Genesis 10
1 Now, these are the generations of the sons of Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth, and there were born to them sons after the flood.
౧నోవహు కొడుకులు షేము, హాము, యాపెతుల వంశావళి ఇది. జలప్రళయం తరువాత వాళ్లకు కొడుకులు పుట్టారు.
2 The sons of Japheth: Gomer and Magog, and Madai, and Javan and Tubal, —and Meshech, and Tiras.
౨యాపెతు సంతానం గోమెరు, మాగోగు, మాదయి, యావాను, తుబాలు, మెషెకు, తీరసు.
3 And the sons of Gomer: Ashkenaz and Riphath, and Togarmah.
౩గోమెరు కొడుకులు అష్కనజు, రీఫతు, తోగర్మా.
4 And the sons of Javan: Elishah, and Tarshish. Kittim, and Rodanim, —
౪యావాను సంతానం ఏలీషా, తర్షీషు, కిత్తీము, దాదోనీము.
5 From these, were dispersed [the inhabitants] of the coastlands of the nations, in their lands, each man by his tongue, by their families in their nations.
౫వీళ్ళనుంచి సముద్రం వెంబడి మనుషులు వేరుపడి తమ ప్రాంతాలకు వెళ్ళారు. తమ తమ జాతుల ప్రకారం, తమ తమ భాషల ప్రకారం, తమ తమ వంశాల ప్రకారం, ఆ దేశాల్లో ఉన్నవాళ్ళు వేరైపోయారు.
6 And, the sons of Ham: Cush and Mizraim and Phut and Canaan.
౬హాము సంతానం కూషు, మిస్రాయిము, పూతు, కనాను.
7 And, the sons of Cush: Seba and Havilah, and Sabtah and Raamah, and Sabtechah, —And the sons of Raamah, Sheba and Dedan.
౭కూషు కొడుకులు సెబా, హవీలా, సబ్తా, రాయమా, సబ్తకా. రాయమా కొడుకులు షేబ, దదాను.
8 And, Cush begat Nimrod.—he, became a hero in the earth;
౮కూషుకు నిమ్రోదు పుట్టాడు. అతడు భూమి మీద పరాక్రమం కలిగిన శూరుల్లో మొదటివాడు.
9 he, became a hero of hunting before Yahweh, for this cause, it is said. Like Nimrod, a hero of hunting before Yahweh.
౯అతడు యెహోవా దృష్టిలో పరాక్రమం గల వేటగాడు. కాబట్టి “యెహోవా దృష్టిలో పరాక్రమం కలిగిన వేటగాడైన నిమ్రోదు వలే” అనే నానుడి ఉంది.
10 So the beginning of his kingdom came to be Babel, and Erech, and Accad and Calneh, in the land of Shinar.
౧౦షీనారు ప్రాంతంలో ఉన్న బాబెలు, ఎరెకు, అక్కదు, కల్నే అనే పట్టణాలు అతని రాజ్యంలో ముఖ్య పట్టాణాలు.
11 From that land, went forth Asshur, —and he built Nineveh, and Rehoboth-ir, and Calah:
౧౧ఆ ప్రాంతంలో నుంచి అతడు అష్షూరుకు బయలుదేరి వెళ్ళి నీనెవె, రహోబోతీరు, కాలహు పట్టణాలను,
12 and Resen, between Niveveh and Calah, —the same is the great city.
౧౨నీనెవె కాలహుల మధ్య రెసెను అనే ఒక పెద్ద పట్టాణాన్నీ కట్టించాడు.
13 And, Mizraim, begat Ludim and Anamim and Lehabim, and Naphtuchim;
౧౩మిస్రాయిముకు లూదీ, అనామీ, లెహాబీ, నప్తుహీ,
14 and Pathrusim and Casluhim whence came forth Philistim and Caphtorim.
౧౪పత్రుసీ, కస్లూహీ, కఫ్తోరీలు పుట్టారు. ఫిలిష్తీయులు కస్లూహీయుల సంతతి.
