< Galatians 4 >

1 But I say: —for as long a time as, the heir, is an infant, he differeth, nothing, from a servant, though, lord of all,
Ikabheje nne nguti nnei, alishi abhaga akanabhe kula, pakwibhela malinga ntumwa, nkali ali nnyene indu yowe.
2 But is, under guardians, and stewards, until the [day] fore-appointed of the father:
Ikabhe bhaagoyanga indu ika mwana na kunnela, mpaka pushigaishile mobha gabhishilwe na ainagwe.
3 So also, we, when we were infants, under the elementary principles of the world, were held in servitude;
Na uwe puyaliji nneyo peyo, putwaliji malinga bhana, nibha bhatumwa mmashili ga ikubho ya bhandunji bha pa shilambolyo.
4 But, when the fulness of the time came, God sent forth his Son, who came to be of a woman, who came to be under law, —
Ikabheje gakaishileje mobha gubhapanjile a Nnungu, gubhantumile Mwana gwabho, abhelekwe na jwankongwe, gwatemi kwa Shalia ja a Musha,
5 That, them who were under law, he might redeem, that, the sonship, we might duly receive; —
nkupinga abhagombolanje bhene bhalinginji mmashili ga Shalia ja a Musha na uwe tubhe tubhana bha a Nnungu.
6 And, because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, exclaiming, Abba! Oh Father!
Kwa nneyo mmanganyanji nnaino pabha nshibhanganga bhana bha a Nnungu, bhai a Nnungu bhashikuntuma Mbumu juka Mwana gwabho mmitima jetu, Mbumu ashema alinkuti, “Abha” Malombolelo gakwe, “Atati”.
7 So that, no longer, art thou a servant, but a son; and, if a son, an heir also, through God.
Bhai monaga nneyo, mmwe nngabha mmatumwa kabhili, ikabhe mmana. Bhai ibhaga mmana, shimposhele yowe a Nnungu ibhaabhishilenje ashibhana bhabho.
8 But, at that time—not knowing God, ye were in servitude unto them who, by nature, are not Gods;
Pabha bhukalago nkaamanyangaga a Nnungu, kwa nneyo mwashinkwaakamulilanga liengo ashimaoka bhalinginji nngabha a Nnungu bha kweli.
9 Whereas, now, having acknowledged God, —or rather, having been acknowledged by God, how turn ye back again unto the weak and beggarly elementary principles, unto which, over again, ye are wishing, to come into servitude?
Bhai pabha nnaino mwamanyinji a Nnungu, eu tujile nnimanyikanga na a Nnungu, igala nkukombolanga bhuli kugabhujila kabhili majiganyo gangali ga mmbone nkupinga mmanganje bhatumwa kabhili?
10 Days, ye do narrowly observer, and months, and seasons, and years: —
Nnakagulilanga mobha na miei na malanga na yaka.
11 I am afraid of you—lest by any means, in vain, I should have toiled for you!
Nguna kwiijogopela kuti liengo lininkamulilenje linabha lyayoyo!
12 Become ye as, I, because, I also, [was] as, ye, —brethren, I entreat you. Not at all, have ye wronged me.
Mwangandendelanga shindu shoshowe sha nyata.
13 Howbeit ye know that, by reason of a weakness of the flesh, I myself announced the glad-message unto you, formerly;
Ikabhe mmumanyinji kuti gwantai nannungushiyenje Ngani ja Mmbone akuno nililwala.
14 And, your trial, in my flesh, ye despised not, neither spat ye [in disgust], but, as a messenger of God, ye welcomed me—as Christ Jesus.
Mwashinkulingwanga kwa ligongo lya lwala kwangu, nkali nneyo mwanganyegayanga wala kungana, ikabhe nshinkumboshelanga malinga malaika jwa a Nnungu, eu malinga a Yeshu Kilishitu bhayene.
15 Where, then, is the happiness ye accounted yours? For I bear you witness—that, if possible, your eyes, ye would have dug out, and given unto me.
Shikoposhele nndi shantendilenje nnekanje nkali kuangalala kwenunnji? Pabha nne nguti nnei, gegala mobha gala kaliji nkaishoshiyenje nitenda indu kwa ligongo lyangu nne, nkakombolenje nkali kumba meyo genunji.
16 So then, your enemy, have I become, by dealing truthfully with you?
Bhuli, nnaino njibha nampwai nnjenunji ga bheleketa ya kweli?
