Ezekiel 40
1 In the twenty-fifth year of our exile at the beginning of the year. on the tenth of the month in the fourteenth year, after the city was smitten, on this selfsame day, came upon me the hand of Yahweh, and he brought me thither:
Im fünfundzwanzigsten Jahr unserer Wegführung, im Anfang des Jahres, am zehnten Tag des Monats, im vierzehnten Jahr, nachdem die Stadt geschlagen war, an ebendemselben Tag, war über mir die Hand Jehovahs und brachte mich dahin.
2 In the visions of God, he brought me into the land of Israel, —and set me down upon an exceeding high mountain, and thereupon, was, as it were the structure of a city, on the south.
In Gesichten Gottes brachte Er mich hinein zum Land Israels und ließ mich nieder auf einen sehr hohen Berg, und auf ihm war wie das Gebäu einer Stadt vom Mittag her.
3 And when he brought me thither, then lo! a man whose appearance was like the appearance of bronze, with a flax-cord in his hand and measuring reed, —and he was standing in the gate.
Und Er brachte mich dahin, und siehe, da war ein Mann, sein Ansehen wie das Ansehen von Erz, und eine leinene Schnur war in seiner Hand und ein Rohr zum Messen; und er stand in dem Tor.
4 And the man spake unto me, saying. Son of man See with thine eyes And with thine ears, hear thou And apply thy heart to whatsoever I am about to show thee, For to the intent it might be shown thee, hast thou been brought hither, - Declare all that thou seest unto the house of Israel.
Und der Mann redete zu mir: Menschensohn, siehe mit deinen Augen und mit deinen Ohren höre, und richte dein Herz auf alles, was ich dich sehen lasse; denn damit ich dir es zeige, bist du hierher gebracht. Alles, was du siehst, sage an dem Hause Israel.
5 And lo a wall on the outside of the house round about on every side, —and in the hand of the man, was the measuring reed six cubits by the cubit, and a handbreadth, so he measured the breadth of the enclosing-wall, one reed, and the height one reed.
Und siehe, eine Mauer war von außen am Hause, ringsum, ringsum. Und der Mann hatte in der Hand ein Rohr zum Messen von sechs Ellen, nach der Elle und eine Handbreite; und er maß die Breite des Gebäus eine Rute und die Höhe eine Rute.
6 Then came he unto the gate that looked toward the east, and went up by the steps thereof, —and measured the threshold of the gate one reed broad, and the other threshold one reed broad.
Und er ging hinein zum Tor, das am Wege gegen Osten war, und stieg dessen Stufen hinauf und maß die Schwelle des Tores zu einer Rute in die Breite und die andere Schwelle eine Rute breit.
7 And the lodge was one reed long, and one reed broad, and between the lodges, was a space of five cubits, —and the threshold of the gate from beside the porch of the gate inwards, was one reed.
Und die Wachtzelle eine Rute nach der Länge, eine Rute in der Breite. Und zwischen den Wachtzellen waren es fünf Ellen, und die Schwelle des Tores neben der Vorhalle des Tores von innen her eine Rute.
8 Then measured he the porch of the gate inwards, one reed.
Und er maß die Vorhalle des Tores von innen zu einer Rute.
9 Then measured he the porch of the gate, eight cubits, and the projections thereof two cubits, —and the porch of the gate was within,
Und er maß die Vorhalle des Tores acht Ellen, und die Vorsprünge davon zwei Ellen; und die Vorhalle des Tores innerhalb.
10 And, the lodges of the gate that was towards the east, were three on this side and three on that side, one measure, had they three, —and one measure, had the projections on this side and on that side.
Und der Wachtzellen des Tores am Wege gegen Osten waren drei hüben und drei drüben, ein Maß für deren drei, und ein Maß für die Vorsprünge hüben und drüben.
11 Then measured he the breadth of the entrance of the gate, ten cubits—the length of the gate, thirteen cubits,
Und er maß die Breite des Eingangs des Tores zehn Ellen, die Länge des Tores dreizehn Ellen.
12 And the space before the lodges was one cubit, and one cubit, the space on that side; and the lodge itself was six cubits on this side, and six cubits on that side.
