Ezra 2
1 Now, these, are the sons of the province, who came up from among the captives of the exile, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon exiled to Babylon, —who came back unto Jerusalem and Judah, every one unto his own city;

Abaabakulembera baali Zerubbaberi, ne Yesuwa, ne Nekkemiya, ne Seraya, ne Leeraya, ne Moluddekaayi, ne Birusani, ne Misupaali, ne Biguvaayi, ne Lekumu, ne Baana. Omuwendo gw’abantu ba Isirayiri gwali:
3 The sons of Parosh, two thousand one hundred and seventy-two;
bazzukulu ba Palosi enkumi bbiri mu kikumi mu nsavu mu babiri,
4 The sons of Shephatiah, three hundred and seventy-two;
bazzukulu ba Sefatiya bisatu mu nsavu mu babiri,
5 The sons of Arah, seven hundred and seventy-five;
bazzukulu ba Ala lusanvu mu nsavu mu bataano,
6 The sons of Pahath-moab, belonging to the sons of Jeshua, Joab, two thousand eight hundred and twelve;

12 The sons of Azgad, a thousand two hundred and twenty-two;

13 The sons of Adonikam, six hundred and sixty-six;

14 The sons of Bigvai, two thousand and fifty-six;

20 The sons of Gibbar, ninety-five;

21 The sons of Bethlehem, a hundred and twenty-three;
Abazzukulu ab’e Besirekemu kikumi mu abiri mu basatu,
22 The men of Netophah, fifty-six;
abazzukulu ab’e Netofa amakumi ataano mu mukaaga,
23 The men of Anathoth, a hundred and twenty-eight;
abazzukulu ab’e Anasosi kikumi abiri mu munaana,
24 The sons of Azmaveth, forty-two;
abazzukulu ab’e Azumavesi amakumi ana mu babiri,
25 The sons of Kiriath-arim, Chephirah and Beeroth, seven hundred and forty-three;
abazzukulu ab’e Kiriaswalimu, n’e Kefira n’e Beerosi lusanvu mu ana mu basatu,
26 The sons of Ramah and Geba, six hundred and twenty-one;
abazzukulu ab’e Laama n’e Geba lukaaga mu abiri mu omu,
27 The men of Michmas, a hundred and twenty-two:
abazzukulu ab’e Mikumasi kikumi mu abiri mu babiri,
28 The men of Bethel and Ai, two hundred and twenty-three;
abazzukulu ab’e Beseri n’e Ayi ebikumi bibiri mu abiri mu basatu,
29 The sons of Nebo, fifty-two;
abazzukulu ab’e Nebo amakumi ataano mu babiri,
30 The sons of Magbish, a hundred and fifty-six;

31 The sons of the other Elam, a thousand two hundred and fifty-four;

32 The sons of Harim, three hundred and twenty;
abazzukulu ab’e Kalimu ebikumi bisatu mu amakumi abiri,
33 The sons of Lod, Hadid and Ono, seven hundred and twenty-five;
abazzukulu ab’e Loodi, n’e Kadidi, n’e Ono lusanvu mu abiri mu bataano,
34 The sons of Jericho, three hundred and forty-five;
abazzukulu ab’e Yeriko ebikumi bisatu mu amakumi ana mu bataano,
35 The sons of Senaah, three thousand and six hundred and thirty!

