< Genesis 8 >
1 And God remembered Noah, and all the wild—beasts and all the tame-beasts that were with him in the ark, —and God caused a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters subsided;
Hinlah Pathen in Noah le gamsa hole gancha ho kong sunga umjouse ageldoh jingin, Leiset chunga huipi hattah ahin nun sahin ahile twisanglen chu ahung kem lheh tai.
2 and the fountains of the roaring-deep were shut, and the windows of the heavens, —and the heavy rain was restrained from the heavens;
Leinoi lam a twi ho jong along kang tan, chule chunglam a van'a kona go nasa tah a ju jong athip tan ahi.
3 and the waters returned from off the earth they went on returning, —and so the waters decreased at the end of a hundred and fifty days.
Hichun twisanglen chu leiset chunga kon in ni jakhat le ni som nga jouvin akang hei hoitan ahi.
4 And the ark rested, in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, —on the mountains of Ararat.
Hiti chun ni somle ni sagi lhinni lha sagi chan na chun kong chu Ararat molchunga ahung kinga tai.
5 But, the waters went on decreasing, until the tenth month, —in the tenth [month], on the first of the month, were seen the tops of the mountains.
Lhani le akeh jouvin twi chu ahung kemtul tul'in mol dang dang ho jong molvum ahung kimu pantan ahi.
6 And it came to pass at the end of forty days, that Noah opened the window of the ark that he had made;
Chujouvin ni somli jou chun Noah in huikot kong sunga asem chu ahin hong doh tan,
7 and sent forth a raven, —and it kept going forth and returning, until the drying up of the waters from off the earth.
Hichun vavom khat alha doh in ahile, leiset chung adung avaiyin aleng len, leiset chunga twi akan loulai jeh'in ahung kinungle kit tai.
8 And he sent forth a dove from him, —to see whether the waters had abated, from off the face of the ground;
Chuin Noah in jong leiset chunga twi kang soh tam ti vetna dingin vakhu khat alendoh sah kit'in ahi.
9 but the dove found no resting-place for the sole of her foot so she returned unto him into the ark, for, waters, were on the face of all the earth; and he put forth his hand and took her, and brought her in unto him, into the ark.
Hinlah vakhu chu kingah na ding mun amu hihlaiye, Ajeh chu twijin leiset achup nahlai jeh in ahung ki nungle kitin, hichun Noah in vakhu chu akhut a adomlhan asung langa akoi lha kit tai.
10 Then stayed he yet seven days more, —and, again sent forth the dove out of the ark.
Chuin ni sagi akho ngaiyin, chujouvin kong'a kon chun vakhu chu alha doh kit'a ahile,
11 And the dove came in unto him at eventide, and lo! a newly sprouted olive-leaf, in her mouth, —so Noah knew that the waters had abated from off the earth.
Vakhu chu nilhah lang in ama henglam'a ahung kile kit'in, vetau amuh achun athah beh a kiloulha Olive thingna khat ahin pon, hijeh chun Noah in jong leiset chunga twipi akangsoh tai, ti ahedoh pai jin ahi.
12 And he stayed yet seven days more, —and sent forth the dove, but she returned not again unto him any more.
Chujouvin Noah jong ni sagi ma akho ngai kit'in vakhu chu alha doh kit'in ahile vakhu chu ahung kinung le kit tapoi.
13 So it came to pass in the six hundred and first year at the beginning, on the first of the month, that the waters had dried up from off the earth, —and Noah removed the covering of the ark, and looked and lo! the face of the ground was dried.
Noah hinkho chu kum jagup le kum khatna lha masapen, chu che lha ni masapen ni chun leiset chunga twipi abonchan akang soh heltan, hijeh chun Noah'in jong kong kusin chu ahoh lhan agahven ahile leiset chung chu ana go heltan ahi.
14 And in the second month, on the twenty-seventh day of the month, was the earth dry.
Hiti chun lhani jou don chun leiset chung hoitah in ago hel tai.
15 So then, God spake to Noah, saying:
Hichun Pathen in ahoulimpin hitin ati,
16 Come forth out of the ark, —thou and thy wife, and thy sons, and thy sons’ wives with thee.
“Na boncha uvin kong sunga kon chun pot doh tauvin, nangma nahin, na jinu ahin, na chapate ahiuvin, chule na moute ahi uvin kilhon doh pin.
17 All the living creatures that are with thee of all flesh among birds, and among beasts, and among all the creeping things that creep on the earth, bring forth with thee, —and they shall swarm in the earth, and be fruitful and multiply, on the earth.
Tahsa a hing ganhing jouse, naum khompi ho vachate ahi uvin, gancha ho ahi uvin, leiset chunga a op'a kitholtho ho ahiuvin, hiche ho chu leiset letthe thua ahung chikhai uva, ahung hinphat uva chule ahung punjalna ding uvin hinpui doh tan,” ati.
18 So Noah came forth, —and his sons and his wife, and his sons’ wives with him:
Hichun Noah ahin, ajinu ahin, achapate ho ahin amoute toh konga kon chun ahung potdoh tai.
19 All the living creatures, all that move along, and all birds, and all that moveth along over the earth—by their families, came forth out of the ark.
Chuin gancha jouse alen aneo abonchauvin vacha ho ahiuvin ni ni in akop kop in anu khat le achal khat konga konin ahung potdoh'un ahi.
20 And Noah builded an altar to Yahweh, —and took of all the clean beasts and of all the clean birds, and caused ascending Sacrifices to go up on the altar.
Hichun Noah in maicham Pathen henga asemin, hi achun aman kipeh dohna maicham pumgo thilto saho chule vacha ho amaho akipeh doh na dung jui cheh in pumgo thilto ding in agou vam in ahi.
21 And Yahweh smelled a satisfying odour, so Yahweh said to himself. I will not, again, curse any more the ground for man’s sake, although the device of the heart of man, be wicked from his youth, —neither will I again, any more smite every living thing, as I have done.
Chuin anam tui maicham ahung kisem jeh chun Pathen alung lhai lheh jengin hitin ama aki houlim in aseiye, “Mihem jeh in keiman leiset hi gaosap kit tapong'e, ajeh chu mihem lung ngaito him him hi aneocha kipat'a hung gilou pan ahi tai; chule ganhing ka semsa ho jong hi sumang kit tapong'e.
22 During all the days of the earth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat and summer and winter, and day and night, shall not cease.
Iti nama jongle leiset aum laisen muchi tuphat, chang aat phat, gam dap phat, gamsat phat, nipi lai le phalbi lai, sun laile jan beilou ding ahi,” ati.
