< Isaiah 32 >

1 Lo! in righteousness, shall reign a king, Yea even princes, with equity, shall bear rule.
Manghai tah duengnah neh manghai vetih mangpa rhoek loh a tiktam la boei uh ni.
2 So shall each one become As a hiding-place from the wind And a covert from the storm, —As channels of water in a dry place, As the shadow of a massive cliff in a weary land.
Te vaengah tah khohli vaengkah congket conglong neh hlipuei vaengkah a huephael bangla, rhamrhae kah sokca tui bangla, buhmueh rhathih khohmuen kah thaelpang puei kah hlipkhup bangla boeih om ni.
3 And the eyes of them who are ready to see, shall not be closed, —And, the ears of them who are ready to hear, shall hearken;
Aka hmu rhoek loh a mik buem uh voel pawt vetih aka ya kah a hna long khaw hnatung uh pawn ni.
4 And the heart of the hurried, shall take note of knowledge, And the tongue of stammerers, shall make haste to speak plainly.
Thinko aka loe long khaw ming hamla a yakming ni. Ol khol khaw a loe la puk cal ni.
5 A base man, shall no longer be called, noble, —Nor, a knave, be named, liberal;
Hlang ang te hlangcong la khue voel pawt vetih ngukngak te hlang rhoeikhang ti nah mahpawh.
6 For, a base man, with baseness, will speak, And, his heart, will practise iniquity, —Practising profanity, And speaking, against Yahweh that which misleadeth, Emptying the soul of the hungry, And the drink of the thirsty, he causeth to fail;
Lailak la saii ham neh BOEIPA te rholrhaknah thui ham, akaang loh boethaehalang a thui tih a lungbuei kah boethae a saii. Hlang kah hinglu te bungpong la a kaeng tih tuihalh khaw tui-ok loh a vaitah sak.
7 Yea, a knave, his weapons are wicked, —He, base schemes, hath devised To ruin the oppressed with speeches of falsehood Even when the needy pleadeth, for justice.
Ngukngak loh a boethae hnopai te khonuen rhamtat la a khueh tih, khodaeng loh tiktam a thui vaengah pataeng kodo mangdaeng te a honghi ol neh vueinan hamla caai.
8 But, a noble man, noble things, hath devised, —And, he, upon noble things, will stand,
Tedae hlangcong long tah moeihoeihnah neh a uen tih moeihoeihnah neh pai van.
9 Ye women in comfort! arise hear my voice, Ye daughters so confident give ear to my speech: —
Mongkawt nu rhoek thoo uh lamtah ka ol hnatun uh. Palyal tanu rhoek ka olthui he hnakaeng uh lah.
10 Some days beyond a year, ye shall be troubled ye confident ones, —For failed hath the vintage, No, gathering, cometh in.
Palyal rhoek te kum at hnin at ah na tlai uh bitni. Misurbit loh n'khah vetih cangah khaw pha mahpawh.
11 Tremble, ye women in comfort, Be troubled ye daughters so confident, —Strip! and bare yourselves, and gird somewhat on your loins:
Mongkawt nu te lakueng saeh, palyal nu rhoek khaw tlai uh saeh. Hni te pit saeh lamtah a yal la a pumpu te vah saeh.
12 Upon your breasts, continue smiting: For desirable fields, For fruitful vine.
Naidoeh lohma ham neh misur thaihsu ham te rhangsuk mah rhaengsae laeh.
13 Over the soil of my people, thorns and briars shall grow, —Yea over all houses of joy, thou city exultant!
Hling neh lota he ka pilnam kah hmuenlung ham a yam pah coeng tih, khorha kah omthennah dongah aka yalpo imkhui boeih ham pai ni.
14 For the palace, is abandoned, the tumult of the city, hath ceased—Hill and watch-tower, serve as caves, unto times age-abiding, The joy of wild-asses, The pasture of flocks: —
Impuei te a phap vetih khopuei a lilup khaw a hnoo ni. Molpuei neh rhaltawt imsang te kohong marhang kah a omthennah neh tuping uemnah la poeh vetih kumhal due lungtokhui la om ni.
15 Until there be poured out upon us the spirit, from on high, —Then shall the wilderness become, garden-land, And the garden-land, for a forest, be reckoned;
Hmuensang lamkah Mueihla te mamih soah han kingling vaengah tah khosoek khaw cangphil cangngol la poeh tih khoham cangphil cangngol bangla a poek.
16 Then shall, justice inhabit, the wilderness, And righteousness, in the garden-land, shall abide;
Te vaengah tah khosoek ah tiktamnah loh kho a sak vetih, duengnah loh cangphil cangngol te a om thil ni.
17 And the yield of righteousness, shall be, peace, —And the tillage of righteousness, quietness, and confidence! to times age-abiding;
Duengnah kah a khoboe tah rhoepnah la, duengnah kah thohtatnah tah kumhal due mong vetih ngaikhuek la om ni.
18 And my people shall dwell, In a borne of peace, —and In habitations of security, and In resting-places of comfort.
Ka pilnam long tah rhoepnah tolkhoeng neh pangtungnah tolhmuen ah duemnah neh a mongkawt la kho a sak ni.
19 But it shall hail during the felling of the forest, And in a sunken place, shall, the city, sink.
Te dongah duup khaw rhael aka bo loh a hnaa vetih khopuei khaw tlarhoelnah la kunyun ni.
20 How happy are ye who sow beside all waters, —Who send forth the foot of the ox and the ass.
Te dae tui kaeng te boeih aka tawn tih vaito neh laak kho neh aka tluek rhoek tah na yoethen uh.
