Ezekiel 32

1 And it came to pass, in the twelfth year, in the twelfth month on the first of the month, that the word of Yahweh came unto me, saying:

Und es begab sich im zwölften Jahr, am ersten Tage des zwölften Monden, geschah des HERRN Wort zu mir und sprach:

2 Son of man Take up a dirge over Pharaoh king of Egypt, and thou shalt say unto him. The young lion of the nations, thou didst deem thyself, - Whereas thou, wast like the crocodile in the seas, And didst cause thy streams to burst forth And didst trouble the waters with thy feet, And foul their rivers.

Du Menschenkind, mache eine Wehklage über Pharao, den König zu Ägypten, und sprich zu ihm: Du bist gleichwie ein Löwe unter den Heiden und wie ein Meerdrache und springest in deinen Strömen und trübest das Wasser mit deinen Füßen und machst seine Ströme trübe.

3 Thus saith My Lord, Yahweh, Therefore will I spread over thee my net, With a gathered host of many peoples, -And they shall bring thee up in my net;

So spricht der HERR HERR: Ich will mein Netz über dich auswerfen durch einen großen Haufen Volks, die dich sollen in mein Garn jagen.

4 And I will stretch thee out on the land, Over the face of the field, will I fling thee, - And will cause to settle upon thee all the birds of the heavens, And will satiate with thee the wild beasts of all the earth;

Und will dich aufs Land ziehen und aufs Feld werfen, daß alle Vögel des Himmels auf dir sitzen sollen, und alle Tiere auf Erden von dir satt werden.

5 And I will lay thy flesh on the mountains, — And fill the valleys, with thy blood;

Und will dein Aas auf die Berge werfen und mit deiner Höhe die Täler ausfüllen.

6 And will soak the earth with thy blood, amongst the mountains, - And the channels shall be filled with thee.

Das Land, darin du schwimmest, will ich von deinem Blut rot machen bis an die Berge hinan, daß die Bäche von dir voll werden.

7 And when I quench thee, I will cover the heavens, And obscure their stars, — The sun—with a cloud, will I cover, And the moon shall not shed her light;

Und wenn du nun gar dahin bist, so will ich den Himmel verhüllen und seine Sterne verfinstern und die Sonne mit Wolken überziehen, und der Mond soll nicht scheinen.

8 As for all the light-bearers in the heavens, I will obscure them over thee— And will stretch out darkness over thy land, Declareth My Lord Yahweh.

Alle Lichter am Himmel will ich über dir lassen dunkel werden und will eine Finsternis in deinem Lande machen, spricht der HERR HERR.

9 And I will aggrieve the heart of many peoples, - when I bring them who are broken off from thee among the nations, unto lands which thou hast not known.

Dazu will ich vieler Völker Herz erschreckt machen, wenn ich die Heiden deine Plage erfahren lasse und viel Länder, die du nicht kennest.

10 Yea I will cause amazement over thee unto many peoples And the hair of their kings shall stand on end over thee, when I brandish my sword over their faces, - And they shall tremble every moment every man for his own life, In the day of thy fall.

Viel Völker sollen sich über dir entsetzen, und ihren Königen soll vor dir grauen, wenn ich mein Schwert wider sie blinken lasse, und sollen plötzlich erschrecken, daß ihnen das Herz entfallen wird über deinem Fall.

11 For thus saith My Lord, Yahweh: -the sword of the king of Babylon shall reach thee.

Denn so spricht der HERR HERR: Das Schwert des Königs zu Babel soll dich treffen.

12 With the swords of mighty men, will I cause thy multitude to fall, Terrible ones of the nations all of them!-And they shall spoil the pride of Egypt, And all her multitude shall be destroyed,

Und ich will dein Volk fällen durch das Schwert der Helden und durch allerlei Tyrannen der Heiden; die sollen die HERRLIchkeit Ägyptens verheeren, daß all ihr Volk vertilget werde.

13 And I will cause to perish all her beasts, from beside the many waters, — And the foot of man shall not trouble them any more, Nor shall hoof of beast, trouble them.

Und ich will alle ihre Tiere umbringen an den großen Wassern, daß sie keines Menschen Fuß und keines Tieres Klauen trübe machen soll.

14 Then, will I make their waters subside, And, their streams—like oil, will I cause to flow, — Declareth My Lord, Yahweh.

Alsdann will ich ihre Wasser lauter machen, daß ihre Ströme fließen wie Öl spricht der HERR HERR,

15 When I make the land of Egypt an astonishment A land laid bare of its fulness, When I cut off all that dwell therein, Then shall they know that, I am Yahweh.

wenn ich das Land Ägypten verwüstet und alles, was im Lande ist, öde gemacht und alle, so drinnen wohnen, erschlagen habe, daß sie erfahren, daß ich der HERR sei.

16 A dirge, it is And they shall chant it, The daughters of the nations Shall chant it: Over Egypt and over all her multitude, Shall they chant it, Declareth My Lord, Yahweh.

Das wird der Jammer sein, den man wohl mag klagen; ja, viel Töchter der Heiden werden solche Klage führen über Ägypten und all ihr Volk wird man klagen, spricht der HERR HERR.

17 And it came to pass in the twelfth year on the fifteenth of the month, that the word of Yahweh came unto me saying:

Und im zwölften Jahr, am fünfzehnten Tage desselbigen Monden, geschah des HERRN Wort zu mir und sprach:

18 Son of man Wail thou over the multitude of Egypt and cause it to descend—her and the daughters of the famous nations—into the earth below with them who descend into the pit.

Du Menschenkind, beweine das Volk in Ägypten und stoße es mit den Töchtern der starken Heiden hinab unter die Erde zu denen, die in die Grube fahren.

