< Ezra 8 >

1 Now, these, are their ancestral heads, and their genealogical register, —even of those who came up with me, in the reign of Artaxerxes the king, out of Babylon: —
Wọ̀nyí ni àwọn olórí ìdílé àti àwọn tí ó fi orúkọ sílẹ̀ pẹ̀lú àwọn tì wọn gòkè pẹ̀lú mi láti Babeli ní àkókò ìjọba Artasasta ọba:
2 Of the sons of Phinehas, Gershom, of the sons of Ithamar, Daniel, —of the sons of David, Hattush;
nínú àwọn ọmọ Finehasi: Gerṣomu; nínú àwọn ọmọ Itamari: Daniẹli; nínú àwọn ọmọ Dafidi: Hattusi,
3 Of the sons of Shecaniah, of the sons of Parosh, Zechariah, —and, with him—by genealogical registry of males, a hundred and fifty:
nínú àwọn ọmọ Ṣekaniah; nínú àwọn ọmọ Paroṣi: Sekariah, àti pé àádọ́jọ ọkùnrin fi orúkọ sílẹ̀ pẹ̀lú rẹ;
4 Of the sons of Pahath-moab, Eliehoenai, son of Zerahiah, —and, with him, two hundred males;
nínú àwọn ọmọ Pahati-Moabu: Elihoenai ọmọ Serahiah àti àwọn igba ọkùnrin pẹ̀lú rẹ̀;
5 Of the sons of Zattu, Shecaniah, the son of Jehaziel, —and, with him, three hundred males;
nínú àwọn ọmọ Sattu: Ṣekaniah ọmọ Jahasieli àti àwọn ọ̀ọ́dúnrún ọkùnrin pẹ̀lú rẹ̀;
6 And, of the sons of Adin, Ebed, son of Jonathan, —and, with him, fifty males;
nínú àwọn ọmọ Adini: Ebedi ọmọ Jonatani, àti àádọ́ta ọkùnrin pẹ̀lú rẹ̀;
7 And, of the sons of Elam, Jeshaiah, son of Athaliah, —and, with him, seventy males;
nínú àwọn ọmọ Elamu: Jeṣaiah ọmọ Ataliah àwọn àádọ́rin ọkùnrin pẹ̀lú rẹ̀;
8 And, of the sons of Shephatiah, Zebadiah, son of Michael, —and, with him, eighty males;
nínú àwọn ọmọ Ṣefatia: Sebadiah ọmọ Mikaeli, àti ọgọ́rin ọkùnrin pẹ̀lú rẹ̀;
9 Of the sons of Joab, Obadiah, son of Jehiel, and, with him, two hundred and eighteen males;
nínú àwọn ọmọ Joabu: Obadiah ọmọ Jehieli àti ogún ó lé nígba ó dín méjì ọkùnrin pẹ̀lú rẹ̀;
10 And, of the sons of Bani, Shelomith, son of Josiphiah, —and, with him, a hundred and sixty males;
nínú àwọn ọmọ Bani: Ṣelomiti ọmọ Josafiah, àti ọgọ́jọ ọkùnrin pẹ̀lú rẹ̀;
11 And, of the sons of Bebai, Zechariah, son of Bebai, and, with him, twenty-eight males;
nínú àwọn ọmọ Bebai: Sekariah ọmọ Bebai àti ọkùnrin méjìdínlọ́gbọ̀n pẹ̀lú rẹ̀;
12 And, of the sons of Azgad, Johanan, son of Hakkatan, —and, with him, a hundred and ten males;
nínú àwọn ọmọ Asgadi: Johanani ọmọ Hakatani, àti àádọ́fà ọkùnrin pẹ̀lú rẹ̀;
13 And, of the later sons of Adonikam, these being their names, Eliphelet, Jeuel, and Shemaiah, —and, with them, sixty males;
nínú àwọn ọmọ Adonikami: àwọn ti ó gbẹ̀yìn, tì orúkọ wọn ń jẹ́ Elifaleti, Jeieli àti Ṣemaiah, àti ọgọ́ta ọkùnrin pẹ̀lú wọn;
14 And, of the sons of Bigvai, Uthai and Zabbud, —and, with him, seventy males.
nínú àwọn ọmọ Bigfai: Uttai àti Sakkuri, àti àádọ́rin ọkùnrin pẹ̀lú wọn.
