Galatians 1
1 Paul, an apostle, —not from men, nor through man, but through Jesus Christ, and God the Father who raised him from among the dead,
পৌল, একজন প্রেরিতশিষ্য—মানুষের কাছ থেকে বা কোনো মানুষের দ্বারা প্রেরিত নয়, কিন্তু যীশু খ্রীষ্টের দ্বারা ও যিনি তাঁকে মৃত্যু থেকে জীবিত করে তুলেছেন, সেই পিতা ঈশ্বরের দ্বারা নিযুক্ত—
2 And all the brethren with me; —unto the assemblies of Galatia:
এবং আমার সঙ্গী সমস্ত ভাই, আমরা গালাতিয়ার সকল মণ্ডলীকে এই পত্র লিখছি:
3 Favour unto you and peace, from God our Father, and Lord Jesus Christ, —
আমাদের পিতা ঈশ্বর ও প্রভু যীশু খ্রীষ্ট তোমাদের অনুগ্রহ ও শান্তি দান করুন।
4 Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us out of the present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father, — (aiōn g165)
তিনি আমাদের সমস্ত পাপের জন্য নিজের জীবন দিয়েছেন যেন আমাদের ঈশ্বর ও পিতার ইচ্ছা অনুযায়ী বর্তমান মন্দ যুগ থেকে আমাদের উদ্ধার করতে পারেন। (aiōn g165)

6 I marvel that, thus quickly, ye are moving away from him that called you in the favour of Christ, unto a different glad-message, —
আমি আশ্চর্য বোধ করছি যে, যিনি তোমাদের খ্রীষ্টের অনুগ্রহে আহ্বান করেছেন, তাঁকে তোমরা এত শীঘ্র ছেড়ে দিয়ে, অন্য এক সুসমাচারের দিকে ঝুঁকে পড়েছ—
7 Which is not, another, only there are, some, that are troubling you, and wishing to change the glad-message of the Christ.
যা আসলে কোনো সুসমাচারই নয়। স্পষ্টত, কিছু লোক তোমাদের বিভ্রান্ত করছে এবং খ্রীষ্টের সুসমাচারকে বিকৃত করার চেষ্টা করছে।
8 But, even if, we, or, a messenger out of heaven, announce a glad-message [unto you] aside from that which we announced unto you, accursed, let him be!
কিন্তু যে সুসমাচার আমরা তোমাদের কাছে প্রচার করেছিলাম, তা ছাড়া অন্য কোনো সুসমাচার যদি আমরা বা স্বর্গ থেকে আগত কোনো দূতও প্রচার করে, তাহলে সে চিরকালের জন্য অভিশপ্ত হোক।
9 As we have said before, even now, again, I say: If anyone is announcing unto you a glad-message aside from that which ye accepted, accursed, let him be!
যেমন আমরা এর আগে বলেছি, তেমনই আমি এখন আবার বলছি, তোমরা যে সুসমাচার গ্রহণ করেছ, তা ছাড়া অন্য কোনও সুসমাচার কেউ যদি প্রচার করে, তাহলে সে চিরকালের জন্য অভিশপ্ত হোক।
10 For am I, even now, persuading, men, or God? Or am I seeking to please, men? If I had been still pleasing, men, Christ’s servant, had I not been!
আমি কি এখন মানুষের সমর্থন পেতে চাইছি, না ঈশ্বরের? অথবা, আমি কি মানুষকে সন্তুষ্ট করার চেষ্টা করছি? আমি যদি এখনও মানুষকে সন্তুষ্ট করার চেষ্টা করতাম, আমি খ্রীষ্টের একজন দাস হতাম না।
11 For I make known unto you, brethren, as to the glad-message which was announced by me, that it is not after man;
ভাইবোনেরা, আমি তোমাদের জানাতে চাই, যে সুসমাচার আমি প্রচার করেছি, তা মানবসৃষ্ট কোনো বিষয় নয়।
