Genesis 7
1 And Yahweh said to Noah, Enter thou and all thy house, into the ark, —for, thee, have I seen righteous before me, in this generation.
Potem PAN powiedział do Noego: Wejdź ty wraz z całym twoim domem do arki, gdyż widziałem cię, że jesteś sprawiedliwy przede mną w tym pokoleniu.
2 Of all the clean beasts, shalt thou take to thee by sevens, a male and his female, —and, of the beasts that are not clean, shall be two a male and his female.
Z każdego zwierzęcia czystego weź sobie po siedem par, samca i samicę jego; ale ze zwierząt nieczystych – po [jednej] parze, samca i samicę jego.
3 Also of the bird of the heavens, by sevens, male and female, —to keep alive a seed on the face of all the earth.
Także z ptactwa niebieskiego po siedem par, samca i samicę, aby zachować przy życiu ich potomstwo na całej powierzchni ziemi.
4 For in seven days more, I, am sending rain on the earth, forty days and forty nights, —so will I wipe out all the living things which I have made, from off the face of the ground.
Pozostaje bowiem jeszcze siedem dni, a [potem] spuszczę deszcz na ziemię, na czterdzieści dni i czterdzieści nocy, i zgładzę z powierzchni ziemi wszelkie stworzenie, które uczyniłem.
5 And Noah did, —according to all that Yahweh commanded him.
Noe uczynił więc wszystko, co mu PAN rozkazał.
6 Now, Noah, was six hundred years old, —when, the flood, came, even waters on the earth.
Noe miał sześćset lat, gdy przyszedł potop wód na ziemię.
7 So Noah entered, and his sons and his wife and his sons’ wives with him into the ark, —from before the waters of the flood,
I wszedł Noe, a z nim jego synowie, jego żona i żony jego synów do arki ze względu na wody potopu.
8 Of the beasts that were clean, and of the beasts that were not clean, —and of the birds, and everything that creepeth on the ground,
Ze zwierząt czystych i nieczystych i z ptactwa, i ze wszystkiego, co pełza po ziemi;
9 two and two, went they in unto Noah, into the ark male and female, —as God commanded Noah.
Po parze weszło do Noego do arki, samiec i samica, jak Bóg rozkazał Noemu.
10 And it came to pass, in the seven days, —that the waters of the flood, came on the earth.
A po siedmiu dniach wody potopu spadły na ziemię.
11 In the six hundredth year, the year of the life of Noah. in the second month on the seventeenth day of the month on this day, were burst open all the fountains of the great roaring deep, and the windows of the heavens, were set open.
W sześćsetnym roku życia Noego, w drugim miesiącu, siedemnastego dnia [tego] miesiąca, w tym właśnie dniu, przerwały się wszystkie źródła wielkiej głębi i otworzyły się okna nieba.
12 (And it came to pass that the heavy rain was on the earth, —forty days and forty nights.)
I deszcz padał na ziemię czterdzieści dni i czterdzieści nocy.
13 On this selfsame day, entered Noah, and Shem and Ham and Japheth. Noah’s sons, —and Noah’s wife, and his sons’ three wives with them into the ark:
W tym właśnie dniu weszli do arki Noe oraz jego synowie – Sem, Cham i Jafet, a z nimi żona Noego i trzy żony jego synów.
14 they, and all the wild-beasts after their kind and all the tame-beasts after their kind, and all the creeping things that creep on the earth after their kind, —and all the birds after their kind, every bird of every wing.
Oni i wszelkie zwierzęta według swego rodzaju, wszelkie bydło według swego rodzaju, wszelkie zwierzęta pełzające, które pełzają po ziemi według swego rodzaju, wszelkie ptaki według swego rodzaju [i] wszelkie stworzenia skrzydlate.
15 So they entered in unto Noah, into the ark, —two and two of all flesh, wherein was the spirit of life.
I tak weszły do Noego do arki, po parze z każdego ciała, w którym [było] tchnienie życia.
16 And, they that entered, male and female of all flesh, entered, as God commanded him, —and Yahweh shut him in round about.
A te, które weszły, samiec i samica z każdego ciała weszły, jak mu Bóg rozkazał. I zamknął PAN za nim [drzwi].
17 And it came to pass, that the flood was forty days on the earth, —and the waters increased and bare up the ark, and it was lifted high above the earth,
A potop trwał na ziemi czterdzieści dni i wody wezbrały, i podniosły arkę, i unosiła się nad ziemią.
18 And the waters prevailed and increased greatly, on the earth, —and the ark went its way on the face of the waters.
Wody wzmogły się i wezbrały bardzo nad ziemią, i pływała arka po wodach.
19 Yea the waters, prevailed very greatly, on the earth, —so that all the high mountains became covered, that were under all the heavens:
I wody bardzo się wzmogły nad ziemią, i zakryły wszystkie wysokie góry, które [były] pod całym niebem.
20 fifteen cubits upwards, prevailed the waters, so that the mountains became covered.
Wody wezbrały na piętnaście łokci wzwyż i góry zostały zakryte.
21 And all flesh ceased to breathe that moved on the earth, of birds and of tame-beasts and of wild-beasts, and of all the swarming things that swarm on the earth, —and all mankind.
Zginęło więc wszelkie ciało poruszające się na ziemi: ptactwo, bydło, zwierzęta i wszelkie zwierzęta pełzające, które pełzają po ziemi, i wszyscy ludzie.
22 All in whose nostrils was the breath of the spirit of life of all that were on the dry ground died.
Wszystko, co [miało] w nozdrzach tchnienie życia, wszystko, co żyło na suchym lądzie, zginęło.
23 Thus was wiped out all that existed on the face of the ground, from man unto beast unto creeping thing, and unto the bird of the heavens, thus were they wiped out from the earth, —so that there was left—only Noah and they that were with him in the ark.
Tak zostało zgładzone wszelkie stworzenie, które [było] na powierzchni ziemi, od człowieka aż do bydła, zwierząt pełzających i ptactwa niebieskiego. Wszystko to zostało zgładzone z ziemi. Pozostał tylko Noe i ci, którzy z nim byli w arce.
24 Thus prevailed the waters on the earth, —a hundred and fifty days.
A wody wezbrały nad ziemią sto pięćdziesiąt dni.
