Genesis 6

1 And it came to pass when men had begun to multiply on the face of the ground and daughters had been born to them,

کاتێک مرۆڤەکان لەسەر زەوی دەستیان بە زۆربوون کرد و کچیان بوو،

2 that the sons of God saw the daughters of men! that they were, fair, —so they took to themselves wives of whomsoever they chose,

کوڕانی خودا بینییان کچانی مرۆڤ جوانن. جا لە هەموو ئەوانەی هەڵیانبژاردن ژنیان هێنا.

3 And Yahweh said—My spirit shall not rule in man to times age—abiding, for that, he also, is flesh, —Yet his days shall be a hundred and twenty years.

ئینجا یەزدان فەرمووی: «ڕۆحی من هەتاسەر ململانێ لەگەڵ مرۆڤ ناکات، چونکە مەرگدارن؛ ڕۆژانی ژیانیان دەبێتە سەد و بیست ساڵ.»

4 The giants, were in the earth in those days, and also, after that, when the sons of God began to go in unto the daughters of men, and sons were born to them, the same, were the heroes that were from age-past times the men of renown.

لەو ڕۆژانەدا لەسەر زەوی نەفیلیم هەبوون. لەدوای ئەوەی کوڕانی خودا چوونە لای کچانی مرۆڤ منداڵیان لێیان بوو، منداڵەکان بوونە ئەو پاڵەوانانەی کە لە کۆنەوە ناوبانگیان هەیە.

5 Then Yahweh saw that great, was the wickedness of man in the earth, and that, every purpose of the devices of his heart, was only wicked all the day;

یەزدان بینی کە خراپەکاری مرۆڤ لەسەر زەوی زۆر بووە، هەروەها هەموو بیروبۆچوونەکانی دڵیشی بە درێژایی ڕۆژ تەنها لەلای خراپەیە.

6 and it grieved Yahweh, that he had made man in the earth, —and he took sorrow unto his heart.

یەزدان خەفەتبار بوو کە مرۆڤی لەسەر زەوی دروستکردبوو، هەروەها دڵگرانیش بوو.

7 And Yahweh said—I must wipe off man whom I created from off the face of the ground, from man unto beast unto creeping thing, and unto the bird of the heavens, —for I am grieved that I made them.

ئیتر یەزدان فەرمووی: «مرۆڤ دەسڕمەوە، ئەوەی لەسەر ڕووی زەوی دروستم کرد، مرۆڤ و ئاژەڵ و بوونەوەری خشۆک و باڵندەی ئاسمان، چونکە خەفەت دەخۆم لەوانەی کە دروستم کردوون.»

8 But, Noah, had found favour in the eyes, of Yahweh.

بەڵام نوح لەبەرچاوی یەزدان ڕەزامەندی بەدەستهێنابوو.

9 These, are the generations of Noah, Noah, was, a righteous man blameless, in his generations, —with God, did Noah walk.

ئەمانەش نەوەکانی نوحن. نوح پیاوچاک و بێ کەموکوڕی نێو خەڵکانی سەردەمی خۆی بوو، دۆستی خودا بوو.

10 And Noah begat three sons, —Shem, Ham and Japheth.

نوح سێ کوڕی بوو: سام و حام و یافەت.

11 And the earth corrupted itself before God, —and the earth was filled with violence,

زەویش لەبەردەم خودا گەندەڵ بوو و پڕیش بوو لە توندوتیژی.

12 And God beheld the earth, and lo! it had corrupted itself, —surely all flesh had corrupted its way, on the earth.

خودا بینی زەوی چەند گەندەڵ بووە، چونکە هەموو مرۆڤێک ژیانی خۆی لەسەر زەوی گەندەڵ کردبوو.

13 So God said unto Noah: the end of all flesh, hath come in before me, for, filled, is the earth with violence, because of them, —behold me, then, destroying them with the earth.

ئیتر خودا بە نوحی فەرموو: «من کۆتایی بە بوونی هەموو ئادەمیزاد دەهێنم، چونکە بەهۆی ئەوانەوە زەوی پڕ بووە لە توندوتیژی. وا لەگەڵ زەوی لەناویان دەبەم.

14 Make for thee an ark of timbers of gopher, rooms, shalt thou make with the ark, —and thou shalt cover it within and without with pitch.

کەشتییەک بۆ خۆت لە تەختەی دار سەروو دروستبکە و بیکە بە لانە و بە قیر دیوی ناوەوە و دەرەوەی سواخ بدە.

15 And, this, is how thou shalt make it, —three hundred cubits, the length of the ark, fifty cubits, the breadth thereof, and thirty cubits the height thereof.

بەم شێوەیەش دروستی بکە: درێژییەکەی سێ سەد باڵ و پانییەکەی پەنجا باڵ و بەرزییەکەی سی باڵ بێت.

16 A place for light, shalt thou make to the ark and to a cubit, shalt thou finish it upwards, and the opening of the ark—in the side thereof, shalt thou put, —with lower, second and third stories, shalt thou make it.

لە بەشی سەرەوەی کەشتییەکە بە ئەندازەی باڵێک بۆشایی بەجێ بهێڵە، ئینجا سەربانێکی بۆ دروست بکە. دەرگای کەشتییەکەش لەتەنیشتەوە دابنێ. با سێ نهۆم بێت، خوارەوە و ناوەڕاست و سەرەوە.

17 And, I, behold me! bringing in the flood—even waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh wherein is the spirit of life, from under the heavens, —everything that is in the earth, shall cease to breathe:

من وا ئاوی لافاو بەسەر زەویدا دەهێنم، بۆ لەناوبردنی هەموو ژیانێک لەژێر ئاسمان، هەروەها هەموو زیندەوەرێک کە هەناسەی ژیانی تێدایە. هەرچییەک لەسەر زەوییە لەناودەچێت.

18 therefore will I establish my covenant with thee, —and thou shalt enter into the ark, thou, and thy sons, and thy wife, and thy sons’ wives, with thee.

بەڵام من پەیمانی خۆم لەگەڵ تۆ دەچەسپێنم. تۆ دەچیتە ناو کەشتییەکەوە، خۆت و کوڕەکانت و ژنەکەت و بووکەکانیشت لەگەڵت.

19 Moreover of all the living creatures of all flesh—two of each, shalt thou bring into the ark to keep alive with thee, —male and female, shall they be.

لە هەموو بوونەوەرێکی زیندوو، نێر و مێ، جووتێک لەگەڵ خۆت دەهێنیتە ناو کەشتییەکەوە، بۆ هێشتنەوەیان بە زیندووێتی.

20 Of the bird after its kind and of the beast after its kind, [and] of every creeping thing of the ground after its kind, two of each, shall come in unto thee. for keeping alive.

جووتێک لە هەموو جۆرەکانی باڵندە و ئاژەڵ و بوونەوەرە خشۆکەکانی زەوی دێنە لات، بۆ ئەوەی بە زیندوویی بمێننەوە.

21 But thou, take to thee of all food that is eaten, and gather it unto thee, —and it shall be for thee and for them for food.

تۆش بۆ خۆت لە هەموو جۆرە خواردنێکی گونجاو ببە و لەلای خۆت کۆی بکەرەوە، تاکو ببێتە خواردنی خۆت و ئەوان.»

22 And Noah did [so], —according to all that God commanded him, so did he.

جا نوح هەموو ئەوەی خودا فەرمانی پێ کردبوو، ئەنجامی دا.
