Ezra 2
1 Now, these, are the sons of the province, who came up from among the captives of the exile, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon exiled to Babylon, —who came back unto Jerusalem and Judah, every one unto his own city;
Dies sind die Kinder der Landschaft, die heraufzogen aus der Gefangenschaft, die Nebukadnezar, der König zu Babel, hatte gen Babel geführt und die wieder gen Jerusalem und nach Juda kamen, ein jeglicher in seine Stadt,
2 who came in with Zerubbabel, Jeshua, Nehemiah, Seraiah, Reelaiah, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mispar, Bigvai Rehum, Baanah, —the number of the men of the people of Israel: —
und kamen mit Serubabel, Jesua, Nehemia, Seraja, Reelaja, Mardochai, Bilsa, Mispar, Bigevai, Rehum und Baana. Dies ist nun die Zahl der Männer des Volkes Israel:

58 All the Nethinim, and the Sons of the Servants of Solomon, were three hundred and ninety-two.

59 And, these, were they who came up from Tel-melah, Tel-harsha, Cherub, Addan, Immer; but they could not tell their ancestral house, nor their seed, whether, of Israel, they were:
Und diese zogen auch mit herauf von Thel-Melah, Thel-Harsa, Cherub, Addon und Immer, aber sie konnten nicht anzeigen ihr Vaterhaus noch ihr Geschlecht, ob sie aus Israel wären:
60 the sons of Delaiah, the sons of Tobiah, the sons of Nekoda, —six hundred and fifty-two.
die Kinder Delaja, die Kinder Tobia, die Kinder Nekoda, sechshundert und zweiundfünfzig.
61 And, of the sons of the priests, the sons of Habaiah, the sons of Hakkoz, —the sons of Barzillai, who took of the daughters of Barzillai the Gileadite to wife, and was called after their name.
Und von den Kindern der Priester: die Kinder Habaja, die Kinder Hakkoz, die Kinder Barsillais, der aus den Töchtern Barsillais, des Gileaditers, ein Weib nahm und ward unter ihrem Namen genannt.
62 These, sought their writing wherein they were registered, but they were not found, —so they were desecrated out of the priesthood;
Die suchten ihre Geburtsregister, und fanden keine; darum wurden sie untüchtig geachtet zum Priestertum.
63 and the governor told them, that they must not eat of the most holy things, —until there should stand up a priest, with Lights and Perfections.
Und der Landpfleger sprach zu ihnen, sie sollten nicht essen vom Hochheiligen, bis ein Priester aufstände mit dem Licht und Recht.
64 All the gathered host together, was forty-two thousand three hundred and sixty;
Der ganzen Gemeinde wie ein Mann waren zweiundvierzigtausend und dreihundertundsechzig.
65 besides, their men-servants and their maid-servants who were these, seven thousand three hundred and thirty-seven, —and there pertained to them, singing men and singing women, two hundred:
ausgenommen ihre Knechte und Mägde, derer waren siebentausend dreihundert und siebenunddreißig, dazu zweihundert Sänger und Sängerinnen.
66 their horses, were seven hundred and thirty-six, —their mules, two hundred and forty-five;
Und hatten siebenhundert und sechsunddreißig Rosse, zweihundert und fünfundvierzig Maultiere,
67 their camels, four hundred and thirty-five, —asses, six thousand seven hundred and twenty.
vierhundert und fünfunddreißig Kamele und sechstausend und siebenhundertzwanzig Esel.
68 And, a portion of the ancestral chiefs, when they came to the house of Yahweh which was in Jerusalem, offered voluntarily for the house of God, to set it up on its basis.
Und etliche Oberste der Vaterhäuser, da sie kamen zum Hause des Herrn zu Jerusalem, gaben sie freiwillig zum Hause Gottes, daß man's setzte auf seine Stätte,
69 According to their ability, gave they unto the treasury of the work, of gold, sixty-one thousand drams, and, of silver, five thousand manehs, —and, tunics for priests, one hundred.
und gaben nach ihrem Vermögen zum Schatz fürs Werk einundsechzigtausend Goldgulden und fünftausend Pfund Silber und hundert Priesterröcke.
70 So the priests and the Levites, and some of the people, and the singers and the doorkeepers and the Nethinim, took up their abode, in their cities, —and, all Israel, in their cities.
Also setzten sich die Priester und die Leviten und die vom Volk und die Sänger und die Torhüter und die Tempelknechte in ihre Städte und alles Israel in seine Städte.