17 They shew a zeal for you, not honourably, but wish, to shut you out, in order that ye may be zealous for, them.
Bhene bhananji bhanakwiitemba kumpinganga, nngabha kwa kumpinjilanga ya mmbone. Ikabhe bhanaapinganga kunnekanyanga na nne, nkupinga mwaatendelanje liengo bhene bhanganyabho.
18 Howbeit it is, honourable, to show zeal in what is honourable at all times, and not only when I am present with you; —
Ni shammbone mobha gowe kutenda ya mmbone, wala nngabha mobha gungubha na mmanganyanjipe.
19 My dear children! for whom I, again, am in birth-pains, until Christ be formed within you; —
Ashibhanangu, inamboteka malinga bhakongwe bhakwete shitumbo, nneyo peyo shingupotekwa kwa ligongo lyenunji mpaka pushinnandananje na a Kilishitu mmitima jenunji.
20 I could wish, however, to be present with you, even now, and to change my voice, —because I am perplexed regarding you.
Kaliji nnaino ngaaliji na mmanganyanji, nkamweninji shinguti bheleketa! Pabha ngunakola lipamba kwa ligongo lyenunji!
21 Tell me! ye who, under law, are wishing to be: The law, do ye not hear?
Nnugulilanje mmanganyanji Mmagalatia, nkupinganga kagulila Shalia ja a Musha, bhuli, nkapilikananga shijilugula Shaliajo?
22 For it is written, that, Abraham, had two sons—one by the bondmaid, and one by the free woman;
Pabha ishijandikwa kuti, a Bhulaimu bhashinkukola bhana bhabhili, jumo abhelekwe na bhakongwe bhaliji bhatumwa bhabho, na jwabhili abhelekwe na akongobhabho.
23 But, he that was of the bondmaid, after the flesh, had been born, whereas, he that was of the free woman, through means of a promise.
Mwana abhelekwe na bhakongwe bhaliji bhatumwa bhala, pabhelekwe nngabha kwa miadi jojowe ja a Nnungu, ikabhe mwana abhelekwe na akongobhabho, pabhelekwe kwa miadi na a Nnungu.
24 Which things, indeed, may bear another meaning; for, the same, are two covenants, —one, indeed, from Mount Sinai, into bondage, bringing forth, the which is Hagar, —
Genega gashibha nnandanyo, pabha bhene bhanabhakongwe bhabhilibha bhashibhanganga malinga malagano gabhili, limo kukoposhela kushitumbi sha Shinai, litepo lya a Ajili libhelekwele muutumwa.
25 And, the Hagar, is Mount Sinai, in Arabia, —she answereth, however, unto the present Jerusalem, for she is in bondage with her children;
Pabha a Ajili pubhali malinga shitumbi sha ku Shinai sha ku Alabhia, gushilandana na ku Yelushalemu ja nnaino, pabha Shinai muuli muutumwa pamo na ashibhanagwe.
26 But, the Jerusalem above, is free, —the which is our mother;
Kwa nneyo Yelushalemu ja kunani ja ungwana, numbe ni anyina bhetu.
27 For it is written—Be gladdened, O barren one! that wast not giving birth, break forth and shout, thou that wast not in birth-pains, —because, more, are the children of the deserted one, than of her that had the husband.
Pabha ishijandikwa, “Mwinonyele mwe anannii, nkaabheleka bhana, nng'utiye lilobhe mwe nkanabhe kola shitumbo, pabha bhana bha bhakongwe bhaleshilwe, bhabhagwinjinji, kupunda bhakwete bhalume.”
28 And, we, brethren, after the manner of Isaac, are children of a promise.
Bhai ashaalongo ajangunji, na uwe ni bhana a Nnungu kwa ligongo ja miadi malinga ja a Ishaka.
29 But, just as, then, he that after the manner of the flesh had been born, did persecute him who [had been born] after the manner of the Spirit, thus, also now.
Ikabheje ni malinga gene mobha gala, mwana abhelekwe na bhatumwa shanshimile jwene abhelekwe kwa Mbumu jwa a Nnungu, nneyo peyo shiili nnaino.
30 But, what saith the scripture? Cast out the serving woman and her son; for in nowise shall the son of the serving woman inherit with the son of the free.
Bhai majandiko gakuti bhuli? Gakuti “Mwaabhinganje bhakongwe bhatumwa naka mwana gwabho, pabha mwana jwa bhatumwa akaapata ulishi pamo naka mwana abhelekwe na bhakongwe bhangwana.”
31 Wherefore, brethren, we are not children of a serving woman, but of the free: —
Kwa nneyo ashaalongo ajangu, uwe nngabha bhana bha bhakongwe bhatumwa, ikabheje bhana bha bhakongwe bhangwana.
