< Isaiah 3 >
1 For lo! the Lord, Yahweh of hosts, removing from Jerusalem and from Judah, The stay and staff, —The whole stay of bread, And the whole stay of water:
Wen, ti Apo a ni Yahweh a Mannakabalin-amin, ket dandaninan nga ipanaw ti tulong ken sarukod manipud iti Jerusalem ken Juda: ti sibubukel nga abasto ti tinapay, ken ti sibubukel nga abasto ti danum;
2 Man of might and man of war, —Judge and prophet And diviner and elder;
dagiti nabileg a lallaki, dagiti mannakigubat, dagiti ukom, dagiti profeta, dagiti mammuyon, ti panglakayen;
3 Captain of fifty, and favourite; And counsellor and skilled artificer, And master of magical formulas;
dagiti kapitan iti limapulo a soldado, dagiti mararaem nga umili, dagiti mammagbaga, dagiti nalaing nga agar-aramid kadagiti banbanag, ken dagiti nalaing a salamangkero.
4 And I will appoint boys to be their princes, —And, petulant children, shall rule over them,
”Mangikabilakto kadagiti agtutubo laeng a kas panguloda, ket iturayan ida dagiti ubbing.
5 And the people will, tyrannise, Every man over his fellow-man, And every man over his friend, —And they will rage The boy against, the elder, And the despised, against, the honourable,
Agpipinnarigatto dagiti tattao, ken kasta met dagiti agkakaarruba; sitatangsitto a suppiatento dagiti ubbing dagiti nataengan, ken karitento dagiti naibabain dagiti mararaem.
6 When a man shall lay hold, on his brother of the house of his father, [saying] —Clothing, hast thou, Become thou our, ruler, This downfall, be under thy hand,
Tenglento pay ti lalaki ti kabsatna a lalaki iti balay ni amana ket kunana, 'Adda kagaymo; sika koma ti mangituray kadakami ket makaammoka koma iti daytoy a nadadael.'
7 He will swear, in that day, saying—I will take no control, When in mine own house, is neither food nor clothing, —Ye must not set me for a ruler of people!
Iti dayta nga aldaw agpukkawto isuna a kunana, ‘Saanakto nga agbalin a mangngagas; awan iti tinapay wenno kawesko. Saandak a pagbalinen a mangituray kadagiti tattao.”'
8 For stumbled hath Jerusalem, and, Judah, hath fallen, —Because, their tongue and their doings, are against Yahweh, Provoking his glorious presence,
Ta nadadaelen ti Jerusalem, ken narpuogen ti Juda, gapu ta maibusor kenni Yahweh dagiti sao ken tignayda, karkaritenda ti turayna.
9 The show of their face, hath answered against them, And their sin—like Sodom, have they told, they have not concealed it. Alas for their souls! For they have requited to themselves, calamity.
Makita kadagiti rupada ti kinasukirda; ket ibagbagada ti basolda a kas iti Sodoma; saanda nga ilemmeng daytoy. Asida pay! Ta nangiyegda iti dakkel a pakaisagmakan kadagiti bagbagida.
10 Say ye to the righteous It is well! For the fruit of their doings, shall they eat:
Ibagayo iti nalinteg a tao a nasayaatto ti masakbayanna; ta lak-amennanto ti bunga dagiti aramidna.
11 Alas! for the lawless, it is ill, For what his own hand hath matured, shall be done to him.
Asi pay dagiti nadangkes! Dakesto ti mapasamak kadakuada, ta no ania ti inaramid dagiti imana isunto ti maawatna. Dagiti tattaok- ubbing dagiti mangparparigat kadakuada, ken babbai dagiti mangiturturay kadakuada.
12 My people! children, are their tyrants, And, women, rule over them, —My people! they who should lead thee forward, are causing thee to stray, Thy pathways, have they destroyed,
Dakayo a tattaok, iyaw-awandakayo dagiti panguloyo ket saanyo nga ammo iti turturongenyo.
13 Yahweh hath taken his station to plead, —And is standing to judge peoples:
Timmakder ni Yahweh tapno mangngeddeng iti pangukoman; timmakder isuna tapno ukomenna dagiti tattaona.
14 Yahweh, into judgment, will enter, With the elders of his people And their princes, —But ye, have consumed the vineyard, That which hath been robbed from the oppressed, is in your houses.
Ibaganto ni Yahweh ti pangngeddengna maipanggep kadagiti panglakayen ken kadagiti opisial dagiti tattaona: “Inibusyoyo ti kaubasan; ti nasamsam manipud kadagiti marigrigat ket adda kadagiti balbalayyo.
15 What right have ye to crush my people, And the faces of the oppressed, to grind? Demandeth My Lord Yahweh of hosts—And Yahweh saith—
Apay a tumekenyo dagiti tattaok ken gilingenyo ti rupa dagiti marigrigat?” Daytoy ti pakaammo ti Apo, ni Yahweh a Mannakabalin-amin.
16 Because haughty are the daughters of Zion, And they walk with neck thrown back, and wanton eyes, —Tripping along as they go, And with their feet, making, a tinkling sound,
Imbaga ni Yahweh a napannakkel dagiti annak a babbai ti Sion, ken natangigda a magmagna, ken manggargari dagiti matada, agkinnikinnida bayat iti pannagnada, ken pagkalingkingenda dagiti saksakada.
17 Therefore will My Lord, smite with leprosy the crown of hair of the daughters of Zion, —And, as for Yahweh, their shame, will he lay bare!
Isu a paggaddilen ti Apo dagiti ulo dagiti annak a babbai ti Sion, ken pagkalboen ida ni Yahweh.
18 In that day, will My Lord remove the finery—of the anklets, and the little suns and the little moons;
Iti dayta nga aldaw, ikkatento ti Apo dagiti napintas nga alahas kadagiti lipay-lipayda, dagiti bandana, dagiti simmagaysay nga arkos,
19 the pendants and the bracelets and the veils;
dagiti aritos, dagiti pulseras, ken dagiti belo;
20 the chaplets and the armlets and the girdles, and the scent-cases, and the amulets;
dagiti punggos, dagiti kalingking kadagiti lipaylipay, dagiti barikes, ken dagiti kahon ti bangbanglo, ken dagiti an-anib.
21 the rings and the nose-jewels;
Ikkatennanto dagiti singsing ken alahas a pang-agong,
22 the robes, and the over-tunics, and the cloaks and the purses;
dagiti kawes a pakirambak, dagiti kagay, dagiti belo, ken dagiti supot;
23 and the mirrors and the linen wraps, and the tiaras and the cloaks.
dagiti ig-iggaman a sarming, ti kasasayaatan a lino, dagiti abungot, ken dagiti naarkusan a kagay.
24 And it shall come to pass—That instead of fragrance, a putrid odour, shall be, And instead of a girdle, an encircling rope, And instead of braided hair, baldness, And instead of a festal robe, a girding of sackcloth, Branding instead of beauty:
Imbes a pabanglo, nabangsitto ti adda; ken imbes a barikes, maysa a tali; imbes a naurnos a buok, panagkalbo; ken imbes a maysa a kagay, maysa a pangkalob a nakirsang a lupot; ken birbiritto imbes a kinapintas.
25 Thy males, by the sword shall fall, —And, thy mighty men, by the war;
Mapasagto dagiti tattaom babaen iti kampilan, ket mapasagto dagiti maingel a tattaom iti gubat.
26 And her gates shall mourn and lament, —And forsaken, on the ground, shall she sit.
Agdung-aw ken agladingitto dagiti ruangan ti Jerusalem; ket agmaymaysanto isuna ken agtugaw iti daga.