36 The priests, The sons of Jedaiah of the house of Jeshua, nine hundred and seventy-three;
Bano be bakabona: bazzukulu ba Yedaya ab’ennyumba ya Yesuwa lwenda mu nsavu mu basatu,
37 The sons of Immer, a thousand and fifty-two;
bazzukulu ba Immeri lukumi mu amakumi ataano mu babiri,
38 The sons of Pashhur, a thousand two hundred and forty-seven;
bazzukulu ba Pasukuli lukumi mu bibiri mu amakumi ana mu musanvu,
39 The sons of Harim, a thousand and seventeen,
bazzukulu ba Kalimu lukumi mu kumi na musanvu.
40 The Levites, The sons of Jeshua, and Kadmiel of the sons of Hodaviah, seventy-four.
Ne bano be Baleevi: bazzukulu ba Yesuwa ne Kadumyeri ab’olunnyiriri olwa Kadaviya nsavu mu bana.
41 The singers, The sons of Asaph, a hundred and twenty-eight.
Bano be bayimbi: bazzukulu ba Asafu kikumi mu amakumi abiri mu munaana.
42 The sons of the door-keepers, The sons of Shallum, the sons of Ater, the sons of Talmon, the sons of Akkub, the sons of Hatita, the sons of Shobai, —in all, a hundred and thirty-nine.
Bano be baakuumanga enzigi za yeekaalu: bazzukulu ba Sallumu, bazzukulu ba Ateri, bazzukulu ba Talumoni, bazzukulu ba Akkubu, bazzukulu ba Katita, ne bazzukulu ba Sobayi kikumi mu amakumi asatu mu mwenda.
43 The Nethinim, The sons of Ziha, the sons of Hasupha, the sons of Tabbaoth;
Abaaweerezanga mu yeekaalu be bano: bazzukulu ba Zika, bazzukulu ba Kasufa, bazzukulu ba Tabbawoosi,
44 the sons of Keros, the sons of Siaha, the sons of Padon;
bazzukulu ba Kerosi, bazzukulu ba Siyaka, bazzukulu ba Padoni,
45 the sons of Lebanah, the sons of Hagabah, the sons of Akkub;
bazzukulu ba Lebana, bazzukulu ba Kagaba, bazzukulu ba Akkubu,
46 the sons of Hagab, the sons of Shamlai, the sons of Hanan;
bazzukulu ba Kagabu, bazzukulu ba Samulaayi, bazzukulu ba Kanani,
47 the sons of Giddel, the sons of Gahar, the sons of Reaiah;

48 the sons of Rezin, the sons of Nekoda, the sons of Gazzam;
bazzukulu ba Lezini, bazzukulu ba Nekoda, bazzukulu ba Gazzamu,
49 the sons of Uzza, the sons of Paseah, the sons of Besai;
bazzukulu ba Uzza, bazzukulu ba Paseya, bazzukulu ba Besayi,
50 the sons of Asnah, the sons of Meunim, the sons of Nephisim;
bazzukulu ba Asuna, bazzukulu ba Meyunimu, bazzukulu ba Nefisimu,
51 the sons of Bakbuk, the sons of Hakupha, the sons of Harhur;
bazzukulu ba Bakubuki, bazzukulu ba Kakufa, bazzukulu ba Kalukuli,
52 the sons of Bazluth, the sons of Mehida, the sons of Harsha;
bazzukulu ba Bazulusi, bazzukulu ba Mekida, bazzukulu ba Kalusa,
53 the sons of Barkos, the sons of Sisera, the sons of Temah;
bazzukulu ba Balukosi, bazzukulu ba Sisera, bazzukulu ba Tema,
54 the sons of Neziah, the sons of Hatipha.

55 The Sons of the Servants of Solomon. The sons of Sotai, the sons of Hasso-phereth, the sons of Peruda;
Bazzukulu b’abaweereza ba Sulemaani baali: bazzukulu ba Sotayi, bazzukulu ba Kassoferesi, bazzukulu ba Peruda,
56 the sons of Jaalah, the sons of Darkon, the sons of Giddel;
bazzukulu ba Yaala, bazzukulu ba Dalukoni, bazzukulu ba Gidderi,
57 the sons of Shephatiah, the sons of Hattil, the sons of Pochereth-hazzebaim, the sons of Ami.
bazzukulu ba Sefatiya, bazzukulu ba Kattiri, bazzukulu ba Pokeresukazzebayimu, ne bazzukulu ba Ami.
58 All the Nethinim, and the Sons of the Servants of Solomon, were three hundred and ninety-two.
Omuwendo ogw’abaaweerezanga mu yeekaalu ne bazzukulu b’abaweereza ba Sulemaani bonna awamu, gwali ebikumi bisatu mu kyenda mu babiri.
59 And, these, were they who came up from Tel-melah, Tel-harsha, Cherub, Addan, Immer; but they could not tell their ancestral house, nor their seed, whether, of Israel, they were:

