o. Èkpɔ be wò ŋusẽ gaɖo yeye me, eya tae nu mete ŋuwò o.
11 Whom then hadst thou been anxious about and feared that thou shouldest speak falsely, When me, thou rememberedst not, caredst not for me? Did not, I, keep silence even from age-past times, Although me, thou wouldest not fear?
“Ame kae dzi ŋɔ na mi nenema, eye ame kae mievɔ̃ na nenema gbegbe be mieto nyateƒe nam o, eye mieɖo ŋku dzinye alo bu nu sia ŋuti le miaƒe dzi me o? Ɖe menye esi mezi kpi eteƒe didi tae mievɔ̃na nam oa?
12 I, will expose thy righteousness, —And thy works—but they will not profit thee!
Maɖe miaƒe dzɔdzɔenyenye kple miaƒe dɔwɔwɔwo ɖe go afia, ke womaɖe vi aɖeke na mi o.
13 When thou makest outcry, let thy gathered throngs deliver thee! But all of them, shall A wind, catch up—A breath, take away! Whereas he that seeketh refuge in me, Shall inherit the land, And possess my holy mountain.
Ne miedo ɣli be woakpe ɖe mia ŋu la, ekema mina miaƒe legba gbogboawo naxɔ na mi! Ya akplɔ wo katã adzoe, ne woɖo ƒuƒu teti ɖe wo la, wo katã woaƒo ya adzo; ke ame si tsɔm wɔ eƒe sitsoƒee la, anyi anyigba la ƒe dome, eye wòaxɔ nye to kɔkɔe la wòanye etɔ.”
14 And one said—Cast ye up—cast ye up, prepare ye a way, —Lift the stumbling-block out of the way of my people.
Woagblɔ be, “Mido mɔ, mido mɔ. Midzra mɔtata la dzi ɖo! Miɖe mɔxenuwo ɖa le mɔ me na nye dukɔ”,
15 For, thus, saith he that is high and lifted up—Inhabiting futurity, And, holy, is his name: A high and holy place, will I inhabit, Also with the crushed and lowly in spirit, To revive the spirit of the lowly, and To revive the heart of them who are crushed; —
elabena ale ame si nye gã, eye wòkɔ wu nuwo katã, ame si li tegbee, eye eƒe ŋkɔe nye Kɔkɔe la gblɔe nye esi, “Mele teƒe kɔkɔ si le kɔkɔe, gake meli kple ame si ƒe nu vɔ̃wo vee, eye wòbɔbɔ eɖokui ɖe anyi le gbɔgbɔ me be magbɔ agbe ame si bɔbɔ eɖokui ɖe anyi la ƒe gbɔgbɔ, eye magbɔ agbe ame si ƒe nu vɔ̃wo vee la ƒe dzi.
16 For not age-abidingly, will I contend, Nor perpetually, will I be wroth, —For, spirit, before me, would faint, Even the breathing souls, which, I, had made.
Nyemanɔ fɔ bum ɖaa alo ado dɔmedzoe ɣe sia ɣi o, ne menye nenema o la, nu ati kɔ na ame ƒe gbɔgbɔ le ŋkunye me, eye nu ate luʋɔ siwo mewɔ la ŋu.
17 Because of his iniquitous gain, was I wroth—and smote him Hiding myself that I might be wroth, —But he went on turning aside in the way of his own heart.
Nye dɔmedzoe fla le eƒe ŋubiabiã ƒe nu vɔ̃ ta. Mehe to nɛ, eye meɣla nye ŋkume ɖee le dziku me, ke hã la, egayi eƒe lɔlɔ̃nuwɔwɔ dzi.
18 His ways, have I beheld, That I might heal him, —And guide him, And restore consolations to him and to his mourners:
Mekpɔ eƒe mɔwo, gake mada gbe le eŋu. Mafia mɔe, eye magbugbɔ afa akɔ nɛ.
19 Creating the fruit of the lips—Prosperity! Prosperity! For him that is far off and for him that is near saith Yahweh, So should I heal him.
Matsɔ kafukafuha ade nu na Israel ƒe konyifalawo, eye ŋutifafa, ŋutifafa na ame siwo le kpuiƒe kple didiƒe siaa. Nye la, mayɔ dɔ wo katã.” Yehowae gblɔe.
20 But, the lawless, are like the sea when tossed, —For, rest, it cannot! But its waters toss out mire and dirt.
“Ke ame vɔ̃ɖiwo le abe atsiaƒu dzeagbo si mate ŋu anɔ anyi kpoo o la ene; esi ƒe ƒutsotsoewo le gbeɖuɖɔ kple ba ɖem ɖe go.”
21 No well-being, saith my God, to the lawless!
Nye Mawu be, “Ŋutifafa meli na ame vɔ̃ɖi la o.”
