Isaiah 55
1 Ho! every one that thirsteth! Come ye to the waters, Yea he that hath no money, —Come ye—buy corn, and eat, Yea come—buy corn without money, And without price, wine and milk,
“Duol, kamong tanan nga giuhaw, duol kamo sa tubig, ug kamo nga walay mga salapi, duol, palit ug kaon! Duol, palit kamo ug bino ug gatas nga walay salapi ug walay kantidad.
2 Wherefore should ye spend, Money, for that which is not bread? Or your labour, for that which, satisfieth not? Keep on hearkening unto me, And, so eat that which is good, And let your soul take exquisite delight in fatness:
Nganong gastohon man ninyo ang plata sa dili tinapay, ug nganong maghago man kamo sa dili makatagbaw? Paminaw gayod kanako ug kaona kung unsa ang maayo, ug kalipay sa inyong kaugalingong katambok.
3 Incline your ear, and come unto me, Hearken, That your soul, may live, —That I may solemnise for you a covenant age-abiding, The Lovingkindness to David, well-assured.
Paminaw ug duol kanako! Paminaw, aron mabuhi kamo! Maghimo ako ug walay kataposang kasabotan tali kaninyo: ang akong kasaligan, ang matinud-anon nga gugmang gisaad kang David.
4 Lo! As a witness to the peoples, have I given him, —As a leader and commander to the peoples:
Tan-awa, gibutang ko siya ingon nga saksi sa kanasoran, ingon nga pangulo ug komandante sa katawhan.
5 Lo! A nation thou shalt not know, shalt thou call, And, a nation which hath not known thee, unto thee, shall run, —For the sake of Yahweh thy God, And for the Holy One of Israel, because he hath adorned thee.
Tan-awa, tawgon ninyo ang kanasoran nga wala ninyo mailhi; ug modangop kaninyo ang kanasoran nga wala makaila kaninyo tungod kang Yahweh nga inyong Dios, ang Balaan sa Israel, nga maoy nahimaya kaninyo.”
6 Seek Yahweh while he may be found, —Call ye upon him while he is near:
Pangitaa si Yahweh samtang mahikaplagan pa siya; sangpita siya samtang anaa pa siya sa duol.
7 Let the lawless forsake his way, And the man of iniquity, his thoughts, —And let him return unto Yahweh That he may have compassion upon him, And unto our God, For he will abundantly pardon.
Pabiyaa ang daotan sa iyang agianan, ug ang tawo nga makasasala sa iyang hunahuna. Pabalika siya kang Yahweh, ug maluoy siya kaniya, ug sa atong Dios, nga madagayaong mopasaylo kaniya.
8 For, my thoughts, are not, your thoughts, Nor, your ways, my ways, —Declareth Yahweh.
“Kay ang akong hunahuna dili inyong hunahuna, ni ang inyong pamaagi sa akong pamaagi —mao kini ang gipahayag ni Yahweh—
9 For, higher, are the heavens than the earth, —So, higher, are My ways than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.
kay ingon nga ang kalangitan habog kay sa kalibotan, busa ang akong pamaagi mas labaw sa inyong mga pamaagi, ug ang akong hunahuna kay sa inyong hunahuna.
10 For, as the rain and the snow descend from the heavens. And thither, do not return, Except they have watered the earth. And caused it to bring forth and bud, —And given seed to the sower, and bread to the eater,
Kay ingon nga ang ulan ug niyebe mangahulog gikan sa langit ug dili na kini mobalik hinuon mopatubig kini sa yuta ug makapatubo ug makapaturok ug makahatag kini ug binhi ngadto sa mag-uuma nga maoy nagpugas ug makahatag sa tinapay ngadto sa mga mokaon,
11 So, shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth, It shall not return unto me void, —But shall accomplish that which I please, And shall prosper in that whereunto I have sent it.
busa sama usab sa akong pulong nga migula sa akong baba: dili kini mobalik kanako nga walay kapuslanan, apan matuman ang akong gitinguha, ug magmalamposon kini diin ko kini gipadala.
12 For with gladness shall ye come forth, And in peace, shall ye be led, —the mountains and the hills shall break out, before you, into shouts of triumph, And all the wild trees shall clap their hands:
Kay mogula kamong malipayon ug giyahan nga malinawon; mosinggit sa tumang kalipay ang kabukiran ug ang kabungtoran sa inyong atubangan, ug ang tanang kakahoyan sa kaumahan mopakpak sa ilang mga kamot.
13 Instead of the thorn-bush, shall come up the fir-tree, And instead of the nettle, shall come up the myrtle-tree, —So shall it become unto Yahweh, a Name, A Sign age-abiding, which shall not be cut off.
Imbis ang mga sampinit, motubo ang sipres; ug imbis nga briyer, motubo ang kahoy nga mirto, ug alang kini kang Yahweh, kay ang iyang ngalan, ingon nga timaan sa walay kataposan nga dili gayod mawagtang.”