15 And I gathered them together, unto the river that cometh into Ahava, and we encamped there three days, —and I informed myself among the people and the priests, and, of the sons of Levi, found I none there.
Èmi kó wọn jọ pọ̀ si etí odò ti ń sàn lọ sí Ahafa, a pàgọ́ síbẹ̀ fún odidi ọjọ́ mẹ́ta, nígbà ti mo wo àárín àwọn ènìyàn àti àárín àwọn àlùfáà, ń kò rí ọmọ Lefi kankan níbẹ̀.
16 So I sent for Eliezer, for Ariel, for Shemaiah, and for Elnathan, and for Jarib, and for Elnathan, and for Nathan, and for Zechariah, and for Meshullam, chief men, —also for Joiarib and for Elnathan, teachers.
Nígbà náà ni mo pe Elieseri, Arieli, Ṣemaiah, Elnatani, Jaribi, Elnatani, Natani, Sekariah, àti Meṣullamu, tí wọ́n jẹ́ olórí, àti Joiaribu àti Elnatani tí wọ́n jẹ́ onímọ̀ ìjìnlẹ̀,
17 And I sent them forth unto Iddo the chief, at the place Casiphia, —and I put into their mouth words, to speak unto Iddo and his brethren the Nethinim, at the place Casiphia, to bring unto us attendants for the house of our God.
mo sì rán wọn tí àwọn ti àṣẹ sí ọ̀dọ̀ Iddo, tí ó jẹ́ olórí ní ibi ti a ń pè ni Kasifia, mo sì sọ fún wọn ohun tí wọn yóò wí fun Iddo àti àwọn Lefi arákùnrin rẹ̀, tí wọ́n jẹ́ òṣìṣẹ́ tẹmpili ní Kasifia pé, kí wọn mú àwọn ìránṣẹ́ wá sí ọ̀dọ̀ wa fún ilé Ọlọ́run wa.
18 So they brought unto us, according to the good hand of our God upon us, a man of discretion, of the sons of Mahli, son of Levi, son of Israel, —and Sherebiah, and his sons and his brethren, eighteen;
Nítorí ọwọ́ àánú Ọlọ́run wa wà lára wa, wọ́n sì mú Ṣerebiah wá fún wa, ẹni tí ó kún ojú òsùwọ̀n láti ìran Mahili, ọmọ Lefi, ọmọ Israẹli, àti àwọn ọmọ Ṣerebiah àti àwọn arákùnrin rẹ̀, wọ́n jẹ́ ọkùnrin méjìdínlógún.
19 and Hashabiah, and, with him, Jeshaiah, of the sons of Merari, —his brethren and their sons, twenty;
Àti Haṣabiah, pẹ̀lú Jeṣaiah láti ìran Merari, pẹ̀lú àwọn arákùnrin rẹ àti àwọn ọmọ wọ́n jẹ́ ogún ọkùnrin.
20 and, of the Nethinim whom David and the rulers had given for the service of the Levites, Nethinim, two hundred and twenty, —all of them, expressed by name.
Wọ́n sì tún mú ogún lé nígba àwọn òṣìṣẹ́ tẹmpili wá—àwọn ènìyàn tí Dafidi àti àwọn ìjòyè rẹ̀ gbé kalẹ̀ láti ran àwọn ọmọ Lefi lọ́wọ́. Gbogbo wọn ni a ṣe àkọsílẹ̀ orúkọ wọn.
21 Then proclaimed I there a fast, by the river Ahava, that we might humble ourselves before our God, —to seek of him a smooth way, for us and for our little ones, and for all our substance.
