< Hosea 11 >
1 When Israel was, a child, then I loved him, —and, out of Egypt, called I my son.
Fony mbola zaza Isiraely, dia tiako izy, ary nantsoiko hiala tany Egypta ny zanako.
2 They invited them, —at once, they departed from before me, they, to the Baals, sacrificed, and, to the images, offered incense.
Nony nisy niantso azy, dia vao mainka nandositra ireny izy; Ho an’ ireo Bala kosa no amonoany zavatra hatao fanatitra, ary ho an’ ny sarin-javatra voasokitra no andoroany ditin-kazo manitra.
3 Yet, I, had taught Ephraim to walk, I used to take them upon mine arms, —But they acknowledged not that I had healed them.
Fa Izaho no nampianatra an’ i Efraima handeha. Eny, notrotroiko tamin’ ny sandriko aza izy. Nefa tsy fantany fa Izaho no nahasitrana azy.
4 With human cords, used I to draw them, with the bands of love, so became I unto them like those who remove the yoke [that was] on their jaws, —and, holding out [food] to him, I let him eat.
Tamin’ ny kofehy fitarihana olona no nitarihako azy, dia tamin’ ny mahazakan’ ny fitiavana; Ary efa toy izay manainga ny fehim-bava eo ambonin’ ny valanoranony Aho ka nanolo-kanina azy tsimoramora.
5 He was not to turn back into the land of Egypt, Howbeit, the Assyrian—he, became his king, for they refused to turn.
Tsy hiverina ho any amin’ ny tany Egypta izy, fa Asyria no ho mpanjakany, satria tsy nety nibebaka izy.
6 Therefore shall the sword, rage, in his cities, and make an end of his multitudes, and consume them, —because of their counsels.
Ary noho ny fisainany dia hisy sabatra hantsodina ao an-tanànany ka handrava sy handevona ny hidiny.
7 But, my people, are bent towards turning from me, though upwards they call them, none of them can lift them.
Minia miodina amiko ny oloko; Ary na dia antsoiny ho amin’ ny Avo aza izy, samy tsy mety miainga akory.
8 How can I give thee up, Ephraim? abandon thee Israel? How can I make thee as Admah? set thee as Zeboim? Mine own heart, turneth against me, at once, are kindled my compassions.
Hataoko ahoana e no fahafoy anao, ry Efraima, na ho fanolotra anao, ry Isiraely! Hataoko ahoana e no fanao anao ho tahaka an’ i Adma! Hataoko ahoana e no fametraka anao ho tahaka an’ i Zeboïma! Onena ny foko, mafy loatra ny alaheloko.
9 I cannot execute the glow of mine anger, I cannot turn to destroy Ephraim, —for, GOD, am, I, and not man, When thou drawest near, [I am] a Holy One, though I do not enter a city.
Tsy hanontolo fo Aho, na handringana an’ i Efraima intsony; Fa Andriamanitra Aho, fa tsy olona, dia ny Iray Masìna ao aminao, ka dia tsy ho avy amim-pahatezerana mirehitra Aho.
10 After Yahweh, let them go, Like a lion, will he roar, —When, he, shall roar, then let sons, come trembling, out of the West.
Harahin’ ireny Jehovah, hierona toy ny liona Izy; Eny, Izy no hierona, dia hanatona amin-kovitra avy any andrefana ny zanaka.
11 Let them come trembling like a small bird out of Egypt, and like a dove out of the land of Assyria, —so will I cause them to dwell by their own houses, Declareth Yahweh.
Hanatona amin-kovitra avy any Egypta toy ny voronkely izy, ary avy any amin’ ny tany Asyria toy ny voromailala; Ka dia hampitoeriko ao an-tranony izy, hoy Jehovah.
12 They have compassed me about—with denial, Ephraim, with deceit, the house of Israel, —but, Judah, hath, again and again, run riot with GOD, though, with the holy places, entrusted.
Efraima manodidina Ahy amin’ ny lainga, ary ny taranak’ Isiraely amin’ ny fitaka; Ary Joda mbola mikarenjy tsy manatona an’ Andriamanitra, dia ny Iray Masìna sy Mahatoky.
