< Ezekiel 38 >
1 And the word of Yahweh came unto me, saying:
Ọrọ̀ Olúwa tọ̀ mí wá:
2 Son of man Set thy face against Gog of the land of the Magog, Prince of Rosh Meshech and Tubal, - And prophesy concerning him,
“Ọmọ ènìyàn, kọ ojú rẹ sí Gogu, ti ilẹ̀ Magogu; olórí ọmọ-aládé, Meṣeki, àti Tubali sọtẹ́lẹ̀ ní ìlòdì sí i
3 and thou shalt say, Thus, saith My Lord Yahweh, — Behold me! against thee O Gog, Prince of Rosh, Meshech and Tubal;
kí ó sì wí pé, ‘Èyí yìí ni ohun tí Olúwa Olódùmarè wí: Èmi lòdì sí ọ, ìwọ Gogu, olórí ọmọ-aládé, Meṣeki àti Tubali.
4 Therefore I will turn thee about, and will put hooks in thy jaws, —and bring thee forth and all thine army. Horses and horsemen Clothed with gorgeous attire, all of them, A mighty gathered host With shield and buckler handling swords, all of them:
Èmi yóò yí ọ kiri, èmi yóò sì fi ìwọ̀ kọ́ ọ ní ẹnu, èmi yóò sì fà ọ́ jáde pẹ̀lú gbogbo ọmọ-ogun rẹ, àwọn ẹṣin àti àwọn agẹṣinjagun nínú ìhámọ́ra, àti ìpéjọ ńlá pẹ̀lú asà ogun ńlá àti kéékèèké, gbogbo wọn ń fi idà wọn.
5 Persia Ethiopia and Libya with them, All of them, with shield and helmet;
Persia, Kuṣi àti Puti yóò wà pẹ̀lú wọn, gbogbo wọn yóò wà pẹ̀lú asà àti ìṣíborí wọn
6 Gomer and all her hordes, The house of Togarmah the remote men of the North and all his hordes, Many peoples with thee.
Gomeri náà pẹ̀lú gbogbo àwọn ọmọ-ogun rẹ̀, àti Beti-Togarma láti jìnnàjìnnà àríwá pẹ̀lú gbogbo àwọn ọ̀wọ́ ogun rẹ̀—ọ̀pọ̀lọpọ̀ àwọn orílẹ̀-èdè pẹ̀lú rẹ̀.
7 Be ready, and show thyself ready, Thou and all thy gathered host who have gathered themselves unto thee, — And become thou for me a guard.
“‘Múra sílẹ̀, múra tán, kí ìwọ àti gbogbo ìjọ náà péjọpọ̀ pẹ̀lú rẹ, kí o sì pàṣẹ fún wọn.
8 After many days, shalt thou muster thy forces, In the afterpart of the years, shalt thou enter Into the land of the remnant brought back from the sword Gathered from among many peoples, Upon the mountains of Israel which have been waste continually, — But the same! from among the peoples, hath been brought forth, And they shall dwell in security, all of them.
Lẹ́yìn ọ̀pọ̀lọpọ̀ ọjọ́, àwa yóò bẹ̀ ọ wò; ní ọdún ìkẹyìn ìwọ yóò dó ti ilẹ̀ tí a ti gbà padà lọ́wọ́ idà, tí àwọn ènìyàn wọn kórajọ pọ̀ láti ọ̀pọ̀ orílẹ̀-èdè sí àwọn òkè gíga ti Israẹli, tí ó ti di ahoro fún ìgbà pípẹ́. A ti mú wọn jáde láti ọ̀dọ̀ àwọn orílẹ̀-èdè, nísinsin yìí gbogbo wọn ń gbé ní àìléwu.
9 Then shalt thou come up, Like a storm, shalt thou enter, Like a cloud covering the land, shalt thou be, — Thou and all thy hordes, and many peoples with thee.
