< Galatians 5 >

1 With her freedom, Christ hath made you, free. Stand fast, therefore, and do not, again, with a yoke of servitude, be held fast!
Feꞌesaꞌan atahori Yahudi ra lemba-rasaa bera-bꞌera sira agaman hohoro-lalanen. Te ia na Kristus soꞌu hendi beraꞌ naa mia atahori mana ramahere neu E. Naeni de, ia na hita nenemboꞌit ena. Dadꞌi ama afiꞌ nenetipuꞌ fo milemba-misaa baliꞌ hohoro-lalaneꞌ naa, ona ate e!
2 See! I, Paul, say unto you—if ye be getting circumcised, Christ will profit you, nothing.
Rena, e! Ia au, Paulus, mana olaꞌ ia. Mete ma hei simbo sunat fo tungga atahori Yahudi ra hohoro-lalanen, Kristus mamaten fo mana mboꞌi hendi hei naa, nda ma ngguna saa sa ena.
3 Yea, I bear solemn witness again, unto every man getting circumcised, —that he is, a debtor, to do, the whole law.
Mete ma atahori simbo sunat, ana musi lemba-nasaa nala baliꞌ basa hohoro-lalaneꞌ naa ra. Misinedꞌa naa, do hokoꞌ? Te feꞌesaꞌan, au ufadꞌe memaꞌ ena.
4 Ye have been set aside from Christ, ye who, by law, are to be declared righteous, —out of his favour, ye have fallen;
Atahori mana nau pake hohoro-lalaneꞌ fo nae tao Lamatualain simbo e no malole, ana naꞌadodꞌooꞌ aon mia Lamatualain. Te no dalaꞌ naa, ana tola hendi Lamatualain rala malolen.
5 For, we, in Spirit, by faith, for a hope of righteousness, are ardently waiting, —
Te Lamatualain Dula-dꞌale Meumaren mana soi dalaꞌ fo tamahere neu Yesus Kristus. Naa de hita tahaniꞌ a, tae dei fo Lamatualain henggenee nala hita nae, hita atahori ndoos.
6 For, in Christ [Jesus], neither, circumcision, availeth anything, nor uncircumcision, but faith, through love, energising.
Atahori sunat do, hokoꞌ o, naa nda ma nggunaꞌ sa. Te mana ma nggunaꞌ a naeni, Atahori ramahere neu Kristus, naa de ara sue atahori laen.
7 Ye were running well: —who hath hindered you, that, by truth, ye are not to be persuaded?
Feꞌesaꞌan, hei misodꞌa tungga dꞌala ndoo-tetuꞌ ena.
8 The persuasion, [is] not of him that calleth you: —
Nenori pepeko-lelekoꞌ fo hei renaꞌ naa, nda mia Lamatualain sa. Huu Ana mana nameli hei dadꞌi atahorin.
9 A little leaven, leaveneth, the whole lump.
Saa fo ranoriꞌ naa, fefeun akaꞌ dedꞌeat esa-ruaꞌ a. Te dodꞌoo ma nenoriꞌ naa tao nalutu dudꞌuꞌa mara. Onaꞌ bibꞌit mbei atahori sambor no tarigu fo rumu dadꞌi roti. Dꞌodꞌoo ma, bibꞌit a tao tarigu nenesambor a hene.
10 I, am persuaded regarding you, in the Lord—that, for nothing else, ye will have any regard; but, he that is troubling you, shall bear the sentence, —whosoever he may be.
Huu hita dadꞌi esa to hita Lamatuan Yesus Kristus, Naa de au umuhere ae, dei fo Ana fee hei mimihere baliꞌ saa fo au unoriꞌ naa.
11 I, however, brethren—if, circumcision, I yet proclaim, why am I yet persecuted? After all, the stumbling-block of the cross hath been set aside.
Ma atahori Yahudi ra nda sudꞌi tola hendi au nenori ngga soꞌal Yesus mamaten sia hau ngganggeꞌ a sa.
12 Oh! that they would even leave off in dismay, who are unsettling you!
Te atahori mana tao hei bingun soꞌal sunat naa, hela fo ara uta hendi ‘mamae’ nara!
13 For, ye, on a footing of freedom, were called, brethren, —only, [turn] not your freedom into an occasion to the flesh, but, by means of your love, be serving one another;
Toronoo ngga re! Lamatuaꞌ mboꞌi hendi hei ena, naa fo ama afiꞌ sudi tungga agama hohoro-lalanen hihii-nanaun.
