Ezekiel 31
1 And it came to pass in the eleventh year, in the third month, on the first of the month, that the word of Yahweh came unto me, saying:
ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ଏକାଦଶ ବର୍ଷର ତୃତୀୟ ମାସର ପ୍ରଥମ ଦିନରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କର ବାକ୍ୟ ମୋʼ ନିକଟରେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହେଲା, ଯଥା;
2 Son of man Say unto Pharaoh king of Egypt and unto his multitude, — Whom art thou like in thy greatness?
“ହେ ମନୁଷ୍ୟ-ସନ୍ତାନ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମିସରର ରାଜା ଫାରୋକୁ ଓ ତାହାର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ କୁହ; ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ମହତ୍ତ୍ୱରେ କାହାର ତୁଲ୍ୟ?
3 Lo! Assyria, was a cedar in Lebanon, Beautiful in bough and Dense in foliage and Lofty in stature, — and Among the clouds, came to be his top:
ଦେଖ, ଅଶୂର ଲିବାନୋନସ୍ଥ ଏରସ ବୃକ୍ଷ ସ୍ୱରୂପ ଥିଲା, ତାହାର ସୁନ୍ଦର ଘନଚ୍ଛାୟାଦାୟକ ଓ ଉଚ୍ଚାକୃତି ଶାଖାମାନ ଥିଲା ଓ ତାହାର ଶିଖର ଗହଳିଆ ଡାଳ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଥିଲା।
4 The waters made him great, the roaring deep, made him high—with its currents going round about the place where it was planted, Its channels also, it sent forth unto all the trees of the field.
ଅପାର ଜଳ ତାହାକୁ ପୁଷ୍ଟ କଲା, ଜଳଧି ତାହାକୁ ବର୍ଦ୍ଧିତ କଲା; ତାହାର ସ୍ରୋତସମୂହ ତାହାର ରୋପଣ ସ୍ଥାନର ଚତୁର୍ଦ୍ଦିଗରେ ବହିଲା ଓ ସେ କ୍ଷେତ୍ରସ୍ଥ ବୃକ୍ଷସକଳର ନିକଟକୁ ଆପଣା ଜଳପ୍ରଣାଳୀ ପଠାଇଲା।
5 For this cause higher, was his stature than any of the trees of the field, -And multiplied were his boughs And lengthened were his branches, By reason of the mighty waters when he shot forth shoots.
ଏସକାଶୁ କ୍ଷେତ୍ରସ୍ଥ ବୃକ୍ଷସକଳ ଅପେକ୍ଷା ସେ ଉଚ୍ଚୀକୃତ ହେଲା ଓ ତାହାର ଡାଳସବୁ ବହୁସଂଖ୍ୟକ ହେଲା; ଆଉ ସେ ଆପଣା ଶାଖା ମେଲିବା ବେଳେ ଅପାର ଜଳ ହେତୁ ସେହି ସବୁ ଦୀର୍ଘ ହେଲା।
6 Among his branches, all the birds of the heavens, made their nests, And under his boughs, all the wild beasts of the field, brought forth, — And, in his shade, dwelt all the mighty nations.
ତାହାର ଡାଳରେ ଆକାଶର ପକ୍ଷୀସକଳ ବସା କଲେ ଓ ତାହାର ଶାଖା ତଳେ କ୍ଷେତ୍ରସ୍ଥ ପଶୁସକଳ ପ୍ରସବ କଲେ, ପୁଣି, ତାହାର ଛାୟା ତଳେ ମହାଗୋଷ୍ଠୀସବୁ ବାସ କଲେ।
7 Thus became he beautiful in his greatness, In the length of his waving branches, Because his root had gone towards mighty waters.
ଏହି ପ୍ରକାରେ ସେ ଆପଣା ମହତ୍ତ୍ୱରେ, ତାହାର ଶାଖାସକଳର ଦୀର୍ଘତାରେ ମନୋହର ହେଲା; କାରଣ ପ୍ରଚୁର ଜଳ ନିକଟରେ ତାହାର ମୂଳ ଥିଲା।
8 Cedars hid him not. in the garden of God, Fir-trees were not like unto his boughs, Nor plane-trees, like his branches, —no, tree in the garden of God, was like unto him in his beauty.
ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଉଦ୍ୟାନସ୍ଥ ଏରସ ବୃକ୍ଷସବୁ ତାହାକୁ ଲୁଚାଇ ପାରିଲେ ନାହିଁ; ଦେବଦାରୁ ବୃକ୍ଷସବୁ ତାହାର ଡାଳ ପରି ଓ ଅର୍ମୋନ୍ ବୃକ୍ଷସବୁ ତାହାର ଶାଖା ପରି ନ ଥିଲେ, ଅଥବା ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଉଦ୍ୟାନସ୍ଥିତ କୌଣସି ବୃକ୍ଷ ସୌନ୍ଦର୍ଯ୍ୟରେ ତାହା ପରି ନ ଥିଲା।
9 Beautiful, I made him in the abundance of his waving branches, - Therefore was he envied by all the trees of Eden, which were in the garden of God.
ଆମ୍ଭେ ବହୁସଂଖ୍ୟକ ଶାଖା ଦ୍ୱାରା ତାକୁ ମନୋହର କଲୁ; ଏଥିପାଇଁ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଉଦ୍ୟାନସ୍ଥିତ ଏଦନର ସକଳ ବୃକ୍ଷ ତାହାକୁ ଈର୍ଷା କଲେ।
10 Therefore Thus, saith My Lord Yahweh, Because thou hast become lofty in stature, And he hath stretched his top among the clouds, And his heart is exalted in his loftiness.
ଏହେତୁ ପ୍ରଭୁ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି; ଦେଖ, ସେ ବୃକ୍ଷ ଦୀର୍ଘତାରେ ଉଚ୍ଚୀକୃତ ହୋଇଅଛି ଓ ଗହଳିଆ ଡାଳସମୂହ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ସେ ଆପଣା ଶିଖର ରଖିଅଛି, ଆଉ ଆପଣାର ଉଚ୍ଚତାରେ ତାହାର ଅନ୍ତଃକରଣ ଗର୍ବିତ ହୋଇଅଛି,
11 Let me then deliver him into the hand of the chief of the nations, He shall effectually deal with him! According to his lawlessness, have I driven him out:
ଏଥିପାଇଁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତାହାକୁ ନାନା ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ବଳବାନର ହସ୍ତରେ ସମର୍ପଣ କରିବା, ସେ ନିଶ୍ଚୟ ତାହା ସହିତ ଉଚିତ ବ୍ୟବହାର କରିବ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ତାହାର ଦୁଷ୍ଟତା ସକାଶୁ ତାହାକୁ ତଡ଼ି ଦେଇଅଛୁ।
12 Therefore have foreigners the terrible of the nations cut him down. And abandoned him, — Upon the mountains and in all valleys, have fallen his waving branches And broken have been his boughs in all the river-beds of the land, And all the peoples of the earth have come down out of his shade. And abandoned him:
ପୁଣି, ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଭୟଙ୍କର ବିଦେଶୀମାନେ ତାହାକୁ କାଟି ପକାଇ ଛାଡ଼ି ଯାଇଅଛନ୍ତି; ପର୍ବତମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ଓ ସକଳ ଉପତ୍ୟକାରେ ତାହାର ଶାଖାସବୁ ପଡ଼ିଅଛି, ଆଉ ଦେଶର ସକଳ ଜଳପ୍ରବାହର ନିକଟରେ ତାହାର ଡାଳସବୁ ଭଙ୍ଗା ଯାଇଅଛି; ପୁଣି, ପୃଥିବୀସ୍ଥ ଯାବତୀୟ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀ ତାହାର ଛାୟା ତଳୁ ଯାଇଅଛନ୍ତି ଓ ତାହାକୁ ତ୍ୟାଗ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି।
13 Upon his trunk, shall settle down all the birds of the heavens, - And among his boughs, are to be found all the wild beasts of the field: —
ଜଳରାଶିର ନିକଟବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ସକଳ ବୃକ୍ଷ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ କୌଣସି ବୃକ୍ଷ ଯେପରି ଆପଣା ଦୀର୍ଘତାରେ ଦର୍ପ ନ କରେ, କିଅବା ଗହଳିଆ ଡାଳମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଆପଣା ଶିଖର ନ ରଖେ, ଅଥବା ଜଳପାୟୀ ବିକ୍ରମୀସକଳ ଯେପରି ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ଉଚ୍ଚତାରେ ଠିଆ ନ ହୁଅନ୍ତି;
14 To the end that none of the trees of the waters— May exalt themselves in their stature or stretch their top among the clouds, Nor their mighty ones take their stand in their height- any that drink of the waters, — Because they all, are delivered to death Unto the earth below. In the midst of the sons of Adam. Amongst them who descend into the pit.
