1 Then, Darius the king, issued an edict, —and they made search in the house of the books, where the treasures were laid up in Babylon.

2 And there was found in Achmetha, in the fortress which is in the province of Media, a roll, —and, thus, was it written therein, as a record: —

3 In the first year of Cyrus the king, Cyrus the king, issued an edict, as to the house of God in Jerusalem, Let the house be built, the place where they used to offer sacrifices, and let the foundations thereof be reared, —the height thereof, sixty cubits, the breadth thereof, sixty cubits;
Na mobu ya liboso ya mokonzi Sirisi, mokonzi Sirisi azwaki mokano na tina na Tempelo ya Nzambe kati na Yelusalemi: Tempelo ya Nzambe esengeli kotongama lisusu mpo ete ezala esika ya kobonza mbeka; boye esengeli kozongisa miboko na yango. Tempelo ekozala na bametele pene tuku misato na bosanda mpe bametele pene tuku misato na mokuse.
4 layers of large stones, three, and one layer of new timber, —and, as for the expenses, out of the house of the king, let them be given.
Ekozala na milongo misato ya mabanga bakata mpe molongo moko ya mabaya ya sika mpo na motondo. Mbongo ya kofuta mpo na misala yango ekowuta na bomengo ya mokonzi.
5 Moreover also, the utensils of the house of God, of gold and silver, which, Nebuchadnezzar, took forth out of the temple that was in Jerusalem, and brought unto Babylon, let them again be taken to the temple which is in Jerusalem every one to its place, and lay them up in the house of God.
Lisusu, biloko basala na wolo mpe na palata ya Ndako ya Nzambe, oyo Nabukodonozori azwaki na Tempelo kati na Yelusalemi mpe amemaki na Babiloni, esengeli kozonga na bisika na yango kati na Tempelo, na Yelusalemi; basengeli kotia yango kati na Ndako ya Nzambe.
6 Now, therefore, Tattenai pasha Beyond the River, Shethar-bozenai, and their associates, the Apharsachites, who are Beyond the River, —be ye far from thence:
Sik’oyo, Tatinayi, moyangeli ya etuka oyo ezali na ngambo ya weste ya ebale Efrate, Shetari-Bozinayi mpe bino baninga na bango ya mosala, bakambi ya etuka, bozala mosika ya likambo oyo.
7 let alone the work of this house of God, —the pasha of Judah, and the elders of Judah, this house of God, shall build upon its place;
Botika ete misala ya kotonga lisusu Ndako oyo ya Nzambe ekoba. Tika ete moyangeli mpe bakambi ya Bayuda batonga yango lisusu na esika na yango ya kala.
8 And, from me, is issued an edict, as to that which ye shall do, with these elders of Judah, for the building of this house of God, —That, of the resources of the king, even the tribute Beyond the River, forthwith, the expenses be given unto these men, for they must not be hindered.
Tala mitindo oyo ngai nazali kopesa bino na tina na oyo bosengeli kosala mpo na kosunga bakambi ya Bayuda mpe mpo na misala ya botongi Ndako oyo ya Nzambe: ‹ Bosengeli tango nyonso kozwaka mbongo ya misala na bomengo ya mokonzi, oyo ewutaka na mpako oyo etuka ya ngambo ya weste ya ebale Efrate efutaka mpo na mokonzi, mpo na kofuta bato wana na ndenge ekoki mpe mpo ete misala etelema te.
9 And, whatever may be the need—whether young bullocks or rams or lambs for ascending-sacrifices unto the God of the heavens, wheat, salt, wine or oil, according to the command of the priests who are in Jerusalem, —that it he given to them day by day, without fail;
Bosengeli mpe kopesaka mikolo nyonso epai ya Banganga-Nzambe ya Yelusalemi biloko nyonso oyo bakozala na yango na bosenga mpo na mbeka ya kotumba ya Nzambe ya Likolo: bana ngombe ya mibali, bameme ya mibali, bana meme, ble, mungwa, masanga ya vino mpe mafuta. Soki bakomi na bosenga ya biloko, bino bosengeli kopesa bango yango mikolo nyonso, mpe esengeli te kozanga,
10 that they may be offering sweet-smelling sacrifices unto the God of the heavens, —and be praying for the life of the king, and his sons.
mpo ete bakoka kobonzaka mbeka ya solo kitoko epai ya Nzambe ya Likolo, mpe mpo ete basambelaka mpo na bomoi malamu ya mokonzi elongo na bana na ye ya mibali.
11 And, from me, is issued an edict, that, any man who shall alter this message, let timber be torn out of his house, and being lifted up let him be fastened thereunto, —and his house, a dunghill, be made for this;
Bongo tala mokano oyo nasili kozwa mpo na moto nyonso oyo akobongola to akotosa te mitindo oyo: bakolongola libaya moko kati na ndako na ye, bakotelemisa yango, bakodiembika ye na libaya yango mpe bakokomisa ndako na ye mopiku ya biloko ya mbindo.
