Ezekiel 42
1 Then he took me forth unto the outer court, the way toward the north, —and brought me unto the chamber which was over against the secluded place and which was over against the enclosing-wall, towards the north.
Allora mi fece uscire nell'atrio esterno dal lato settentrionale e mi condusse all'appartamento che sta di fronte allo spazio libero prospicente l'edificio verso settentrione.
2 Facing the length of the hundred cubits, was the entrance of the north, —and the breadth was fifty cubits:
Nella facciata aveva una lunghezza di cento cubiti, verso settentrione, e cinquanta cubiti di larghezza.
3 over against the twenty which pertained to the inner court, and over against the pavement which pertained to the outer court, was gallery facing gallery, by the thirties;
Di fronte ai venti cubiti dell'atrio interno e di fronte al lastricato esterno, vi era un porticato davanti a un altro porticato a tre piani;
4 and before the chambers, was a walk ten cubits in breadth inward, a way of one cubit, —and their entrances were to the north.
davanti alle stanze c'era un corridoio di dieci cubiti di larghezza per cento di lunghezza: le porte delle stanze guardavano a settentrione.
5 Now, the highest chambers, were shortened, —because the galleries took away therefrom more than from the lowest or from the middle in structure.
Le stanze superiori erano più strette delle inferiori e intermedie, perché i porticati occupavano parte dello spazio.
6 For three stories, they were; and had not pillars like the pillars of the courts; for this cause, it differed from the lowest and from the middle, from the ground.
Erano a tre piani, ma non avevano colonne come quelle degli altri, e perciò le stanze superiori erano più strette rispetto a quelle intermedie e a quelle inferiori.
7 And as for the wall that was without. answering to the chambers, toward the outer court facing the chambers, the length thereof was fifty cubits.
Il muro esterno parallelo alle stanze, dal lato del corridoio esterno, aveva, davanti alle stanze, una lunghezza di cinquanta cubiti.
8 For the length of the chambers which pertained to the outer court was fifty cubits, —and lo! in front of the temple a hundred cubits,
Infatti la lunghezza delle stanze dell'atrio esterno era di cinquanta cubiti, mentre dal lato del tempio era di cento cubiti.
9 And from under these chambers, was the entry from the east when one goeth in by them from the outer court.
In basso le stanze avevano l'ingresso rivolto verso oriente, entrando dall'atrio esterno, sulla larghezza del muro dell'atrio.
10 In the thickness of the wall of the court toward the east facing the secluded place and facing the enclosing wall, were chambers.
A mezzogiorno, di fronte allo spazio libero e alla muraglia di cinta, c'erano stanze
11 And the way before them was like the appearance of the chambers which were toward the north, as was their length, so, was their breadth, —and all their exits were both according to their regulations, and according to their entrances.
e, davanti ad esse, un passaggio simile a quello delle stanze poste a settentrione: la lunghezza e la larghezza erano uguali a quelle, come anche le varie uscite e le loro disposizioni; come le porte di quelle,
12 And according to the entrances of the chambers which were toward the south, was the entrance at the head of the way—the way in the face of the covered wall, the way toward the east in entering them.
così erano le porte delle stanze che davano a mezzogiorno; una porta era al principio dell'ambulacro, lungo il muro corrispondente, a oriente di chi entra.
13 Then said he unto me, The chambers of the north the chambers of the south which face the secluded place, they are the holy chambers where the priests who draw near to Yahweh shall eat the most holy things; there, shall they lay the most holy things, and the meal offering and the sin-bearer and the guilt bearer, for the place is holy!
Egli mi disse: «Le stanze a settentrione e quelle a mezzogiorno, di fronte allo spazio libero, sono le stanze sacre, dove i sacerdoti che si accostano al Signore mangeranno le cose santissime: ivi riporranno le cose santissime, le oblazioni e le vittime di espiazione e di riparazione, perché santo è questo luogo.
14 When the priests enter them, then shall they not go forth out of the holy place into the outer court, but there, shall they lay their garments wherein they minister for holy they are, and shall put on other garments, and so draw near unto that which pertaineth to the people.
Quando i sacerdoti vi saranno entrati, non usciranno dal luogo santo verso l'atrio esterno, ma deporranno là le loro vesti con le quali hanno prestato servizio, perché esse sono sante: indosseranno altre vesti e così si avvicineranno al luogo destinato al popolo».
15 And when he had ended the measurings of the inner house, then he brought me forth by way of the gate which looked toward the east, — and measured it round about on every side.
Terminato ch'egli ebbe di misurare l'interno del tempio mi condusse fuori per la porta che guarda a oriente, e misurò la cinta intorno.
16 He measured the east side with the measuring reed, —five hundred reeds by the measuring reed round about,
Misurò il lato orientale con la canna per misurare: era cinquecento canne, in canne da misura, all'intorno.
17 He measured the north side, five hundred reeds, by the measuring reed round about.
Misurò il lato settentrionale: era cinquecento canne, in canne da misura, all'intorno.
18 The south side, measured he, —five hundred reeds, by the measuring reed.
Misurò il lato meridionale: era cinquecento canne, con la canna da misura.
19 He turned about to the west side, —he measured five hundred reeds, by the measuring reed.
Si volse al lato occidentale: misurò cinquecento canne con la canna da misura.
20 Toward the four winds, measured he it a wall, had it round about on every side, in length, five hundred, and in breadth five hundred, —to make a separation, between the holy and the common.
Da quattro lati egli misurò il tempio; aveva intorno un muro lungo cinquecento canne e largo cinquecento, per separare il luogo sacro da quello profano.
