< Genesis 49 >

1 Then called Jacob unto his sons, —and said—Gather yourselves together, and let me tell you, that which shall befall you in the afterpart of the days.
Pambuyo pake Yakobo anayitanitsa ana ake aamuna nati: Sonkhanani pamodzi kuti ndikuwuzeni zimene zidzakuchitikireni mʼmasiku a mʼtsogolo.
2 Assemble yourselves and hear ye sons of Jacob, —And hearken unto Israel your father!
“Bwerani ndipo imvani mawu anga, inu ana a Yakobo; mverani abambo anu Israeli.
3 Reuben, my first-born, thou, My vigour, and the first-fruit of my strength, —Pre-eminence of elevation and pre-eminence of power:
“Rubeni, ndiwe woyamba kubadwa; mphamvu yanga ndiponso chizindikiro choyamba cha mphamvu zanga, wopambana pa ulemerero ndi mphamvu.
4 Boiling over like water, thou mayest not have pre-eminence, Because thou didst mount the bed of thy father, —Then, wast thou profane—My marriage-bed, he mounted!
Wokokoma ngati madzi a chigumula, koma sudzakhalanso wopambana, iwe unagona pa bedi la abambo ako, ndithu unayipitsa bedi la mdzakazi wake.
5 Simeon and Levi, are brethren, —Instruments of violence, are their agreements:
“Simeoni ndi Levi ndi pachibale pawo, anachitira nkhanza anthu amene anachita nawo pangano.
6 Into their circle, do not thou enter my soul! In their convocation, do not thou join mine honour! For in their anger, they slew brave men, And in their wantonness, they ham-strung oxen.
Iwe moyo wanga, usakhale nawo pa misonkhano yawo ya mseri, kapena kugwirizana nawo mʼmabwalo awo, pakuti anapha anthu mu mkwiyo wawo ndipo anapundula ngʼombe zamphongo monga kunawakomera.
7 Accursed, be their anger, because fierce, And their wrath because cruel, —I divide them in Jacob, And I disperse them in Israel.
Matemberero awagwere chifukwa cha mkwiyo wawo woopsa chonchi ndi ukali wawo wankhanza choterewu! Ine ndidzawabalalitsa mʼdziko la Yakobo ndi kuwamwaza iwo mʼdziko la Israeli.
8 Judah, as for thee, thy brethren shall praise thee when thy hand is on the neck of thy foes, —The sons of thy father, shall bow them-selves down to thee:
“Yuda, ndiwe amene abale ako adzatamanda; dzanja lako lidzagwira pa khosi pa adani ako; abale ako adzakugwadira iwe.
9 A lion’s whelp, is Judah, From the prey, my son hast thou come up! He hath stooped—hath crouched As a lion—or as a lioness, Who shall rouse him?
Yuda ali ngati mwana wa mkango; umabwerera ku malo ako ndi zofunkha, mwana wanga. Monga mkango, amadziwongola ndi kugona pansi, ndipo ngati mkango waukazi, ndani angalimbe mtima kumudzutsa?
10 The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, Nor the commander’s staff from between his feet, —Until that he come in as a Shiloh, And, his, be the obedience of the peoples:
Ndodo yaufumu sidzachoka mwa Yuda, udzawupanirira ulamuliro motero kuti palibe amene adzawuchotse, mpaka mwini wake weniweni atabwera ndipo mitundu yonse ya anthu idzamumvera.
11 Binding, to the vine, his ass, And to the choice vine his ass’s colt, He hath washed in wine his raiment, And in the blood of grapes, his mantle:
Ndiye amene amamangirira bulu wake wamkazi kumtengo wa mpesa, ndi mwana wa bulu ku nthambi ya mpesa wabwino. Ndi iye amene amachapa zovala zake mu vinyo; ndi mkanjo wake mu vinyo wofiira ngati magazi.
12 Darker—his eyes, than wine, —Whiter—his teeth than milk!
Maso ake adzakhala akuda chifukwa cha vinyo, mano ake woyera chifukwa cha mkaka.
13 Zebulon, by a haven of seas, shall he settle down, —Even he, by a haven of ships, With his utmost part upon Zidon.
“Zebuloni adzakhala mʼmphepete mwa nyanja; adzakhala pa dooko la sitima zapamadzi; malire ake adzafika ku Sidoni.
14 Issachar, an ass of strength, —couching between the pens;
“Isakara ali ngati bulu wamphamvu wogona pansi pakati pa makola.
15 Then beholdeth he rest, that it is good, And the ground that it is pleasant, —So he bendeth his shoulder to bear, And becometh a tributary servant.
Ataona ubwino wake wa pamalo pake popumira ndi kukongola kwa dziko lake, iye anaweramutsa msana kuti anyamule katundu wake ndipo anasanduka wogwira ntchito ya ukapolo.
16 Dan, shall vindicate his people, —as one of the tribes of Israel;
“Dani adzaweruza mwachilungamo anthu ake monga limodzi mwa mafuko a anthu a mu Israeli.