Ìwọ àti ọ̀wọ́ ogun rẹ àti ọ̀pọ̀ orílẹ̀-èdè pẹ̀lú rẹ yóò gòkè, ẹ̀yin yóò tẹ̀síwájú bí ìjì; ìwọ yóò dàbí ìkùùkuu tí ó bo ilẹ̀ mọ́lẹ̀.
10 Thus saith My Lord, Yahweh, — So shall it be in that day, that thoughts will come up on thy heart.- And thou wilt devise a wicked device;
“‘Èyí ni Olúwa Olódùmarè wí: Ní ọjọ́ náà èrò kan yóò wá sọ́kàn rẹ, ìwọ yóò sì pète ìlànà búburú.
11 and wilt say— I will go up over a land of hamlets, I will enter among them who are at rest dwelling securely, — All of them, dwelling without a wall, Who bars and doors, have none;
Ìwọ yóò wí pé, “Èmi yóò gbé ogun ti ilẹ̀ àwọn tí a kò fi odi yíká, Èmi yóò gbé ogun ti àwọn ènìyàn àlàáfíà tí a kò funra sí gbogbo wọn ń gbé ní àìsí odi, ní àìsí ẹnu-ọ̀nà òde àti àsígbè-irin.
12 To capture spoil. And take prey, - To bring back thy hand over desolate places at length inhabited And against a people gathered from among the nations, Getting herds and substance Dwelling upon the navel of the earth.
Èmi yóò mú ohun ọdẹ, èmi yóò sì kó ìkógun, èmi yóò sì yí ọwọ́ mi padà sí ibi ìwólulẹ̀ ti a ti tún kọ́, àwọn ènìyàn tí a kójọpọ̀ láti ọ̀dọ̀ àwọn orílẹ̀-èdè, tí ó ní ọrọ̀ nínú ẹran ọ̀sìn àti ẹrú, tí ó ń gbé ní àárín gbùngbùn ilẹ̀ náà.”
13 Sheba and Dedan and the traders of Tarshish and all her young lions, will say to thee, To capture spoil, art thou coming? And to take prey, hast thou called together thy gathered host? To carry off silver and gold To take away herds and substance, To capture great spoil?
Ṣeba, Dedani àti àwọn oníṣòwò Tarṣiṣi àti gbogbo àwọn ọmọ kìnnìún wọn, yóò sọ fún un yín pé, “Ṣé ẹ̀yin wá fún ìkógun? Ṣé ẹ̀yin ti kó àwọn ogun yín jọ pọ̀ fún ìkógun, láti kó fàdákà àti wúrà lọ, láti kó ẹran ọ̀sìn àti ẹrú àti láti gba ọ̀pọ̀ ìkógun?”’”
14 Therefore prophesy, Son of man, and thou shalt say to Gog. Thus saith My Lord, Yahweh: Shall it not be in that day, because my people Israel are dwelling securely: , that thou wilt rouse thyself?
“Nítorí náà, ọmọ ènìyàn, sọtẹ́lẹ̀ kí ó sì sọ fún Gogu: ‘Èyí yìí ni Olúwa Olódùmarè wí: Ní ọjọ́ náà, nígbà tí àwọn ènìyàn mi Israẹli ń gbé ní àìléwu, ìwọ kì yóò ha ṣe àkíyèsí rẹ̀?
15 Therefore wilt thou come out of thy place. Out of the remote parts of the North, Thou and many peoples with thee, —Riding on horses all of them, A mighty gathered host. Yea a great army;
Ìwọ yóò wá láti ààyè rẹ ní jìnnàjìnnà àríwá, ìwọ àti ọ̀pọ̀lọpọ̀ orílẹ̀-èdè pẹ̀lú rẹ, gbogbo wọn yóò sì gun ẹṣin ẹgbẹ́ ńlá, jagunjagun alágbára.
16 Therefore wilt thou come up, against my people Israel, like a cloud covering the land, — In the afterpart of the days, shall it be. that I will suffer thee to enter upon my land, To the end the nations may know me, when I hallow myself in thee before their eyes O Gog!
