Ezekiel 47
1 Then he brought me back unto the entrance of the house, and lo! waters coming forth from under the threshold of the house eastward, because the front of the house, was to the east, —and the waters, were coming down from beneath, from the right side of the house, on the south of the altar.
Puis il me fit retourner vers l'entrée de la maison, et voici des eaux qui sortaient de dessous le seuil de la maison vers l'Orient, car le devant de la maison [était vers] l'Orient; et ces eaux-là descendaient de dessous, du côté droit de la maison de devers le côté Méridional de l'autel.
2 Then he brought me out by way of the north gate, and took me round by an outer way, unto an outer gate that which looketh eastward—and lo! waters trickling forth out of the right side.
Puis il me fit sortir par le chemin de la porte qui regardait vers le Septentrion, et me fit faire le tour par le chemin extérieur jusqu'à la porte extérieure, [même jusques] au chemin qui regardait l'Orient, et voici, les eaux coulaient du côté droit.
3 When the man went forth with a measuring line in his hand, then measured he a thousand, by the cubit, and caused me to pass through the waters—waters reaching to the ankles.
Quand cet homme commença de s'avancer vers l'Orient, il avait en sa main un cordeau, et il en mesura mille coudées; puis il me fit passer au travers de ces eaux-là, et elles me venaient jusqu'aux deux chevilles des pieds.
4 Then measured he a thousand, and caused me to pass through the waters—waters reaching to the knees, —and again measured he a thousand, and caused me to pass through-waters reaching to the loins.
Puis il mesura mille [autres coudées]; et il me fit passer au travers de ces eaux-là, et elles me venaient jusqu'aux deux genoux; puis il mesura mille [autres coudées]; et il me fit passer au travers de ces eaux-là, et elles me venaient jusques aux reins.
5 Then measured he a thousand—a river which I could not pass through—for the waters had risen-waters to swim in, a river, that could not be forded.
Puis il mesura mille [autres] coudées; mais ces eaux-là étaient déjà] un torrent, que je ne pouvais passer à gué; car ces eaux-là s'étaient enflées, c'étaient des eaux qu'il fallait passer à la nage, et un torrent que l'on ne pouvait passer à gué.
6 Then said he unto me Hast thou seen son of man? Then he took me along and caused me to return to the bank of the river.
Alors il me dit: fils d'homme, as-tu vu? puis il me fit aller plus outre, et me fit revenir vers le bord du torrent.
7 When I returned, then lo! by the bank of the river, trees very many, —on this side and on that side.
Quand j'y fus revenu, voilà un fort grand nombre d'arbres sur les deux bords du torrent.
8 And he said unto me, These waters, are going forth unto the region toward the east and shall go down unto the waste plain, and shall enter the sea, unto the sea being led forth, then shall the waters be healed;
Puis il me dit: ces eaux-ci se vont rendre dans la Galilée Orientale, et elles descendront à la campagne, puis elles entreront dans la mer, et quand elles se seront rendues dans la mer, les eaux en deviendront saines.
9 And it shall come to pass that every living soul that swarmeth whithersoever the rivers shall come, shall live, and the fish shall become a very great multitude; for these waters have come thither, that they may be healed so shall everything live whithersoever the river cometh.
Et il arrivera que tout animal vivant, qui se traînera partout où entrera chacun des deux torrents, vivra, et il y aura une fort grande quantité de poissons. Lors donc que ces eaux seront entrées là, [les autres en] seront rendues saines, et tout vivra là où ce torrent sera entré.
10 And it shall come to pass that there shall stand by it fishers, from En-gedi even unto En-eglaim, places for spreading out nets, shall they be, —after their kind, shall be their fish, like the fish of the great sea exceeding many.
Pareillement il arrivera que les pêcheurs se tiendront le long de cette mer, depuis Henguédi jusques à Henhéglajim; [tellement que tout ce circuit] sera plein de filets tous étendus pour prendre du poisson, et le poisson qu'on y pêchera sera en fort grand nombre, chacun selon son espèce, comme le poisson qu'on pêche dans la grande mer.
11 the swamps thereof and the pools thereof, shall not be healed to salt, have they been given up.
Ses marais et ses fosses ont été assignées pour y faire le sel, à cause qu'elles ne seront point rendues saines.
12 And, by the river, shall grow up on the bank thereof on this side and on that side every tree for food the leaf whereof, shall not fade, neither shall fail the fruit thereof, by its months, shall it break forth, for, as for the waters thereof, out of the sanctuary, are they coming forth, —and the fruit thereof shall be, for food, and, the leaf thereof, for healing.