Níbẹ̀, ní ẹ̀bá odò Ahafa, mo kéde àwẹ̀, kí a ba à le rẹ ara wa sílẹ̀ níwájú Ọlọ́run, kí a sì béèrè lọ́wọ́ rẹ̀ fún ìrìnàjò àìléwu fún wa àti àwọn ọmọ wa àti fún gbogbo ohun ìní wa.
22 For I was ashamed to ask of the king, a band of soldiers and horsemen, to help us against the enemy in the way, because we had spoken unto the king, saying, The hand of our God, is upon all who seek him, for good, But, his power and his anger, are against all who forsake him.
Mo tijú láti béèrè lọ́wọ́ ọba fún àwọn jagunjagun orí ilẹ̀, àti ti orí ẹṣin láti dáàbò bò wá kúrò lọ́wọ́ àwọn ọ̀tá ní ọ̀nà wa, nítorí àti sọ fún ọba pé, “Ọwọ́ àánú Ọlọ́run wà ní ara gbogbo ẹni tí ó gbé ojú sókè sí i, ṣùgbọ́n ìbínú ńlá rẹ wà lórí ẹni tó kọ̀ ọ́ sílẹ̀.”
23 So we fasted and sought of our God, concerning this, —and he suffered himself to be entreated by us.
Bẹ́ẹ̀ ni a sì gbààwẹ̀, a sì bẹ̀bẹ̀ fún èyí lọ́dọ̀ Ọlọ́run wa, òun sì gbọ́ àdúrà wa.
24 Then I separated, from among the rulers of the priests, twelve, —even Sherebiah, Hashabiah, and, with them, from among their brethren, ten;
Nígbà náà ni mo ya àwọn àlùfáà tó jẹ́ aṣáájú méjìlá sọ́tọ̀, pẹ̀lú Ṣerebiah, Haṣabiah àti mẹ́wàá lára àwọn arákùnrin wọn,
25 and weighed unto them, the silver and the gold, and the utensils, —the heave-offering for the house of our God, which the king and his counselors and his rulers and all Israel who were present, had offered:
mo sì fi òsùwọ̀n wọn ọrẹ fàdákà àti wúrà àti àwọn ohun èlò tí ọba, àti ti àwọn ìgbìmọ̀, àti ti àwọn ìjòyè, àti ti gbogbo ọmọ Israẹli tí ó wà níbẹ̀, tí wọ́n gbe sílẹ̀ fún ilé Ọlọ́run wa.
26 I even weighed unto their hand, of silver, six hundred and fifty talents, and, of utensils of silver, a hundred talents, —of gold, a hundred talents;
Mo fi òsùwọ̀n wọn ẹgbẹ̀ta lé láàádọ́ta tálẹ́ǹtì fàdákà, àti ohun èlò fàdákà tí ó wọn ọgọ́rùn-ún tálẹ́ǹtì, ọgọ́rùn-ún tálẹ́ǹtì wúrà,
27 and, bowls of gold, twenty, of a thousand drams, —and, utensils of fine bright bronze, two, precious as gold.
ogún ago wúrà tí iye rẹ̀ tó ẹgbẹ̀rún dariki, àti ohun èlò idẹ dáradára méjì ti ó ni iye lórí bí i wúrà.
28 Then said I unto them, Ye, are hallowed unto Yahweh, and, the utensils, are hallowed, —and, the silver and the gold, are a freewill offering, unto Yahweh, God of your fathers:
Mo wí fún wọn pé, “Ẹ̀yin àti àwọn ohun èlò wọ̀nyí ni a ti yà sí mímọ́ fún Olúwa. Fàdákà àti wúrà sì jẹ́ ọrẹ àtinúwá sí Olúwa Ọlọ́run àwọn baba yín.
29 Watch and guard, until ye weigh [them] before the rulers of the priests and the Levites and the ancestral rulers of Israel, in Jerusalem, —in the chambers of the house of Yahweh.
