Isaiah 32
1 Lo! in righteousness, shall reign a king, Yea even princes, with equity, shall bear rule.
१पाहा, राजा सदाचाराने राज्य करील, आणि त्याचे सरदार न्यायाने सत्ता चालवतील.
2 So shall each one become As a hiding-place from the wind And a covert from the storm, —As channels of water in a dry place, As the shadow of a massive cliff in a weary land.
२प्रत्येक जण जसा वाऱ्यापासून आडोसा व वादळामध्ये आश्रय व पाऊस तसा होईल, सुक्या भूमीत जसे पाण्याचे प्रवाह, उष्ण प्रदेशातील मोठ्या खडकाखालील सावलीसारखा तो होईल.
3 And the eyes of them who are ready to see, shall not be closed, —And, the ears of them who are ready to hear, shall hearken;
३तेव्हा जे हे पाहतील त्यांचे डोळे मंदावणार नाही आणि ऐकणाऱ्यांचे कान हे लक्षपूर्वक ऐकतील.
4 And the heart of the hurried, shall take note of knowledge, And the tongue of stammerers, shall make haste to speak plainly.
४अविचारी बारकाईने समजून घेईल, तोतरा सहजतेने व स्पष्ट बोलेल.
5 A base man, shall no longer be called, noble, —Nor, a knave, be named, liberal;
५मूर्खाला अधिक काळ सन्मान्य म्हणणार नाही, किंवा फसविणाऱ्यास प्रतिष्ठीत. म्हणणार नाहीत.
6 For, a base man, with baseness, will speak, And, his heart, will practise iniquity, —Practising profanity, And speaking, against Yahweh that which misleadeth, Emptying the soul of the hungry, And the drink of the thirsty, he causeth to fail;
६कारण मूर्ख मनुष्य आपल्या मनात मूर्खपणाच्या गोष्टी बोलतो आणि वाईट गोष्टींचे बेत आखतो आणि तो दुष्कृत्ये आणि देवविरहीत चुकीच्याच गोष्टी परमेश्वराविरूद्ध बोलतो. तो भुकेलेल्यांना अन्न खाऊ देत नाही आणि तहानेलेल्यांना पाणी पिऊ देत नाही.
7 Yea, a knave, his weapons are wicked, —He, base schemes, hath devised To ruin the oppressed with speeches of falsehood Even when the needy pleadeth, for justice.
७फसवणाऱ्याच्या पद्धती वाईट असतात. तो दुष्ट योजना आखून गरीब योग्य ते बोलतो तेव्हाही तो असत्याने गरीबाचा नाश करू पाहतो.
8 But, a noble man, noble things, hath devised, —And, he, upon noble things, will stand,
८परंतु सन्माननीय मनुष्य सन्माननीय योजना करतो कारण त्याच्या सन्माननीय कृतीमुळेच तो उभा राहतो.
9 Ye women in comfort! arise hear my voice, Ye daughters so confident give ear to my speech: —
९तुम्ही ज्या निर्धास्तपणे राहणाऱ्या स्त्रियांनो उठा, आणि माझी वाणी ऐका; अहो निश्चिंत कन्यांनो, माझे ऐका.
10 Some days beyond a year, ye shall be troubled ye confident ones, —For failed hath the vintage, No, gathering, cometh in.
१०अहो निश्चिंत स्त्रियांनो, एक वर्षाहून अधिक काळ तुमचा आत्मविश्वास तुटेल, कारण द्राक्षाचे हंगाम बुडेल, फळे गोळा करता येणार नाही.
11 Tremble, ye women in comfort, Be troubled ye daughters so confident, —Strip! and bare yourselves, and gird somewhat on your loins:
११तुम्ही आरामात राहणाऱ्या स्त्रियांनो, थरथर कापा; तुम्ही आत्मविश्वास असणाऱ्यांनो, अस्वस्थ व्हा; आपली तलम चांगली वस्त्रे काढा आणि आपल्याला उघडे करा; आपल्या कमरेभोवती तागाची वस्त्रे गुंडाळा.
12 Upon your breasts, continue smiting: For desirable fields, For fruitful vine.
१२रम्य शेतीसाठी व फलदायी द्राक्षवेलीसाठी त्या विलाप करतील.
13 Over the soil of my people, thorns and briars shall grow, —Yea over all houses of joy, thou city exultant!
१३माझ्या लोकांच्या भूमीवर काटे व कुसळे उगवतील, एकेकाळी आनंदीत असलेल्या शहरातील घरांवरदेखील त्या उगवतील.
14 For the palace, is abandoned, the tumult of the city, hath ceased—Hill and watch-tower, serve as caves, unto times age-abiding, The joy of wild-asses, The pasture of flocks: —
१४कारण महाल सोडून दिले जातील, गर्दीची शहरे ओस पडतील; टेकडी व टेहळणीचा बुरूज सर्वकाळपर्यंत गुहा होईल, रान गाढवांचा आनंद, कळपांची कुरणे होतील.
15 Until there be poured out upon us the spirit, from on high, —Then shall the wilderness become, garden-land, And the garden-land, for a forest, be reckoned;
१५जोपर्यंत आम्हावर देवाच्या आत्म्याची वृष्टी वरून होणार नाही तोपर्यंत असे होईल, आणि रान फलदायी शेती होईल, आणि फलदायी शेती मात्र जंगलासारखी होईल.
16 Then shall, justice inhabit, the wilderness, And righteousness, in the garden-land, shall abide;
१६मग रानात न्यायत्वाची वस्ती होईल, फलदायी शेतीत नितीमत्ता वास करील.
17 And the yield of righteousness, shall be, peace, —And the tillage of righteousness, quietness, and confidence! to times age-abiding;
१७नितीमत्तेचे कार्य शांती; नितीमत्तेचा परिणाम शांतता आणि सर्वकाळचा आत्मविश्वास होईल.
18 And my people shall dwell, In a borne of peace, —and In habitations of security, and In resting-places of comfort.
१८माझे लोक शांतस्थळी वस्ती करतील, सुरक्षित निवासस्थानी, आणि शांत जागी राहतील.
19 But it shall hail during the felling of the forest, And in a sunken place, shall, the city, sink.
१९पण जंगलाचा नाश होते वेळी गारा पडतील व नगर अगदी जमीनदोस्त केले जाईल.
20 How happy are ye who sow beside all waters, —Who send forth the foot of the ox and the ass.
२०जे तुम्ही सर्व जलांजवळ पेरता, जे तुम्ही बैल व गाढव यांचे पाय मोकळे करता, ते तुम्ही आशीर्वादित आहा.
