< Isaiah 22 >

1 The oracle on the valley of vision, —What aileth thee, then, That thou art wholly gone up to the house-tops?
Ti pakaammo maipapan iti tanap ti sirmata. Ania ti makagapu nga immulikayo amin kadagiti tuktok dagiti balbalay?
2 With tumults, art thou filled, thou citadel in commotion! city exultant! Thy slain, are Not the slain, of the sword, Nor the dead in battle.
Maysa a siudad a natagari, maysa nga ili a napnoan ti ramrambak; saan a napapatay dagiti minatayyo babaen iti kampilan, ken saanda a natay iti gubat.
3 All thy ruler, having fled, together, by the bow, are taken captive: All found in thee have been taken captive, together, Far away, have they fled.
Naglibas a sangsangkamaysa dagiti amin a mangiturturaymo, ngem natiliwda nga awanan iti pana, natiliw ken naipanawda amin a sangsangkamaysa; naglibasda manipud iti adayo.
4 For this cause, I said—Look away from me, Bitterly, will I weep, —Do not press to comfort me, For the ruin of the daughter of my people.
Isu a kinunak, “Saandak a kitaen, agsangitakto iti nasaem; saandak a padasen a liwliwaen maipapan iti pannakadadael ti anak a babai dagiti tattaok.”
5 For a day of confusion and downtreading and perplexity, pertaineth to My Lord, Yahweh of hosts, in the valley of vision, an undermining of walls, and a crying for help to the mountain.
Ta adda aldaw ti pannakariribuk, pannakadadael, ken pannakaburibor manipud iti Apo, a ni Yahweh a Mannakabalin-amin, iti tanap ti sirmata, pannakarebba dagiti pader, ken panagsangsangit dagiti tattao kadagiti banbantay.
6 Yea, Elam, beareth the quiver, With trains of men, [and] horsemen, —And, Kir, hath uncovered the shield.
Alaen ti Elam ti taguban, kaduana dagiti lallaki a naglugan kadagiti karwahe ken nakakabalio, ken isagana ti Kir ti kalasag.
7 And it hath come to pass that the choice of thy vales, are full of chariots; Yea, the horsemen, have set themselves, in array, at the gate.
Mapasamakto a dagiti kasasayaatan a tantanapmo ket mapunno kadagiti karwahe ken agpwestonto dagiti kumakabalio iti ruangan.
8 Then removed he the veil of Judah, —Yea thou didst peer on that day, into the armoury of the forest-house;
Inikkatna ti salaknib ti Juda; ket iti dayta nga aldaw minatmatam dagiti armas iti uneg ti Palasio ti Kabakiran.
9 And the breaches in the city of David, ye beheld for they were many, —So ye gathered together the waters of the lower pool;
Nakitam a nagadu dagiti birri ti siudad ni David, ken inurnongmo ti danum iti akin-baba a pagurnongan iti danum.
10 And the houses of Jerusalem, ye counted, —And brake down the houses, to fortify the wall;
Binilangmo dagiti balbalay ti Jerusalem, ket rinebbam dagiti balbalay tapno patibkerem ti pader.
11 And a reservoir, ye made between the two walls, for the waters of the ancient pool, —And had no regard unto him that made it, Nor unto him that formed it long ago, had ye respect.
Nangaramidka iti pagurnongan iti danum iti nagbaetan dagiti dua a pader para iti danum iti daan a pagurnongan ti danum. Ngem saanmo a pinanunot ti nangaramid iti siudad, a nangplano iti daytoy iti nabayagen a panawen.
12 And, when My Lord Yahweh of hosts called in that day, —for weeping, and for lamentation, and for shaving bare and for girding with sackcloth,
Agayab ti Apo, a ni Yahweh a Mannakabalin-amin iti dayta nga aldaw para iti panagsangsangit, para iti panagladladingit, para iti pannakakuskos dagiti ulo ken iti panangikawes kadagiti nakersang a lupot.
13 Then lo! joy and rejoicing, killing oxen and slaughtering sheep, eating flesh and drinking wine, —Let us eat and drink, For to-morrow, we may die!
Ngem kitaem, nagramrambakkayo ketdi ken nagragragsakkayo, nagparpartikayo kadagiti baka ken karnero, nangnangankayo iti karne ken naqin-inumkayo iti arak; mangan ken uminumtayo, ta inton bigat, mataytayonton.
