Isaiah 31
1 Alas! for them who are going down to Egypt for help, On horses, would rely, —And have trusted—In chariots—because they are many, and In horsemen, because they are very bold, But have not looked unto the Holy One of Israel, And onto Yahweh, have not sought.
Mawa na bato oyo bazali kokende na Ejipito mpo na koluka lisungi, oyo bazali kotia mitema na bampunda, oyo bazali kotia elikya na bashar mpo ete ezali ebele, mpe na nguya ya basoda oyo batambolisaka yango, kasi batalelaka Mosantu ya Isalaele te mpe balukaka lisungi epai na Yawe te!
2 But, he also, is wise, and hath brought in calamity, And his own words, hath he not set aside, —Therefore will he rise up, Against the house of evil-doers, and Against the help of the workers of iniquity.
Nzokande, Ye mpe azali na bwanya mpe akoki koyeisa pasi; abongolaka maloba na Ye te. Atelemelaka ndako ya bato mabe mpe bato oyo basungaka bango.
3 Now, the Egyptians, are, men, and not, GOD, And, their horses, flesh, and not, spirit; When, Yahweh, shall stretch out his hand, Then, he that is giving help, shall stumble And, he that is receiving help, shall fall, And, together, shall, all of them, vanish!
Bato ya Ejipito bazali kaka bato, kasi bazali Nzambe te, bampunda na bango ezali kaka mosuni, kasi ezali molimo te. Tango Yawe akosembola loboko na Ye, ye oyo asungaka akobeta libaku, mpe ye oyo bazali kosunga akokweya; bongo, bango mibale bakobebisama.
4 For Thus, hath Yahweh said unto me—Like as a lion or a young lion growleth over his prey. Who—though there be called out against him a multitude of shepherds—Will not at their voice, be dismayed, Nor, at their noise, be daunted, So, will Yahweh of hosts come down, to make war over Mount Zion, and over the hill thereof.
Tala liloba oyo Yawe alobi na ngai: « Ndenge nkosi to mwana nkosi egangaka liboso ya mosuni na yango, ata lisanga monene ya babateli bibwele basangani mpo na kotelemela yango, ezalaka na somo ya makelele na bango te mpe ezongaka sima te na mangungu na bango, ndenge wana mpe Yawe, Mokonzi ya mampinga, akokita na ngomba Siona mpe na ngomba na yango ya moke mpo na kobunda.
5 As little mother-birds hovering, so, will Yahweh of hosts throw a covering over Jerusalem, —Covering, so will he rescue, Passing over, so will he deliver!
Ndenge ndeke efungolaka mapapu na yango, ndenge wana mpe Yawe, Mokonzi ya mampinga, akobatela Yelusalemi, akobatela mpe akokangola, akobikisa yango na likama mpe akosunga yango. »
6 Return ye unto him against whom the sons of Israel have deeply revolted,
Oh bana ya Isalaele, bozonga epai na Ye oyo botombokeli makasi!
7 For in that day, will every man reject his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, —Which your hands had made for you as a sin!
Na mokolo wana, moko na moko kati na bino akobwaka banzambe na ye ya bikeko ya palata mpe ya wolo oyo bosalaki na maboko na bino ya masumu.
8 Then shall the Assyrian fall, by the sword, not of a great man, And the sword, not of a mean man, shall devour him, —Howbeit he shall take his flight from the face of a sword, And his young men, shall come under tribute;
« Mokili ya Asiri ekokweyisama na mopanga ya moto ya mokili oyo te, ekobebisama na mopanga ya moto te. Bato ya Asiri bakokima liboso ya mopanga, mpe basoda na bango ya bilenge bakokoma kosala misala ya makasi.
9 And his own Cliff, through terror, shall he pass by, And his princes shall be dismayed at an ensign, —Declareth Yahweh. Who hath a flame in Zion, And hath a furnace in Jerusalem.
Libanga na bango ya makasi ekolimwa na somo; mpe bakambi na bango bakolenga na somo na komona bendele ya etumba, » elobi Yawe oyo moto na Ye ezali kati na Siona mpe fulu ya moto na Ye ezali kati na Yelusalemi.
