< Isaiah 42 >

1 Lo! my Servant, I will uphold him, My chosen, well-pleased is my soul, —I have put my spirit upon him, Justice—to the nations, will he bring forth:
Adtoy, ti adipenko, ti pabpabilegek; ti pinilik, isuna a pakaragsakak. Inkabilko ti Espirituk kenkuana; iyegnanto ti kinalinteg kadagiti nasion.
2 He will not cry out nor will he speak loud, —Nor cause to be heard, in the street, his voice:
Saanto isuna nga agikkis wenno agpukkaw, wenno ipangngeg ti timekna kadagiti kalkalsada.
3 Cane that is crushed, will he not break, And wick that is fading, will he not quench, —Faithfully, will he bring forth justice:
Saanna a tukkolen ti naparpar a runo, ken ti nakudrep a pabilo ket saannanto nga iddepen; sipupudnonto nga ipatungpalna ti kinalinteg.
4 He will not fade, nor will he be crushed, Until he establish, in the earth, justice, And for his instruction, Coastlands, wait.
Saanto isuna a kumapsut wenno maupay agingga a naipasdeknan ti kinalinteg iti rabaw ti daga; ket aguray iti lintegna dagiti daga iti igid ti baybay.
5 Thus, saith GOD himself—Yahweh, —Creator of the heavens that stretched them forth, Out-spreader of earth, and the products thereof, —Giver of breath to the people thereon, And of spirit to them who walk therein,
Daytoy ti ibagbaga ti Dios a ni Yahweh, isuna a namarsua kadagiti langit ken nangukrad kadagitoy; isuna a nangukrad iti lubong ken mangmangted iti biag iti daytoy; isuna a mangmangted iti anges kadagiti tattao iti daytoy, ken biag kadagiti agnanaed iti daytoy;
6 I—Yahweh, have called thee in righteousness, And will firmly grasp thy hand, —And will keep thee And give thee—As the covenant of a people, As the light of nations:
“Siak a ni Yahweh, inayabanka iti kinalinteg ket kibinenkanto. Aywanankanto ken isaadkanto a kas katulagan kadagiti tattao, a kas lawag kadagiti Hentil,
7 To open eyes that are blind, —To bring forth Out of the dungeon the captive Out of the prison, the dwellers in darkness.
tapno luktam dagiti mata dagiti bulag, tapno wayawayaam dagiti balud manipud iti nasipnget a pagbaludan, ken dagiti agtugtugaw iti nasipnget iti balay a pagbaludan.
8 I, am Yahweh, that, is my Name, And, my glory, to another, will I not give, Nor my praise to images.
Siak ni Yahweh, dayta ti naganko; ket saanko nga ibingay ti dayagko iti dadduma wenno ti dayawko kadagiti kinitikitan a didiosen.
9 Things told in advance, lo! they have come to pass, —And new things, am I telling, Ere yet they spring forth, I let, you, hear them.
Kitaenyo, napasamaken dagiti immuna a banbanag, ita, ipakaammokon dagiti baro a mapasamak. Sakbay a mangrugi a mapasamak dagitoy, ibagakon kadakayo ti maipapan kadagitoy.”
10 Sing to Yahweh, a song that is new, His praise, from the end of the earth, —Ye that go down to the sea, and the fulness thereof, The Coastlands and ye who dwell therein.
Kantaanyo ni Yahweh iti baro a kanta, ken pagdayawna kenkuana manipud iti pungto ti daga; dakayo a sumalsalog iti baybay, ken amin nga adda iti daytoy, dagiti daga iti igid ti baybay ken dagiti agnanaed kadagitoy.
11 Let the wilderness shout, and the cities thereof, The villages wherein dwelleth Kedar, —Let the inhabitants of the crag, raise shouts of triumph, From the top of the mountains, let them cry aloud:
Agikkis koma ti disierto ken dagiti siudad, agpukkaw koma gapu iti rag-o dagiti rehion iti Kedar! Agkanta koma dagiti agnanaed iti Sela; agpukkawda koma manipud kadagiti tapaw ti bantay.
12 Let them render unto Yahweh, glory, —And, his praise, in the Coastlands let them tell.
Idaydayawda koma ni Yahweh ken ipakaammoda ti dayawna kadagiti daga iti igid ti baybay.
13 Yahweh, as a hero, goeth forth, As a man of war, he stirreth up jealousy, —He giveth a cry, yea he raiseth a war-cry, Over his foes, he showeth his strength.