Und die Grenzwehr vor den Wachtzellen war eine Elle, und eine Elle Grenzwehr dort. Aber die Wachtzellen waren von sechs Ellen hier und von sechs Ellen dort.
13 Then measured he the gate, from the roof of this lodge to the roof of that, a breadth of twenty-five cubits, —entrance over against entrance.
Und er maß das Tor vom Dach der Wachtzelle bis zu seinem Dach, fünfundzwanzig Ellen in die Breite, Eingang gegen Eingang.
14 Then measured he the porch, twenty cubits, —even unto the projection of the court, the lodges of the gate round about on every side;
Und er machte die Erker sechzig Ellen, und vor dem Erker war der Vorhof am Tore ringsum und ringsum.
15 and, from the face of the gate outwards, unto the face of the porch of the inner gate, was fifty cubits.
Und vor dem Tore des Eintritts bis vor die Vorhalle am inneren Tor waren es fünfzig Ellen.
16 And latticed windows had the lodges, even towards their projections within the gate round about on every side, and, so, had the recesses, —and windows round about on every side inwards, and against each projection, palm trees.
Und geschlitzte Fenster waren an den Wachtzellen, und an ihren Vorsprüngen einwärts dem Tore zu, ringsum und ringsum, und so an den Vorhallen, und Fenster waren ringsum und ringsum einwärts. Und an den Vorsprüngen waren Palmen.
17 Then he brought me into the outer court, and lo! chambers and a tesselated pavement, made to the court round about on every side, —thirty chambers against the pavement,
Und er brachte mich zu dem äußeren Vorhof, und siehe, da waren Zellen und ein Pflaster gemacht am Vorhof ringsum, ringsum, dreißig Zellen waren auf dem Pflaster.
18 And the pavement, was against the side of the gates, answering to the length of the gates, —the lower pavement,
Und das Pflaster war zur Seite der Tore, der Länge der Tore entlang, - das niedere Pflaster.
19 Then measured he the breadth, from the front of the lower gate, to the front of the inner court on the outside one hundred cubits, —to the east and the north.
Und er maß die Breite vor dem unteren Tor, vor dem inneren Vorhof, außerhalb, hundert Ellen, gegen Osten und gegen Mitternacht;
20 And as for the gate which looked towards the north, pertaining to the outer court, he measured the length thereof, and the breadth thereof.
Und das Tor, dessen Vorderseite am Wege nach Mitternacht des äußeren Vorhofs ist, maß er nach seiner Länge und nach seiner Breite.
21 And the lodges thereof were three on this side and three on that side, and the projections thereof and the recesses thereof were according to the measure of the first gate, fifty cubits the length thereof, and, the breadth, twenty-five, by the cubit.
Und seiner Wachtzellen waren drei hier und drei dort, und seine Vorsprünge und seine Vorhallen waren nach dem Maß des ersten Tores fünfzig Ellen in die Länge und fünfundzwanzig Ellen in die Breite.
22 And the windows thereof and the recesses thereof and the palm-trees thereof were according to the measure of the gate that looked toward the east, —and by seven steps, they ascend it, and their recesses were within,
Und seine Fenster und seine Vorhallen und seine Palmen waren nach dem Maß des Tores, dessen Angesicht auf dem Wege nach Morgen ist, und auf sieben Stufen stieg man dazu hinauf, und seine Vorhalle war vor denselben.
23 And the gate to the inner court, was over against the gate, to the north and to the east, —so he measured from gate to gate. one hundred cubits.
Und das Tor zum inneren Vorhof war gegenüber dem Tore nach Mitternacht und nach Osten, und er maß hundert Ellen von Tor zu Tor.
24 Then he took me toward the south, and lo! a gate, toward the south, —and he measured the projections thereof and the recesses thereof, according to these measures.
Und er ließ mich den Weg gen Mittag gehen, und siehe, ein Tor am Weg nach Mittag, und er maß seine Pfeiler und seine Vorhallen nach denselben Maßen.
