1 In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.
Ke mutawauk, ke God El orala kusrao, faclu, ac ma nukewa,
2 Now, the earth, had become waste and wild, and darkness, was on the face of the roaring deep, —but, the Spirit of God, was brooding on the face of the waters,
faclu wangin lumah ac wangin koano. Lohsr matoltol afunla acn loal uh, ac Ngun lun God apisya fin kof uh.
3 And God said—Light, be, And light was.
Na God El fahk, “Lela in oasr kalem” — ac kalem uh sikyak.
4 And God saw the light, that it was, good, and God divided the light, from the, darkness;
God El insewowo ke ma El liye. Na El sraclik kalem liki lohsr uh,
5 and God called the light, day, but the darkness, called he, night. So it was evening—and it was morning, one day.
ac El pangon kalem uh “Len,” ac lohsr uh “Fong.” Ke safla eku sac na lotutang sikme — pa ingan len se emeet.
6 And God said, Let there be an expanse in the midst of the waters, and let it be a means of dividing, between waters and waters,
Ac God El fahk, “Lela in oasr sie lisrlisr inmasrlon kof uh, in sraclik kof uh liki kof uh.”
7 And God made the expanse, and it divided between the waters that were under the expanse and the waters that were above the expanse. And it was so.
Ouinge God El orala lisrlisr se ac sraclik kof ma oan ye lisrlisr sac liki kof ma oan lucng liki lisrlisr sac. Na orekla oana.
8 And God called the expanse, heavens. So it was evening—and it was morning, a, second day.

9 And God said—Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together, into one place, and let the dry—ground appear. And it was so.
Na God El fahk, “Lela kof ye acn engyeng uh in tukeni nu ke sie acn, tuh acn pao uh fah sikyak” — na orekla oana.
10 And God called, the dry-ground, land, but the gathering together of the waters, called he seas. And God saw that it was good.

11 And God said—Let the land put-forth vegetation—herb yielding seed, fruit-tree, bearing fruit after its kind, whose seed is within it on the land. And it was so,
Na El fahk, “Lela faclu in akkapye kain in mah nukewa ac kain in sak nukewa — na sikyak oana.

14 And God said—Let there be luminaries in the expanse of the heavens, to divide between the day and the night, —and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days and years;
Na God El fahk, “Lela mwe kalem uh in sikyak yen engyeng uh in sraclik len liki fong, ac in akkalemye pacl in mutawauk lun len, yac, ac pacl in akfulat,
15 yea let them be for luminaries in the expanse of the heavens, to give light on the earth. And it was so.
ac elos fah kalem inkusrao me ac tolak fin faclu” — ac ouinge orekla oana.
16 And God made the two great luminaries, —the greater luminary to rule the day, and the lesser luminary to rule the night, also the stars.
Ouinge God El orala kalem luo ma yohk uh: faht in leumi len, ac malem in leumi fong; El oayapa orala itu uh.
17 And God set them in the expanse of the heavens, —to give light on the earth;
El oakiya kalem inge inkusrao in tolak fin faclu,
18 and to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness. And God saw that it was good.

20 And God said—Let the waters swarm with an abundance of living soul, and, birds, shall fly over the earth, over the face of the expanse of the heavens.
Na God El fahk, “Lela inkof uh in nwanala ke kain in ma moul puspis, ac lela yen engyeng uh in sessesla ke won.”
21 And God created the great sea-monsters, —and every living soul that moveth—[with] which the waters swarmed after their kind and every winged bird—after its kind. And God saw that it was good.
Ouinge God El orala ma moul lulap in meoa uh, kain in ma moul nukewa ma muta inkof uh, ac kain in won nukewa. Ac God El liye ma El orala tuh na wo.

26 And God said—Let us make man in our image after our likeness—and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the bird of the heavens and over the tame-beast—and over all the land, and over every creeping thing, that creepeth on the land.
Na God El fahk, “Inge kut ac fah oru mwet uh: elos ac oana kut ac lumahlos ac oana lumasr. Ac fah oasr ku yorolos fin ik, won, ac ma orakrak nukewa, ma muna ac ma lemnak, ma yohk ac srik.”

Ouinge God El orala mwet uh, ac oralosla oana lumahl. El oralosla mukul ac mutan,
28 And God blessed them, and God said to them Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, —and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the bird of the heavens, and over every living thing that moveth on the land.
ac akinsewowoyalos, ac fahk, “Kowos in isus fahko in pus, tuh fwilin tulik nutuwos fah fahsrelik nu fin faclu nufon ac leumi ma inge. Nga filikowosi in karingin ma moul nukewa inkof uh, won yen engyeng uh, ac ma orakrak nukewa ma moul fin faclu.”
29 And God said—Lo! I have given to you—every herb yielding seed which is on the face of all the land, and every tree wherein is the fruit of a tree yielding seed, —to you, shall it be, for food;
Na God El fahk, “Nga akoela kain in mahsrik nukewa ac kain in fokinsak nukewa kowos in mongo kac,
