Ezekiel 30
1 And the word of Yahweh came unto me, saying:
A palavra de Javé veio novamente a mim, dizendo:
2 Son of man Prophesy. and thou shalt say, Thus saith My Lord Yahweh, — Howl ye. Alas for the day!
“Filho do homem, profetiza, e diz: 'O Senhor Javé diz: 'O Senhor Javé diz': “Lamento, 'Ai do dia!
3 For near, is a day, Yea near, is a day pertaining to Yahweh, A day of cloud, A time of nations, shall it be!
Pois o dia está próximo, até mesmo o dia de Yahweh está próximo. Será um dia de nuvens, uma época das nações.
4 Then shall come a sword into Egypt, And there shall be a pang in Ethiopia When the deadly wounded one falleth in Egypt, - And they take away her multitude, and, her foundations, are broken down.
Uma espada virá sobre o Egito, e a angústia estará na Etiópia, quando os mortos caem no Egito. Eles lhe tiram a multidão, e suas fundações estão quebradas.
5 Ethiopia and Libya and Lydia, and all the mixed multitude and Cub, and the sons of the land of the covenant with them—by the sword, shall they fall.
“““Etiópia, Put, Lud, todo o povo misto, Leãozinho, e as crianças da terra que se aliam a eles, cairão com eles pela espada”.
6 Thus saith Yahweh, Then shall fall the supporters of Egypt, Then shall come down the pride of her strength, —From Migdol to Seweneh, by the sword shall they fall therein, Declareth My Lord, Yahweh.
“'Yahweh diz: “Os que sustentam o Egito também cairão. O orgulho de seu poder cairá. Cairão pela espada nela da torre de Seveneh”. diz o Senhor Yahweh.
7 So shall they be made desolate in the midst of lands that are desolate, - And: his cities—in the midst of cities that are laid waste, shall be found.
“Eles ficarão desolados no meio dos países que estão desolados. Suas cidades estarão entre as cidades que são desperdiçadas.
8 So shall they know that, I am Yahweh, - By my setting a fire in Egypt, When all her helpers shall be broken.
Eles saberão que eu sou Yahweh quando eu ateei um incêndio no Egito, e todos os seus ajudantes são destruídos.
9 In that day, shall messengers go forth from before me making haste, to cause dread unto Ethiopia so confident, - And a pang shall be upon them in the day of Egypt, For lo! it cometh.
“““Naquele dia os mensageiros sairão de diante de mim em navios para assustar os descuidados etíopes. Haverá angústia sobre eles, como no dia do Egito; pois, eis que ele vem”.
10 Thus, saith My Lord Yahweh, — Therefore will I cause to cease the multitude of Egypt, by the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon:
“'O Senhor Yahweh diz: “Também farei cessar a multidão do Egito”, pela mão de Nabucodonosor, rei da Babilônia.
11 He, and his people with him the terrible ones of the nations are about to be brought in to destroy the land, - Therefore shall they unsheathe their swords against Egypt, and fill the land with the slain;
Ele e sua gente com ele, o terrível das nações, serão trazidos para destruir a terra. Eles desembainharão suas espadas contra o Egito, e encher a terra com os mortos.
12 And I will make the rivers dry, and will sell the land into the hand of wicked one.—and make the land desolate with the fulness thereof, by the hand of foreigners, I, Yahweh! have spoken.
Vou fazer secar os rios, e venderá a terra na mão de homens maus. Farei com que a terra fique desolada, e tudo o que aí está, pela mão de estrangeiros. Eu, Yahweh, o disse”.
13 Thus saith My Lord Yahweh, Therefore will I destroy the manufactured gods and Cause to cease the worthless goals, out of Noph, And prince out of the land of Egypt, shall none arise any more, - And I will cause fear in the land of Egypt.
“'The Lord Yahweh diz: “Eu também destruirei os ídolos”, e farei cessar as imagens de Memphis. Não haverá mais um príncipe da terra do Egito. Vou colocar um medo na terra do Egito.
