Isaiah 24
1 Lo! Yahweh emptying the earth and laying it waste, —And he will overturn the face thereof, And scatter them who dwell therein.
ଦେଖ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ପୃଥିବୀକୁ ଶୂନ୍ୟ ଓ ଉଜାଡ଼ କରୁଅଛନ୍ତି, ଆଉ ତାହା ଓଲଟାଇ ତହିଁର ନିବାସୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ଛିନ୍ନଭିନ୍ନ କରୁଅଛନ୍ତି।
2 And it shall be—As the people, so, the priest, As the servant, so his lord, As the maid, so, her mistress, —As the buyer, so, the seller, As the lender, so, the borrower, As the debtor, so! his creditor.
ତହିଁରେ ଯେପରି ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର, ସେହିପରି ଯାଜକର; ଯେପରି ଦାସର, ସେହିପରି ତାହାର କର୍ତ୍ତାର; ଯେପରି ଦାସୀର, ସେହିପରି ତାହାର କର୍ତ୍ତ୍ରୀର; ଯେପରି କ୍ରୟକାରୀର, ସେହିପରି ବିକ୍ରୟକାରୀର; ଯେପରି ମହାଜନର, ସେହିପରି ଖାତକର; ଯେପରି ସୁଧଗ୍ରାହୀର, ସେହିପରି ସୁଧଦାତାର ପ୍ରତି ଘଟିବ।
3 Emptied—emptied—shall be the earth yea pillaged—pillaged, —For, Yahweh, hath spoken this word.
ପୃଥିବୀ ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ରୂପେ ଶୂନ୍ୟ ଓ ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ରୂପେ ଲୁଟିତ ହେବ; କାରଣ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି କଥା କହିଅଛନ୍ତି।
4 Mourneth, fadeth, the earth Languisheth, fadeth, the world, —Languished have the lofty of the people of the earth.
ପୃଥିବୀ ଶୋକ କରି ନିସ୍ତେଜ ହେଉଅଛି, ଜଗତ ମ୍ଳାନ ହୋଇ ନିସ୍ତେଜ ହେଉଅଛି, ପୃଥିବୀର ଉଚ୍ଚ ଲୋକମାନେ ମ୍ଳାନ ହୁଅନ୍ତି।
5 Yea the earth itself is profaned under them who dwell therein, —For they have Set aside laws, Gone beyond statute, Broken an age-abiding covenant.
ପୃଥିବୀ ତନ୍ନିବାସୀମାନଙ୍କ ପଦ ତଳେ ଅପବିତ୍ର ହୋଇଅଛି, କାରଣ ସେମାନେ ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥାସବୁ ଲଙ୍ଘନ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି, ବିଧି ଅନ୍ୟଥା କରିଅଛନ୍ତି, ଅନନ୍ତକାଳସ୍ଥାୟୀ ନିୟମ ଭାଙ୍ଗିଅଛନ୍ତି।
6 For this cause, a curse, hath devoured the earth, And punished are the dwellers therein, —For this cause, are burned the inhabitants of the earth, And the men left remaining—are few.
ଏହେତୁ ଅଭିଶାପ ପୃଥିବୀକୁ ଗ୍ରାସ କରିଅଛି ଓ ତନ୍ନିବାସୀଗଣ ଅପରାଧୀ ହୋଇଅଛନ୍ତି; ତହିଁ ନିମନ୍ତେ ପୃଥିବୀ ନିବାସୀମାନେ ଦଗ୍ଧ ହୋଇଅଛନ୍ତି ଓ ଅଳ୍ପ ଲୋକ ଅବଶିଷ୍ଟ ଅଛନ୍ତି।
7 Mourneth the new wine. Withereth the vine, —Sighing are all the merryhearted:
ନୂତନ ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାରସ ଶୋକ କରୁଅଛି, ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାଲତା ମ୍ଳାନ ହେଉଅଛି, ପ୍ରଫୁଲ୍ଲଚିତ୍ତ ସମସ୍ତେ ଦୀର୍ଘ ନିଶ୍ୱାସ ଛାଡ଼ୁଅଛନ୍ତି।
8 Ceased hath the mirth of timbrels, Ended is the noise of the uproarious, —Ceased hath the mirth of the lyre:
ତବଲାର ଆମୋଦ ନିବୃତ୍ତ ହେଉଅଛି, ଉଲ୍ଲାସକାରୀମାନଙ୍କର ଧ୍ୱନି ଶେଷ ହେଉଅଛି, ବୀଣାର ଆନନ୍ଦ ନିବୃତ୍ତ ହେଉଅଛି।
9 With a song, they drink not wine, —Bitter is strong drink, to them who drink it:
ଲୋକମାନେ ଗାନ ସହକାରେ ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାରସ ପାନ କରିବେ ନାହିଁ; ସୁରାପାୟୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ସୁରା ତିକ୍ତ ଲାଗିବ।