25 And windows were there to it, and the recesses thereof round about on all sides, like these windows, —fifty cubits in length, and in breadth, five-and-twenty cubits.
Und Fenster hatte es, und seine Vorhallen ringsum und ringsum, wie die selbigen Fenster fünfzig Ellen die Länge und die Breite fünfundzwanzig Ellen.
26 And seven steps the ascents thereof, with its recesses within, —and it had palm trees one on this side and one on that side against the projections thereof.
Und sieben Stufen hatten seine Treppen und seine Vorhalle davor, und hatte Palmen, eine hüben und eine drüben an seinen Pfeilern.
27 And a gate, had the inner court towards the south, —so he measured from gate to gate toward the south, a hundred cubits.
Und ein Tor zum inneren Vorhof war am Wege nach Mittag, und er maß von Tor zu Tor am Wege nach Mittag hundert Ellen.
28 Yea when he brought me to the inner court through the south gate, then measured he the south gate, according to these measures;
Und er brachte mich hinein in den inneren Vorhof durch das Tor nach Mittag, und maß das Tor nach Mittag, nach denselben Maßen.
29 and the lodges thereof and the projections thereof and the recesses, thereof, were according to these measures, and windows, were there to it, and to the recesses thereof round about on every side, —fifty cubits in length, and in breadth, twenty and five cubits;
Und seine Wachtzellen und seine Pfeiler und seine Vorhallen waren nach diesen Maßen, und waren Fenster daran und an seinen Vorhallen ringsum und ringsum: fünfzig Ellen in die Länge und fünfundzwanzig in die Breite.
30 and there were recesses round about on every side; —in length, five and twenty cubits, and in breadth, five cubits;
Und ringsum und ringsum waren Vorhallen, fünfundzwanzig Ellen in der Länge und fünf Ellen in der Breite.
31 and the recesses thereof reached unto the outer court, with palm-trees, against the projections thereof, and eight steps were the ascents thereof.
Und seine Vorhallen waren dem äußeren Vorhof zu, und Palmen waren an seinen Pfeilern, und acht Stufen stieg man zu ihm hinauf.
32 And when he brought me unto the inner court toward the east, then measured he the gate, according to these measures;
Und er brachte mich hinein nach dem inneren Vorhof am Wege nach Osten, und maß das Tor nach denselben Maßen.
33 and the lodges thereof and the projections thereof and the recesses thereof, according to these measures, and windows were there to it and to the recesses thereof, round about on every side, —in length fifty cubits, and in breadth, five and twenty cubits;
Und seine Wachtzellen und seine Pfeiler und seine Vorhallen waren nach denselben Maßen, und Fenster hatte es und seine Vorhallen ringsum, ringsum, in die Länge fünfzig Ellen, fünfundzwanzig Ellen in die Breite.
34 and the recesses thereof reached to the outer court, with palm-trees, against the projections thereof, on this side and on that side, —and eight steps, were the ascents thereof.
Und seine Vorhalle war nach dem äußeren Vorhof, und Palmen waren an seinen Pfeilern hüben und drüben, und acht Stufen stieg man zu ihm hinauf.
35 And when he brought me to the north gate, then measured he according to these measures:
Und er brachte mich hinein zum Tor nach Mitternacht, und maß nach denselben Maßen,
36 the lodges thereof the projections thereof and the recesses thereof, with, windows, to it round about on every side, —in length, fifty cubits, and, in breadth, five and twenty cubits;
Seine Wachtzellen, seine Pfeiler und seine Vorhallen, und seine Fenster waren ringsum, ringsum, fünfzig Ellen in die Länge und fünfundzwanzig Ellen in die Breite.
37 and, the recesses thereof, [reached] unto the outer court, with, palm-trees, against the projections thereof on this side and on that side, —and, eight steps, were the ascents thereof.
Und seine Pfeiler waren dem äußeren Vorhof zu, und Palmen waren an seinen Pfeilern hier und dort, und acht Stufen stieg man zu ihm hinauf.
38 And there was a chamber with its entrance, within the projections at the gates, — there, shall they rinse the ascending-sacrifice,
Und da war eine Zelle, und ihr Eingang war an den Pfeilern der Tore. Da wuschen sie das Brandopfer ab.
