< Hebrews 5 >
1 For, every high-priest who from among men is taken, on behalf of men, is appointed, as to the things pertaining unto God, that he may be offering [both] gifts and sacrifices for sins, —
Kuiti kila u kuhani nu mukulu, nuholanigwe kupuma mukati a antu, uholanigwe kimika badala ao mu intu ni yikigendi ni Itunda, iti wahume kupumya ku palung'wi isongelyo ni ipolya ku nsoko a milandu.
2 Able, to have a measure of feeling, for the ignorant and erring, —since, he also, is compassed with weakness;
Uhumile kipusha ku upolo ni apungu ni ikungumi ku nsoko ga nu ng'wenso mukola upilimikiigwe nu unyeku.
3 And, for this cause, is he obliged—as for the people, so also, for himself, —to be offering for sins;
Ku nsoko a ili, ukete mulimo nua kupumya isongelyo ku nsoko a milandu akwe anga nuitumaa ku milandu a antu.
4 And, not unto himself, doth one take the honour, but when called by God, just as, even Aaron:
Hangi kutili u muntu nuiholaa ikulyo ili ku nsoko akwe mukola, kuiti badala akwe, kusinja witangwe ni Itunda, anga nai utuile uHaruni.
5 Thus, also the Christ, glorified not himself to become a high-priest, but he that spake unto him—My Son, art, thou, I, this day, have begotten thee;
Ga nu Kristo shanga ai wipee ikulyo u ng'wenso ku kitendisaa mukola kutula kuhani nu mukulu. Badala akwe, Itunda ai uligitilye kitalakwe, “Uewe wi ng'wana nuane, lelo natulaa ni Tata nuako.”
6 As also, in a different place, he saith—Thou, art a priest, age-abidingly, according to the rank of Melchizedek: (aiōn )
Ingi anga nuiligityaa ga nu kipatyoo ingiiza, “Uewe ingi wi kuhani kali na kali ze yakilaa i pyani ang'wa Melkizedeki. (aiōn )
7 Who, in the days of his flesh, having offered up, both supplications and entreaties unto him that was able to save him out of death, with mighty outcries and tears, and been hearkened to by reason of his devoutness,
Matungo ni itungo nilakwe mu muili, ai ulompile nu kulompeela, ai umulopile Itunda ku liholi, ku nuanso nuhumile kumuguna kupuma mu nsha. Ku nsoko a utuna pihi nuakwe kung'wa Itunda, ai wigigwe.
8 Even though he was a son, yet learned, from what things he suffered, obedience;
Anga itule ai watulaa ng'wana, ai wimanyisilye kija ku makani nai amagilye.
9 And, being made perfect, became, to all them that obey him, Author of salvation age-abiding; (aiōnios )
Ai ukondaniigwe nu ku nzila iyi ai utendekile ku kila u muntu nu muhuiie ku nsoko a uguniki nua kali na kali. (aiōnios )
10 Being addressed by God as high-priest—according to the rank of Melchizedek.
ku kubagulwa ni Itunda anga Kuhani nu Mukulu ze yakilaa u ludimo nulang'wa Melkizedeki.
11 Concerning whom, great, is our discourse, and of difficult interpretation, to express, seeing that, slothful, have ye become in the hearing;
Ku kete idu nakuligitya kutula uYesu, kuiti ingi ikaku kumuganuila ku nsoko unyenye ingi miakata akija.
12 For, even when ye ought to be teachers, by reason of the time, again, have ye, need, that one be teaching, you, what are the first principles of the oracles of God, and have become such as have, need, of milk, not, of strong food;
Aga itule ku itungo ili aza mutakiwe kutula ang'walimu, ikili ukoli usanigwa nua muntu kumumanyisa umanyisigwa nua ng'wandyo nua ntendo nia lukani nulang'wa Itunda. Mutakiwe maele hangi shanga ludya nu lukaku.
13 For, every one partaking of milk, is unskilled in discourse of righteousness, for he is, a babe;
Kunsoko wihi nuing'wezaa i maele duu mugila u wizeeli mu lukani nula tai ane, kunsoko wakili mung'yinya.
14 But, to such as are mature, pertaineth, the strong food, to them who, by reason of habit, have their organs of perception well trained for discriminating both good and evil.
Ku ipande i lulya, ludya nu lukaku ingi ku antu niakulu, awo naza kunsoko a wizeeli nuao kutemanula i tai ane nu ubii amanyisigwe ku ulinga u uza nu ubi.
