Hebrews 1
1 Whereas, in many parts and in many ways of old, God spake unto the fathers, in the prophets,
Fordom talade Gud ofta, och i mångahanda måtto, till fäderna, genom Propheterna;
2 At the end of these days, He hath spoken unto us in his Son, —whom he hath appointed heir of all things, through whom also he hath made the ages; (aiōn g165)
På det yttersta i dessa dagar hafver han talat till oss genom Sonen; hvilken han satt hafver till arfvinga öfver all ting; genom hvilken han ock verldena gjort hafver; (aiōn g165)
3 Who, being an eradiated brightness of his glory, and an exact representation of his very being, also bearing up all things by the utterance of his power, purification of sins, having achieved, sat down on the right hand of the majesty in high places:
Hvilken, efter han är hans härlighets sken, och hans väsendes rätta beläte, och bär all ting med sitt kraftiga ord, och hafver rensat våra synder genom sig sjelf, sitter han på majestätsens högra sido i höjdene;
4 By so much becoming superior to the messengers, by as much as, going beyond them, he hath inherited a more distinguished name.
Så mycket bättre vorden än Änglarne, som han för dem högre Namn ärft hafver.
5 For unto which of the messengers said he at any time—My Son, art, thou, I, this day have begotten thee? and again—I, will become, his father, and, he, shall become my Son?
Ty till hvilken af Änglarna hafver han någon tid sagt: Du äst min Son, i dag hafver jag födt dig? Och åter: Jag skall vara hans Fader, och han skall vara min Son?
6 But, whensoever he again introduceth the first-begotten into the habitable earth, he saith—And let all God’s messengers worship him!
Och åter, då han införer den förstfödda i verldena, säger han: Och alle Guds Änglar skola tillbedja honom.
7 Even as to the messengers, indeed, he saith—Who maketh his messengers, winds, and his ministers of state, a fiery flame;
Men om Änglarna säger han: Han gör sina Änglar andar, och sina tjenare eldslåga.
8 but, as to the Son, —Thy throne, O God, is unto times age-abiding, and—A sceptre of equity, is the sceptre of his kingdom, (aiōn g165)
Men till Sonen: Gud, din stol varar ifrån evighet till evighet; dins rikes spira är en rättvis spira. (aiōn g165)
9 Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated lawlessness, —For this cause, hath God, thy God, anointed thee with the oil of exultation, beyond thy partners;
Du hafver älskat rättfärdighetena, och hatat orättfärdighetena; derföre hafver Gud, din Gud smort dig med glädjens oljo, mer än dina medbröder.
10 and—Thou, by way of beginning, Lord, the earth, didst found, and, the works of thy hands, are the heavens, —
Och du, Herre, grundade jordena af begynnelsen, och himlarna äro dina händers verk.
11 They, shall perish, but, thou, abidest still, and, all, as a mantle, shall be worn out,
De skola förgås; men du skall blifva, och de skola alle föråldras såsom ett kläde;
12 And, as if a robe, wilt thou fold them up, —as a mantle, and they shall be changed; but, thou, art the same, and thy years shall not fail.
Och såsom en klädnad skall du förvandla dem, och de varda förvandlade; men du blifver densamme, och din år hafva ingen ända.
13 But, to which of the messengers, hath he said, at any time—Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thy foes thy footstool?
Men till hvilken af Änglarna hafver han någon tid sagt: Sätt dig på mina högra hand, tilldess jag lägger dina fiendar dig till en fotapall?
14 Are they not, all, spirits, doing public service, —for ministry, sent forth, for the sake of them who are about to inherit salvation?
Äro de icke allesammans tjensteandar, utsände till tjenst för deras skull, som salighetena ärfva skola?
