Isaiah 46
1 Bel, hath crouched, Nebo, is cowering, Their images, are delivered up to beast and to cattle, —The things ye carried about, are become a load, A burden, to the weary!
Bel bows down. Nebo stoops. Seus ídolos são transportados por animais, e sobre o gado. As coisas que você carregava são cargas pesadas, um fardo para os cansados.
2 They have cowered they have crouched at once, And they cannot rescue the burden, —But their own soul, into captivity, hath departed.
Eles se abaixam e se curvam juntos. Eles não puderam entregar o fardo, mas eles foram para o cativeiro.
3 Hearken unto me O house of Jacob, Even all the remnant of the house of Israel, —Who have been borne from birth, Who have been carried from nativity:
“Ouça-me, casa de Jacob, e todo o restante da casa de Israel, que foram transportados desde seu nascimento, que foram transportados do útero.
4 Even unto old age, I, am, the same, And unto grey hairs, I, will bear the burden, —I have made and, I, will carry, Yea, I, will bear the burden and will deliver,
Até a velhice eu sou ele, e até mesmo para os cabelos grisalhos eu os carregarei. Eu fiz, e vou suportar. Sim, eu vou carregar, e vou entregar.
5 To whom can ye liken me or make me equal? Or compare me, and we be like?
“Com quem você me comparará, e considere meu igual, e me comparar, como se fôssemos os mesmos?
6 They who pour gold out of a purse, And who weigh silver in a balance, —Who hire a goldsmith that he may make it into a GOD, They adore, yea they bow down;
Some derramar o ouro da bolsa, e pesar a prata na balança. Eles contratam um ourives, e ele o faz um deus. Eles caem... sim, eles adoram.
7 They carry him about on the shoulder They bear the burden of him—and set him in his place that he may stand, —Out of his place, will he not move, —Though one even make outcry unto him, he will not answer, Out of one’s trouble, he will not save him.
Eles a carregam no ombro. Eles o carregam, e o colocam em seu lugar, e ele fica ali. Ela não pode se mover de seu lugar. Sim, pode-se chorar para ele, mas ele não pode responder. Isso não pode salvá-lo de seus problemas.
8 Remember ye this and shew yourselves men, —Bring it back, ye transgressors, to your minds;
“Lembrem-se disto, e mostrem-se homens. Tragam isso à mente novamente, seus transgressores.
9 Remember ye the things named in advance from age-past times, —For, I, am, The Mighty One, and there is none else, The Adorable and there is none like me!
Lembre-se das antigas coisas de antigamente; pois eu sou Deus, e não há outro. Eu sou Deus, e não há nenhum como eu.
10 Declaring from the beginning, the latter end, And from olden time, that which had never been done, —Saying My purpose shall stand, and All my pleasure, will I perform;
Declaro o fim desde o início, e dos tempos antigos, coisas que ainda não são feitas. Eu digo: Meu conselho ficará de pé, e eu farei tudo o que me apetecer.
11 Calling, From the East, a Bird of Prey, From a far country, the Man I intended, —Yea I have spoken I will also bring it to pass, I have planned, I will also do it.
Eu chamo um pássaro esfomeado do leste, o homem do meu conselho de um país distante. Sim, eu já falei. Também vou fazer com que isso aconteça. Eu tenho planejado. Eu também o farei.
12 Hearken unto me, Ye valiant of heart, —Who are far away from righteousness:
Ouça-me, seu teimoso de coração, que estão longe de ser justos!
13 I have brought near my righteousness. It shall not be far away, And my deliverance, shall not linger, —But I will give In Zion, deliverance, To Israel, my glory.
Eu aproximo minha retidão. Não está muito longe, e minha salvação não vai esperar. Concederei a salvação a Zion, minha glória a Israel.
