Ezekiel 36

1 Thou therefore. Son of man, Prophesy unto the mountains of Israel, —and thou shalt say, Ye mountains of Israel Hear ye the word of Yahweh.

Und du, Menschenkind, weissage den Bergen Israels und sprich: Höret des HERRN Wort, ihr Berge Israels!

2 Thus saith My Lord, Yahweh, Because the enemy hath said concerning you Aha! Even the high places of age-past times, for a possession have become ours

So spricht der HERR HERR: Darum daß der Feind über euch rühmet: Heh, die ewigen Höhen sind nun unser Erbe worden!

3 Therefore, prophesy, and thou shalt say, Thus saith My Lord Yahweh-Because even because they have desolated and panted for you on every side That ye should become a possession to the rest of the nations, And ye have come up into the talk of the tongue and the slander of the people

darum weissage und sprich: So spricht der HERR HERR: Weil man euch allenthalben verwüstet und vertilget, und seid den übrigen Heiden zuteil worden und seid den Leuten ins Maul kommen und ein böses Geschrei worden,

4 Therefore ye mountains of Israel, hear ye the word of My Lord Yahweh, — Thus saith My Lord, Yahweh, To the mountains and to the hills, to the channels and to the valleys, and to the desolate waste places and to the cities that are forsaken, which have become a prey and a derision, to the rest of the nations which are on every side:

darum höret, ihr Berge Israels, das Wort des HERRN HERRN! So spricht der HERR HERR beide, zu den Bergen und Hügeln, zu den Bächen und Tälern, zu den öden Wüsten und verlassenen Städten, welche den übrigen Heiden ringsumher zum Raub und Spott worden sind;

5 Therefore, Thus, saith My Lord, Yahweh, Surely in the fire of my jealousy, have I spoken against the rest of the nations and against Edom all of it, — Who have given my land to themselves for a possession, In the rejoicing of all the heart In contempt of soul, To make of its produce a prey.

ja, so spricht der HERR HERR: Ich hab' in meinem feurigen Eifer geredet wider die übrigen Heiden und wider das ganze Edom, welche mein Land eingenommen haben mit Freuden von ganzem Herzen und mit Hohnlachen, dasselbige zu verheeren und plündern.

6 Therefore prophesy, concerning the soil of Israel, —and say to the mountains and to the hills to the channels and to the valleys, Thus, saith My Lord Yahweh, Behold me! In my jealousy and in mine indignation, have I spoken, Because the insult of the nations, ye have borne;

Darum weissage von dem Lande Israel und sprich zu den Bergen und Hügeln, zu den Bächen und Tälern: So spricht der HERR HERR: Siehe, ich hab' in meinem Eifer und Grimm geredet, weil ihr (solche) Schmach von den Heiden tragen müsset.

7 Therefore Thus saith My Lord Yahweh, I myself have lifted my hand, - Surely the nations which are yours round about, they their own shame, shall bear:

Darum spricht der HERR HERR also: Ich hebe meine Hand auf, daß eure Nachbarn, die Heiden umher, ihre Schande wieder tragen sollen.

8 But ye O mountains of Israel Your boughs, shall ye shoot forth, And your fruit, shall ye bear For my people Israel, For they have drawn near to enter.

Aber ihr Berge Israels sollt wieder grünen und eure Frucht bringen meinem Volk Israel; und soll in kurzem geschehen.

9 For lo! I am towards you, Therefore will I turn towards you, And ye shall be tilled and sown;

Denn siehe, ich will mich wieder zu euch wenden und euch ansehen, daß ihr gebauet und besäet werdet,

10 And I will multiply, upon you—men, All the house of Israel All of it, Then shall the cities be inhabited, And the waste places, shall be built,

und will bei euch der Leute viel machen, das ganze Israel allzumal; und die Städte sollen wieder bewohnet und die Wüsten erbauet werden.

11 And I will multiply upon you—man and beast, And they shall multiply and be fruitful, — And I will cause you to be inhabited as in your former estates. And will do you more good than at your beginnings, So shall ye know that am Yahweh;

Ja, ich will bei euch der Leute und des Viehes viel machen, daß ihr euch mehren und wachsen sollet. Und ich will euch wieder einsetzen, da ihr vorhin wohnetet; und will euch mehr Gutes tun denn zuvor je; und sollet erfahren, daß ich der HERR sei.