15 And Canaan begat Zidon his firstborn, and Heth:
౧౫కనాను మొదటి కొడుకు సీదోనుకు హేతు, యెబూసీ, అమోరీయ, గిర్గాషీ,
16 and the Jebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgashite;
౧౬హివ్వీ, అర్కీయు, సినీయ,
17 and the Hivite and the Arkite, and the Sinite:
౧౭అర్వాదీయ, సెమారీయ, హమాతీలు పుట్టారు.
18 and the Arvadite and the Zemarite and the Hamathite, —and after-wards, were spread abroad the families of the Canaanite.
౧౮ఆ తరువాత కనానీయుల వంశాలు వ్యాప్తి చెందాయి.
19 And it came to pass that the boundary of the Canaanite was from Zidon, as thou enterest in towards Gerar unto Gaza, —as thou enterest in towards Sodom and Gomorrah and Admah and Zeboim, as far as Lasha.
౧౯కనానీయుల సరిహద్దు సీదోను నుంచి గెరారుకు వెళ్ళే దారిలో గాజా వరకూ, సొదొమ గొమొర్రా, అద్మా సెబోయిములకు వెళ్ళే దారిలో లాషా వరకూ ఉంది.
20 These, are the sons of Ham, by their families by their tongues, in their lands in their nations.
౨౦వీళ్ళు, తమ తమ వంశాల ప్రకారం, తమ తమ భాషల ప్రకారం, తమ తమ జాతులను బట్టి హాము సంతానం.
21 Now, to Shem, father of all the sons of Eber, elder brother of Japheth, to him also, were children born.
౨౧యాపెతు అన్న షేముకు కూడా సంతానం కలిగింది. ఏబెరు వంశానికి మూలపురుషుడు షేము.
22 The sons of Shem, Elam and Asshur, —and Arpachshad and Lud and Aram.
౨౨షేము కొడుకులు ఏలాము, అష్షూరు, అర్పక్షదు, లూదు, అరాము.
23 And, the sons of Aram: Uz and Hul, and Gether and Mash.
౨౩అరాము కొడుకులు ఊజు, హూలు, గెతెరు, మాష.
24 Now Arpachshad, begat Shelah, and Shelah begat Eber.
౨౪అర్పక్షదుకు షేలహు పుట్టాడు. షేలహుకు ఏబెరు పుట్టాడు.
25 And to Eber, were born two sons, —the name of the one was Peleg, for in his days, was the earth divided, and the name of his brother was Joktan.
౨౫ఏబెరుకు ఇద్దరు కొడుకులు పుట్టారు. వాళ్ళల్లో ఒకడు పెలెగు. ఎందుకంటే అతని రోజుల్లో భూమి విభజన జరిగింది. రెండవవాడు యొక్తాను.
26 Now, Joktan, begat Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah;
౨౬యొక్తానుకు అల్మోదాదు, షెలపు, హసర్మావెతు, యెరహు,
27 and Hadoram and Uzal, and Diklah:
౨౭హదోరము, ఊజాలు, దిక్లా,
28 and Obal and Abimael, and Sheba:
౨౮ఓబాలు, అబీమాయెలు, షేబ,
29 and Ophir and Havilah, and Jobab—all these were sons of Joktan.
౨౯ఓఫీరు, హవీలా, యోబాబులు పుట్టారు.
30 And it came to pass that their dwelling was from Mesha, as thou enterest in towards Sephar, the mountain of the east.
౩౦వాళ్ళు నివాసం ఉండే స్థలాలు మేషా నుంచి సపారాకు వెళ్ళే దారిలో తూర్పు కొండలు.
31 These are the sons of Shem, by their families by their tongues, in their lands by their nations.
౩౧వీళ్ళు, తమ తమ వంశాల ప్రకారం, తమ తమ భాషల ప్రకారం, తమ తమ ప్రాంతాలను బట్టి, తమ తమ జాతులను బట్టి షేము కొడుకులు.
32 These, are the families of the sons of Noah, by their generations in their nations, and from these, were dispersed the nations in the earth after the flood.
౩౨తమ తమ జనాల్లో తమ తమ సంతానాల ప్రకారం నోవహు కొడుకుల వంశాలు ఇవే. జలప్రళయం జరిగిన తరువాత వీళ్ళల్లోనుంచి జనాలు భూమి మీద వ్యాప్తి చెందారు.