14 For, the whole law, in one word, is summed up—[namely] in this, —Thou shall love thy neighbour as thyself.
Sia Lamatualain Susura Meumaren nenesuraꞌ oi, “Musi sue atahori laen onaꞌ sue aom boe.” Mete ma hei tungga akaꞌ hohoro-lalaneꞌ esa ia, na, hei tao tungga basa atahori Yahudi ra agaman hohoro-lalanen hihii-nanaun ena.
15 If, however, one another, ye bite and devour, take heed lest, by one another, ye be consumed!
16 I say, moreover—by Spirit, be walking, and, fleshly coveting, ye will in nowise fulfil;
Au masud ngga taꞌo ia: Mete ma hei misodꞌa tungga Lamatuaꞌ Dula-dꞌalen hihii-nanaun, na hei nda tungga atahori hihii-nanaun sa ena.
17 For, the flesh, coveted against the Spirit, but, the Spirit, against the flesh, —for, these, unto one another, are opposed, lest, whatsoever things ye chance to desire, these, ye should be doing!
Te atahori hihii-nanaun nda tungga Dula-dꞌaleꞌ a hihii-nanaun sa. Ma dula-dꞌaleꞌ a hihii-nanaun o nda tungga atahori hihii-nanaun sa boe. Huu ruꞌa se balabꞌan na!
18 And, if, by Spirit, ye are being led, ye are not under law.
Te mete ma Lamatualain Dula-dꞌalen nalalao nggi, hei nda sudꞌi nenepaꞌaꞌ mia hohoro-lalaneꞌ naa ra sa ena.
19 Manifest, however, are the works of the flesh, which, indeed, are—fornication, impurity, wantonness,
Atahori mana tungga-tunggaꞌ a atahori hihii-nanaun, onaꞌ a: atahori mana hohonggeꞌ, atahori dudꞌuꞌa deꞌulaka mana nda naꞌena mamaet sa,
20 idolatry, enchantment, enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of wrath, factions, divisions, parties,
mana songgo nitu fo suanggiꞌ, mana namusuꞌ, mana hiiꞌ a nareresi, mana hiiꞌ horo-mbalama, mana hiiꞌ a namue-naanggiꞌ, dꞌuꞌaꞌ a aon, mana hiiꞌ a dudꞌunggu-mbambau atahori, mana hiiꞌ a namue leli,
21 envyings, drunkenness, revellings; —and such things as these: as to which I forewarn you, even as I have forewarned you, —that, they who such things as these do practise, shall not inherit, God’s kingdom.
mana hiiꞌ a rala meraꞌ, mana hiiꞌ a ninu mafu, mana hiiꞌ a feta-dꞌote seteleleꞌ, ma mana tao sala-singgoꞌ laen fai. Feꞌesaꞌan, au fee nggi nesenenedꞌaꞌ ae, atahori mana tao tungga dalaꞌ naa ra, nda bisa dadꞌi Lamatualain atahorin sa.
22 But, the fruit of the Spirit, is—love, joy, peace, long-suffering, graciousness, goodness, faithfulness,
Te atahori mana nasodꞌa tungga Lamatuaꞌ Dula-dꞌalen hihii-nanaun, Dula-dꞌaleꞌ a tao e dadꞌi atahori mana hiiꞌ a sue-lai, rala nemehoꞌot, hiiꞌ a mole-dꞌame, mana naꞌatataaꞌ, ralan malole no atahoriꞌ, hii tulu-fali atahori, hii toꞌu nahereꞌ dedꞌean,
23 meekness, self-control; —against such things as these, there is no law.
rala meulauꞌ no basa atahori, ma bisa nanea aon no malole. Nda hambu hohoro-lalaneꞌ esa o, ena-ai dalaꞌ ia ra sa boe.
24 And, they who are of Christ Jesus, have crucified, the flesh, with its susceptibilities and covetings.
Atahori mana dadꞌi Yesus Kristus atahorin, ana nda tungga atahori hihiin sa ena.
25 If we live by Spirit, by Spirit, let us also walk.
De mete ma Lamatuaꞌ Dula-dꞌalen fee masodꞌa feuꞌ neu hita ena, na musi tungga takandoo hihii-nanaun.
26 Let us not become vain-glorious, —one another, challenging, one another, envying.
Huu naa de, ata afiꞌ hii sangga hadꞌa-hormat, afiꞌ hiiꞌ a balabꞌan esa no esa, ma sudꞌi tao rala meraꞌ esa no esa fai.
