Genesis 7
1 And Yahweh said to Noah, Enter thou and all thy house, into the ark, —for, thee, have I seen righteous before me, in this generation.
അനന്തരം യഹോവ നോഹയോടു കല്പിച്ചതെന്തെന്നാൽ: നീയും സർവ്വകുടുംബവുമായി പെട്ടകത്തിൽ കടക്ക; ഞാൻ നിന്നെ ഈ തലമുറയിൽ എന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ നീതിമാനായി കണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.
2 Of all the clean beasts, shalt thou take to thee by sevens, a male and his female, —and, of the beasts that are not clean, shall be two a male and his female.
ശുദ്ധിയുള്ള സകലമൃഗങ്ങളിൽനിന്നും ആണും പെണ്ണുമായി ഏഴേഴും, ശുദ്ധിയില്ലാത്ത മൃഗങ്ങളിൽനിന്നു ആണും പെണ്ണുമായി ഈരണ്ടും,
3 Also of the bird of the heavens, by sevens, male and female, —to keep alive a seed on the face of all the earth.
ആകാശത്തിലെ പറവകളിൽനിന്നു പൂവനും പിടയുമായി ഏഴേഴും, ഭൂമിയിലൊക്കെയും സന്തതി ശേഷിച്ചിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നീ ചേർത്തുകൊള്ളേണം.
4 For in seven days more, I, am sending rain on the earth, forty days and forty nights, —so will I wipe out all the living things which I have made, from off the face of the ground.
ഇനി ഏഴുദിവസം കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടു ഞാൻ ഭൂമിയിൽ നാല്പതു രാവും നാല്പതു പകലും മഴ പെയ്യിക്കും; ഞാൻ ഉണ്ടാക്കീട്ടുള്ള സകല ജീവജാലങ്ങളെയും ഭൂമിയിൽനിന്നു നശിപ്പിക്കും.
5 And Noah did, —according to all that Yahweh commanded him.
യഹോവ തന്നോടു കല്പിച്ചപ്രകാരമൊക്കെയും നോഹ ചെയ്തു.
6 Now, Noah, was six hundred years old, —when, the flood, came, even waters on the earth.
ഭൂമിയിൽ ജലപ്രളയം ഉണ്ടായപ്പോൾ നോഹെക്കു അറുനൂറു വയസ്സായിരുന്നു.
7 So Noah entered, and his sons and his wife and his sons’ wives with him into the ark, —from before the waters of the flood,
നോഹയും പുത്രന്മാരും അവന്റെ ഭാര്യയും പുത്രന്മാരുടെ ഭാര്യമാരും ജലപ്രളയം നിമിത്തം പെട്ടകത്തിൽ കടന്നു.
8 Of the beasts that were clean, and of the beasts that were not clean, —and of the birds, and everything that creepeth on the ground,
ശുദ്ധിയുള്ള മൃഗങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നും ശുദ്ധിയില്ലാത്ത മൃഗങ്ങളിൽനിന്നും പറവകളിൽനിന്നും ഭൂമിയിലുള്ള ഇഴജാതിയിൽനിന്നൊക്കെയും,
9 two and two, went they in unto Noah, into the ark male and female, —as God commanded Noah.
ദൈവം നോഹയോടു കല്പിച്ചപ്രകാരം ഈരണ്ടീരണ്ടു ആണും പെണ്ണുമായി നോഹയുടെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നു പെട്ടകത്തിൽ കടന്നു.
10 And it came to pass, in the seven days, —that the waters of the flood, came on the earth.
ഏഴു ദിവസം കഴിഞ്ഞശേഷം ഭൂമിയിൽ ജലപ്രളയം തുടങ്ങി.
11 In the six hundredth year, the year of the life of Noah. in the second month on the seventeenth day of the month on this day, were burst open all the fountains of the great roaring deep, and the windows of the heavens, were set open.
നോഹയുടെ ആയുസ്സിന്റെ അറുനൂറാം സംവത്സരത്തിൽ രണ്ടാം മാസം പതിനേഴാം തിയ്യതി, അന്നുതന്നേ ആഴിയുടെ ഉറവുകൾ ഒക്കെയും പിളർന്നു; ആകാശത്തിന്റെ കിളിവാതിലുകളും തുറന്നു.
12 (And it came to pass that the heavy rain was on the earth, —forty days and forty nights.)
നാല്പതു രാവും നാല്പതു പകലും ഭൂമിയിൽ മഴ പെയ്തു.