Ìwọ yóò tẹ̀síwájú ní ìlòdì sí àwọn Israẹli ènìyàn mi gẹ́gẹ́ bí ìkùùkuu tí ó bo ilẹ̀. Ni àwọn ọjọ́ tí ń bọ̀, ìwọ Gogu, èmi yóò mú ọ wá ní ìlòdì sí ilẹ̀ mi, kí àwọn orílẹ̀-èdè lè mọ̀ mi nígbà tí mo bá fi ara hàn ni mímọ́ láti ọ̀dọ̀ rẹ ní ojú wọn.
17 Thus, saith My Lord, Yahweh, Art thou, he of whom I spake in days aforetime by the hand of my servants the prophets of Israel, who kept on prophesying in those days for years, —That thou shouldest be suffered to come against them?
“‘Èyí yìí ni Olúwa Olódùmarè wí: Ìwọ ha kọ́ ni mo sọ̀rọ̀ nípa rẹ̀ ní ìgbà ìṣáájú láti ẹnu àwọn wòlíì ìránṣẹ́ mi ti Israẹli? Ní ìgbà náà wọ́n sọtẹ́lẹ̀ fún ọ̀pọ̀lọpọ̀ ọdún pé èmi yóò mú ọ lòdì sí wọn.
18 So then shall it come to pass in that day, In the day when Gog entereth upon the soil of Israel, Declareth My Lord Yahweh, That mine indignation shall come up into my nostrils;
Èyí ni ohun tí yóò ṣẹlẹ̀ ní ọjọ́ náà, nígbà tí Gogu bá kọlu ilẹ̀ Israẹli, gbígbóná ìbínú mi yóò ru sókè, ni Olúwa Olódùmarè wí.
19 Yea, in my jealousy, in the fire of mine outburst, have I spoken, - Surely in that day, shall there be a great trembling upon the soil of Israel:
Ní ìtara mi àti ní gbígbóná ìbínú mi, mo tẹnumọ́ ọn pé; ní àsìkò náà ilẹ̀ mímì tí ó lágbára ní ilẹ̀ Israẹli yóò ṣẹlẹ̀.
20 Then shall tremble before me The fishes of the sea, and The bird of the heavens and The wild beast of the field, and Every creeping thing that creepeth on the ground, and All the men who are on the face of the ground, — and The mountains, shall be torn asunder, and The steep places, shall sink down, and, Every wall, to the earth, shall be thrown.
Ẹja inú Òkun, àwọn ẹyẹ òfúrufú, àwọn ẹranko igbó, àti gbogbo ẹ̀dá tí ó ń rìn lórí ilẹ̀ yóò wárìrì fún ìfarahàn mi. A yóò yí òkè gíga po, àwọn bèbè òkúta ni àwa yóò fọ́ sí wẹ́wẹ́, gbogbo ògiri ni yóò wó palẹ̀.
21 Then will I call against him, every terror, Declareth My Lord Yahweh, the sword of every man against his brother, shall be;
22 Then will I contend with him by pestilence and by blood, - And an overflowing downpour and hail-stones fire and brimstone, will I rain Upon him, and Upon his hordes, and Upon the many peoples who are with him.
Èmi yóò gbé ìdájọ́ mi jáde lórí rẹ̀ pẹ̀lú ìyọnu àti ìtàjẹ̀ sílẹ̀, Èmi yóò dá àgbàrá òjò, òkúta yìnyín àti imí-ọjọ́ tí ń jó lé e lórí àti lórí ọ̀wọ́ ogun àti lórí ọ̀pọ̀lọpọ̀ orílẹ̀-èdè pẹ̀lú rẹ̀.
23 So will I Magnify myself and Hallow myself, and Make myself known. Before the eyes of many nations, —And they shall know that I, am Yahweh.
Nítorí náà, Èmi yóò fi títóbi mi àti ìjẹ́-mímọ́ mi hàn, Èmi yóò sì fi ara mi hàn ní ojú ọ̀pọ̀lọpọ̀ orílẹ̀-èdè. Nígbà náà ni wọn yóò mọ̀ pé, Èmi ni Olúwa.’
