Genesis 14
1 And it came to pass, in the days of Amraphel, king of Shinar, Arioch, king of Ellasar, —Chedorlaomer king of Elam, and Tidal king of Goim,
I stało się za dni Amrafela, króla Senaarskiego, Aryjocha, króla Ellasarskiego, Chodorlahomera, króla Elamskiego i Tydala, króla Goimskiego:
2 that they made war, with Bera, king of Sodom, and with Birsha, king of Gomorrah, —Shinab, king of Admah, and Shemeber, king of Zeboim, and the king of Bela—the same, is Zoar.
Że podnieśli wojnę przeciw Borowi królowi Sodomskiemu, i przeciw Bersie królowi Gomorskiemu, i Senaabowi królowi Adamackiemu, i Semeberowi królowi Seboimskiemu, i królowi Belamskiemu, to jest Zoarskiemu.
3 All these, joined together in the valley of the open fields, the same, is the Salt Sea.
Wszyscy ci zaciągnęli się w dolinę Syddym, ta jest teraz morzem słonem.
4 Twelve years, had they served Chedorlaomer, —but in the thirteenth year had they rebelled;
Bo ci dwanaście lat służyli Chodorlahomerowi, a trzynastego roku odstąpili od niego.
5 and in the fourteenth year, had Chedorlaomer come in and the kings who were with him, so they smote the Rephaim in Ashteroth-karnaim, and the Zuzim in Ham, —and the Emim, in Shaveh-kiriathaim;
A tak roku czternastego wyciągnął Chodorlahomer z królmi, którzy z nim byli, i poraził Rafaimy w Astarot Karnaimie, i Zuzymy w Hamie, i Emimy w Sawie Karyjataim.
6 and the Horites in their Mount Seir, —as far as El-paran, which is by the desert.
Także Chorajczyki na górze ich Seir, aż do równiny Paran, która jest przy puszczy.
7 So they returned and came in unto En-mishpat, the same, is Kadish, and smote all the field of the Amalekites, —and the Amorites also that dwelt in Hazazon-tamar,

8 Thus then went forth the King of Sodom and the king of Gomorrah, and the king of Admah and the king of Zeboim, and the king of Bela the same, is Zoar—and set themselves in array against them for battle, in the valley of the open fields:
Tedy wyciągnął król Sodomski, i król Gomorski, i król Adamacki, i król Zeboimski, i król Belamski, to jest Zoarski, i uszykowali się ku bitwie przeciwko im w dolinie Syddym.
9 against Chedorlaomer king of Elam, and Tidal king of Goim, and Amraphel king of Shinar, and Arioch king of Ellasar, —four kings against five.
Przeciwko Chodorlahomerowi królowi Elamskiemu, i Tydalowi królowi Goimskiemu, i Amrafelowi królowi Senaarskiemu, i Aryjochowi królowi Ellasarskiemu, czterech królów, przeciw pięciu.
10 Now, the valley of the open fields, had many pits of bitumen, so the king of Sodom and Gomorrah fled, and fell there, —while, they who remained, towards a mountain, fled.
A w onej dolinie Syddym, było wiele studzien iłowatych; i uciekali król Sodomski i Gomorski, a polegli tam, a którzy zostali, na górę uciekli.
11 And they took all the goods of Sodom and Gomorrah and all their food and went their way.
A zabrawszy wszystkę majętność Sodomską, i Gomorską, i wszystkę żywność ich, odciągnęli.
12 And they took Lot, Abram’s brother’s son with his goods, and went their way, —he, being a dweller in Sodom.
Zabrali też Lota synowca Abramowego, i majętność jego, i poszli; bo on mieszkał w Sodomie.
13 Then came in a fugitive, and told Abram the Hebrew, —he, having his dwelling among the oaks of Mamre the Amorite brother of Eshcol and brother of Aner, they, also having a covenant with Abram.
I przyszedł jeden, który uszedł, i oznajmił to Abramowi Hebrejczykowi, który mieszkał w równinach Mamrego Amorrejczyka, brata Eschola, i brata Anera; ci bowiem uczynili byli przymierze z Abramem.
14 So Abram, hearing that his brother had been taken captive, drew forth his trained men born in his house three hundred and eighteen, and pursued as far as Dan.
A usłyszawszy Abram, iż był pojmany brat jego, wyprawił ćwiczonych sług swoich zrodzonych w domu swym, trzy sta i osiemnaście, i gonił je aż do Dan.
15 And he divided himself against them by night, he, and his servants, and smote them, —and pursued them as far as Hobah, which was on the left of Damascus.
I rozdzieliwszy się przypadł na nie w nocy, sam i słudzy jego, i poraził je; i gonił je aż do Hoby, która leży po lewej stronie Damaszku.
16 So he brought back all the goods, —yea Lot also his brother with his goods, did he bring back, and the women also, and the people.
I odebrał nazad wszystkę majętność, także i Lota brata swego z majętnością jego wrócił, także i niewiasty, i lud.
17 Then came forth the king of Sodom to meet him, after his return from the smiting of Chedorlaomer, and the kings who were with him, —into the vale of Shaveh the same, was the vale of the king.
Tedy wyszedł król Sodomski przeciw niemu, gdy się wracał od porażki Chodorlahomera, i królów, którzy z nim byli na dolinie Sawe, która jest doliną królewską.
18 Now Melchizedek king of Salem, had brought forth bread and wine, —he, being priest of GOD Most High.
A Melchisedek, król Salemski, wyniósł chleb i wino; a ten był kapłanem Boga najwyższego.
19 So he blessed him and said, —Blessed be Abram of GOD Most High, possessor of [the] heavens and earth;
I błogosławił mu, a rzekł: Błogosławiony Abram od Boga najwyższego, dzierżawcy nieba i ziemi.
20 And blessed be GOD Most High, who hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand. So he gave unto him a tenth of all.
I błogosławiony Bóg najwyższy, który podał nieprzyjacioły twe w rękę twoję; i dał mu Abram dziesięcinę ze wszystkiego.
21 Then said the king of Sodom unto Abram, —Give unto me the persons, but the goods, take thou for thyself.
Zatem rzekł król Sodomski do Abrama: Daj mi ludzie, a majętność pobierz sobie.
22 And Abram said unto the king of Sodom, —I have lifted up my hand unto Yahweh GOD Most High, possessor of [the] heavens and earth:
Tedy rzekł Abram królowi Sodomskiemu: Podniosłem rękę swą ku Panu Bogu najwyższemu, dzierżawcy nieba i ziemi;
23 That not from a thread even unto a sandal-thong, —will I take, anything, that is thine, —Lest thou shouldst say, I, enriched Abram!
Że i najmniejszej nitki ani rzemyczka obuwia nie wezmę ze wszystkiego, co twego jest; żebyś nie rzekł: Jam zbogacił Abrama.
24 Save only what the young men have eaten, and the share of the men who went with me, Aner, Eshcol, and Mamre, they may take their share.
Okrom tego, co strawili słudzy, i okrom działu mężów, którzy chodzili ze mną, Anera, Eschola, i Mamrego; ci niech wezmą dział swój.
