Isaiah 16
1 Send ye the lamb due to the ruler of the land, From Sela towards the desert, —Unto the mount of the daughter of Zion;
Pagpadala ug mga toro nga karnero ngadto sa tigdumala sa yuta nga gikan sa Sela diha sa kamingawan, ngadto sa bukid sa anak nga babaye sa Zion.
2 Yet shall it be that—Like wandering birds from a nest cast forth, Shall be the daughters of Moab, at the fords of Arnon.
Sama sa naglatagaw nga mga langgam ug sama sa nagkatibulaag nga salag, busa ang mga babaye sa Moab anaa sa mga tabokanan sa Suba sa Arnon.
3 Bring thou, in counsel, Execute thou judgment, Make as the night, thy shadow in the midst of high noon, —Hide thou the outcasts, The wanderer, do not thou reveal.
Paghatag ug panudlo ug buhata ang hustisya. Hatagi ug landong nga sama sa kagabhion taliwala sa kahayag; tagoi ang mga dinakpan; ayaw budhii ang mga dinakpan.
4 Let mine own outcasts, sojourn with thee, O Moab, become thou a covert to them from the face of the spoiler, —For vanished is the oppressor, At an end is extortion, They who tread down have ceased out of the land.
Papuy-a sila uban kaninyo, ang mga binihag nga gikan sa Moab; kinahanglan nga mahimo kamong tagoanang dapit alang kanila gikan sa tiglaglag.” Kay mahunong na ang pagdaudaog, ug maundang na ang pagpangdaot, ug mahanaw kadtong nagyatak gikan sa yuta.
5 So shall be established, in lovingkindness, a throne, And one shall sit thereon, in truth, in the home of David, —Judging—and seeking justice and speeding righteousness.
Matukod ang trono sa matinud-anong kasabotan; ug molingkod didto nga matinud-anon ang usa ka tawo nga gikan sa tolda ni David. Maghukom siya sumala sa iyang pagpangita ug hustisya ug pagbuhat sa matarong.
6 We have heard of the arrogance of Moab, Proud exceedingly! His haughtiness and his arrogance and his passion, Not true, are his boastings.
Nadungog namo ang garbo sa Moab, ang iyang pagkamapahitas-on, iyang pagkagarboso, ug ang iyang kasuko. Apan ang iyang mga pagpasigarbo, walay sulod nga pulong.
7 Therefore shall, Moab, howl for, Moab, All that belong to her, shall wail, —For the ruins of Kir-hareseth, shall they moan out Utterly stricken!
Busa magdangoyngoy ang Moab alang sa Moab—magdangoyngoy silang tanan! Pagsubo, kamong nalaglag sa hingpit, alang sa mga pan nga adunay pasas sa Kir Hareset.
8 For, the fields of Heshbon are withered—The vine of Sibmah, the owners of nations, have broken off ruddy branches, Unto Jazer, had they reached, They had spread abroad to the desert, —Her boughs, had stretched forth, had gone over to the sea.
Nangalaya ang mga kaumahan sa Heshbon sama sa kaparasan sa Sibma. Giyatakyatakan sa mga tigdumala sa mga nasod ang gipili nga kaparasan nga nakaabot ngadto sa Jazer ug mikatay ngadto sa disyerto. Mikatay ang mga udlot niini; nagpadulong kini sa dagat.
9 For this cause, will I bewail, in the wailing of Jazer, The vine of Sibmah, I will drench thee with my tears, O Heshbon and Elealeh, —For, upon thy fruit-harvest, and upon thy grain-harvest, the battle-shout, hath fallen.
Sa pagkatinuod mohilak ako uban sa Jazer alang sa kaparasan sa Sibma. Patubigan ko kamo pinaagi sa akong mga luha, Heshbon, ug Eleale. Kay gitapos ko ang mga panagsinggit sa kalipay diha sa inyong kaumahan alang sa mga bunga sa ting-init ug ting-ani.
10 Now shall be withdrawn rejoicing and exultation out of the garden-land, And, in the vineyards, shall be neither singing nor shouting, —Wine in the winepress, the treader, shall not tread, The vintage-shout, have I made to cease.
Nawala ang kasadya ug ang kalipay gikan sa mga mabungahon nga kahoy; ug wala nay panag-awit, ug panagsinggit diha sa kaparasan. Wala nay magpuga ug bino diha sa mga pug-anan ug ubas, kay gitapos ko ang panagsinggit niadtong nagpuga.
11 For this cause, mine inward parts—for Moab, like a lyre, shall make a plaintive sound, —Yea what is within me, for Kir-heres.
Busa nanghupaw ang akong kasingkasing sama sa alpa alang sa Moab, ug ang akong kinasulorang bahin alang sa Kir Hareset.
12 And it shall be—When it is seen that Moab hath laboured in vain on the high place, He shall enter into his holy place to pray, and shall not prevail,
Sa dihang kapuyon ang Moab ngadto sa tag-as nga dapit ug mosulod sa iyang templo aron moampo, walay kahimoan ang iyang mga pag-ampo.
13 This, is the word which Yahweh spake concerning Moab in, time past;
Mao kini ang pulong nga gisulti ni Yahweh kaniadto mahitungod sa Moab.
14 But now, hath Yahweh spoken saying, In three years, —as the years of a hireling, shall the glory of Moab be diminished, with all the great multitude, —even a very small remnant, of no account.
Nagsulti pag-usab si Yahweh, “Sulod sa tulo ka tuig, mahanaw na ang himaya sa Moab; bisan pa ug daghan ang katawhan, diyutay na lamang ang mahibilin ug dili mahinungdanon.”