39 And in the porch of the gate, were two tables on this side, and two tables, on that side, —to slay thereon the ascending-sacrifice, and the sin-bearer, and the guilt-bearer.
Und in der Vorhalle des Tores waren zwei Tische hüben und zwei Tische drüben, das Brandopfer und das Sündopfer und das Schuldopfer darauf zu schlachten.
40 And at the side without, in ascending to the entrance of the north gate, were two tables, —and at the other side which pertaineth to the porch of the gate, were two tables.
Und auf der Seite nach außen, da man zum Eingang des Tores nach Mitternacht aufsteigt, waren zwei Tische, und auf der anderen Seite der Vorhalle des Tores waren zwei Tische.
41 Four tables on this side and four tables on that side by the side of the gate, -eight tables whereupon they shall slay.
Vier Tische hüben und vier Tische drüben zur Seite des Tores: acht Tische, auf denen sie schlachteten.
42 And the four tables for the ascending-offering: were of hewn stone. in length, one cubit and a half, and in breadth, one cubit and a half, and in height, one cubit, —that thereon, they may lay the instruments wherewith they shall slay the ascending-offering and the sacrifice.
Und die vier Tische für das Brandopfer waren von behauenen Steinen, anderthalb Ellen die Länge und anderthalb Ellen die Breite, und eine Elle die Höhe, auf dieselben legten sie die Geräte nieder, mit denen sie das Brandopfer und das Schlachtopfer schlachteten.
43 And there were hooks of three hand-breadth fastened within round about on every side, —and upon the tables, the flesh of the offering.
Und Herdsteine von einer Handbreite waren einwärts zugerichtet ringsum, ringsum, und auf den Tischen das Fleisch der Opfergabe.
44 And on the outside of the inner gate, were the chambers of the singers in the inner court which was at the side of the north gate, and their front was toward the south, —one, at the side of the south gate, fronting, toward the north.
Und außerhalb des inneren Tores waren Zellen der Sänger in dem inneren Hofe zur Seite des Tores gen Mitternacht, und ihre Vorderseiten waren des Weges gen Mittag; eine war an der Seite des Tores gen Osten, mit der Vorderseite des Weges gen Mitternacht.
45 Then spake he unto me saying, This chamber whose front is toward the south, is for the priests keeping the charge of the house;
Und er redete zu mir: Diese Zelle, deren Vorderseite des Weges gen Mittag ist, ist für die Priester, die der Hut des Hauses hüten.
46 and the chamber whose front is towards the north is for the priests keeping the charge of the altar, -the same are the sons of Zadok—who draw near from among the sons of Levi unto Yahweh. to wait upon him.
Die Zelle aber, deren Vorderseite des Weges gen Mitternacht ist, ist für die Priester, welche die Hut des Altares hüten. Dies sind die Söhne Zadoks, die von den Söhnen Levis dem Jehovah nahen, Ihm Dienst zu tun.
47 Then measured he the court, the length, a hundred cubits, and the breadth, a hundred cubits foursquare, —with the altar before the house.
Und er maß den Hof, zu einer Länge von hundert Ellen, und hundert Ellen Breite in das Gevierte. Und der Altar war vor dem Haus.
48 And when he brought me unto the porch of the house, then measured he the projection of the porch, five cubits on this side, and five cubits on that side, —and the breadth of the gate, was three cubits on this side, and three cubits on that side:
Und er brachte mich hinein zur Vorhalle des Hauses, und maß den Pfeiler der Vorhalle zu fünf Ellen hüben und fünf Ellen drüben, und die Breite des Tores war drei Ellen hüben und drei Ellen drüben.
49 the length of the porch was twenty cubits and the breadth twelve cubits, and by ten steps they ascend into it, - and there were pillars against the projections, one on this side, and one on that side.
Die Länge der Halle zwanzig Ellen, und die Breite elf Ellen, und samt den Stufen, auf denen sie hinangingen zu derselben, und Säulen waren bei den Pfeilern, eine hüben und eine drüben.
