Isaiah 22
1 The oracle on the valley of vision, —What aileth thee, then, That thou art wholly gone up to the house-tops?
ख़्वाब की वादी के बारे में नबुव्वत अब तुम को क्या हुआ कि तुम सब के सब कोठों पर चढ़ गए?
2 With tumults, art thou filled, thou citadel in commotion! city exultant! Thy slain, are Not the slain, of the sword, Nor the dead in battle.
ऐ पुर शोर और ग़ौग़ाई शहर ऐ शादमान बस्ती तेरे मक़तूल न तलवार से क़त्ल हुए और न लड़ाई में मारे गए।
3 All thy ruler, having fled, together, by the bow, are taken captive: All found in thee have been taken captive, together, Far away, have they fled.
तेरे सब सरदार इकट्ठे भाग निकले, उनको तीर अन्दाज़ों ने ग़ुलाम कर लिया; जितने तुझ में पाए गए सब के सब, बल्कि वह भी जो दूर से भाग गए थे ग़ुलाम किए गए हैं।
4 For this cause, I said—Look away from me, Bitterly, will I weep, —Do not press to comfort me, For the ruin of the daughter of my people.
इसीलिए मैंने कहा, मेरी तरफ़ मत देखो, क्यूँकि मैं ज़ार — ज़ार रोऊँगा मेरी तसल्ली की फ़िक्र मत करो, क्यूँकि मेरी दुख़्तर — ए — क़ौम बर्बाद हो गई।
5 For a day of confusion and downtreading and perplexity, pertaineth to My Lord, Yahweh of hosts, in the valley of vision, an undermining of walls, and a crying for help to the mountain.
क्यूँकि ख़ुदावन्द रब्ब — उल — अफ़वाज की तरफ़ से ख़्वाब की वादी में, यह दुख और पामाली ओ — बेक़रारी और दीवारों को गिराने और पहाड़ों तक फ़रियाद पहुँचाने का दिन है।
6 Yea, Elam, beareth the quiver, With trains of men, [and] horsemen, —And, Kir, hath uncovered the shield.
क्यूँकि ऐलाम ने जंगी रथों और सवारों के साथ तरकश उठा लिया और क़ीर ने सिपर का ग़िलाफ़ उतार दिया।
7 And it hath come to pass that the choice of thy vales, are full of chariots; Yea, the horsemen, have set themselves, in array, at the gate.
और यूँ हुआ कि तेरी बेहतरीन वादियाँ जंगली रथों से मा'मूर हो गईं और सवारों ने फाटक पर सफ़आराई की;
8 Then removed he the veil of Judah, —Yea thou didst peer on that day, into the armoury of the forest-house;
और यहूदाह का नक़ाब उतारा गया। और तू अब दश्त — ए — महल के सिलाहख़ाने पर निगाह करता है,
9 And the breaches in the city of David, ye beheld for they were many, —So ye gathered together the waters of the lower pool;
और तुम ने दाऊद के शहर के रख़ने देखे कि बेशुमार हैं; और तुम ने नीचे के हौज़ में पानी जमा' किया।
10 And the houses of Jerusalem, ye counted, —And brake down the houses, to fortify the wall;
और तुम ने येरूशलेम के घरों को गिना और उनको गिराया ताकि शहर पनाह को मज़बूत करो,
11 And a reservoir, ye made between the two walls, for the waters of the ancient pool, —And had no regard unto him that made it, Nor unto him that formed it long ago, had ye respect.
और तुम ने पुराने हौज़ के पानी के लिए दोनों दीवारों के बीच एक और हौज़ बनाया; लेकिन तुम ने उसके पानी पर निगाह न की और उसकी तरफ़ जिसने पहले से उसकी तदबीर की मुतवज्जह न हुए।
12 And, when My Lord Yahweh of hosts called in that day, —for weeping, and for lamentation, and for shaving bare and for girding with sackcloth,
और उस वक़्त ख़ुदावन्द रब्ब — उल — अफ़वाज ने रोने और मातम करने, और सिर मुन्डाने और टाट से कमर बाँधने का हुक्म दिया था;
13 Then lo! joy and rejoicing, killing oxen and slaughtering sheep, eating flesh and drinking wine, —Let us eat and drink, For to-morrow, we may die!
लेकिन देखो, ख़ुशी और शादमानी, गाय बैल को ज़बह करना और भेड़ — बकरी को हलाल करना और गोश्त ख़्वारी — ओ — मयनोशी कि आओ खाएँ और पियें क्यूँकि कल तो हम मरेंगे।
14 Therefore did Yahweh reveal himself in mine ears. Surely there shall be no propitiatory-covering put over this iniquity for you until ye die, Saith My Lord Yahweh of hosts.