Ẹ máa tọ́jú wọn dáradára títí ẹ̀yin yóò fi fi òsùwọ̀n wọ̀n wọ́n jáde kúrò ni ilé Olúwa ni Jerusalẹmu ní iwájú àwọn aṣáájú, àwọn àlùfáà àti àwọn ọmọ Lefi, àti ní iwájú olórí ìdílé gbogbo ni Israẹli.”
30 So the priests and the Levites accepted the weight of the silver and the gold, and the utensils, —to bring to Jerusalem, unto the house of our God.
Nígbà náà ni àwọn àlùfáà àti àwọn Lefi gba fàdákà àti wúrà àti àwọn ohun èlò mímọ́ tí a ti wọ̀n jáde fún kíkó lọ sí ilé Ọlọ́run wa ní Jerusalẹmu.
31 Then brake we up from the river of Ahava, on the twelfth of the first month, to journey unto Jerusalem, —and, the hand of our God, was upon us, and he delivered us from the grasp of the enemy and of the lier in wait, by the way.
Ní ọjọ́ kejìlá oṣù kìn-ín-ní ni a gbéra kúrò ní ẹ̀bá odò Ahafa láti lọ sí Jerusalẹmu. Ọwọ́ Ọlọ́run wa wà lára wa, ó sì dáàbò bò wá kúrò lọ́wọ́ àwọn ọ̀tá àti àwọn adigunjalè ní ọ̀nà wa.
32 So we came to Jerusalem, —and we rested there, three days.
Bẹ́ẹ̀ ni a gúnlẹ̀ sí Jerusalẹmu, níbi tí a ti sinmi fún ọjọ́ mẹ́ta.
33 And, on the fourth day, was weighed—the silver and the gold and the utensils, in the house of our God, unto the hand of Meremoth son of Uriah, the priest, and, with him, was Eleazar son of Phinehas, —and, with them, were Jozabad son of Jeshua and Noadiah son of Binnui, Levites:
Ní ọjọ́ kẹrin, a wọn ohun èlò fàdákà àti wúrà àti àwọn ohun èlò mímọ lé àlùfáà Meremoti ọmọ Uriah lọ́wọ́, láti inú ilé Ọlọ́run wa, Eleasari ọmọ Finehasi wà pẹ̀lú rẹ̀, bẹ́ẹ̀ ni àwọn ọmọ Lefi; Josabadi ọmọ Jeṣua àti Noadiah ọmọ Binnui wà níbẹ̀ pẹ̀lú.
34 by the number and by the weight of the whole, —and all the weight, was written down, at that time.
Gbogbo nǹkan ni a kà, tí a sì wọ̀n, gbogbo iye ìwọ̀n ni a sì ṣe àkọsílẹ̀ rẹ̀ sínú ìwé ní ìgbà náà.
35 They who came in out of the captivity, Sons of the Exile, offered as ascending-sacrifices unto the God of Israel—bullocks twelve for all Israel, rams ninety-six, young sheep seventy-seven, he-goats for bearing sin, twelve, —the whole, as an ascending-sacrifice unto Yahweh.
Nígbà náà ni àwọn ìgbèkùn tí ó ti padà láti ilẹ̀ àjèjì rú ẹbọ sísun sí Ọlọ́run Israẹli: akọ màlúù méjìlá fún gbogbo Israẹli, àgbò mẹ́rìndínlọ́gọ́rùn-ún, ọ̀dọ́-àgùntàn mẹ́tàdínlọ́gọ́rin, àti òbúkọ méjìlá fún ẹbọ ẹ̀ṣẹ̀. Gbogbo èyí jẹ́ ẹbọ sísun sí Olúwa.
36 Then delivered they the decrees of the king, unto the satraps of the king, and the pashas Beyond the River, —and they upheld the people and the house of God.
Wọ́n sì jíṣẹ́ àṣẹ ọba fún àwọn ìjòyè àti àwọn baálẹ̀ agbègbè Eufurate, wọ́n sì ṣe ìrànlọ́wọ́ fún àwọn ènìyàn àti ilé Ọlọ́run.