14 Therefore did Yahweh reveal himself in mine ears. Surely there shall be no propitiatory-covering put over this iniquity for you until ye die, Saith My Lord Yahweh of hosts.
Impakaammo daytoy ni Yahweh a Mannakabalin-amin kadagiti lapayagko: “Pudno a saankayto a mapakawan iti daytoy a nagbasolanyo, uray inton mataykayo,” kuna ti Apo a ni Yahweh a Mannakabalin-amin.
15 Thus, said My Lord Yahweh, of hosts, Come go in unto this steward, Unto Shebna, who is over the house:
Kinuna daytoy ti Apo a ni Yahweh a Mannakabalin-amin, “Mapanka iti daytoy a mangimatmaton, kenni Sebna a mangimatmaton iti balay ket ibagam,
16 What doest thou here? And whom hast thou here? That thou hast hewn for thyself here a sepulchre, —As one hewing on high his sepulchre, Cutting out in the cliff a habitation for himself?
'Ania ti adda kenka ditoy ken siasinoka ta nangkalika iti maysa a tanem? Nangkalkalika iti tanem iti nangato a disso, nangkitkitikitka iti disso a paginanaam iti dakkel a bato'”
17 Lo! Yahweh, is about to hurl thee, with a hurl, O mighty man, —And roll thee with a roll;
Kitaem, ipurruaknakanto ni Yahweh, nasiglat a tao, ipurruaknakanto; gammatannakanto iti nairot.
18 He will, toss, thee, with a toss, like a ball, into a country wide on both hands, —There, shalt thou die, And there shall thy glorious chariots be the contempt of the house of thy lord.
Sigurado nga iwallawallagesnakanto, ken ipurruaknakanto a kasla maysa a bola iti nalawa a pagilian. Mataykanto sadiay ken maipanto sadiay dagiti agkakapintas a karwahem; sikanto ti pakaibabainan ti balay ti apom!
19 Thus will I thrust thee out from thine office, —And from thy station, shall one tear thee down.
“Ikkatenkanto manipud iti saadmo ken iti nakaisaadam. Maipababakanto.
20 And it shall come to pass in that day, That I will call for my servant, for Eliakim son of Hilkiah,
Mapasamakto iti dayta nga aldaw nga ayabak ti adipenko a ni Eliakim a putot ni Hilkias.
21 And will clothe him with thy tunic And with thy girdle, will I gird him, And thine authority, will I deliver into his hand, —So shall he become a father To the inhabitant of Jerusalem and To the house of Judah.
Ikaweskonto kenkuana ti kagaymo ken ibarikeskonto kenkuana ti barikesmo, ken iyakarkonto iti imana ti turaymo. Agbalinto isuna nga ama kadagiti agnanaed iti Jerusalem ken iti balay ti Juda.
22 And I will lay the key of the house of David upon his shoulder, —And he shall open and none shall shut, And shut and none shall open;
Ikabilkonto iti abagana ti tulbek ti balay ni David; luktannanto ket awanto ti makaiserra; ilukatnanto ket awanto iti makaiserra.
23 And I will fasten him as a peg in a sure place, —And he shall become a throne of glory, to the house of his father;
Kas iti maysa a lansa, ipalokkonto isuna iti natalged a lugar, ket agbalinto isuna a trono ti dayaw iti balay ti amana.
24 And they shall hang upon him all the weight of his father’s house—The offshoots and the side-twigs—All the small vessels, Both the cups and all the jugs
Ibitindanto kenkuana dagiti amin a pammadayaw iti balay ti amana, dagiti annakna ken dagiti kaputotanna, tunggal bassit a pagkargaan manipud kadagiti sartin agingga kadagiti amin a burnay.
25 In that day, —Declareth Yahweh of hosts Shall the peg, give way, that was fastened in a sure place, —Yea it shall be cut off and fall And the burden that was upon it shall perish, For, Yahweh, hath spoken!
Iti dayta nga aldaw — daytoy ti pakaammo ni Yahweh a Mannakabalin-amin — lumukayto ti pasok a naipalok iti natibker a lugar, matukkol ket matnag, ket ti dagsen nga adda iti daytoy ket mapukawto — ta isu ti kinuna ni Yahweh.