12 And I will bring upon you—men even my people Israel That they may possess thee, So shalt thou be theirs, as an inheritance, -And thou shalt no more again make them childless.

Ich will euch Leute herzubringen, die mein Volk Israel sollen sein, die werden dich besitzen; und sollst ihr Erbteil sein und sollst nicht mehr ohne Erben sein.

13 Thus saith My Lord, Yahweh, Because they are saying to you. A devourer of men, thou art, And one that didst make childless thy nations, hast thou been

So spricht der HERR HERR: Weil man das von euch sagt: Du hast Leute gefressen und hast dein Volk ohne Erben gemacht,

14 Therefore, men, shalt thou not devour any more, - And thy nations, shalt thou make childless no more, Declareth My Lord Yahweh;

darum sollst du (nun) nicht mehr Leute fressen, noch dein Volk ohne Erben machen, spricht der HERR HERR.

15 And I will not suffer to be heard against thee any more, the insult of the nations, And the reproach of the peoples, shalt thou not bear any more, - And thy nations, shalt thou not cause to stumble any more, Declareth My Lord Yahweh.

Und ich will dich nicht mehr lassen hören die Schmach der Heiden; und sollst den Spott der Heiden nicht mehr tragen und sollst dein Volk nicht mehr ohne Erben machen, spricht der HERR HERR.

16 And the word of Yahweh came unto me saying:

Und des HERRN Wort geschah weiter zu mir:

17 Son of man The house of Israel were dwelling upon their own soil, But they defiled it by their way, and by their doings. Like the defilement of her that is removed, became their way before me.

Du Menschenkind, da das Haus Israel in ihrem Lande wohneten und dasselbige verunreinigten mit ihrem Wesen und Tun, daß ihr Wesen vor mir war wie die Unreinigkeit eines Weibes in ihrer Krankheit,

18 So I poured out mine indignation upon them, Because of the blood which they had shed upon the land, - Yea with their manufactured gods, had they defiled it.

da schüttete ich meinen Grimm über sie aus um des Bluts willen, das sie im Lande vergossen und dasselbe verunreiniget hatten durch ihre Götzen.

19 So I dispersed them among the nations, And they were scattered throughout the lands, — According to their way and according to their doings, I judged them.

Und ich zerstreuete sie unter die Heiden und zerstäubte sie in die Länder und richtete sie nach ihrem Wesen und Tun.

20 But when they entered among the nations where they did enter, then profaned they my holy Name, —in that it was said of them The people of Yahweh, these! Yet from his land, have they come forth!

Und hielten sich wie die Heiden, dahin sie kamen, und entheiligten meinen heiligen Namen, daß man von ihnen sagte: Ist das des HERRN Volk, das aus seinem Lande hat müssen ziehen?

21 So then I had tender regard for my holy Name, - Which the house of Israel had profaned, among the nations, where they had entered.

Aber ich verschonete um meines heiligen Namens willen, welchen das Haus Israel entheiligte unter den Heiden, dahin sie kamen.

22 Therefore say thou to the house of Israel Thus saith My Lord Yahweh, Not for your sakes, am I working. O house of Israel, But for my holy Name which ye have profaned, among the nations where ye have entered;

Darum sollst du zum Hause Israel sagen: So spricht der HERR HERR: Ich tue es nicht um euretwillen, ihr vom Hause Israel, sondern um meines heiligen Namens willen, welchen ihr entheiliget habt unter den Heiden, zu welchen ihr kommen seid.

23 Therefore will I hallow my great Name, that hath been profaned among the nations, which ye have profaned in their midst, -So shall the nations know that I am Yahweh Declareth My Lord, Yahweh, When I have hallowed myself in you, before their eyes.

Denn ich will meinen großen Namen, der durch euch vor den Heiden entheiliget ist, den ihr unter denselbigen entheiliget habt, heilig machen. Und die Heiden sollen erfahren, daß ich der HERR sei, spricht der HERR HERR, wenn ich mich vor ihnen an euch erzeige, daß ich heilig sei.

24 Therefore will I take you from among the nations, And gather you out of all the lands, - And will bring you upon your own soil;

Denn ich will euch aus den Heiden holen und euch aus allen Landen versammeln und wieder in euer Land führen.

25 And I will throw upon you clean water and ye shall be clean, — From all your uncleannesses and from all your manufactured gods, will I cleanse you;

Und will rein Wasser über euch sprengen, daß ihr rein werdet von aller eurer Unreinigkeit, und von allen euren Götzen will ich euch reinigen.

