Genesis 46
1 So Israel brake up, with all that he had, and came in to Beer-sheba, —and offered sacrifices to the God of his father Isaac.
Israel salió con todo lo que tenía. Fue a Beerseba y ofreció sacrificios al ʼElohim de su padre Isaac.
2 And God said to Israel in the visions of the night, and he said—Jacob! Jacob! And he said—Behold me!
Y ʼElohim habló a Israel en visiones de noche: ¡Jacob! ¡Jacob! Y él respondió: Aquí estoy.
3 And he said: I, am GOD himself, the God of thy father, —Be not afraid of going down to Egypt, seeing that for a great nation, will I plant thee there.
Entonces le dijo: Yo soy ʼEL, el ʼElohim de tu padre. No temas bajar a Egipto, porque allí te convertiré en una gran nación.
4 I will go down with thee to Egypt, and I will bring thee up, yea wholly up, —and, Joseph, shall lay his own hand upon thine eyes.
Yo descenderé contigo a Egipto y ciertamente Yo también te haré subir, y la mano de José cerrará tus ojos.
5 So Jacob rose up from Beer-sheba, —and the sons of Israel brought Jacob their father, and their little ones, and their wives, in the waggons which Pharaoh had sent to bring him;
Jacob de Beerseba se levantó, y los hijos de Israel hicieron subir a su padre Jacob, a sus pequeños y a sus esposas en las carrozas que Faraón envió para que lo llevaran.
6 and they took their cattle and the gains which they had gained in the land of Canaan, and came into Egypt, —Jacob and all his seed with him:

7 his sons, and his sons’ sons with him, his daughters, and his sons’ daughters, and all his seed, brought he with him into Egypt.

8 Now, these, are the names of the sons of Israel who came into Egypt—Jacob and his sons, —the firstborn of Jacob, Reuben:
Estos son los nombres de los hijos de Israel que entraron en Egipto: Jacob y sus hijos: Rubén, el primogénito de Jacob.
9 And, the sons of Reuben, —Hanoch and Pallu, and Hezron and Carmi;
Los hijos de Rubén: Hanoc, Falú, Hezrón y Carmi.
10 And, the sons of Simeon, —Jemuel and Jamin and Ohad and Jachin and Zohar, —and Shaul, son of the Canaanitess;
Los hijos de Simeón: Jemuel, Jamín, Ohad, Jaquín, Zohar y Saúl, hijo de la cananea.
11 And the sons of Levi, —Gershon, Kohath and Merari;
Los hijos de Leví: Gersón, Coat y Merari.
12 And the sons of Judah, —Er and Onan and Shelah, and Perez and Zerah, —but Er and Onan died in the land of Canaan, and the sons of Perez were Hezron and Hamul;
Los hijos de Judá: Er, Onán y Sela, Fares y Zara, (pero Er y Onán murieron en la tierra de Canaán). Los hijos de Fares fueron Hezrón y Hamul.
13 And, the sons of Issachar, —Tola and Puvah, and Iob and Shimron;
Los hijos de Isacar: Tola, Fúa, Job y Simrón.
14 And the sons of Zebulon, —Sered and Elon, and Jahleel.
Los hijos de Zabulón: Sered, Elón y Jahleel.
15 These, are the sons of Leah whom she bare to Jacob in Padan-aram, with Dinah also his daughter, —All the souls of his sons and of his daughters, were thirty-three.
Estos fueron los hijos de Lea, los que ella le dio a luz a Jacob en Padan-aram, además de su hija Dina. El total de personas de sus hijos e hijas fue 33.
16 And, the sons of Gad, —Zaphon and Haggi, Shuni and Ezbon, —Eri and Arodi and Areli;