12 and, the God who hath caused his Name to dwell there, destroy any king or people, who shall put forth their hand to alter to destroy this house of God, which is in Jerusalem. I, Darius, have issued an edict, forthwith, let it be done.
Tika ete Nzambe oyo atiaki Kombo na Ye kuna akweyisa mokonzi nyonso to bato nyonso oyo bakomeka kotombola loboko mpo na koboya kotosa to kobongola mitindo na ngai na kobuka Tempelo oyo ya Nzambe kati na Yelusalemi. Ezali ngai, Dariusi, moto napesi mitindo yango. Tika ete botosa yango malamu mpe na lombangu. › »
13 Then, Tattenai the pasha Beyond the River, Shethar-bozenai, and their associates, —according as Darius the king had sent, so, forthwith, they did.
Boye, Tatinayi, moyangeli ya etuka ya ngambo ya weste ya ebale Efrate, mpe Shetari-Bozinayi elongo na baninga na bango ya mosala batosaki mitindo ya mokonzi Dariusi na lombangu mpe na ndenge ezaleli.
14 And, the elders of the Jews, went on building and prospering, through the prophesying of Haggai the prophet, and Zechariah son of Iddo, —they both built and finished, owing to the edict of the God of Israel, and owing to the edict of Cyrus and Darius, and Artaxerxes king of Persia.
Boye bakambi ya Bayuda bakobaki misala ya kotonga, mpe balongaki wana balendisamaki na maloba ya basakoli Aje mpe Zakari, mokitani ya Ido. Basilisaki kotonga kolanda mitindo ya Nzambe ya Isalaele mpe ya Sirisi, Dariusi, mpe Aritakizerisesi, bakonzi ya Persi.
15 And this house was finished, by the third day of the month Adar, —the which was the sixth year of the reign of Darius the king.
Basilisaki kotonga Ndako mobimba ya Nzambe, na mokolo ya misato ya sanza ya Adari, tango mokonzi Dariusi akokisaki mibu motoba na bokonzi.
16 Then did the sons of Israel, the priests and the Levites, and the rest of the Sons of the Exile, keep the dedication of this house of God, with joy;
Bato ya Isalaele, Banganga-Nzambe, Balevi mpe bato mosusu oyo bawutaki na bowumbu basalaki feti ya libulisi ya Ndako ya Nzambe.
17 and offered, for the dedication of this house of God, bullocks, one hundred, rams, two hundred, lambs, four hundred, —and, he-goats, as a sin-offering for all Israel, twelve, according to the number of the tribes of Israel.
Babonzaki bangombe ya mibali nkama moko, bameme ya mibali nkama mibale, bana meme nkama minei mpo na libulisi ya Ndako ya Nzambe; mpe bantaba ya mibali zomi na mibale, moko mpo na ekolo moko na moko ya Isalaele, lokola mbeka mpo na masumu ya Isalaele mobimba.
18 And they set up the priests in their divisions, and the Levites in their courses, over the service of God, which was in Jerusalem, —as it is written, in the Book of Moses.
Bakabolaki mpe Banganga-Nzambe kolanda milongo na bango, mpe Balevi kolanda masanga na bango mpo na mosala ya Nzambe kati na Yelusalemi, ndenge ekomama kati na buku ya Moyize.
19 And the Sons of the Exile kept the passover, —on the fourteenth of the first month;
Na mokolo ya zomi na minei ya sanza ya liboso, bana ya Isalaele oyo bawutaki na bowumbu basepelaki feti ya Pasika.
20 for the priests and the Levites, had purified themselves, as one man, all of them, were pure, —so they slaughtered the passover for all the Sons of the Exile, and for their brethren the priests, and for themselves.
Banganga-Nzambe mpe Balevi bamipetolaki kolanda mibeko mpe bakomaki peto. Boye Balevi bakataki kingo ya mpate lokola mbeka ya Pasika mpo na bato nyonso oyo bawutaki na bowumbu, mpo na bandeko na bango, Banganga-Nzambe, mpe mpo na bango moko.
21 Therefore the sons of Israel who had returned from the Exile and all who had separated themselves from the impurity of the nations of the land unto them, did eat, —to seek Yahweh, God of Israel;
Bana ya Isalaele oyo bawutaki na bowumbu baliaki yango elongo na bato nyonso oyo bakabwanaki na misala ya mbindo ya bikolo ya mokili mpe basanganaki elongo na bango mpo na koluka Yawe, Nzambe ya Isalaele.
22 and kept the festival of unleavened cakes seven days, with joy, —for Yahweh had made them joyful, and had turned the heart of the king of Assyria towards them, to strengthen their hands, in the work of the house of God, the God of Israel.
Na mikolo sambo, basalaki na esengo feti ya Mapa ezanga levire, pamba te Yawe atondisaki bango na esengo ndenge abongolaki makanisi ya mokonzi ya Asiri mpo ete asunga bango na misala ya botongi Ndako ya Nzambe, ya Nzambe ya Isalaele.
