< Isaiah 35 >

1 Wilderness and parched land, shall be glad for them, —And the waste plain, shall exult, and blossom as the lily:
Ramke hoi ka ke e talai teh a lunghawi awh han. Ayawn hai a lunghawi vaiteh, a kamhlawng han.
2 It shall, blossom abundantly, and exult, Yea with exultation and shouts of triumph, The glory of Lebanon, hath been given to it, The splendour of Carmel, and Sharon, —They, shall see the glory of Yahweh, the splendour of our God.
Puenghoi kamhlawng vaiteh, lunghawinae hoi la saknae hoi a lunghawi awh han. Ahni ni Lebanon mon e bawilennae hai thoseh, Karmel mon hoi Sharon hmuen meihawinae hai thoseh, poe lah ao han. Ahni teh BAWIPA e lentoenae, maimae Cathut e bawilennae hah a hmu awh han.
3 Strengthen ye the weak hands, —The trembling knees, make ye firm:
Tha ka baw e kutnaw hah tha awm sak awh. Pouk ka ca e khokpakhu hah caksak awh.
4 Say to the hurried in heart, Be strong, Do not fear, —Lo! your God, with avenging, doth come, With the recompence of God, He, doth come to save you.
Lung ka tâsue e naw na lung tha awm sak awh. Taket awh hanh awh telah tet awh. Khenhaw! Nangmae Cathut teh moipathungnae, Cathut e runae poenae hoi a tho han, nangmouh na rungngang han.
5 Then, shall be opened the eyes of the blind, —And, the ears of the deaf, be unstopped:
Hat toteh, mitdawnnaw ni mit bout hmawt awh vaiteh, hnâpangnaw ni hnâ bout a thai awh han.
6 Then, shall leap as a hart the lame, Then shall shout the tongue of the dumb, For, there have broken forth—In the desert—waters, And streams, in the waste plain:
Khokkhemnaw ni sayuk patetlah a doukcouk awh han. Lawkanaw ni hai la a sak awh han. Bangkongtetpawiteh, ramke um vah tui puk tâcawt vaiteh, thingyeiyawn dawk tui a lawng han.
7 Then shall the glowing sand, become a lake, And thirsty ground—springs of water, —In the home of the wild dog—its lair, Shall be an enclosure for cane and paper—reed.
Kâan poung e thingyei teh, tuikamuem lah ao awh han. Ka ke e talai teh tuiphuek lah ao han. Kahrawnguinaw a inae lungpum yueng lah marangpho a paw han.
8 And there shall be there, a raised way—even a high road, And the Highroad of Holiness, shall it be called, There shall not pass over it one who is unclean; But He Himself, shall be one of them travelling the road, And the perverse, shall not stray [thereinto].

9 There shall be, there, no lion, Nor shall ravenous beast, go up thereon, It shall not be found, there, —Thus, shall travel the redeemed;
Hote hmuen dawk bangpatet e sendek hai awm mahoeh. Ka matheng e sarang buet touh boehai hote lamthung dawk luen awh mahoeh. Ratang e naw ni duengdoeh hote lamthung teh a dawn awh han.
10 And the ransomed of Yahweh! shall return, And shall enter Zion with shouting, With gladness age-abiding, upon their head, Joy and gladness shall overtake them, And sorrow and sighing, shall flee away.
BAWIPA ni a ratang e naw teh bout tho awh vaiteh, la sak laihoi Zion kho dawk a kâen awh han. A yungyoe lunghawinae teh ahnimae lû dawk ao han. Ahnimouh teh lunghawinae hoi lungnawmnae tawn awh vaiteh, lungmathoenae hoi cingounae teh a yawng awh han toe.