और रब्ब — उल — अफ़्वाज ने मेरे कान में कहा, कि तुम्हारी इस बदकिरदारी का कफ़्फ़ारा तुम्हारे मरने तक भी न हो सकेगा यह ख़ुदावन्द रब्ब — उल — अफ़वाज का फ़रमान है।
15 Thus, said My Lord Yahweh, of hosts, Come go in unto this steward, Unto Shebna, who is over the house:
ख़ुदावन्द रब्ब — उल — अफ़वाज यह फ़रमाता है कि उस ख़ज़ान्ची शबनाह के पास जो महल पर मु'अय्यन है, जा और कह:
16 What doest thou here? And whom hast thou here? That thou hast hewn for thyself here a sepulchre, —As one hewing on high his sepulchre, Cutting out in the cliff a habitation for himself?
तू यहाँ क्या करता है? और तेरा यहाँ कौन है कि तू यहाँ अपने लिए क़ब्र तराश्ता है? बुलन्दी पर अपनी क़ब्र तराश्ता है और चट्टान में अपने लिए घर खुदवाता है।
17 Lo! Yahweh, is about to hurl thee, with a hurl, O mighty man, —And roll thee with a roll;
देख, ऐ ज़बरदस्त, ख़ुदावन्द तुझ को ज़ोर से दूर फेंक देगा; वह यक़ीनन तुझे पकड़ रख्खेगा।
18 He will, toss, thee, with a toss, like a ball, into a country wide on both hands, —There, shalt thou die, And there shall thy glorious chariots be the contempt of the house of thy lord.
वह बेशक तुझ को गेंद की तरह घुमा — घुमाकर बड़े मुल्क में उछालेगा; वहाँ तू मरेगा और तेरी हश्मत के रथ वहीं रहेंगे, ऐ अपने आक़ा के घर की रुस्वाई।
19 Thus will I thrust thee out from thine office, —And from thy station, shall one tear thee down.
और मैं तुझे तेरे मन्सब से बरतरफ़ करूँगा, हाँ वह तुझे तेरी जगह से खींच उतारेगा।
20 And it shall come to pass in that day, That I will call for my servant, for Eliakim son of Hilkiah,
और उस रोज़ यूँ होगा कि मैं अपने बन्दे इलियाक़ीम — बिन — ख़िलक़ियाह को बुलाऊँगा,
21 And will clothe him with thy tunic And with thy girdle, will I gird him, And thine authority, will I deliver into his hand, —So shall he become a father To the inhabitant of Jerusalem and To the house of Judah.
और मैं तेरा ख़िल'अत उसे पहनाऊँगा और तेरा पटका उस पर कसूँगा, और तेरी हुकूमत उसके हाथ में हवाले कर दूँगा; और वह अहल — ए — येरूशलेम का और बनी यहूदाह का बाप होगा।
22 And I will lay the key of the house of David upon his shoulder, —And he shall open and none shall shut, And shut and none shall open;
और मैं दाऊद के घर की कुंजी उसके कन्धे पर रख्खूँगा, तब वह खोलेगा और कोई बन्द न करेगा; और वह बन्द करेगा और कोई न खोलेगा।
23 And I will fasten him as a peg in a sure place, —And he shall become a throne of glory, to the house of his father;
और मैं उसको खूँटी की तरह मज़बूत जगह में मुहकम करूँगा, और वह अपने बाप के घराने के लिए जलाली तख़्त होगा।
24 And they shall hang upon him all the weight of his father’s house—The offshoots and the side-twigs—All the small vessels, Both the cups and all the jugs
और उसके बाप के ख़ान्दान की सारी हशमत या'नी आल — ओ — औलाद और सब छोटे — बड़े बर्तन प्यालों से लेकर क़राबों तक सबको उसी से मन्सूब करेंगे।
25 In that day, —Declareth Yahweh of hosts Shall the peg, give way, that was fastened in a sure place, —Yea it shall be cut off and fall And the burden that was upon it shall perish, For, Yahweh, hath spoken!
रब्ब — उल — अफ़वाज फ़रमाता है, उस वक़्त वह खूँटी जो मज़बूत जगह में लगाई गई थी हिलाई जाएगी, और वह काटी जाएगी और गिर जाएगी, और उस पर का बोझ गिर पड़ेगा; क्यूँकि ख़ुदावन्द ने यूँ फ़रमाया है।