26 And I will give you a new heart, And a new spirit, will I put within you, -And I will take away the heart of stone out of your flesh, And will give you a heart of flesh;

Und ich will euch ein neu Herz und einen neuen Geist in euch geben; und will das steinerne Herz aus eurem Fleisch wegnehmen und euch ein fleischern Herz geben.

27 And my spirit, will I put within you, And will cause That in my statutes, ye shall walk, And my regulations, ye shall observe, and do;

Ich will meinen Geist in euch geben und will solche Leute aus euch machen, die in meinen Geboten wandeln und meine Rechte halten und danach tun.

28 And ye shall dwell in the land which I gave to your fathers, - And ye shall become my people, And I will become your God;

Und ihr sollet wohnen im Lande, das ich euren Vätern gegeben habe, und sollet mein Volk sein, und ich will euer Gott sein.

29 And I will save you out of all your uncleannesses, —And will call for the corn and will increase it, And will not lay upon you famine; And I will save you out of all your uncleannesses, —And will call for the corn and will increase it, And will not lay upon you famine;

Ich will euch von aller eurer Unreinigkeit losmachen und will dem Korn rufen und will es mehren und will euch keine Teurung kommen lassen.

30 And I will multiply The fruit of the tree, and The increase of the field, — To the end that ye may not receive any more the reproach of famine among the nations.

Ich will die Früchte auf den Bäumen und das Gewächs auf dem Felde mehren, daß euch die Heiden nicht mehr spotten mit der Teurung.

31 Then shall ye call to mind Your ways that were wicked, and Your doings that were not good, - And shall become loathsome in your own sight. For your iniquities and For your abominations.

Alsdann werdet ihr an euer böses Wesen gedenken und eures Tuns, das nicht gut war, und wird euch eure Sünde und Abgötterei gereuen.

32 Not for your sakes, am I working, Declareth My Lord Yahweh be it known to you, — Turn ye pale and then blush for your ways. O house of Israel.

Solches will ich tun, nicht um euretwillen, spricht der HERR HERR, daß ihr es wisset, sondern ihr werdet euch müssen schämen und schamrot werden, ihr vom Hause Israel, über eurem Wesen.

33 Thus saith My Lord, Yahweh, In the day when I cleanse you, from all your iniquities, Then will I cause the cities to be inhabited, And the waste places shall be built;

So spricht der HERR HERR: Zu der Zeit, wenn ich euch reinigen werde von allen euren Sünden, so will ich die Städte wieder besetzen, und die Wüsten sollen wieder gebauet werden.

34 And the land that was made desolate shall be tilled, — Whereas it was a desolation, before the eyes of every passer-by;

Das verwüstete Land soll wieder gepflüget werden, dafür, daß es verheeret war, daß es sehen sollen alle, die dadurch gehen,

35 And they shall say, This land that was made desolate hath become like the garden of Eden, - And the cities that were waste and deserted and thrown down, now fenced, are inhabited;

und sagen: Dies Land war verheeret, und jetzt ist's wie ein Lustgarten, und diese Städte waren zerstöret, öde und zerrissen und stehen nun fest gebauet.

36 So shall the nations that may be left remaining round about you know that, I Yahweh— Have built that which was thrown down, and Have planted that which was made desolate, — I Yahweh, have spoken and performed.

Und die übrigen Heiden um euch her sollen erfahren, daß ich der HERR bin, der da bauet, was zerrissen ist, und pflanzet, was verheeret war. Ich, der HERR, sage es und tue es auch.

37 Thus, saith My Lord Yahweh, Even yet—for this, will I be prevailed upon by the house of Israel to work for them, — I will multiply them-Like a flock—with men:

So spricht der HERR HERR: Ich will mich wieder fragen lassen vom Hause Israel, daß ich mich an ihnen erzeige; und ich will sie mehren wie eine Menschenherde.

38 Like a flock of holy offerings Like the flock of Jerusalem in her appointed feasts, So, shall the waste cities be filled with flocks of men, - And they shall know that, I, am Yahweh.

Wie eine heilige Herde, wie eine Herde zu Jerusalem auf ihren Festen; so sollen die verheerten Städte voll Menschenherden werden; und sollen erfahren, daß ich der HERR bin.