10 Broken down is the city of desolation, —Shut up every house that it cannot be entered.
ନିର୍ଜନ ନଗର ଭଗ୍ନ ହୋଇଅଛି; କୌଣସି ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ଯେପରି ଭିତରକୁ ଯାଇ ନ ପାରିବ, ଏଥିପାଇଁ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ଗୃହ ରୁଦ୍ଧ ହୋଇଅଛି।
11 There is an outcry concerning wine in the streets, —Darkened is all joy, Departed the gladness of the earth.
ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାରସ ସକାଶେ ସଡ଼କରେ ଚିତ୍କାର ହୁଏ; ସବୁ ପ୍ରକାର ଆନନ୍ଦ ଅନ୍ଧକାରାଚ୍ଛନ୍ନ ହୋଇଅଛି, ଦେଶର ଆମୋଦ ଯାଇଅଛି।
12 There is left in the city. desolation, —And to ruins, have been broken the gate.
ନଗରରେ ଧ୍ୱଂସତା ମାତ୍ର ଅବଶିଷ୍ଟ ଥାଏ ଓ ଦ୍ୱାର ଭଗ୍ନ ହୋଇ ବିନଷ୍ଟ ହୋଇଅଛି।
13 When, thus, it shall be in the earth in the midst of the peoples, [There shall be] like the shaking of an olive-tree, like the going round to pick when closed is the harvest.
କାରଣ ଯେପରି ଜୀତବୃକ୍ଷ ଝାଡ଼ିବା ବେଳେ ହୁଏ ଓ ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାଫଳ ସଂଗ୍ରହ ଉତ୍ତାରେ ଯେପରି ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷା ସାଉଁଟିବାର ହୁଏ, ସେହିପରି ପୃଥିବୀସ୍ଥ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଘଟିବ।
14 They, shall lift up their voice—shall raise a tremulous note, —On account of the splendour of Yahweh, have they made a shrill cry, on the West;
ଏମାନେ ଉଚ୍ଚ ରବ କରିବେ, ଏମାନେ ଆନନ୍ଦଧ୍ୱନି କରିବେ; ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ମହିମା ସକାଶୁ ସେମାନେ ସମୁଦ୍ରରୁ ଉଚ୍ଚଧ୍ୱନି କରିବେ।
15 For this cause, In the Regions of Light, give ye glory to Yahweh, —In the Coastlands of the Sea, unto the Name of Yahweh. God of Israel,
ଏହେତୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ପୂର୍ବଦେଶରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍, ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ନାମର ଗୌରବ ସମୁଦ୍ରର ଦ୍ୱୀପସମୂହରେ ପ୍ରକାଶ କର।
16 From the uttermost part of the earth, melodies, have we heard—Beauty, to the righteous one! But I had said—Ruin to me! Ruin to me! Woe to me! Traitors, have betrayed, Yea traitorously, have traitors betrayed!
ଧାର୍ମିକମାନେ ଶୋଭା ପାଆନ୍ତି, ଏହି ଗାନ ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ପୃଥିବୀର ପ୍ରାନ୍ତ ସୀମାରୁ ଶୁଣିଅଛୁ। ମାତ୍ର ମୁଁ କହିଲି, “ମୁଁ କ୍ଷୀଣ ହେଉଅଛି, ମୁଁ କ୍ଷୀଣ ହେଉଅଛି! ମୁଁ ସନ୍ତାପର ପାତ୍ର! ବିଶ୍ୱାସଘାତକମାନେ ବିଶ୍ୱାସଘାତକତା କରିଅଛନ୍ତି; ହଁ, ବିଶ୍ୱାସଘାତକମାନେ ଅତିଶୟ ବିଶ୍ୱାସଘାତକତା କରିଅଛନ୍ତି।”
17 Terror and pit and snare, —are upon thee, O inhabitant of the earth!
ହେ ପୃଥିବୀନିବାସୀ ଲୋକ, ତୁମ୍ଭ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଭୟ, ଗର୍ତ୍ତ ଓ ଫାନ୍ଦ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ ଅଛି।
18 So shall it be—He that fleeth from the sound of the terror! shall fall into the pit, And, he that getteth up out of the midst of the pit, shall be captured in the snare, —For, the windows on high, have opened, And shaken are the foundations of earth.