13 On this selfsame day, entered Noah, and Shem and Ham and Japheth. Noah’s sons, —and Noah’s wife, and his sons’ three wives with them into the ark:
അന്നുതന്നേ നോഹയും നോഹയുടെ പുത്രന്മാരായ ശേമും ഹാമും യാഫേത്തും നോഹയുടെ ഭാര്യയും അവന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരുടെ മൂന്നു ഭാര്യമാരും പെട്ടകത്തിൽ കടന്നു.
14 they, and all the wild-beasts after their kind and all the tame-beasts after their kind, and all the creeping things that creep on the earth after their kind, —and all the birds after their kind, every bird of every wing.
അവരും അതതു തരം കാട്ടുമൃഗങ്ങളും അതതു തരം കന്നുകാലികളും നിലത്തു ഇഴയുന്ന അതതു തരം ഇഴജാതിയും അതതു തരം പറവകളും അതതു തരം പക്ഷികളും തന്നേ.
15 So they entered in unto Noah, into the ark, —two and two of all flesh, wherein was the spirit of life.
ജീവശ്വാസമുള്ള സർവ്വജഡത്തിൽനിന്നും ഈരണ്ടീരണ്ടു നോഹയുടെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നു പെട്ടകത്തിൽ കടന്നു.
16 And, they that entered, male and female of all flesh, entered, as God commanded him, —and Yahweh shut him in round about.
ദൈവം അവനോടു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ അകത്തു കടന്നവ സർവ്വജഡത്തിൽനിന്നും ആണും പെണ്ണുമായി കടന്നു; യഹോവ വാതിൽ അടെച്ചു.
17 And it came to pass, that the flood was forty days on the earth, —and the waters increased and bare up the ark, and it was lifted high above the earth,
ഭൂമിയിൽ നാല്പതു ദിവസം ജലപ്രളയം ഉണ്ടായി, വെള്ളം വർദ്ധിച്ചു പെട്ടകം പൊങ്ങി, നിലത്തുനിന്നു ഉയർന്നു.
18 And the waters prevailed and increased greatly, on the earth, —and the ark went its way on the face of the waters.
വെള്ളം പൊങ്ങി ഭൂമിയിൽ ഏറ്റവും പെരുകി; പെട്ടകം വെള്ളത്തിൽ ഒഴുകിത്തുടങ്ങി.
19 Yea the waters, prevailed very greatly, on the earth, —so that all the high mountains became covered, that were under all the heavens:
വെള്ളം ഭൂമിയിൽ അത്യധികം പൊങ്ങി, ആകാശത്തിൻ കീഴെങ്ങുമുള്ള ഉയർന്ന പർവ്വതങ്ങളൊക്കെയും മൂടിപ്പോയി.
20 fifteen cubits upwards, prevailed the waters, so that the mountains became covered.
പർവ്വതങ്ങൾ മൂടുവാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം വെള്ളം പതിനഞ്ചു മുഴം അവെക്കു മീതെ പൊങ്ങി.
21 And all flesh ceased to breathe that moved on the earth, of birds and of tame-beasts and of wild-beasts, and of all the swarming things that swarm on the earth, —and all mankind.
പറവകളും കന്നുകാലികളും കാട്ടുമൃഗങ്ങളും നിലത്തു ഇഴയുന്ന എല്ലാ ഇഴജാതിയുമായി ഭൂചരജഡമൊക്കെയും സകലമനുഷ്യരും ചത്തുപോയി.
22 All in whose nostrils was the breath of the spirit of life of all that were on the dry ground died.
കരയിലുള്ള സകലത്തിലും മൂക്കിൽ ജീവശ്വാസമുള്ളതൊക്കെയും ചത്തു.
23 Thus was wiped out all that existed on the face of the ground, from man unto beast unto creeping thing, and unto the bird of the heavens, thus were they wiped out from the earth, —so that there was left—only Noah and they that were with him in the ark.
ഭൂമിയിൽ മനുഷ്യനും മൃഗങ്ങളും ഇഴജാതിയും ആകാശത്തിലെ പറവകളുമായി ഭൂമിയിൽ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന സകലജീവജാലങ്ങളും നശിച്ചുപോയി; അവ ഭൂമിയിൽനിന്നു നശിച്ചുപോയി; നോഹയും അവനോടുകൂടെ പെട്ടകത്തിൽ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നവരും മാത്രം ശേഷിച്ചു.
24 Thus prevailed the waters on the earth, —a hundred and fifty days.
വെള്ളം ഭൂമിയിൽ നൂറ്റമ്പതു ദിവസം പൊങ്ങിക്കൊണ്ടിരുന്നു.