Rummuarto ni Yahweh a kas maysa a mannakigubat; mapanto isuna a kas maysa a mannakigubat. Ipakitananto ti pungtotna. Agpukkawto isuna, wen, agpukkawto isuna iti pukkaw ti gubat; ipakitananto kadagiti kabusorna ti pannakabalinna.
14 I have held my peace from age-past times, I kept still, I restrained myself, —As a travailing woman, I pant, I breathe hard and gasp, all at once!
Nabayag a panawen a nagulimekak; nagtatalnaak ken ginawidak ti bagik; ita, agikkisak a kas iti babai nga agpaspasikal; agangsabak ken agal-alak.
15 I will lay waste mountains, and hills, And all their vegetation, will I wither, —And I will make rivers to be shores, And lakes, will I dry up:
Rebbaekto dagiti banbantay ken dagiti turturod ket pagangoekto dagiti mulmulada; pagbalinekto nga isla dagiti karayan ken pagmagaekto dagiti dan-aw.
16 Thus will I lead the blind, by a way they know not, In paths they know not, will I guide them, —I will make the place that was dark before them to be, light. And crooked ways, to be, straight, These things, have I done unto them, And have not forsaken them.
Iyegkonto dagiti bulsek babaen iti dalan a saanda nga ammo; idalankonto ida kadagiti dalan a saanda nga ammo. Pagbalinekto a lawag ti kinasipnget iti sangoananda, ken pagbalinekto a nalinteg dagiti nakillo a disso. Dagitoy dagiti banbanag nga aramidekto ket saankonto ida a panawan.
17 They have drawn back They turn very pale Who have been trusting in a graven image, —Who have been saying to a molten image, Ye, are our gods!
Mailaksiddanto, maibabaindanto a naan-anay, isuda nga agtaltalek kadagiti kinitikitan nga imahe, a mangibagbaga kadagiti nakitikatan nga imahe, “Dakayo dagiti diosmi.”
18 Ye deaf hear! And ye blind look around that ye may see,
Denggenyo, dakayo a tuleng; ken kitaenyo dakayo a bulag tapno makitayo.
19 Who is blind if not my Servant? Or deaf, like, my messenger whom I send? Who is, blind, like an intimate friend? Or blind like the Servant of Yahweh?
Siasino ti bulag, no saan a ti adipenko? Wenno tuleng a kas iti mensahero nga imbaonko? Adda kadi bulag a kas iti nakitulagak, wenno bulag a kas iti adipen ni Yahweh?
20 Seeing many things, yet thou heedest not, Opening the ears yet he heareth not,
Adu dagiti banbanag a makitkitayo ngem saanyo a maawatan; nakalukat dagiti lapayag ngem awan ti dumdumngeg.
21 Yahweh, is well-pleased for his own righteousness’ sake, He magnifieth instruction and maketh it majestic.
Makaay-ayo kenni Yahweh a dayawen ti kinalintegna ken itan-ok ti lintegna.
22 But, that, is a people preyed upon and plundered, Snared in holes, all of them, And, in houses of restraint, concealed, —They have become a prey, and there is none to deliver, —A booty, and there is none to say—Restore!
Ngem dagitoy a tattao ket natakawan ken nasamsaman; naipalab-ogda amin kadagiti ab-abut, naipupokda kadagiti pagbaludan; nasamsamda nga awan ti siasinoman a mangispal kadakuada, ken awan ti siasinoman a nagkuna, “Isubliyo ida!”
23 Who among you, will give ear to this, —Let him hearken and hear, for an aftertime?
Siasino kadakayo ti mangipangagto iti daytoy? Siasinonto ti mangipangag ken mangdengngeg iti masakbayan?
24 Who gave, as a booty, Jacob. And, Israel, to them who were ready to take prey? Was it not, Yahweh? He against whom we have sinned, And they were not willing, in his ways, to walk, Neither hearkened they to his instruction?
Siasino ti nangiyawat kenni Jacob kadagiti mannanakaw, ken ti Israel kadagiti tulisan? Saan aya a ni Yahweh, a nagbasolantayo, nga akin-wagas iti nagkedkedanda nga aramiden, ken akin-linteg iti nagkedkedanda a pagtulnogan?
25 So he hath poured out, upon him, the glow of his anger, and the strength of battle; And it hath set him aflame round about, yet he knoweth it not, And it hath kindled upon him yet he layeth it not to heart.
Isu nga imparukpokna ti nakaro a pungtotna maibusor kadakuada, nga addaan iti pannakadadael babaen iti gubat. Simged daytoy iti aglawlawda ngem saanda a naamiris daytoy; inuramna ida ngem saanda a pinagan-ano.