ଏହି ଅଭିପ୍ରାୟରେ ତାହାର ଭଗ୍ନାବଶିଷ୍ଟାଂଶ ଉପରେ ଆକାଶର ପକ୍ଷସକଳ ବାସ କରିବେ ଓ କ୍ଷେତ୍ରସ୍ଥ ପଶୁସକଳ ତାହାର ଶାଖାମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ରହିବେ; କାରଣ ମନୁଷ୍ୟ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଗର୍ତ୍ତଗାମୀମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ସେମାନେ ସମସ୍ତେ ମୃତ୍ୟୁୁରେ ଅଧୋଭୁବନରେ ସମର୍ପିତ ହୋଇଅଛନ୍ତି।
15 Thus, saith My Lord Yahweh, In the day when he descended into hades, I caused a mourning. I covered over him the roaring deep, And restrained the currents thereof And stayed were the mighty waters, So caused I gloom over him unto Lebanon, And all the trees of the field for him were covered with a shroud. ପ୍ରଭୁ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଏହି କଥା କହନ୍ତି; ସେ ପାତାଳକୁ ଓହ୍ଲାଇ ଯିବା ଦିନ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଶୋକ ନିରୂପଣ କଲୁ, ଆମ୍ଭେ ତାହା ସକାଶୁ ଜଳଧିକୁ ଆଚ୍ଛାଦିତ କଲୁ ଓ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତହିଁର ସ୍ରୋତସମୂହକୁ ନିବୃତ୍ତ କଲୁ, ତହିଁରେ ମହାଜଳରାଶି ରୁଦ୍ଧ ହେଲା; ପୁଣି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ତାହା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଲିବାନୋନକୁ ଶୋକ କରାଇଲୁ ଓ କ୍ଷେତ୍ରସ୍ଥ ବୃକ୍ଷସକଳ ତାହା ଲାଗି ମ୍ଳାନ ହେଲେ। (Sheol h7585)
16 At the sound of his fall, I made nations tremble, When I caused him to descend into hades, with them who descend into the pit, — Then were grieved in the earth below-All the trees of Eden, The choicest and best of Lebanon All who had drunk the waters. (Sheol h7585)
ଆମ୍ଭେ ତାହାକୁ ଗର୍ତ୍ତ ଅବରୋହଣକାରୀମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ପାତାଳକୁ ପକାଇଦେବା ବେଳେ, ତାହାର ପତନ ଶବ୍ଦରେ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀୟମାନଙ୍କୁ କମ୍ପିତ କରାଇଲୁ; ପୁଣି, ଏଦନର, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍, ଲିବାନୋନର ମନୋନୀତ ଓ ସର୍ବୋତ୍ତମ ଜଳପାୟୀ ବୃକ୍ଷସକଳ ଅଧୋଭୁବନରେ ସାନ୍ତ୍ୱନା ପାଇଲେ। (Sheol h7585)
17 Even they, with him descended into hades. Among them who were thrust through with the sword, - Even his seed who dwelt in his shade in the midst of the nations. (Sheol h7585)
ସେମାନେ ହିଁ ତାହା ସହିତ ପାତାଳକୁ, ଖଡ୍ଗରେ ହତ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଓହ୍ଲାଇ ଗଲେ; ହଁ, ସେମାନେ ତାହାର ବାହୁ ସ୍ୱରୂପ ହୋଇ ତାହାର ଛାୟା ତଳେ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀୟମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ବାସ କରିଥିଲେ। (Sheol h7585)
18 Unto whom couldst thou be likened thus, in glory and in greatness, among the trees of Eden? Yet shalt thou be caused to descend with the trees of Eden into the earth below In the midst of the uncircumcised, shalt thou lie down With them who were thrust through by the sword, the same, is Pharaoh and all his multitude, Declareth My Lord Yahweh.
ଏହିରୂପେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଐଶ୍ୱର୍ଯ୍ୟରେ ଓ ମହତ୍ତ୍ୱରେ ଏଦନସ୍ଥ ବୃକ୍ଷସମୂହର ମଧ୍ୟରେ କାହାର ତୁଲ୍ୟ? ତଥାପି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଏଦନସ୍ଥ ବୃକ୍ଷଗଣର ସହିତ ଅଧୋଭୁବନକୁ ଅଣାଯିବ; ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଅସୁନ୍ନତ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଖଡ୍ଗହତ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଶୟନ କରିବ। ଏହି ଫାରୋ ଓ ତାହାର ସମସ୍ତ ଲୋକ ଏପରି ଅଟନ୍ତି, ଏହା ପ୍ରଭୁ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି।”
