Isaiah 3
1 For lo! the Lord, Yahweh of hosts, removing from Jerusalem and from Judah, The stay and staff, —The whole stay of bread, And the whole stay of water:
ଦେଖ, ପ୍ରଭୁ, ସୈନ୍ୟାଧିପତି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଯିରୂଶାଲମ ଓ ଯିହୁଦାଠାରୁ ଯଷ୍ଟି ଓ ଯଷ୍ଟିକା, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍, ଅନ୍ନ ସ୍ୱରୂପ ସମସ୍ତ ଯଷ୍ଟି ଓ ଜଳ ସ୍ୱରୂପ ସମସ୍ତ ଯଷ୍ଟିକା ଦୂର କରୁଅଛନ୍ତି;
2 Man of might and man of war, —Judge and prophet And diviner and elder;
ବୀର, ଯୋଦ୍ଧା; ବିଚାରକର୍ତ୍ତା, ଭବିଷ୍ୟଦ୍ବକ୍ତା, ମନ୍ତ୍ରଜ୍ଞ, ପ୍ରାଚୀନ;
3 Captain of fifty, and favourite; And counsellor and skilled artificer, And master of magical formulas;
ପଚାଶପତି, ସମ୍ଭ୍ରାନ୍ତ ମନୁଷ୍ୟ, ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ, ନିପୁଣ ଶିଳ୍ପକର ଓ ନିପୁଣ ଶୁଭାଶୁଭବାଦୀ (ଦୂରୀକୃତ ହେବେ)।
4 And I will appoint boys to be their princes, —And, petulant children, shall rule over them,
ଆମ୍ଭେ ବାଳକମାନଙ୍କୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଅଧିପତି କରିବା ଓ ଶିଶୁମାନେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ଶାସନ କରିବେ।
5 And the people will, tyrannise, Every man over his fellow-man, And every man over his friend, —And they will rage The boy against, the elder, And the despised, against, the honourable,
ଆଉ, ଲୋକମାନେ ଏକ ଜଣ ଅନ୍ୟ ଜଣ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଓ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ଲୋକ ଆପଣା ପ୍ରତିବାସୀ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଉପଦ୍ରୁତ ହେବେ; ବାଳକ ପ୍ରାଚୀନଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଓ ଅଧମ ଲୋକ ସମ୍ଭ୍ରାନ୍ତ ଲୋକ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଗର୍ବାଚରଣ କରିବ।
6 When a man shall lay hold, on his brother of the house of his father, [saying] —Clothing, hast thou, Become thou our, ruler, This downfall, be under thy hand,
କେହି କେହି ଆପଣା ଭ୍ରାତାକୁ ତାହାର ପିତୃଗୃହରେ ଧରି କହିବେ, “ତୁମ୍ଭର ବସ୍ତ୍ର ଅଛି, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଶାସନକର୍ତ୍ତା ହୁଅ, ପୁଣି, ଏହି ନିପତିତ (ରାଜ୍ୟ) ତୁମ୍ଭ ହସ୍ତାଧୀନ ହେଉ;”
7 He will swear, in that day, saying—I will take no control, When in mine own house, is neither food nor clothing, —Ye must not set me for a ruler of people!
ସେ ସେହି ଦିନ ଆପଣା ରବ ଉଠାଇ କହିବ “ମୁଁ ଚିକିତ୍ସକ ହେବି ନାହିଁ; କାରଣ ମୋʼ ଗୃହରେ ଖାଦ୍ୟ କିମ୍ବା ବସ୍ତ୍ର ନାହିଁ; ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ମୋତେ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ଶାସନକର୍ତ୍ତା କର ନାହିଁ।”
8 For stumbled hath Jerusalem, and, Judah, hath fallen, —Because, their tongue and their doings, are against Yahweh, Provoking his glorious presence,
ଯେହେତୁ ଯିରୂଶାଲମ ବିନଷ୍ଟ ଓ ଯିହୁଦା ପତିତ ହୋଇଅଛି; କାରଣ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ପ୍ରତାପବିଶିଷ୍ଟ ଚକ୍ଷୁକୁ କ୍ରୋଧାନ୍ୱିତ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଜିହ୍ୱା ଓ କ୍ରିୟା ତାହାଙ୍କର ପ୍ରତିକୂଳ ଅଟେ।
9 The show of their face, hath answered against them, And their sin—like Sodom, have they told, they have not concealed it. Alas for their souls! For they have requited to themselves, calamity.