ଆଉ, ଏପରି ଘଟିବ, କେହି ଯଦି ଭୟର ଶବ୍ଦରୁ ପଳାଏ, ସେ ଗର୍ତ୍ତରେ ପଡ଼ିବ; କେହି ଗର୍ତ୍ତ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ଉଠି ଆସିଲେ, ସେ ଫାନ୍ଦରେ ଧରାଯିବ; କାରଣ ଊର୍ଦ୍ଧ୍ୱସ୍ଥ ଝରକାସବୁ ମୁକ୍ତ ଅଛି ଓ ପୃଥିବୀର ମୂଳସବୁ କମ୍ପମାନ ହେଉଅଛି।
19 The earth breaketh, breaketh, —The earth crasheth, crasheth, The earth tottereth, tottereth;
ପୃଥିବୀ ନିତାନ୍ତ ବିଦୀର୍ଣ୍ଣ ହେଉଅଛି, ପୃଥିବୀ ନିତାନ୍ତ ତରଳି ଯାଇଅଛି, ପୃଥିବୀ ଅତିଶୟ ବିଚଳିତ ହୋଇଅଛି।
20 The earth staggereth—staggereth like a drunken man, And rocketh to and fro like a night-hut, —So shall be heavy upon her, her transgression, And she shall fall and not again rise.
ପୃଥିବୀ ମତ୍ତ ଲୋକ ପରି ଟଳଟଳ ହେବ ଓ କୁଡ଼ିଆ ଘର ପରି ଏଣେତେଣେ ଦୋହଲିବ; ଆଉ, ତାହାର ଅପରାଧ ତାହା ଉପରେ ଭାରୀ ହେବ, ତହିଁରେ ସେ ପଡ଼ିବ, ଆଉ ଉଠିବ ନାହିଁ।
21 And it shall be in that day, That Yahweh will bring punishment Upon the host of the height in the height, —And upon the kings of the ground on the ground.
ପୁଣି, ସେହି ଦିନ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଊର୍ଦ୍ଧ୍ୱରେ ଊର୍ଦ୍ଧ୍ୱସ୍ଥମାନଙ୍କର ସୈନ୍ୟସାମନ୍ତକୁ ଓ ଭୂମଣ୍ଡଳରେ ଭୂମଣ୍ଡଳସ୍ଥ ରାଜାଗଣଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରତିଫଳ ଦେବେ।
22 And they shall be swept together in a crowd, fettered for a pit, And shall be lowered into a dungeon, —And, after many days, shall they be punished.
ତହିଁରେ ଯେପରି ବନ୍ଦୀମାନେ କୂପରେ ଏକତ୍ରୀକୃତ ହୁଅନ୍ତି, ସେହିପରି ସେମାନେ ଏକତ୍ରୀକୃତ ହୋଇ ବନ୍ଦୀଗୃହରେ ରୁଦ୍ଧ ହେବେ, ପୁଣି, ଅନେକ ଦିନ ଉତ୍ତାରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ତତ୍ତ୍ୱାନୁସନ୍ଧାନ କରାଯିବ।
23 Then shall blush the silvery moon, Then turn pale the glowing sun, —Because Yahweh of hosts hath become king In Mount Zion And in Jerusalem, And before his Elders in glory,
ସେତେବେଳେ ଚନ୍ଦ୍ର ଅପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ ଓ ସୂର୍ଯ୍ୟ ଲଜ୍ଜିତ ହେବ; କାରଣ ସୈନ୍ୟାଧିପତି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସିୟୋନ ପର୍ବତରେ, ଯିରୂଶାଲମରେ ଓ ତାହାଙ୍କ ପ୍ରାଚୀନବର୍ଗର ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ମହାପ୍ରତାପରେ ରାଜତ୍ୱ କରିବେ।