17 And, the sons of Asher, —Imnah and Ishvah and Ishvi and Beriah, and Serah their sister, —and the sons of Beriah, Heber and Malchiel.
Los hijos de Aser: Imna, Isúa, Isúi, Bería y Sera, hermana de ellos. Los hijos de Bería: Heber y Malquiel.
18 These, are the sons of Zilpah, whom Laban gave to Leah his daughter, —so she bare these to Jacob, —sixteen souls.
Estos fueron los hijos de Zilpa, la esclava que Labán dio a su hija Lea, y le dio a luz éstos a Jacob: 16 personas.
19 The sons of Rachel, Jacob’s wife, —Joseph and Benjamin;
Hijos de Raquel, esposa de Jacob: José y Benjamín.
20 And there were born to Joseph in the land of Egypt, whom Asenath daughter of Poti-phera, priest of On, bare to him: Manasseh and Ephraim;
A José, en la tierra de Egipto, le nacieron Manasés y Efraín, los cuales Asenat, hija de Potifera, sacerdote de On, le dio a luz.
21 And the sons of Benjamin—Bela and Becher, and Ashbel, Gera and Naaman, Ehi and Rosh, —Muppim and Huppim, and Ard.
Los hijos de Benjamín fueron Bela, Bequer, Asbel, Gera, Naamán, Ehi, Ros, Mupim, Hupim y Ard.
22 These, are the sons of Rachel, who were born to Jacob, —all the souls, were fourteen.
Estos fueron los hijos de Raquel que le nacieron a Jacob: 14 personas en total.
23 And, the sons of Dan, —Hushim;
Hijo de Dan: Husim.
24 And the sons of Naphtali, —Jahzeel and Guni, and Jezer and Shillem.
Los hijos de Neftalí: Jahzeel, Guni, Jezer y Silem.
25 These, are the sons of Bilhah, whom Laban gave to Rachel his daughter, —so she bare these to Jacob, —all the souls, were seven.
Estos fueron los hijos de Bilha, la esclava que Labán dio a Raquel su hija, y ella dio a luz éstos a Jacob: siete personas en total.
26 All the souls that came in with Jacob to Egypt that had come forth of his loins, besides Jacob’s sons’ wives, —all the souls, were sixty-six;
Todas las personas que fueron con Jacob a Egipto, sus descendientes directos, sin contar las esposas de los hijos de Jacob fueron 66.
27 and, the sons of Joseph who were born to him in Egypt, were two souls: All the souls of the house of Jacob that came into Egypt, were seventy.
Los hijos de José que le nacieron en Egipto, dos personas. Todas las personas de la casa de Jacob que entraron en Egipto fueron 70.
28 And he sent, Judah, before him unto Joseph, to direct his face to Goshen, —so they came in towards the land of Goshen.

29 Then yoked Joseph his chariot, and went up to meet Israel his father towards Goshen, —and he appeared unto him, and fell upon his neck, and wept upon his neck a good while.
José preparó su carroza y subió a Gosén a recibir a su padre Israel. Se presentó a él, y al echarse sobre su cuello lo abrazó y lloró largamente.
30 Then said Israel unto Joseph I am ready to die at last, —now that I have seen thy face, in that thou art, yet alive.
Entonces Israel dijo a José: Ahora, que muera yo, después de ver tu rostro, porque tú aún vives.
31 Then said Joseph unto his brethren and unto the house of his father, I must go up, and must tell Pharaoh—and must say unto him, My brethren, and the house of my father, who were in the land of Canaan, have come in unto me.
José dijo a sus hermanos y a la familia de su padre: Subiré a Faraón y le diré: Mis hermanos y la familia de mi padre que estaban en la tierra de Canaán vinieron a mí.
32 Now, the men, are feeders of flocks, for men of cattle, they are, —and their flocks and their herds and all that they have, have they brought in.
Son pastores de ovejas que cuidan el ganado. Trajeron sus rebaños, sus manadas de ganado vacuno y todas sus pertenencias.
33 So shall it come to pass, when Pharaoh shall call for you, —and shall say—What is your occupation?
Cuando Faraón los llame y les pregunte: ¿Cuál es su oficio?
34 Then shall ye say—Men of cattle, have thy servants been from our youth even until now, both we and our fathers, —To the end ye may dwell in the land of Goshen, for an abomination to Egyptians, is every feeder of a flock,
Ustedes responderán: Tus esclavos somos pastores desde nuestra juventud hasta ahora, tanto nosotros como nuestros antepasados. [Digan] esto a fin de que vivan en la tierra de Gosén, porque todo pastor de ovejas es repugnancia para los egipcios.