ସେମାନଙ୍କ ମୁଖର ଆକାର ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତିକୂଳରେ ସାକ୍ଷ୍ୟ ଦିଏ; ପୁଣି, ସେମାନେ ସଦୋମର ନ୍ୟାୟ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କ ପାପ ପ୍ରକାଶ କରି ଗୋପନ କରନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ। ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରାଣର ସନ୍ତାପ ହେବ! କାରଣ ସେମାନେ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କର ଅନିଷ୍ଟ ଆପେ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି।
10 Say ye to the righteous It is well! For the fruit of their doings, shall they eat:
ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଧାର୍ମିକର ବିଷୟରେ କୁହ ଯେ, ତାହାର ମଙ୍ଗଳ ହେବ, ଯେହେତୁ ସେମାନେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା କର୍ମର ଫଳ ଭୁଞ୍ଜିବେ।
11 Alas! for the lawless, it is ill, For what his own hand hath matured, shall be done to him.
ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକର ସନ୍ତାପ ହେବ! ତାହାର ଅମଙ୍ଗଳ ଘଟିବ; କାରଣ ତାହାର ହସ୍ତକୃତ କର୍ମର ପ୍ରତିଫଳ ତାହାକୁ ଦିଆଯିବ।
12 My people! children, are their tyrants, And, women, rule over them, —My people! they who should lead thee forward, are causing thee to stray, Thy pathways, have they destroyed,
ମୋʼ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ବିଷୟ ଦେଖିଲେ, ବାଳକମାନେ ମୋʼ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ଉପଦ୍ରବକାରୀ ଓ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀମାନେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ଶାସନ କରନ୍ତି। ହେ ମୋହର ଲୋକମାନେ, ତୁମ୍ଭର ପଥଦର୍ଶକମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଭୁଲାନ୍ତି ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଗମନର ପଥ ନଷ୍ଟ କରନ୍ତି।
13 Yahweh hath taken his station to plead, —And is standing to judge peoples:
ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ପ୍ରତିବାଦ କରିବାକୁ ଠିଆ ହେଉଅଛନ୍ତି, ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀୟମାନଙ୍କର ବିଚାର କରିବାକୁ ଠିଆ ହେଉଅଛନ୍ତି।
14 Yahweh, into judgment, will enter, With the elders of his people And their princes, —But ye, have consumed the vineyard, That which hath been robbed from the oppressed, is in your houses.
ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆପଣା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ପ୍ରାଚୀନବର୍ଗର ଓ ଅଧିପତିଗଣର ସହିତ ବିଚାରରେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହେବେ; “ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ହିଁ ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାକ୍ଷେତ୍ର ଗ୍ରାସ କରିଅଛ; ଦରିଦ୍ରମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଲୁଟିତ ଦ୍ରବ୍ୟ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଗୃହରେ ଅଛି;”
15 What right have ye to crush my people, And the faces of the oppressed, to grind? Demandeth My Lord Yahweh of hosts—And Yahweh saith—
“ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଯେ ଆମ୍ଭ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦଳି ପକାଉଅଛ ଓ ଦରିଦ୍ରମାନଙ୍କ ମୁଖ ଘଷି ପକାଉଅଛ, ଏଥିରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଅଭିପ୍ରାୟ କʼଣ?” ପ୍ରଭୁ, ବାହିନୀଗଣର ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି।
16 Because haughty are the daughters of Zion, And they walk with neck thrown back, and wanton eyes, —Tripping along as they go, And with their feet, making, a tinkling sound,
ଆହୁରି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହିଲେ, “ସିୟୋନର କନ୍ୟାଗଣ ଅହଙ୍କାରିଣୀ ଓ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ଗ୍ରୀବା ଲମ୍ବାଇ ଓ କଟାକ୍ଷ କରି ଗମନ କରନ୍ତି, ଗମନ କରୁ କରୁ ଚଞ୍ଚଳ ପାଦସଞ୍ଚାର ଓ ଚରଣରେ ରୁଣୁଝୁଣୁ ଶବ୍ଦ କରନ୍ତି;
17 Therefore will My Lord, smite with leprosy the crown of hair of the daughters of Zion, —And, as for Yahweh, their shame, will he lay bare!