60 the sons of Delaiah, the sons of Tobiah, the sons of Nekoda, —six hundred and fifty-two.
Baali bazzukulu ba Deraya, bazzukulu ba Tobiya, ne bazzukulu ba Nekoda n’omuwendo gwabwe gwali lukaaga mu amakumi ataano mu babiri.
61 And, of the sons of the priests, the sons of Habaiah, the sons of Hakkoz, —the sons of Barzillai, who took of the daughters of Barzillai the Gileadite to wife, and was called after their name.
Ne ku bakabona kwaliko bazzukulu ba Kobaya, ne bazzukulu ba Kakkozi, ne bazzukulu ba Baluzirayi eyawasa muwala wa Baluzirayi Omugireyaadi, n’atuumibwa erinnya eryo.
62 These, sought their writing wherein they were registered, but they were not found, —so they were desecrated out of the priesthood;
Ate waaliwo abalala abaanoonya amannya gaabwe mu abo abaabalibwa naye ne batagalaba, era ne batabalibwa mu bakabona kubanga kyagambibwa nti si balongoofu.
63 and the governor told them, that they must not eat of the most holy things, —until there should stand up a priest, with Lights and Perfections.
Omukulembeze n’abalagira baleme okulya ku bintu ebitukuvu ennyo, okuggyako nga waliwo kabona alina Ulimu ne Sumimu.
64 All the gathered host together, was forty-two thousand three hundred and sixty;
Bonna awamu baali emitwalo ena mu enkumi bbiri mu bisatu mu nkaga,
65 besides, their men-servants and their maid-servants who were these, seven thousand three hundred and thirty-seven, —and there pertained to them, singing men and singing women, two hundred:
okwo nga kw’otadde abaddu n’abaddu abakazi abaali kasanvu mu bisatu mu amakumi asatu mu musanvu, n’abayimbi abasajja n’abakazi abaali ebikumi bibiri.
66 their horses, were seven hundred and thirty-six, —their mules, two hundred and forty-five;
Baalina embalaasi lusanvu mu asatu mu mukaaga, n’ennyumbu ebikumi bibiri mu amakumi ana mu ttaano,
67 their camels, four hundred and thirty-five, —asses, six thousand seven hundred and twenty.
n’eŋŋamira ebikumi bina mu amakumi asatu mu ttaano, n’endogoyi kakaaga mu lusanvu mu abiri.
68 And, a portion of the ancestral chiefs, when they came to the house of Yahweh which was in Jerusalem, offered voluntarily for the house of God, to set it up on its basis.
Awo abakulu b’ennyumba z’abajjajjaabwe bwe baatuuka ku kifo ennyumba ya Mukama we yali mu Yerusaalemi, ne bawaayo ebiweebwayo nga beeyagalidde, olw’okuddaabiriza ennyumba ya Katonda.
69 According to their ability, gave they unto the treasury of the work, of gold, sixty-one thousand drams, and, of silver, five thousand manehs, —and, tunics for priests, one hundred.
Ne bawaayo mu ggwanika ng’obusobozi bwabwe bwe bwali; ne bawaayo kilo bitaano eza zaabu, ne tani ssatu, n’ebyambalo bya bakabona kikumi mu ggwanika.
70 So the priests and the Levites, and some of the people, and the singers and the doorkeepers and the Nethinim, took up their abode, in their cities, —and, all Israel, in their cities.
Awo bakabona, n’Abaleevi, n’abayimbi, n’abaakuumanga enzigi za yeekaalu, n’abakozi ba yeekaalu ne baddayo mu bibuga byabwe, awamu n’abamu ku bantu abalala, n’Abayisirayiri abalala bonna ne baddayo mu bibuga byabwe.