17 It cometh to pass that, Dan, is a serpent upon the way, A horned viper, upon the path, —That biteth the heels of the horse, And his rider falleth backwards: —
Dani adzakhala ngati njoka ya mʼmphepete mwa msewu, songo yokhala mʼnjira imene imaluma chidendene cha kavalo kuti wokwerapoyo agwe chagada.
18 For thy salvation, have I waited O Yahweh!
“Ndikuyembekeza chipulumutso chanu Yehova.
19 Gad! a troop shall troop on him, —But, he, shall troop on the rear.
“Gadi adzachitidwa chiwembu ndi gulu la amaliwongo, koma iye adzawathamangitsa.
20 Out of Asher, fatness, is his food, —So, he, setteth forth dainties for a king.
“Dziko la Aseri lidzabereka chakudya chokoma, ndipo iye adzapereka chakudya kwa mafumu.
21 Naphtali, is a slender hind, —That putteth forth antlers of beauty.
“Nafutali ali ngati mbawala yayikazi yokhala ndi ana okongola kwambiri.
22 A fruitful bough, is Joseph, A fruitful bough over a fountain, —Branches creeping over a wall.
“Yosefe ali ngati mtengo wobereka zipatso, mtengo wobereka zipatso pafupi ndi kasupe, nthambi zake zimayanga pa chipupa cha mwala.
23 So they attack him and have shot, —So they enclose him, do the masters of arrows.
Alenje a uta anamuchita chiwembu mwankhanza; anamuthamangitsa ndi mauta awo.
24 But abideth, as an enduring one, his bow, And supple are the arms of his hands, —From the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, From thence, is the Shepherd the Stone of Israel:
Koma uta wake sunagwedezeke, ndi manja ake amphamvu aja analimbika, chifukwa cha mphamvu za Mulungu Wamphamvu wa Yakobo, chifukwa ali Mʼbusa ndi Thanthwe la Israeli.
25 From the GOD of thy father who doth help thee And GOD Almighty who doth bless thee, Blessings of the heavens, above, Blessings of the abyss, couching beneath, —Blessings of breasts and womb:
Chifukwa cha Mulungu wa makolo ako amene amakuthandiza; chifukwa cha Mulungu Wamphamvu, amene amakudalitsa ndi mvula yochokera kumwamba, ndi madzi otumphuka pansi pa nthaka, ndipo amakudalitsa pokupatsa ana ambiri ndi ngʼombe zambiri.
26 The blessings of thy father, have prevailed, Over the blessings of the perpetual mountains, The charm of the age-abiding hills, —They turn out to be, for the head of Joseph, And for the crown of the head of him who was set apart from his brethren.
Madalitso a kholo lako ndi amphamvu kuposa madalitso a mapiri akale oposa zabwino za ku zitunda zamgonagona. Zonse izi zikhale pamutu pa Yosefe, pa mphumi pa wopatulika uja amene anapatulidwa pakati pa abale ake.
27 Benjamin a wolf that teareth in pieces, In the morning, he eateth prey, And at eventide, he divideth spoil.
“Benjamini ali ngati mʼmbulu wolusa; umene mmawa umapha ndi kudya zofunkha, ndipo madzulo umagawa zofunkhazo,”
28 All these, are the twelve tribes of Israel, —And this, is that which their father spake to them when he blessed them, Each man severally according to the blessing wherewith he blessed them.
Onse awa ndi mafuko khumi ndi awiri a Israeli, ndipo zimenezi ndi zomwe abambo awo ananena pamene anawadalitsa, kuwapatsa aliyense madalitso ake womuyenera iye.
29 Then commanded he them and said unto them—I, am about to be gathered unto my people, Bury me among my fathers, —within the cave, that is in the field of Ephron the Hittite:
Kenaka Yakobo analamula ana ake nati: “Ine ndatsala pangʼono kufa. Tsono mukandiyike pamodzi ndi makolo anga mʼphanga la mʼmunda wa Efroni Mhiti.
30 in the cave that is in the field of Machpelah which is over against Mamre, in the land of Canaan, —which Abraham bought, along with the field, from Ephron the Hittite for a possession of a buryingplace: —
Ili ndi phanga la mʼmunda wa Makipela, pafupi ndi Mamre mʼdziko la Kanaani. Abrahamu anagula phangalo pamodzi ndi munda womwe kwa Efroni Mhiti kuti pakhale manda.
31 There, buried they Abraham, and Sarah his wife, There, buried they Isaac, and Rebekah his wife, —And there, buried I Leah: —
Kumeneko kunayikidwa Abrahamu ndi mkazi wake Sara, Isake ndi mkazi wake Rebeka ndipo ndinayikakonso Leya.
32 buying the field and the cave that is therein, from the sons of Heth.
Munda ndi manda amene ali mʼmenemo zinagulidwa kwa Ahiti.”
33 So Jacob made an end of commanding his sons, and gathered up his feet into the couch, —and ceased to breathe and was gathered unto his people.
Yakobo atamaliza kupereka malangizo kwa ana ake, anabwezera miyendo yake pa bedi, namwalira ndipo anakakhala ndi anthu a mtundu wake.
