Hosea 5
1 Hear ye this—O priests, and attend, O house of Israel, and ye, House of the King, give ear, for, to you, pertaineth the sentence, —for, a snare, have ye been to Mizpah, and a net spread on Tabor.
ऐ काहिनो, ये बात सुनो! ऐ बनी — इस्राईल, कान लगाओ! ऐ बादशाह के घराने, सुनो! इसलिए कि फ़तवा तुम पर है; क्यूँकि तुम मिस्फ़ाह में फंदा और तबूर पर दाम बने हो।
2 And, a slaughter, have apostates deeply designed, —though, I, was a rebuker to them all.
बाग़ी खू़ँरेज़ी में ग़र्क हैं, लेकिन मैं उन सब की तादीब करूँगा।
3 I, have known Ephraim, and, Israel, hath not been hidden from me, —for, now, hast thou committed unchastity, O Ephraim, Israel, hath made himself impure.
मैं इफ़्राईम को जानता हूँ, और इस्राईल भी मुझ से छिपा नहीं; क्यूँकि ऐ इफ़्राईम, तू ने बदकारी की है; इस्राईल नापाक हुआ।
4 Their doings, will not suffer, them to return unto their God, —for, the spirit of unchastity, is within them, and, Yahweh, have they not known.
उनके 'आमाल उनको ख़ुदा की तरफ़ रुजू' नहीं होने देते क्यूँकि बदकारी की रूह उनमें मौजूद है और ख़ुदावन्द को नहीं जानते।
5 Therefore will the Excellency of Israel, answer, to his face, —and, Israel and Ephraim, shall stumble in their iniquity, even Judah with them, hath stumbled.
और फ़र्ख़ — ए — इस्राईल उनके मुँह पर गवाही देता है, और इस्राईल और इफ़्राईम अपनी बदकिरदारी में गिरेंगे, और यहूदाह भी उनके साथ गिरेगा।
6 With their flocks and with their herds, will they go to seek Yahweh, but shall not find him; he hath withdrawn himself from them.
वह अपने रेवड़ों और गल्लों के वसीले से ख़ुदावन्द के तालिब होंगे, लेकिन उसको न पाएँगे; वह उनसे दूर हो गया है।
7 With Yahweh, have they dealt treacherously, for, to alien children, have they given birth, —now, a new moon, shall devour them, with their portions.
उन्होंने ख़ुदावन्द के साथ बेवफ़ाई की, क्यूँकि उनसे अजनबी बच्चे पैदा हुए। अब एक महीने का 'अर्सा उनकी जायदाद के साथ उनको खा जाएगा।
8 Blow ye a horn in Gibeah, a trumpet in Ramah, —sound an alarm at Beth-aven, behind thee, O Benjamin!
जिब'आ में क़र्ना फूँको और रामा में तुरही। बैतआवन में ललकारो, कि ऐ बिनयमीन, ख़बरदार पीछे देख!
9 Ephraim, shall become, a desolation, in the day of rebuke: Throughout the tribes of Israel, have I hide known what is sure.
तादीब के दिन इफ़्राईम वीरान होगा। जो कुछ यक़ीनन होने वाला है मैंने इस्राईली क़बीलों को जता दिया है।
10 The rulers of Judah have become as they who remove a land-mark. Upon them, will I pour out, like water, my wrath.
यहूदाह के 'उमरा सरहदों को सरकाने वालों की तरह हैं। मैं उन पर अपना क़हर पानी की तरह उँडेलूंगा।
11 Oppressed, is Ephraim, crushed in judgment, —because he hath, wilfully, walked after falsehood.
इफ़्राईम मज़लूम और फ़तवे से दबा है क्यूँकि उसने पैरवी पर सब्र किया।
12 But, I, was like a moth, to Ephraim, —and like rotten wood to the house of Judah.
तब मैं इफ़्राईम के लिए कीड़ा हूँगा और यहूदाह के घराने के लिए घुन।
13 When Ephraim, saw, his injury, and Judah his wound, then went Ephraim unto Assyria, and [Judah] sent unto a hostile king, —yet, he, cannot heal you, nor will the wound, remove from you.
जब इफ़्राईम ने अपनी बीमारी और यहूदाह ने अपने ज़ख़्म को देखा तो इफ़्राईम असूर को गया और उस मुख़ालिफ़ बादशाह को दा'वत दी लेकिन वह न तो तुम को शिफ़ा दे सकता है और न तुम्हारे ज़ख़्म का 'इलाज कर सकता है।
14 For, I, will be as a lion unto Ephraim, and as a young lion to the house of Judah, —I, I, will tear in pieces, and depart, I will carry off, and none be able to rescue.
क्यूँकि मैं इफ़्राईम के लिए शेर — ए — बबर और बनी यहूदाह के लिए जवान शेर की तरह हूँगा। मैं हाँ मैं ही फाडूँगा और चला जाऊँगा। मैं उठा ले जाऊँगा और कोई छुड़ाने वाला न होगा।
15 I will depart, will return unto my place! till what time they acknowledge their guilt, and seek my face, —In their trouble, will they make for me diligent search.
मैं रवाना हूँगा और अपने घर को चला जाऊँगा जब तक कि वह अपने गुनाहों का इक़रार करके मेरे चहरे के तालिब न हों। वह अपनी मुसीबत में बड़ी सर गर्मी से मेरे तालिब होंगे।