14 Then will I bring desolation upon Pathros, and Set a fire in Zoan, and Execute judgments upon No: and
Vou deixar Pathros desolado, e vai atear um incêndio em Zoan, e executará julgamentos sobre o No.
15 Pour out mine indignation upon Sin the stronghold of Egypt, and Will cut off the multitude of No.
Derramarei minha ira sobre o pecado, o baluarte do Egito. Vou cortar a multidão de No.
16 So will I set a fire in Egypt, Sore anguish shall take Sin. And, No, shall be for rending asunder, And Noph, be in straits every day,
Vou atear um incêndio no Egito O pecado estará em grande angústia. Não será quebrado. Memphis terá adversários durante o dia.
17 The young men of Aven and Pi-beseth, by the sword, shall fall; And lo! into captivity, shall they themselves wend their way.
Os jovens de Aven e de Pibeseth cairão pela espada. Eles irão para o cativeiro.
18 And in Tehaphnehes, hath the day become dark, Because I have broken, there the yoke-bars of Egypt, And there shall be made to cease therein the pride of her strength, — She, a cloud, shall cover her! And her daughters into captivity, shall wend their way.
Em Tehaphnehes também o dia se retirará, quando eu quebro as cangas do Egito lá. O orgulho de seu poder deixará de existir nela. Quanto a ela, uma nuvem a cobrirá, e suas filhas irão para o cativeiro.
19 Thus will I execute judgments on Egypt; And they shall know that, I, am Yahweh.
Thus Executarei julgamentos sobre o Egito. Então eles saberão que eu sou Yahweh””.
20 And it came to pass in the eleventh year in the first month on the seventh of the month, that the word of Yahweh came unto me saying:
No décimo primeiro ano, no primeiro mês, no sétimo dia do mês, a palavra de Javé veio a mim, dizendo:
21 Son of man, The arm of Pharaoh king of Egypt, have I broken, - And lo! it hath not been bound up-To apply healing remedies To put on a bandage for binding it up. To make it strong to grasp the sword.
“Filho do homem, quebrei o braço do Faraó rei do Egito. Eis que ele não foi amarrado, para aplicar remédios, para colocar um curativo para amarrá-lo, para que ele se torne forte para segurar a espada.
22 Therefore, Thus, saith My Lord Yahweh-Behold me! against Pharaoh king of Egypt, Therefore will I break his arms, That which is strong, and That which is broken, - So will I cause the sword to fall out of his hand.
Portanto o Senhor Javé diz: “Eis que eu sou contra o Faraó, rei do Egito, e quebrarei seus braços, o braço forte, e o que foi quebrado”. Farei com que a espada caia de sua mão”.
23 And I will disperse the Egyptians among the nations, — And scatter them throughout the lands;
Espalharei os egípcios entre as nações, e os dispersarei através dos países.
24 And will uphold the arms of the king of Babylon, And put my sword into his hand, - And will break the arms of Pharaoh, And he shall utter the groans of one thrust through, before him.
Fortalecerei os braços do rei da Babilônia e colocarei minha espada em sua mão; mas quebrarei os braços do Faraó, e ele gemerá diante do rei da Babilônia com o gemido de um homem mortalmente ferido.
25 Yea I will uphold the arms of the king of Babylon, But the arms of Pharaoh shall fall, And they shall know that I am Yahweh By my putting my sword into the hand of the king of Babylon, And he shall stretch it out against the land of Egypt.
Segurarei os braços do rei da Babilônia, mas os braços do faraó cairão. Então eles saberão que eu sou Yahweh quando eu colocar minha espada na mão do rei da Babilônia, e ele a estenderá sobre a terra do Egito.
26 So will I disperse the Egyptians among the nations, And scatter them throughout the lands, And they shall know that, I, am Yahweh.
Eu espalharei os egípcios entre as nações e os dispersarei pelos países. Então eles saberão que eu sou Yahweh”.