12 For neither, from man, did I accept it, nor was taught [it], —but through a revealing of Jesus Christ.
কোনো মানুষের কাছে আমি তা পাইনি, কিংবা শিক্ষাও পাইনি; বরং যীশু খ্রীষ্ট নিজেই আমার কাছে তা প্রকাশ করেছিলেন।
13 For ye have heard, as to my own manner of life, at one time, in Judaism, how that, exceedingly, was I persecuting the assembly of God, and laying it waste,
কারণ ইহুদি ধর্মে আমার অতীত জীবনের কথা তোমরা তো শুনেছ। ঈশ্বরের মণ্ডলীকে আমি কী মারাত্মকরূপে অত্যাচার ও ধ্বংস করার চেষ্টা করতাম।
14 And was making advancement, in Judaism, above many contemporaries in my nation, being, surpassingly zealous, of my paternal instructions.
আমি ইহুদি ধর্মশিক্ষায় আমার সমবয়সি অনেক ইহুদিকে ছাড়িয়ে গিয়েছিলাম এবং আমার পূর্বপুরুষদের রীতিনীতি পালন করায় আমি ছিলাম খুব আগ্রহী।
15 But, when God, who set me apart from my mother’s womb and called me through his favour, was well-pleased
কিন্তু ঈশ্বর, যিনি মাতৃগর্ভ থেকে আমাকে পৃথক করেছেন এবং তাঁর অনুগ্রহে আমাকে আহ্বান করেছেন,
16 to reveal his Son in me, that I might announce the glad-message regarding him among the nations, straightway, I conferred not with flesh and blood,
তিনি যখন তাঁর পুত্রকে আমার মধ্যে প্রকাশ করতে ইচ্ছা করলেন, যেন আমি অইহুদি জাতিদের কাছে তাঁকে প্রচার করি, তখন আমি এক মুহূর্তের জন্যও কোনো মানুষের সঙ্গে পরামর্শ করিনি,
17 Neither went I up unto Jerusalem unto them who, before me, were apostles, —but I went away into Arabia, and again returned unto Damascus.
এমনকি যাঁরা আমার আগে প্রেরিত হয়েছিলেন আমি তাঁদের সঙ্গে সাক্ষাৎ করার জন্য জেরুশালেমেও গেলাম না, কিন্তু আমি সঙ্গে সঙ্গে আরবে চলে গেলাম ও পরে দামাস্কাসে ফিরে এলাম।
18 Then, after three years, went I up unto Jerusalem, to become acquainted with Cephas, and tarried with him fifteen days;
এরপর, তিন বছর পরে, পিতরের সঙ্গে দেখা করার জন্য আমি জেরুশালেমে গেলাম ও পনেরো দিন তাঁর সঙ্গে কাটালাম।
19 But, other of the apostles, saw I none, save James the brother of the Lord: —
সেখানে অন্য প্রেরিতশিষ্যদের মধ্যে আর কাউকে দেখতে পেলাম না, কেবলমাত্র প্রভুর ভাই যাকোব ছিলেন।
20 Now, as touching the things which I am writing to you, lo! before God, I am not guilty of falsehood: —
ঈশ্বরের সাক্ষাতে আমি তোমাদের আশ্বস্ত করে বলছি, আমি তোমাদের কাছে যা লিখছি, তা মিথ্যা নয়।
21 After that, I went into the regions of Syria and Cilicia,
তারপর আমি সিরিয়া ও কিলিকিয়া প্রদেশে গেলাম।
22 And was still unknown, by face, unto the assemblies of Judaea which were in Christ, —
আমি খ্রীষ্টে স্থিত যিহূদিয়ার মণ্ডলীগুলির কাছে ব্যক্তিগতভাবে অপরিচিত ছিলাম।
23 Only they were hearing—He that was persecuting us formerly, now, is announcing the glad-message of the faith which he formerly laid waste;
তারা কেবলমাত্র এই সংবাদ পেয়েছিল, “আগে যে লোকটি আমাদের উপর অত্যাচার করত, সে এখন সেই বিশ্বাসের কথা প্রচার করছে, যা সে আগে ধ্বংস করতে চেয়েছিল।”
24 And they were glorifying, God, in me.
আর তারা আমার কারণে ঈশ্বরের প্রশংসা করতে লাগল।