Et auprès de ce torrent, [et] sur ses deux bords il croîtra des arbres fruitiers de toutes sortes, dont le feuillage ne flétrira point, et où l'on trouvera toujours du fruit; dans tous leurs mois ils produiront des fruits hâtifs, parce que les eaux de ce torrent sortent du Sanctuaire, et à cause de cela leur fruit sera bon à manger, et leur feuillage servira de remède.
13 Thus saith My Lord Yahweh, This shall be the boundary whereby ye shall take your inheritances in the land, according to the twelve tribes of Israel, —Joseph shall have portions.
Ainsi a dit le Seigneur l'Eternel: [ce sont] ici les frontières du pays dont vous vous rendrez possesseurs en titre d'héritage, selon les douze Tribus d'Israël; Joseph [en aura deux] portions.
14 so shall ye inherit it each man like his brother, as to which I lifted my hand to give it to your fathers, —so shall this land fall to you as an inheritance.
Or vous l'hériterez l'un comme l'autre, le pays touchant lequel j'ai levé ma main de le donner à vos pères; et ce pays-là vous écherra en héritage.
15 This then shall be the boundary of the land, —on the north side, from the great sea by the way of Hethlon to the entering, in of Zedad;
C'est donc ici la frontière du pays, du côté du Septentrion, vers la grande mer, [savoir] ce qui est du chemin d'Héthlon, au quartier par où l'on vient à Tsédad.
16 Hamath Berothah, Sibraim, which is between the boundary of Damascus and the boundary of Hamath, —Hazer-hatticon, which is by the boundary of Hauran.
[Où sont] Hamath, [la contrée tirant] vers Béroth, [et] Sibrajim, qui est entre la frontière de Damas, et entre la frontière de Hamath, [et] les bourgs d'entre-deux, qui sont vers la frontière de Havran.
17 Thus shall there be a boundary, from the sea Hazar-enin the boundary of Damascus, even the north northward and the boundary of Hamath, —even the north, side.
La frontière donc [prise] de la mer sera Hatsar-henan; la frontière de Damas, et le Septentrion qui regarde [proprement] vers le Septentrion, savoir, la frontière de Hamath, et le canton du Septentrion.
18 And for the east side, from between Hauran and Damascus and from between Gilead and the land of Israel the Jordan, from the boundary by the sea eastward, shall ye measure—even the east side.
Mais vous mesurerez le côté de l'Orient depuis ce qui est entre Havran, Damas, Galaad, et le pays d'Israël qui est delà le Jourdain, et depuis la frontière qui est vers la mer Orientale; et [ainsi vous mesurerez] le canton qui regarde [proprement] vers l'Orient.
19 And for the south side southward, from Tamar as far as the waters of Meriboth-kadesh, towards the torrent bed unto the great sea, —even the south side southward.
Puis [vous mesurerez] le côté du Midi [qui regarde proprement] vers le vent d'Autan, depuis Tamar jusques aux eaux des débats de Kadès, le long du torrent jusques à la grande mer; [ainsi vous mesurerez] le canton qui regarde [proprement] vers le vent d'Autan, tirant vers le Midi.
20 And for the west side, the great sea, from the boundary as far as over against the entering in of Hamath— this is the west side.
Or le côté de l'Occident sera la grande mer, depuis la frontière du [Midi] jusques à l'endroit de l'entrée de Hamath, ce sera là le côté de l'Occident.
21 So then ye shall apportion this land to you by the tribes of Israel. —
Après cela vous vous partagerez ce pays-là selon les Tribus d'Israël.
22 And it shall come to pass that ye shall divide it by lot as an inheritance, to yourselves and to the sojourners who are sojourning in your midst, who have begotten children in your midst, —so shall they be to you as a native among the sons of Israel with you, shall they cast lots for an inheritance, in the midst of the tribes of Israel.
A condition toutefois que vous ferez que ce pays-là écherra en héritage à vous et aux étrangers qui habitent parmi vous, lesquels auront engendré des enfants parmi vous, et ils vous seront comme celui qui est né au pays entre les enfants d'Israël, tellement qu'ils viendront avec vous en partage de l'héritage parmi les Tribus d'Israël.
23 And it shall be that with whatsoever tribe the sojourner hath become a sojourner, there shall ye give his inheritance, Declareth My Lord Yahweh.
Et il arrivera que vous assignerez à l'étranger son héritage dans la Tribu en laquelle il demeurera, dit le Seigneur l'Eternel.