19 Than whom, art thou more precious? Descend and be laid low with the uncircumcised:

Wo ist nun deine Wollust? Hinunter, und lege dich zu den Unbeschnittenen!

20 Into the midst of them who were thrust through by the sword, let them fall, -To the sword, hath she been delivered up, Lay ye hold of her and all her multitudes.

Sie werden fallen unter den Erschlagenen mit dem Schwert. Das Schwert ist schon gefaßt und gezückt über ihr ganzes Volk.

21 The chiefs of the mighty shall speak to him out of the midst of hades, with his helpers, - They have descended They have lain down. The uncircumcised! Thrust through by the sword. (Sheol h7585)

Davon werden sagen in der Hölle die starken Helden mit ihren Gehilfen, die alle hinuntergefahren sind und liegen da unter den Unbeschnittenen und Erschlagenen vom Schwert. (Sheol h7585)

22 There, is Assyria with all her gathered host, Round about him, are his graves, All of them thrust through, The fallen by the sword:

Daselbst liegt Assur mit all seinem Volk umher begraben, die alle erschlagen und durchs Schwert gefallen sind.

23 Whose graves have been set In the recesses of the pit, And so her gathered host is round about her grave, All of them thrust through. Fallen by the sword, Who caused terror in the land of the living.

Ihre Gräber sind tief in der Grube, und sein Volk liegt allenthalben umher begraben, die alle erschlagen und durchs Schwert gefallen sind, da sich die ganze Welt vor fürchtete.

24 There, is Persia with all her multitude, round about her grave, — All of them, thrust through The fallen by the sword Who have descended, uncircumcised into the earth below Who made themselves a terror in the land of the living, And so they have borne their confusion with them who descend into the pit:

Da liegt auch Elam mit all seinem Haufen umher begraben, die alle erschlagen und durchs Schwert gefallen sind und hinuntergefahren als die Unbeschnittenen unter die Erde, davor sich auch alle Welt fürchtete; und müssen ihre Schande tragen mit denen, die in die Grube fahren.

25 In the midst of them who were thrust through, have they have placed a couch for her with all her multitude, Round about it, are her graves, -All of them, uncircumcised. Thrust through with the sword. For that their terror was caused in the land of the living. And so they have borne their confusion, with them who descend into the pit, In the midst of them who were thrust through, hath it been placed.

Man hat sie unter die Erschlagenen gelegt samt all ihrem Haufen, und liegen umher begraben; und sind alle wie die Unbeschnittenen und die Erschlagenen vom Schwert, vor denen sich auch alle Welt fürchten mußte; und müssen ihre Schande tragen mit denen, die in die Grube fahren, und unter den Erschlagenen bleiben.

26 There, are Meshech-Tuba and all her multitude, Round about it, are her graves, — All of them uncircumcised, Who were thrust through with the sword, For that they made themselves a terror in the land of the living;

Da liegt Mesech und Thubal mit all ihrem Haufen umher begraben, die alle unbeschnitten und mit dem Schwert erschlagen sind, vor denen sich auch die ganze Welt fürchten mußte,

27 Therefore shall they not lie with the mighty men The fallen ones from age-past times, Who descended into hades with their weapons of war And their swords were placed under their heads. But their iniquities have come upon their bones Because of the terror of the mighty in the land of the living. (Sheol h7585)

und alle andern Helden, die unter den Unbeschnittenen gefallen sind und mit ihrer Kriegswehre zur Hölle gefahren und ihre Schwerter unter ihre Häupter haben müssen legen, und ihre Missetat über ihre Gebeine kommen ist, die doch auch gefürchtete Helden waren in der ganzen Welt; also müssen sie liegen. (Sheol h7585)

28 Thou, therefore in the midst of the uncircumcised, shalt be overthrown. And shalt lie low with them who were thrust through by the sword.

So mußt du freilich auch unter den Unbeschnittenen zerschmettert werden und unter denen, die mit dem Schwert erschlagen sind, liegen.

29 There, are Edom her kings and all her princes, Who have been delivered up in their might. With them who were thrust through by he sword, — They with the uncircumcised, shall lie low. Even with them who descend into the pit.

Da liegt Edom mit seinen Königen und all seinen Fürsten unter den Erschlagenen mit dem Schwert und unter den Unbeschnittenen, samt andern, so in die Grube fahren, die doch mächtig gewesen sind.

30 There, are the princes of the North, all of them, and all the Zidonians, Who have descended with them who were thrust through. By reason of the terror they caused, of their might, are they ashamed, So they have lain down uncircumcised. With them who were thrust through by the sword, And they have bowed their confusion with them who descend into the pit.

Ja, es müssen alle Fürsten von Mitternacht dahin und alle Zidonier, die mit den Erschlagenen hinabgefahren sind, und ihre schreckliche Gewalt ist zuschanden worden, und müssen liegen unter den Unbeschnittenen und denen, so mit dem Schwert erschlagen sind, und ihre Schande tragen samt denen, so in die Grube fahren.

31 Them, shall Pharaoh see, and be grieved over all his multitude, — Thrust through with the sword, shall be Pharaoh and all his army! Declareth My Lord, Yahweh.

Diese wird Pharao sehen und sich trösten mit all seinem Volk, die unter ihm mit dem Schwert erschlagen sind, und mit seinem ganzen Heer, spricht der HERR HERR.

32 For I have suffered his terror to be in the land of the living, Therefore shall be laid low In the midst of the uncircumcised With them who were thrust through by the sword, Pharaoh and all his multitude! Declareth My Lord, Yahweh.

Denn es soll sich auch einmal alle Welt vor mir fürchten, daß Pharao und alle seine Menge soll liegen unter den Unbeschnittenen und mit dem Schwert Erschlagenen, spricht der HERR HERR.
