Ezekiel 4
1 Thou therefore O son of man Take thee a tile, and lay it before thee, —and portray thereon a city, even Jerusalem.
“Nísinsin yìí, ìwọ ọmọ ènìyàn, mú amọ̀ ṣíṣù kan, gbé e sí iwájú rẹ, kí o sì ya àwòrán ìlú Jerusalẹmu sí orí rẹ̀.
2 Then shalt thou lay siege against it And build up against it a siege-wall And cast up against it, a mound, — And set against it camps, And place against it battering-rams, round about.
Kí o sì dó tì í, kí o sì mọ ilé ìṣọ́ tì í, kí o sì mọ odi tì í, kí o sì gbé ogun sí i, kí o sì to òòlù yí i ká.
3 Thou, therefore take thee a pan of iron, and set it for a wall of iron, between thee and the city, —then shalt thou direct thy face against it and it shall come into siege and thou shalt lay siege to it, a sign, shall it be to the house of Israel.
Kí o sì fi àwo irin kan ṣe ògiri láàrín rẹ̀ àti ìlú yìí, kí o sì kọjú sí i, a ó sì dó tì í, ìwọ yóò sì dó tì í. Èyí yóò jẹ́ àmì fún ilé Israẹli.
4 Thou, therefore lie thou on thy left side, and lay the iniquity of the house of Israel upon it, — during the number of the days which thou shalt lie thereon, shalt thou bear their punishment.
“Lẹ́yìn èyí, lọ fi ẹ̀gbẹ́ òsì dùbúlẹ̀, kí o sì gbé ẹ̀ṣẹ̀ ilé Israẹli lé orí ara rẹ. Iye ọjọ́ tí ìwọ bá fi sùn náà ni ìwọ yóò fi ru ẹ̀ṣẹ̀ wọn.
5 I therefore have appointed thee the years of their punishment, by the number of days a hundred and ninety days, —so shalt thou bear the iniquity of the house of Israel.
Nítorí mo fi iye ọdún tí wọ́n fi ṣẹ̀ fún ọ gẹ́gẹ́ bí iye ọjọ́ tí ìwọ yóò lò. Nítorí náà, ìwọ yóò ru ẹ̀ṣẹ̀ ilé Israẹli fún irinwó ọjọ́ ó dín mẹ́wàá.
6 And when thou hast ended these, then shalt thou lie, on thy right side. a second time, and shalt bear the iniquity of the house of Judah, — forty days, one day for each year, have I appointed thee.
“Tí o bá parí èyí, tún fi ẹ̀gbẹ́ ọ̀tún dùbúlẹ̀ kí o sì ru ẹ̀ṣẹ̀ ilé Juda fún ogójì ọjọ́, nítorí pé ọjọ́ kan ló dúró fún ọdún kan.
7 Thus then unto the siege of Jerusalem, shalt thou direct thy face, with thine arm made bare, —so shalt thou prophesy against it.
Ìwọ dojúkọ ìgbógunti Jerusalẹmu, na ọwọ́ rẹ sí i, kí o sì sọ àsọtẹ́lẹ̀ nípa ìlú náà.
8 And lo! I have laid upon thee-bands, —and thou shalt not turn thee from thy one side to thine other, until thou have ended the days of thy siege.
Èmi yóò dè ọ́ ní okùn dé bi pé ìwọ kò ní í le yírapadà láti ìhà ọ̀tún sí ìhà òsì títí tí ọjọ́ ìgbóguntì rẹ yóò fi pé.
9 Thou, therefore, take thee wheat and barley and peas and lentils and millet and spelt, and put them in one vessel, and make them ready for thee as bread, —during the number of days which thou art lying on thy side. a hundred and ninety days, shalt thou eat it;
“Mú alikama, ọkà bàbà àti barle, erèé àti lẹntili, jéró àti ẹwẹ; fi àwọn nǹkan wọ̀nyí ṣe àkàrà tí ìwọ yóò máa jẹ nígbà tí ìwọ bá dùbúlẹ̀ fún irinwó ọjọ́ ó dín mẹ́wàá.
10 and thy food which thou shalt eat shall be by weight twenty shekels a day, — from time to time, shalt thou eat it;
Wọn òsùwọ̀n ogún ṣékélì oúnjẹ tí ìwọ yóò máa jẹ lójoojúmọ́ kí o sì máa jẹ ẹ́ ní àkókò tí a ti yà sọ́tọ̀.
11 and water by measure, shalt thou drink the sixth part of a hin, -from time to time shalt thou drink;
Bákan náà, wọn ìdámẹ́fà omi, kí ìwọ ó sì máa mú ní àkókò tí a yà sọ́tọ̀.
12 and as a barley cake, shalt thou eat it, —and the same with dung proceeding from man, shalt thou bake, before their eyes.
Ìwọ yóò sì jẹ ẹ́ bí àkàrà barle; dín in ní ojú àwọn ènìyàn, ìgbẹ́ ènìyàn ni kí o fi dáná rẹ.”
13 Then said Yahweh, In like manner, shall the sons of Israel eat their bread defiled, —among the nations whither I will drive them.
Olúwa sọ pé, “Báyìí ni àwọn ọmọ Israẹli yóò jẹ oúnjẹ àìmọ́ láàrín àwọn orílẹ̀-èdè tí èmi yóò lé wọn lọ.”
14 Then said, I, Ah! My Lord. Yahweh, lo! my person, hath not been defiled: neither of what hath died of itself nor of what hath been torn in pieces: have I eaten, from my youthful days even unto now, neither hath come into my mouth the flesh of a foul thing.
Nígbà náà ni mo wí pé, “Háà! Kò rí bẹ́ẹ̀ Olúwa Olódùmarè! Láti ìgbà èwe mi di ìsinsin yìí èmi kò tí ì sọ ara mi di aláìmọ́ rí. Èmi kò tí ì jẹ ohun tó kú fúnra rẹ̀ tàbí èyí tí ẹranko búburú fàya pẹ́rẹpẹ̀rẹ. Bẹ́ẹ̀ ni ẹran àìmọ́ kan kò tí ì wọ ẹnu mi rí.”
15 So then he said unto me, See I have granted thee cow’s dung for man’s dung, —and thou shalt prepare thy bread thereupon.
Nígbà náà ló wí fún mi pé, “Wò ó, Èmi ó fún ọ ní ìgbẹ́ màlúù dípò ìgbẹ́ ènìyàn. Èmi yóò mú ki ó dín àkàrà rẹ lórí ìgbẹ́ màlúù dípò ìgbẹ́ ènìyàn.”
16 And he said unto me, Son of man Behold me! breaking the staff of bread in Jerusalem, So shall they eat bread by weight and with anxious care, And water by measure, and in astonishment, shall they drink:
Ó sì tún sọ fún mi pé, “Ọmọ ènìyàn, èmi yóò dáwọ́ ìpèsè oúnjẹ dúró ní Jerusalẹmu. Ní pípín ni àwọn ènìyàn yóò máa pín oúnjẹ jẹ pẹ̀lú ìfọkànsọ́nà bẹ́ẹ̀ gẹ́gẹ́ ni wọn yóò máa mu omi pẹ̀lú ìdààmú,
17 that they may lack bread and water and be astonished one with another, and pine away in their punishment.
nítorí pé oúnjẹ àti omi yóò wọ́n. Wọn yóò máa wo ara wọn pẹ̀lú ìyanu, èmi yóò sì jẹ́ kí wọ́n ṣọ̀fọ̀ nítorí ẹ̀ṣẹ̀ wọn.