ଏହେତୁ ପ୍ରଭୁ ସିୟୋନର କନ୍ୟାଗଣର ମସ୍ତକ କାଛୁମୟ କରିବେ ଓ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଗୁପ୍ତ ସ୍ଥାନ ଅନାବୃତ କରିବେ।”
18 In that day, will My Lord remove the finery—of the anklets, and the little suns and the little moons;
ସେହି ଦିନ ପ୍ରଭୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଗର୍ବ ସ୍ୱରୂପ ନୂପୁର, ଜାଲିବସ୍ତ୍ର, ଚନ୍ଦ୍ରହାର;
19 the pendants and the bracelets and the veils;
କର୍ଣ୍ଣଭୂଷଣ, ଚୁଡ଼ି, ଘୁମୁଟା;
20 the chaplets and the armlets and the girdles, and the scent-cases, and the amulets;
ଶିରୋଭୂଷଣ, ପାଦର ବଳା, କଟିବନ୍ଧନୀ, ଅତରଧାନୀ, କବଚ;
21 the rings and the nose-jewels;
ମୁଦି, ନଥ;
22 the robes, and the over-tunics, and the cloaks and the purses;
ଉତ୍ସବକାଳୀନ ବସ୍ତ୍ର, ଆବରଣୀୟ ବସ୍ତ୍ର, ସାଲ, ଗାଞ୍ଜିଆ;
23 and the mirrors and the linen wraps, and the tiaras and the cloaks.
ଦର୍ପଣ, ସୂକ୍ଷ୍ମ ବସ୍ତ୍ର, ଶିରୋବନ୍ଧନୀ ଓ ଓଢ଼ଣି କାଢ଼ି ପକାଇବେ।
24 And it shall come to pass—That instead of fragrance, a putrid odour, shall be, And instead of a girdle, an encircling rope, And instead of braided hair, baldness, And instead of a festal robe, a girding of sackcloth, Branding instead of beauty:
ତହିଁରେ ସୁଗନ୍ଧି ଦ୍ରବ୍ୟ ବଦଳରେ ଦୁର୍ଗନ୍ଧ ପୂଜ, କଟିବନ୍ଧନୀର ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତେ ରଜ୍ଜୁ, ସୁନ୍ଦର କେଶବିନ୍ୟାସ ବଦଳରେ କେଶ-ଶୂନ୍ୟତା ଓ ଆବରଣ ବସ୍ତ୍ର ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତେ ଚଟର ପଟୁକା; ସୌନ୍ଦର୍ଯ୍ୟ ବଦଳରେ ପୋଡ଼ାଦାଗ ହେବ।
25 Thy males, by the sword shall fall, —And, thy mighty men, by the war;
ତୁମ୍ଭର ପୁରୁଷମାନେ ଖଡ୍ଗାଘାତରେ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର ବିକ୍ରମୀଗଣ ଯୁଦ୍ଧରେ ପତିତ ହେବେ।
26 And her gates shall mourn and lament, —And forsaken, on the ground, shall she sit.
ସିୟୋନର ନଗରଦ୍ୱାରସକଳ ଶୋକ ଓ ବିଳାପ କରିବେ ଓ ସେ ଅକିଞ୍ଚନା ହୋଇ ଭୂମିରେ ବସିବ।
